Adam Ryland Posted December 21, 2017 Share Posted December 21, 2017 I decided to do an extra progress report pre-Christmas as some people had been asking for one. The Game The final interface pieces were added today, so the game is now finished from a visual stand point. There's a couple of pieces that are probably going to be tweaked, but this is always a big milestone in the development. In terms of the game itself, testing has continued to go really well. Some extra features have been added or tweaked based on tester feedback, but for the most part it appears to be super stable and very easy to use. The Database The database has now been fully updated, which was a truly marathon task. I'm really pleased with it, and it's a lot more solid than WMMA4's version. I have 100+ new characters still to add, and that'll be addressed over the Christmas and New Year period. What Now? As well as the above, I'll be doing some final deep testing to try and iron out any bugs that have managed to slip through the cracks. If all goes to plan, this will be happening in the first week of January. Assuming nothing major gets found, I'd expect to be announcing the release date after that. And I'm interested in if load times in long term games have gotten any better. These games are already next to perfect besides those to items.
