The Mad King

Canadian Golden Combat has had its ups and downs over the years. Under George DeColt it was always about his sons and them overcoming the odds of whatever monster George could find and build up. It was a formula that worked, but over the years was starting to grow tired. The fans wanted a hero to step up that wasn't a DeColt at times as well as villains that were not so easily vanquished. Many thought the changing of the guard would bring the changes fans wanted.

Instead the change of ownership saw a rift between brothers. Alex DeColt was put in charge and his choice of bringing in Phil Vibert in caused a rift that saw the eldest brother, Steve, leave in frustration and head to the top rivals of CGC. It was a rocky start, but with a mind like Phil Vibert coming in to book many thought it was a dawning of the new era. Alex was getting older, but Jack was still in his prime and Ricky could be a big time player for years to come. Then there was a crop of talent such as the members of ELITE that included Shooter Sean Deeley along with other up and comers like Trent Shaffer.

The results were much different. Alex and Phil clashed and booking didn't really change. Young talent like Deeley and Shaffer left for greener pastures and a scandal saw Jack become a broken man when he found out his wife had been cheating on Nate Johnson. Even a stalwart like Eddie Chandler left and the company continued to struggle. Phil left and Alex was left in control entirely. What resulted was booking that continued to grow stale and more of the same. Alex grew distant and few could really talk to him.

All these years it has been painful to watch. I am not a DeColt by blood, but I consider Alex a brother. It has been a crazy career many say I didn't deserve and was often because of the fact me and Alex were so close. All I ever did was to try and make CGC as best as it could be, but I am one man. It hurts to see Ricky feel the pull of going elsewhere. It hurts to see Jack putting on the big smile to the crowds, but to see a defeated man when he is not in the public eye. Most of all it hurts to see what is happening to Alex. I must help my friend even if means taking on a job I was never wanting or perhaps even qualified.

BUXtKHv.jpg

I will not let my friend down. I will not see CGC fail. I am Dan DaLay and I am going to be way in over my head.

The Fall From Grace

2009: The changing of the guard happened in this year. George DeColt was finally ready to retire and it wasn't a huge surprise when Alex was picked to run the family business. Steve was by far the best worker, but Alex had a great mind and often helped come up with several angles that were white hot building up to this time. The major rift was Alex making a questionable decision at booker. Many including Steve himself thought he would be booker. Jack was a long shot, but he seemed more content playing to the crowd than booking. At that time he was married and thinking of starting a family as well. Instead it was Phil Vibert that came into the fold to the surprise of many.

Steve was outraged. I remember hearing that argument and even after all these years he and Alex have yet to talk. I know Jack and Ricky will still talk with him, but Alex and Steve have a rift I don't know will ever heal. It is painful to see two brothers hate one another in such a way. I was one of those that stuck by my friend's decision and I knew of Phil's reputation enough to think this was a good change of pace that would help CGC evolve and grow. I was so wrong.

2014: Perhaps our darkest year. For years Phil and Alex clashed over what should happen. Alex wanted to change little from how George ran things. The DeColts were superhumans and in the end of the day they would end up on top. It meant most heels never properly got over and other faces never got a real chance to shine and instead often felt like midcard fodder or a substitute if one of the DeColts was 'injured'.

Phil finally walked out in March right before the biggest event for the company after an especially heated argument that was supposed to crown a new top champ when Christian Price felled me on night one and then Alex would put over Shooter Sean Deeley on night two to give a new top heel to take on Price. Both plans were nixed. Instead I remained champion until that November before finally dropping it to Ricky. Sean? He stuck around, but by the end of the year he finally walked out after he and Alex had a very heated argument that lost us now one of our top young talents.

The chaos continued in June. Eddie Chandler who had been one of our stalwarts got into it with Alex. Eddie was accused of being lazy when he was busting his ass day and night. Once more another talent walked out and a guy that should have deservedly retired as a CGC member now wrestles in TCW. If that blow wasn't bad enough perhaps one of the biggest stories of that year happened in August.

Nate Johnson who was another top name and a long time member was caught having an affair with Jack's wife, Marie. The incident gave us press that we didn't want. Marie and Nate left CGC and it seems Eddie got Nate a job with TCW while Marie decided to stay away from the wrestling business after that. In one year we lost our booker, two important veterans and perhaps our best young talent.

2015: The last big hit happened at the start of the year. Trent Shaffer was another promising young talent that was getting held down by questionable booking. Someone that should be a champion never became one and by January his contract expired. He didn't even try to negotiate and before we knew it he was in USPW playing to a much larger audience.

With that being said this year has tried to make some strides. The tag division saw new champions in Nathan Black and Warren Technique. Perhaps not the best workers, but it was someone new and they continue to prove to be a good team and still even hold the titles. We also saw Donte Dunn win his second Canadian title before dropping it to first time champ Blockbuster recently. Gargantuan finally claimed the world title and even hold it for a few months, but at the same time it is more the same when it comes to the big one. Jack DeColt has recently claimed it and many feel that this is just another long reign of the DeColts staying on top and no one else gaining traction.

That is what I have to stop. Jack as champ is not bad, but he is getting older like me. Once he is gone is Alex just going to have Ricky hold the belt forever? It is time to look to the future because trying to remain in the past is only going to make things worse. I can only hope the meeting I have with Alex coming up will work out. If not I may be looking for a new job myself.

Oh hi.

I have been pondering doing this, but AAW has been going well and I feel I can stretch out into something else. What I will find is if this is perhaps a bit too much on my plate! CGC has always fascinated me and the fact they are in a weird state at the start of 2016 I can't help but feel tempted to give things a go.

This is obviously a much bigger promotion than AAW so the shows themselves will be pretty robust which probably means slower posting. AAW is easy to do a show or two a week. This one? I can't give a time frame, but I will try to be consistent.

In the end I just wanted something else to write and I enjoy doing so on here. Hope all of you coming along for the ride enjoy it as well. I may or may not post cards for upcoming shows. I do enjoy the predictions and such, but I often like throwing some surprises too so I don't know. Maybe I will just post big announced matches and go from there.

Cheers everyone!

The Meeting

kb30avs.jpgBUXtKHv.jpg

It was late in the evening after a Title Bout taping in November when I finally got Alex to see me. I only believe he only agreed to it because I had asked. Only other person he may have granted one these days would maybe Jack or Ricky. Not like many others want to talk to Alex if they can avoid it. Most of those around now are veterans that are wondering if they are the next one out or newer guys that aren't wanting to get in trouble and get booted.

Alex was worn out and hunkered over his desk. Paperwork was spread all over the place and he was looking as if he hadn't slept in days. Despite this it was a rare smile that came across his face when he saw me come in. Rising from his desk he moved over and we embraced.

Alex: "Dan, it feels like we don't get to talk as much. You know my door is always open to you."

