kemicode Posted January 28, 2018 Share Posted January 28, 2018 I've gone through both trial versions of WMMA4 (only fairly recently) and WMMA5 and I absolutely loved it. Safe to say, I will definitely be buying the full game at day one. Tried my hand at creating my own company for WMMA5 and will work from there. I want to maximize my time so when the full game comes out, I'll hit the ground running. I was wondering what you would suggest I (or anyone) would do while waiting for Jan. 30. Here's what I did so far: - Set up my events until July - Read the help section - Read the Developer's Journal twice - Be updated in the forums - Opened up a new FW class by offering a bunchload of contracts to free agents - Tagged my fighters accordingly - Read everything about the teams/companies/regions - Read the biographies of my fighters so I can get an idea of who they are and where they came from - I even urged Li-Kong Ho to found his own team in Asia which I edited to be arguably the best team in the game. I relocated my best prospects to Asia and had them train there. - I talked a few guys out of retirement - I sort of planned my future #1 contenders ahead - Checked out all the necessary settings I won't be looking much at editing to start since I'm fairly new to the game but would love your thoughts on what else I can do in the next couple of days? It's been a royal pain as loads of the areas (like Russia + Ukraine) are only represented by one category, though their names tend to be very different.</p><p> </p><p> Then this happens in the latest patch:</p><p> "Added a Brazilian category to Character Names to separate it from South American"</p><p> </p><p> It's a great change... but after painstakingly going through all 10,000 names (my current DB size) by hand, I just can't bring myself to look through them again. That's a lot of time.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I have played through 3 months with every company except KFM FC, who I will play as after work tonight.</p><p> </p><p> I also copied the default data and made a world where all of the companies have shut down and all fighters are free agents. mattandbenny Posted January 29, 2018 Share Posted January 29, 2018 I've created my own company and have made a rule where i can only sign undefeated fighters to my roster. Made 8-man one night tournaments to get the champion of each division (HW - BW) and have set up another 8-man contender tournament in eacch division to determine the #1 contender for each title. After this i plan to rum 4-man tournaments to determine the next title challenger in each division. At the limit of the demo - i have my champions and the contender tournaments are all scheduled for the next couple of months. I'll post a list of champions when i get home. This will be a fun side game for me - when Tag releases the new Modern Warriors mod i plan to start a real world game with UFC. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I AM waiting patiently but I just want to know how I can maximize the time waiting by asking you guys what other things I can do in the game so when the full game arrives, I'll be fully ready. I honestly think it's a legit question from someone who wants to be immersed in the game as much as possible.