His smile faded. As much as I wanted to smile and have a friendly talk this was not going to be the night. His features turned more serious as he sat back down and motioned to a seat nearby. After a moment I joined him and admittedly I was unsure how to word things.

Dan: "Alex, let me help you. This is not the Alex I grew up with and it hurts. You can't do everything."

Alex: *Faint laugh* "I am fine. I just didn't sleep well last night is all. Everything is going fine."

Dan: "Bullshit..."

I couldn't keep the anger in my voice from coming out. He really thinks he could lie to me like that I would just believe it. Others may look away. Others would just say 'of course' and move along.

Dan: "You spend less and less time around the boys. When I do see you you are frustrated and look ready to shout at anyone that messes up in the slightest. Everyone is on eggshells because they don't know if they will be the next casualty. It is time for you to ****ing admit you need help and if I can't help you what kind of friend am I?"

I could see the anger rising. His hands were clenched to the point his knuckles were white. Yet he tried his best to remain composed, but I could tell he is ready to lay into me and at this point I don't care.

Alex: "And how are you going to help?"

The response kind of made me pause. I didn't expect him to even ask let alone in that manner. Growing angry he was, but that question was said in a calm voice for the time being.

Dan: "Let me help with the book."

Alex: *Laugh* "And what do you know about that? You are a great friend, but what makes you think you can help with that?"

Dan: "Apparently I can't do any worse than you. Look you are losing the boys. Jack tries to keep their moral up, but Jack is still hurting over Marie. I don't know if he will ever be the same. Ricky? Ricky Is looking to greener pastures."

Alex looks at me as if I had grown a second head. Part of him possibly realizing I speak the truth while another part of him refuses to see reality. Everything is right in his weird twisted world.

Alex: "Ricky won't leave. He is a DeColt."

Dan: "He is young and I think he realizes it might be best to be a small fish in a bigger pond and work his way up than to stay here and grow old and stagnant. We have had our time, Alex. You are retired. I am not far behind. Jack? Probably not far behind either. What happens then? All I ask is at least give me a chance to help you."

More silence. I realized my own voice had grown louder and perhaps others outside the office could hear my shouting. So be it. This is something that has to done.

Alex: "You have ideas?"

Dan: "I do. I have stuff for you to consider. All I ask is let me work with you. Let us make this a place people want to work again. I want my son to work here and be proud. I want guys here to think they have a future. Alex, please listen to me. We have been friends for over twenty years. You are Robin's godfather. If you can't work with and trust me who can you?"

The rising anger seems to be subsiding, yet Alex remains quite for what feels like ages. He doesn't even look like he is paying attention to me but staring off to the side while lost in thought. Then it is a slight nod.

Alex: "Six months. We'll try for six months."

Six months is more than I could have honestly hoped for. Am I really getting through to him? I manage a small smile and I give a nod in return.

Dan: "Thank you."

Alex: "Don't thank me yet. I hope you are ready for a late night. We start tonight."

Dan: "I hope you keep some good stuff in the desk."

Alex: "The best."

And so it began. For six months he would give me a chance to work with him and see what sort ideas we could come up with. Will it have an impact remains to be seen, but for the first time in a long while I feel like we might have a brighter future even if it is just a slight glimmer at the moment.

The Top Dog

There is one thing me and Alex can agree on. Jack DeColt is the main face of the company for now. He is thirty-eight and has the trademark charisma and look that the DeColt family is known for. Hopefully he can carry on for another two to three years while we can build a solid main event scene that can carry on without him. For me it isn't bad that a DeColt is on top. It is more that others need to show they are strong enough to help or defeat the DeColts and seem important in the fan's eyes.

DcuAGmV.jpg4JtfGhW.jpgvkgrHBz.jpgluBdDEc.jpgacW5yLt.jpg

Five for the Future

CGC hasn't been big on written contracts as of late. That in a way has caused a problem. That is how we lost Trent who just signed with a bigger name and we couldn't do anything about it. Until now the only big name on a written deal was Jack while a few newer names signed a written deal for a small amount. That is something I am starting to change. Will everyone get a written deal? No, but there are ones that I feel are needed. Of the roster as a whole right now I see this five as the ones we need to keep locked down and I got Alex to agree with me and sign them to longer deals.

Ricky DeColt was an obvious choice. In the end the DeColt name draws and when Jack retires it will be Ricky who has to carry the mantle. Donte Dunn is still a work in progress, but he is only twenty-four which means we have plenty of time to make a star out of him. Gargantuan is a pain in the ass at times, but he is a monster that is a once in a lifetime deal. I am amazed USPW or SWF haven't tried to steal him because he is a beast of a man even if not a great worker. If he is going to stay at the top he will need to improve in the ring, but as far as look goes he is tops.

Lee is the oldest out of the group, but at thirty-five he has a few good years left in him and he is one of our best workers. Will he be a world champ? I don't know if that is in the cards, but we need someone like him near the top to put on good matches. Christian is the final one, but certainly not least. He has improved over the years and honestly he could be a top face behind or equal to Ricky once Jack is gone. Losing others will hurt, but I feel if we can keep these five and build around them we might have a chance to turn things around.

On top of that I believe signing our announcers and referees to long term deals is worth doing as well. They work all shows anyways so may as well try to put them on a contract that pays well and keeps them from being tempted away by someone else.

Title Bout wrestling rolls into action and we are kicking off with a big main event where the CGC World Championship will be on the line! Plus number one contender matches for both the CGC Canadian and the CGC World Tag Team championships as we we roll towards the first big event of the year: ELIMINATION!

AeQPKi9.jpgHtt8tAH.jpgBUXtKHv.jpg

Two CGC Legends face off as Jack DeColt puts his CGC World Championship on the line against the monsterous Dan DaLay. They will be facing off on opposite teams at Elimination, but right now the winner obviously will have momentum as they carry the title into Elimination that may inspire their team to victory!

dFhh17S.jpgHtt8tAH.jpgWle6yqE.jpg

At Elimination Blockbuster will make his first defense of the CGC Canadian championship and his opponent could be savvy, technical veteran Bobby Thomas or the young upstart known as Antonio Del Veccio who is looking to claim gold for himself for the first time. Either way the winner will have a big tough task ahead of them as they face the big man known as Blockbuster.

gzJ4DfT.jpgwjdbIqa.jpgHtt8tAH.jpgn6Wj7TA.jpgWKWZYXR.jpg

The Predators have had a good run with tag told, but at Elimination they may be in trouble. The New Soldiers of Fortune are looking to tie the original Soldiers of Fortune as the most decorated tag team in CGC history with a fifth title reign while the Dirty White Boys are no slouches either after having two separate occasions. These two teams duke it out in what will be one big brawl.

And that isn't all! All your other favorite CGC stars will around as there is bound to be excitement about as bonds are formed and teams prepare for Elimination!

I hired a few names already and that will probably be all I do at least for a bit. There will be one night jobber hires too, but I don't want to bloat my roster too much. With that said DWN will probably make his way back home to Canada before 2016 is over.</p>

<strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Elimination!</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Elimination has always been one of our more popular events. While there other matches the focus has always been on the three against three elimination matches that are on the card. The main event always features the top names while there tends to be two to three others giving the midcard a chance to showcase their skills. This year we started building to three different matches.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="AeQPKi9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/AeQPKi9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="DcuAGmV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DcuAGmV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="acW5yLt.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/acW5yLt.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Htt8tAH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Htt8tAH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="BUXtKHv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BUXtKHv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="luBdDEc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/luBdDEc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vkgrHBz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vkgrHBz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p>

<strong>Jack DeColt, Ricky DeColt and Christian Price vs Dan DaLay, Thrill Seeker and Gargantuan</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

No surprise on what the main event would be. Right now it features three of the big feuds going on in CGC. Jack had beaten Gargantuan for his sixth title reign and then managed to hold onto the title after another brutal match with Garg. Jack will be moving on soon, but he must deal with the beast one last time before doing so. Ricky and Thrill Seeker are in a best of seven series that currently see both men at one win a piece. This will probably carry on for awhile and should produce great matches as well. Finally Price is getting his first taste at being in the Elimination main event as he and I have been feuding for the past bit.</p><p> </p><p>

It should he a good main event and while Gargantuan is still horrible in the ring the rest of us should be good enough to keep it from being a big, glaring problem. For all I know this might be my last time in the main event at this show so I am going to do my part and make it memorable if so. I am not the greatest worker by far, but I am working with some top notch talent. I expect Jack will be thinking along the same lines. It might not be his last year, but he knows there isn't many left.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="4JtfGhW.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4JtfGhW.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="jMHWahO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/jMHWahO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="6oKbWDY.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6oKbWDY.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Htt8tAH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Htt8tAH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="USZHfjp.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/USZHfjp.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="wjvt5EV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wjvt5EV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="PYUJNnz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PYUJNnz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p>

<strong>Donte Dunn, Zeus and Stevie vs Ryan Powell, Whippy the Clown and Ozzie Golden</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

This one is a nice mix of talent mostly focused on Donte Dunn and the fact he hasn't had the best of luck since losing the title to Blockbuster. Resident jerkface Ryan Powell has been at the forefront of making fun of Donte and it has finally boiled down to team Donte and team Powell. Donte has managed to recruit the help of one of CGC's most beloved tag teams while Powell has gotten the help of the sadistic Whippy the Clown and the pretty boy Ozzie Golden.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="cvN8LBm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cvN8LBm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cfjkbZz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cfjkbZz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="P7Fu0b6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/P7Fu0b6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Htt8tAH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Htt8tAH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XV24iBK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XV24iBK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="G3LTZU6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/G3LTZU6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p>

<strong>Skip Beau, Intrepid Ian Identity and Drake Young vs The Montreal Mafia and ???</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

And the match that gets to show off some of the young, upcoming talent of CGC. Skip, Ian and Drake have all been dealing with the Montreal Mafia as a pain in their sides as of late. This has lead to the former three finally challenging the Mafia to an Elimination match. While Ian and Skip have worked the tag ranks a bit it is Drake that hasn't seemed too interested in what is going down as he often finds himself taking phone calls and leaving in the middle of planning. The Montreal Mafia seem confident going into Elimination and have promised to have a third man that they will introduce before the match.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I feel it is a good mix that sees the three different aspects of our card. The lower end guys that will be working their way up in the coming months and years to the midcard that is trying to break out and move up to the main event then the big names that will draw eyes to the product. On paper it looks good. Hopefully we can build it properly and it ends up being a good show off paper as well.</p><p> </p><p>

The show starts with Alex DeColt backstage with a smile on his face. As speaks it shows highlights over the years of the man clashes Jack DeColt and Dan DaLay have had.</p><p> </p><p>

Alex: "It is a new year and tonight we see two Canadian Golden Combat legends face off for the world title! For years these two men have fought some of CGC's most brutal battles and tonight they lock up once more with Canada's top title hanging in the balance. Jack DeColt has been worn down with his matches against Gargantuan and the beast known as Dan DaLay looks to capitalize and claim the world title for a fourth time. Get ready for another epic clash! Welcome to...TITLE BOUT WRESTLING!"</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Bobby Thomas vs Antonio Del Veccio</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

These two men match up rather evenly and it shows at the start where both men seem to counter whatever the other tries. ADV's skill impresses Bobby to the point he even offers a handshake, which ADV refuses and the two start to lock up. A hard fought match between the two, but experience wins out in this one. Bobby Thomas scores a win with a Specialists's Touch.</p><p> </p><p>

The trio of Drake Young, Skip Beau and Intrepid Ian Identity are backstage and all smiles as they seem to be talking about their upcoming match at Elimination.</p><p> </p><p>

Ian: "It's cool guys. Skip, you get us a win next week and then at Elimination it won't matter who The Montreal Mafia have as a partner. We can win this."</p><p> </p><p>

Skip: "I feel good about all of this. Time to show everyone what we are made of."</p><p> </p><p>

Drake: "Yeah! And-"</p><p> </p><p>

Drake pauses when his phone starts going off. Skip and Ian both roll there eyes as Drake checks the phone and holds a hand up.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The New Soldiers of Fortune vs The Dirty White Boys</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

No finesse here. It is a brawl and the crowd loves it. Both teams are big, heavy hitters and they knock the hell out of one another. Despite their age The New Soldiers of Fortune manage to isolate Grease Hogg for a bit and gain the advantage. It seems they are set to become the number one contenders when Hogg mounts a comeback and tags in Lead Belly. Destiny gets dumped outside and The DWB hit Fate with the Full Throttle.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Stevie Grayson vs Ozzie Golden</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The action shifts gears again and it goes from a wild brawl to a nice little match against the more speedy wrestlers of CGC. Members of team Dunn and team Powell face off to try and get momentum for their team in a nice, fast paced bout between the two. Ozzie is the one that comes out on top in the end when he rolls through on a roll up attempt and gets one of his own. Though he grabs the tights and the referee doesn't see it as he counts to three.</p><p> </p><p>

We cut to backstage where Jenny Playmate has The Predators with her.</p><p> </p><p>

Jenny: "Earlier tonight you found out who you will face at Elimination. What are your thoughts?"</p><p> </p><p>

Nathan: "Jenny, we won these titles in April last year. We beat Zeus and Stevie who are four time tag team champions. You know how many the Dirty White Boys have? Two."</p><p> </p><p>

Warren: "And it will remain two. They can drink beer and get the fans on their side with their antics, but we aren't impressed. We go out there to prove we are the best in that ring and at Elimination we will do just that."</p><p> </p><p>

Nathan: "Enjoy your win, guys. At Elimination we will break you and make you tap out."</p><p> </p><p>

Things shift to what looks like the DeColt's locker room and Jack is sitting in a chair looking to be psyching himself up with Ricky standing nearby.</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky: "You got this one. You beat Dan tonight and then we take down Dan, Thrill Seeker and Gargantuan at Elimination! Are you sure you don't want me out there, bro?"</p><p> </p><p>

Jack Smirks and he gets up. he just slaps Ricky on the back.</p><p> </p><p>

Jack: "I appreciate it, Ricky, but I got to do this on my own. I got to prove to Dan that I can beat him one on one. I know you won't interfere, but I don't want excuses."</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky: "I am worried that someone else will interfere."</p><p> </p><p>

Jack: "Let them. When that time comes you know what to do."</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Donte Dunn with Hailey Hunter vs Whippy the Clown</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Two more men that will face off at Elimination meet in singles action. Whippy starts off the match by throwing powder in Dunn's face before the bell rings which allows him to start of the match in control. He maintains it for awhile, but Dunn manages to start to make a comeback and use his superior strength to start throwing Whippy about. Whippy ducks a clothesline, but then doesn't get out of the way of the big backfist Donte delivers and knocks the clown out cold.</p><p> </p><p>

Jenny: "At Elimination you defend your title for the first time. On the other side of the ring is Bobby Thomas. Are you confident in-eep!"</p><p> </p><p>

Blockbuster just glares at Jenny who quickly steps back and goes silent. Blockbuster says nothing for a few moments before speaking a few simple words before walking off.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Zeus Maxmillion vs Chucky Dorrance</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Chucky tries to start out by blindsiding Zeus. It is super ineffective because it just makes Zeus mad and he starts to treat Dorrance like a ragdoll. A rather quick match as Zeus makes quick work of Chucky and then poses to the fans.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Joey Poison with Faith vs Shane Nelson</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Joey comes off as very aloof and uncaring about this match, but once Shane takes the fight to him it seems to light a fire in Joey who fights back and starts to take full control of the match. Shane is unable to really do much most of this match and Joey just seems to taking out all his frustrations on Shane before nailing him with the Antidote Web.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jack DeColt © vs Dan DaLay</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

It is almost like the older both men get the more brutal their encounters have become. A match that has happened several times before, but always seems to pull the audience in just because both men give it their all. Jack is a feisty brawler in his own right and he rocks Dan with some big blows, but eventually he runs into a big boot that lets the big man get back in control. Dan beats down Jack with powerful slams and brutal strikes. Despite the punishment Jack continues to kick out and even a DaLay Down doesn't put him away for good. Jack soon starts the trademark DeColt comeback as he starts to rock DaLay and eventually take the big man down. His adrenaline is on high when he delivers End of Days. DaLay kicks out! Jack is stunned, but he quickly delivers End of Days again and this time Dan can't get the energy to kick out.</p><p> </p><p>

Thrill Seeker and Gargantuan hit the ring before Jack gets time to celebrate. The two start to beat the champ down as Dan recovers and starts to join in. Jack tries to fight back, but he is overwhelmed until....</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky DeColt and Christian Price hit the ring and even the odds. Jack starts to fight back and eventually the heels are cleared from the ring. Jack can barely stand and Ricky has to keep him upright as Dan, Seeker and Gargantuan decide to leave instead of get back into the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "I love it. Wear down the champ and beat him down so he won't be fully ready for Elimination."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Heinous act right there and you know it was planned. Still Jack DeColt retains and we are out of time. Tune in and see what happens here next week on Title Bout Wrestling!"</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Tune in and don't be a nerd!"</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Notes</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

- CGC has offered the following talents written contracts: Ricky DeColt, Gargantuan, Donte Dunn, Thrill Seeker, Christian Price, Jenny Playmate, Davis Ditterich, Francis Long and Adrian Garcia. Out of those listed all but Jenny Playmate and Ricky DeColt have signed.</p><p> </p><p>

- A total of six new contracts have been offered to new talents. None are expected to debut until after Elimination if signed.</p><p> </p><p>

- Antonio Del Veccio and Donte Dunn have become good friends. Some say Dan DaLay is behind this by encouraging the two young wrestlers that having a friend to watch your back in the business is a good thing to have.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Title Bout Wrestling</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

It is the final episode of Title Bout Wrestling before Elimination and there are several matches that have teams trying to gain momentum going into the big show. Also after the vicious attack at the end of last week Jack DeColt will not be wrestling, but shall be in attendance.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="DcuAGmV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DcuAGmV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="acW5yLt.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/acW5yLt.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Htt8tAH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Htt8tAH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vkgrHBz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vkgrHBz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="luBdDEc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/luBdDEc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

If not for Ricky DeColt and Christian Price it is safe to assume Jack DeColt would not be in any shape to wrestle at Elimination. Even now his status called into question. Ricky and Christian look to get some form of revenge as they face off against two of the men that attacked Jack and also two members of the opposing team at Elimination in Thrill Seeker and Gargantuan. Will the two get revenge or will they fall to the might of Gargantuan and the speed of Thrill Seeker?</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="4JtfGhW.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4JtfGhW.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Htt8tAH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Htt8tAH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="USZHfjp.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/USZHfjp.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Team captains collide as each one tries to get a win and hopefully rally his fellow team mates. Donte Dunn hasn't had the best of luck since losing the CGC Canadian title, but a victory against Whippy the Clown last week has to give him some confidence as he takes on the man that has been insulting Dunn for weeks now, Ryan Powell.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="n6Wj7TA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/n6Wj7TA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="WKWZYXR.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WKWZYXR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Htt8tAH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Htt8tAH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="YcP7EfL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/YcP7EfL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="AHBg2FK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/AHBg2FK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

While we will see these two teams face off at Elimination for the World Tag Team championship we will see two separate singles bouts featuring the four competitors. Grease Hogg will take on Nathan Black while Lead Belly will take on Warren Technique.</p><p> </p><p>

That isn't all! There is much more excitement in store as we go into the final show before Elimination. Tune in for Title Bout Wrestling!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Title Bout Wrestling</strong></p><p>

Sunday, Week 2 January 2016</p><p>

British Columbia Canada, 3,600 in Attendance</p><p> </p><p>

The show starts with Alex DeColt backstage with a more serious expression than usual when opening the show.</p><p> </p><p>

Alex: "While I was pleased with the main event itself last week there is no excuse for what happened afterwards. With that being said Ricky DeColt and Christian Price will get a shot at some payback when they face Gargantuan and Thrill Seeker later on. This is a mometum changer and I am sure the winner's will feel confident going into Friday's Elimination showdown. Of course we have much more action planned so stay tuned. This is TITLE BOUT WRESTLING!"</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Welcome everyone to Title Bout Wrestling! We are one week away from Elimination and boy is that going to be one explosive show."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "I miss the days my Elite boys would take down the DeColts at Elimination. I hope this year Dan, Thrill Seeker and Gargantuan can do it."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "If I remember correctly you were almost always on the losing end."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Shut it, Ditterich. We got a show to do and I won't let you sass me."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Whatever! Let's go to the ring for the first match of the night!"</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Marc Raisen vs Skip Beau</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

They will be on opposite teams at Elimination, but these two face off in singles action tonight. Skip has the benefit of a rather big size advantage and he uses it to his advantage. Marc tries to get in offense, but he is often instead being tossed around by Skip. Marc starts to target a leg and has some luck with that approach, but the power game is too much and Skip eventually just plants Marc on the mat with a Flow Down.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Skip Beau</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">

Rating: 44</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "A good win for Skip there. That has to be a confidence builder for him and his team."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "But the Montreal Mafia still have the surprise of not showing who their third member will be. Hard to plan around that."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "I look forward to it. I have been thinking on that for awhile and I wonder if it is a new mafia member or something else."</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="DOFX3rI.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DOFX3rI.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

Thrill Seeker is shown wandering about backstage where he enters a room that contains Gargantuan. The monster is lifting an insane amount of weights with ease as he pauses and idle tosses things to the side before looking to his partner for the night with a sneer.</p><p> </p><p>

Seeker: "You don't need to say anything, big guy. We both know what needs to be done. Take out Ricky and Christian and leave them too battered to compete. Time to use that freakish strength of yours."</p><p> </p><p>

Gargantuan: "Don't....call....me....a FREAK."</p><p> </p><p>

Seeker steps back quickly and holds up his hands.</p><p> </p><p>

Seeker: "Of course. Just be prepared. Time to ruin their good looks."</p><p> </p><p>

Seeker leaves and Gargantuan just glares for a moment before resuming his weight lifting.</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Thrill Seeker better be careful with his words. I know Gargantuan pretty well. He is an uncontrollable monster."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Is that why he was never in Elite."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Trust me. I value my sanity and life too much to have EVER brought him into Elite."</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="DOFX3rI.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DOFX3rI.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

<strong>Grease Hogg vs Nathan Black</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Much like the last match there is a rather big size differential, but Nathan Black is a veteran and has found ways to take down a big man with his technical prowess. He does just that in the early stages of the match where he keeps Grease Hogg tied up in various holds as he tries to wear him down. Hogg starts to show his power though as he eventually breaks free and starts to pound on Black. Black thinks he sees an opening and goes for it, but instead he gets a bit elbow to the back of the head for his troubles. Grease Hogg hefts him up and delivers the Grease Spot and picks up a victory.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Grease Hogg</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">

Rating: 51</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Score one for the challengers."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "For tonight at least. We still got Warren Technique and Lead Belly later. Even if the champs lose that one too it is a whole different game on Friday."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Very true. Both teams work well together though so it should be an exciting match no matter what."</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="DOFX3rI.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DOFX3rI.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

The trio of Drake Young, Skip Beau and Ian Identity are celebrating Skip's win with big smiles on their faces.</p><p> </p><p>

Ian: "Atta boy, skip. I don't care who their partner is. They know they can't beat us."</p><p> </p><p>

Skip: "He is tougher than he looks, but hey. I can beat him again and then we just got two others to worry about, right?"</p><p> </p><p>

Ian: "Yeah! Come on. Lets go get a celebratory snack!"</p><p> </p><p>

Drake: "Yeah uh, you guys do that and I'll catch up. I got a phone call to make."</p><p> </p><p>

Drake pulls his phone out and quickly scuttles off leaving Skip and Ian looking to one another somewhat perplexed. They shrug and head off in a different direction.</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "You know at this point I hope the mafia somehow got someone like Alex DeColt as their team mate just to crush those nerds."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "....wow. You really don't like them if you want that to happen."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Maybe just a little."</p><p> </p><p>

Somewhere else in the back Jenny Playmate has caught up with Jack DeColt.</p><p> </p><p>

Jenny: "An excellent and hard fought win, Jack, but afterwards you took quite a beating before your brother and Christian Price made the save. How are you feeling going into Elimination."</p><p> </p><p>

Jack: "I have been in a lot of pain over the years. I admit the past few months I have taken quite the beating, but I am still standing and as long as I am standing I will keep fighting. I am watching the main event closely tonight. If Dan DaLay decides to get involved I will make him regret it."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Hopefully we won't have to worry about that. I want to see a good match without interference."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Gargantuan and Thrill Seeker don't need help. They got this in the bag, but Dan is going to be a team mate so he will watch their back."</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Donte Dunn with Hailey Hunter vs Ryan Powell</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Team leaders clash before the big match on Friday in a pretty even match. Donte has the power, but Powell is a veteran and has several tricks up his sleeves. Not many of them are legal mind you, but they are effective at keeping Dunn on his toes and letting Powell get in a good amount of offence. Donte starts to wise up to the game Powell is playing though and begins to get some momentum going. Powell looks to be in trouble when he tusses with Dunn and gets the referee distracted as they sort of bump into Francis Long. Long isn't out, but he is dazed enough that Powell low blows Dunne and he connects with the Star Treatment to win the match.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Ryan Powell</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">

Adrian: "Nice win! Powell is a leader everyone can be proud of."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Well now I see where Ozzie got his cheating ways from. I hope all this cheating backfires at Elimination."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "With the team Powell has assembled I think they can win even without cheating."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Hah! We'll see!"</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lead Belly vs Warren Technique</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

It is almost a mirror match of Hogg and Black from earlier. Lead Belly is just so much bigger and powerful that Technique has to play it cool and pick his spots. What he does do well is make Lead Belly chase him around and the result is the big man getting worn down so Technique can start picking him apart. It is a tough task, but Technique manages to get Lead Belly down in the middle of the ring. He locks in the STF and Lead Belly tries to power out, but ends up having to tap out after a few failures to break free.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Warren Technique</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">

Davis: "A good plan and ground game gives one half of the tag team champs the win."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Power is good and all, but it doesn't mean a lick if you don't got brains to go with the brawn. That is why I think The Predators will retain."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "They have been dominant for several months so it is not out of the realm of possibility, but I think the Dirty White Boys are going to give them a good run for their money."</p><p> </p><p>

Christian Price is shown backstage taping up his hands when Ricky DeColt walks up. Price just grins as he slams a fist into his palm and turns to the youngest DeColt.</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky: "Just making sure you are ready. This isn't going to be an easy one, but we got this."</p><p> </p><p>

Christian: "I rather get my hands on DaLay, but tonight these two will do. *Pause* ....hey, Ricky? What do we really do about Gargantuan?"</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky just gives a big smile.</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky: "Do what my brother has done. Throw everything we got at him until he stops coming at us. You ready?"</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky holds his fist out and Christian gives it a bump.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Chucky Dorrance vs Bobby Thomas</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Chucky just doesn't seem lucky so far this year. First he got Zeus and now he faces off with Bobby Thomas. To be fair Chucky manages to get a bit more offense this time around, but Bobby Thomas is quick to turn things around. He is just so smooth in the ring and he quickly dispatches Chucky by making him tap out to the Specialist Touch.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Winner: Bobby Thomas</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong> </strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>

Not that he gets a chance to celebrate. Blockbuster enters the ring as Bobby is getting up. He attacks the veteran from behind and just beats him down and lays him out with a Buster Bomb.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Zeus Maxmillion vs Brett Fraser</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

A big, hard hitting match between two of CGC's toughest. Both men rock one another with their biggest strikes to see who comes out on top. It almost seems like a stalemate for awhile until Zeus ducks a big swing and hefts up Fraser over his head in an impressive feat of strength before dropping the big brawler to the mat. He quickly locks on the Olympian Clutch and Bret taps out.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ricky DeColt and Christian Price vs Thrill Seeker and Gargantuan</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

No love lost between these two sides and it is also a completely different match when Gargantuan gets involved. Ricky and Christian can seem to do little to the monster and they have to do their best to try and focus on Thrill Seeker when he is in the ring. That is easier said than done because it isn't like Thrill Seeker is exactly a pushover himself. Price takes a majority of the beating on his side and he eventually takes down Seeker with a big lariat before making it to Ricky and tagging him in....or at least he tries. Francis Long is trying to keep Gargantuan from getting in the ring when Dan DaLay pulls Ricky off the apron and throws him into the steps. Seeker makes a tag and Gargantuan comes in to finish off the already hurting Christian Price with a choke slam.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winners: Thrill Seeker and Gargantuan</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">

Jack comes running down to try and save his brother and Christian from any further punishment, but the numbers game is too much. He is fighting with Dan on the outside when Gargantuan comes up and attacks from behind. Ultimate Backbreaker to Jack from Gargantuan followed by a DaLay Down. Thrill Seeker has fully recovered when the two bigger men join him in the ring and they all raise hands in victory.</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "I can't believe it! Both Jack and Ricky DeColt along with Christian Price are all laid out. Is this going to be what happens on Friday?!"</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "You act as if those three will somehow make it to Friday. Did you see what just happened to Jack? He has taken too much punishment. Oh I love this! This is rich! This is...DELICIOUS!"</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "You are a sick man. We are out of time! Don't miss Elimination this Friday!"</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Elimination</strong></p><p>

Friday, Week 3 January 2016</p><p>

Quebec Canada, 9,130 in Attendance</p><p> </p><p>

Several highlights play of the various main events from Elimination over the years.</p><p> </p><p>

Alex: "Brothers in arms. We Decolts have done our best to put a stop to whatever evil was threatening CGC. Be it the likes of The Elite or some other force we stood tall and overcame the odds. Tonight another war is about to be waged and this time I cannot help my brothers. It is time for others to step up. Tonight my brothers Jack and Ricky team up with Christian Price against a deadly force. Can the heroes stand tall once again or is this the start of a dark furture? This is....Elimination."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "We are live in Quebec as we welcome you all to Elimination! I am sure you have a fondness for this show, Adrian."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Hated it. Every year the damn DeColts just seemed to ruin things. This year will be different at least! Mark my words finally they are going to get what is coming to them."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "It is going to be one crazy main event. That much we can agree on. We also have two titles as we see both the World Tag Team as well as the Canadian title on the line."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Blockbuster continues his path of destruction while I honestly don't know who to pick in the tag match."</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Predators © vs The Dirty White Boys</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

A good opening match to get the crowd going with a contest seeing power and brawling go up against the more technical minded champions. DWB use their size and strength advantage at the start to puts the champs in trouble early on, but once they manage to finally get an upper hand and isolate Grease Hogg they start to use quick tags and submission holds to keep the bigger man grounded. Hogg comes close to being pinned and submitted only for Lead Belly to get in there and save his partner, though that allows some double teams behind the ref's back. </p><p> </p><p>

Hogg finally powers his way free with a burst of adrenaline and makes the tag to his partner. Lead Belly comes roaring in with several big hits as the champs lose control of the match. Hogg recovers and it looks like DWB are going to win when they set up Nathan for the Full Throttle, but Warren Technique chop blocks Lead Belly's leg and sends him down. The champs quickly toss Grease Hogg outside and Lead Belly gets taken out with an assisted lung blower by the champs.</p><p> </p><p>

Drake Young, Ian Identity and Skip Beau are in back staring at a television and the fact Prometheus is going to be their opponent tonight along with the Montreal Mafia. Ian is the first to shake off the fear.</p><p> </p><p>

Ian: "Okay okay. So we didn't expect that, but we can do it!"</p><p> </p><p>

Skip: "Are you nuts? I have been in the ring with him before! He is going to kill us!"</p><p> </p><p>

And while I and Skip are talking Drake can be seen slowly inching away and eventually off camera.</p><p> </p><p>

Ian: "We got it. Just stay positive, Skip. And there is three of us. We can chop him down. Right, Drake? Drake?"</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Prometheus and The Montreal Mafia vs Intrepid Ian Identity and Skip Beau</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The Montreal Mafia already looked confident. Now their ego's just got an even bigger boost seeing they have a one man advantage. The problem is they are already celebrating when they should be paying attention. Ian thinks fast and pushes Dermont Ayers into Marc Raisen and rolls the former up for a quick pin and instantly improves their chances.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Dermont Ayers</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

There is little time to celebrate because Prometheus comes in and just starts to toss Ian about. Ian tries to fight back and get to his bigger partner, but there is little he can do. Prometheus is slow and plodding, but he is just too big and can't be stopped. He delivers a big overhand God Chop to Ian and puts a big foot on top of the fallen Ian.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Intrepid Ian Identity</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Skip looks timid as he gets in the ring, but then throws caution to the wind and tries to take down the giant. He is having a bit better luck than Ian, but he is still outsized and outmatched. Prometheus looks like he has this won when Marc Raisen decides to tag himself in. The monster doesn't look happy and Marc looks to steal the glory for his team.....only to get rolled up a few moments later.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Marc Raisen</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Raisen is irate, but is ushered to the back while Prometheus is left with Skip Beau. Skip batters at the giant and has him rocking. He delivers a bit shoulder that almost takes Prometheus down. He goes for another only for a huge boot to come up and hit him in the face. Prometheus tosses Skip about for a bit of extra measure before delivering another one of his might God Chops.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Skip Beau</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "I expected a more one sided affair, but it seems like The Montreal Mafia aren't as smart as I thought."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "They were both eliminated, but in the end they are still technically winners. That said a good effort from both Ian and Skip since they started out a man down. Prometheus is just too much to handle."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "And what is next for the giant?"</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "I can only imagine one thing. Destruction."</p><p> </p><p>

We shift to back stage where Jenny Playmate has the tag team champions with her.</p><p> </p><p>

Jenny: "A hard fought victory tonight and despite being winners...you both don't seem to be celebrating."</p><p> </p><p>

Warren: "Jenny, we just got the hell beat out of us and we know that isn't the last time. We aren't celebrating because we have targets on our backs as long as we hold these titles."</p><p> </p><p>

Nathan: "And we don't care if it is the Dirty White Boys, The Montreal Mafia, The New Soldiers of Fortune or anyone else. We will take them all on and they will find out they are not good enough to beat The Predators."</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Shane Nelson vs Antonio Del Veccio</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

A very good singles match with both men going all out to excite the crowd. An even affair where each man takes turns being in control and getting to showcase what they can do. There is one point where Shane drops ADV awkwardly and it looks like ADV is in obvious pain when the referee checks on him. ADV waves the referee off, but he seems to be fighting through pain the rest of the match. Even though he is hurt ADV does pull off the win when he nails Shane with an Italian DDT.</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Hopefully it isn't too bad. I never cared much for his attitude, but he is a great talent."</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Blockbuster © vs Bobby Thomas</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

A match marred by the fact the two wrestlers just don't seem to work well together. Bobby already had a tough hill to climb trying to keep the match together to begin with, but bad timing just really causes the match to suffer. Bobby is overpowered often, but his experience as well as technical ability does allow him to almost put the champ away a few times. Blockbuster manages to weather the storm and eventually he just gets Bobby in a corner and starts beating on him with stiff shots before hefting Bobby up and planting him in the center of the ring with a Buster Bomb.</p><p> </p><p>

Hailey: "Come on, guys! You all can do this! I believe in you!"</p><p> </p><p>

Donte: "I still appreciate the help you two. Ryan has been such a pain and it will be nice to put him in his place."</p><p> </p><p>

Stevie: "Hey! I always got your back! Besides I owe Ozzie some payback from a few weeks ago."</p><p> </p><p>

Zeus: "HRRRRRRGH! And they got a clown! I HATE CLOWNS! With these muscles we will ride to victory!"</p><p> </p><p>

Donte looks to Stevie who just gives a shrug and a grin. Donte manages a smile and claps his hands together.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Donte Dunn and Zeus & Stevie with Hailey Hunter vs Ryan Powell, Whippy the Clown and Ozzie Golden</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Fast paced and a lot of quick tags see both teams vie for control in the early parts of the match with neither side finding a way to get the upper hand. That is until Ryan's team decides to start cheating. They use their numbers as an advantage to distract the referee and run interference. It leads to them getting a man advantage when once again Ozzie gets the better of Stevie by pinning him with a handful of tights.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Stevie Grayson</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Zeus isn't happy about that and starts to go on a rampage. Ryan and Whippy try to help Ozzie out and eat a big suplex each in response. The heels try to recover and Ozzie tags out to Whippy much to the latter's dismay. He does gain control over Zeus at first, but them the Greek God gets a burst of adrenaline and starts to suplex the clown about and lands a Thunder Bolt.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Whippy the Clown</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Things are evened back up for some time with Donte and Zeus seemingly in control. More distractions ensue though and while Zeus looks ready to put Ozzie away he gets thumbed in the eye. Zeus staggers back towards Powell while the referee admonishes Ozzie. Powell pulls something from his tights and nails Zeus in the back of the head with it before tossing the object away. Zeus is out cold and Ozzie quickly pins him.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Zeus Maxmillion</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Donte is left with just Hailey in his corner to cheer him on. He falls victim to double teams early on and it looks like both Ozzie and Ryan have this one in hand. They duo get too cocky and start to showboat too much. Ryan tags in Ozzie and holds up Donte as Ozzie lines him up. He goes for a big dropkick, but Donte moves and Powell eats it instead. Ozzie then gets hefted up and slammed down by a Sunny Daze from Dunne.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Ozzie Golden</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

The captains are left and Donte starts to roll on Ryan Powell who tried to beg for mercy. Things are not going well for Powell who in desperation rolls to the outside and looks for the object he earlier discard. It ends up being a set of brass knucks that he tries to hide and use, but Donte takes them off. Francis Long sees Donte with the knucks and rips them away. Ryan hits a low blow on Donte while Long looks to dispose of the foreign object and follows up with a Star Treatment</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Can it, Ditterich. You just hate that Ryan Powell and his group are smarter than your little group of favorites."</p><p> </p><p>

Cut to backstage where Jenny Playmate chases down Blockbuster.</p><p> </p><p>

Jenny: "Blockbuster! Just a moment of..."</p><p> </p><p>

She trails off when the big man turns about and just glares at her. He holds his free hand out as the other is holding his title. She hands him the microphone and quickly scurries away.</p><p> </p><p>

Blockbuster: "I'll break everyone like I broke Bobby Thomas. This is my title forever."</p><p> </p><p>

He tosses the microphone away and stalks off.</p><p> </p><p>

Things shift to backstage again as it shows what the DeColt Brothers and Christian Price are doing. Price is tapings his fists while humming to himself. He seems nervous, but doing his best to stay focused. Ricky is shown doing some shadow boxing along with last minute stretches. Jack is gazing at his title and looking lost in thought. Eventually he rises and goes to walk off. In the back a figure stands in the shadows apparently watching the champ, but cannot be fully made out.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jack & Ricky DeColt and Christian Price vs Dan DaLay, Gargantuan and Thrill Seeker</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

It starts off hard hitting and brutal as all the men brawl in the ring. Eventually the dust settles and things start off properly with Ricky and Thrill Seeker going at it. Both teams look good as they work well together. Things just start to go bad for the DeColts and Price when Gargantuan finally comes in. He is dominant and is taking apart Price before he even pulls Jack in and starts to beat on him. Ricky comes in to try and make the save, but gets slammed for trying to interfere. Francis Long tries to get Gargantuan under control, but he gets shoved away for trying to do so. The bell rings and Gargantuan is disqualifed.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Gargantuan</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

He continues his assault until additional staff come in and manage to pull him away. All three men on the opposite team are laid out and despite being up three to two they look to be in trouble. Seeker and DaLay look to continue the punishment, but in time the DeColts and Price start to recover. Dan and Ricky fall out of the ring while making a brutal exchange of strikes and they seem oblivious to the count. DaLay finally takes down Ricky, but is a step too late to get back in the ring. Both men get counted out.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Ricky DeColt and Dan DaLay</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

An irate DaLay just starts to attack Ricky and Jack goes to make the save only to get clobbered as well. Thrill Seeker tries to capitalize on the carnage and he does so by attacking a distracted Price from behind. He pulls Price into the ring and plants him with a big DDT and quickly follows up with a Daredevil Drop.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Christian Price</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

It is a weakened Jack DeColt against a very fresh Thrill Seeker who starts to assault the champ. He comes so close to pinning Jack a few times and frustration mounts. Daredevil Drop and a cover! Jack kicks out at the last possible second! Seeker goes for a second one, but Jack somehow finds the energy to get free and pick up Thrill Seeker instead. END OF DAYS BY JACK! He gets the cover and Jack survives by the skin of his teeth.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Eliminated: Thrill Seeker</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Oh come on! How!?"</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Jack DeColt shows why he is the champ. Despite all the punishment he still stands."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "I can't believe this. They were so close!"</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "A great show and a great end to it all! We'll see you this Sunday at Title Bout Wrestling!"</p><p> </p><p>

Jack is celebrating in the ring and barely able to stand as he holds his arms up high. Then quickly someone slips in from behind and slams a chair into Jack's back causing him to crumple to the ground.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="E7DyVCh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/E7DyVCh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ARZubTt.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ARZubTt.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Joey Poison stands over the champ with a glare of contempt. He then just starts laying into the champ over and over until Faith runs down and gets between Joey and Jack. She is in tears pleading for Joey to stop as referees try to check on the champ. Joey just backs away and his gaze never seems to move away from Jack though. He discards the chair and finally leaves.</p><p> </p><p>

Alex: "So.....Joey, huh?"</p><p> </p><p>

Dan: "You sound like you have a problem with that."</p><p> </p><p>

I had started helping Alex out in December. Most of the buildup for Elimination as well as execution was pretty much all on me. I just had to keep to a few of Alex's whims. Nothing too horrible in this case other than he wanted Jack to overcome the odds once again. That is the problem about Elimination. DeColts always win.</p><p> </p><p>

Alex: "I think we still had legs with Gargantuan."</p><p> </p><p>

Dan: "Are you wanting your brother to be killed in the ring?"</p><p> </p><p>

He was not amused by the comment. At the same time I don't feel like it to be a lie. Gargantuan has been protected a lot, but also hasn't really improved in some areas. Poor jack has been taking a good beating for a few months now.</p><p> </p><p>

Alex: "Joey just doesn't seem like a great option."</p><p> </p><p>

Dan: "Then where do we go? Gargantuan needs to move on. Ricky and Lee are still busy with their best of seven, I am still wrapped up with Price and I think people aren't wanting to see Dan vs Jack for the long term again. Then we got Powell who is unreliable and also in a feud with Donte. Whippy? If a clown can be a viable threat to Jack then Joey sure as hell can. Antonio is injured for the time being and even then I am sure you don't think he is ready. What do we do then? Turn Zeus? We are already short on faces to begin with."</p><p> </p><p>

Alex just remains silent once more. He seems almost a bit lost in thought and he eventually slowly nods.</p><p> </p><p>

Alex: "Valid points. What do you plan to do with Gargantuan?"</p><p> </p><p>

Dan: "That.....I am working on. Just trust me and see how this plays out."</p><p> </p><p>

Alex: "I will for now. When are the new signings going to start to show."</p><p> </p><p>

Dan: "Over the next month. Some are set for tomorrow. By Luck of the Draw they should all be debuted."</p><p> </p><p>

Alex: "Very well....and Dan. I really do mean it when I say good luck."</p><p> </p><p>

Dan: "I know. I won't let you down."</p><p> </p><p>

Title Bout Wrestling returns just two days after Elimination. With Elimination in the books we look towards Luck of the Draw as well as the fallout of what happened after Elimination.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="E7DyVCh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/E7DyVCh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Jack DeColt may have been the victor at Elimination's main event as the sole survivor, but Joey Poison soon made his presence known and took out the champ with several brutal chair shots. Jack is in bad enough shape to where he is not physically going to make it, but we will have an interview with him live via satellite to see how he is doing. As for Joey? There is rumblings Alex DeColt is going to want an explanation for such dastardly actions.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="DcuAGmV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DcuAGmV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Htt8tAH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Htt8tAH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="luBdDEc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/luBdDEc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The best of seven series continues as Ricky DeColt and Thrill Seeker both sit at one win. Match three will be the main event this Sunday. Thrill Seeker is coming off a impressive performance at Elimination, but Ricky DeColt is looking to bounce back and take the lead in the series.</p><p> </p><p>

All this plus much more! Tune in and check out all the action that is Title Bout Wrestling!"</p><p> </p><p>

Finally got the chance to read this. I think Poison is a fine choice to take on Jack, he isn't over enough yet, but a few wins over the likes of Price and maybe Ricky could propel him. Personally, until this iteration of the C-Verse, I always thought CGC were happy to keep the Elite over as foils for the DeColts but with Alex out of the ring now, most of the Elite stallwarts gone and everybody else being a midcarder for so long, I can see why Alex would see guys like Poison as not ready. It's cool to see Dan in a place of power and pushing other people as he always seemed to be the CGC heel John Cena and "I'll do whatever you want me to do" to the man in charge so I feel he probably was the one that got Price over and will get Dunn over in due time in terms of canon, but here he gets to put the people who he wants to or who he feels is the best option. It's incredibly interesting.

Davis: "We are just two days removed from Elimination and what a night it was."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "It didn't end the way I wanted it, but I will take what I can get. Blockbuster and the Predators are still champs and last night I gained a lot of respect for Joey Poison."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "You are a sick man. Due to Joey Poison's actions Jack DeColt is at home resting up, but we will have an interview with him live later on."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "He's a coward is all. I have to say at least Ricky showed up to wrestle unlike his brother."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Ricky DeColt is indeed here to wrestle tonight and he faces off with Thrill seeker in their third match of the best of seven series tonight."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Impressive showing from Thrill Seeker at Elimination. Now is the time to strike while the iron is hot and take that lead."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "All that and more, but for now we go to ringside with a rare in person appearance of Alex DeColt!"</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="DOFX3rI.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DOFX3rI.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

Alex DeColt stands in the center of the ring. His look serious and the suit he wears looking immaculate right now. He waits for the crowd to quiet down before talking in a low, serious tone.</p><p> </p><p>

Alex: "What I saw at the end of Elimination was without a doubt the act of a coward. What I would like right now is Joey to come out and explain himself and give me a reason not to suspend him."</p><p> </p><p>

Alex looks towards the entrance ramp and waits patiently. Joey never comes out, but eventually his voice can be heard.</p><p> </p><p>

Joey: "Hey, hey! I am over here."</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="E7DyVCh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/E7DyVCh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

In the upper parts of the arena stands Joey. He has just the slightest bit of smirk as he looks downwards at the ring and where Alex stands.</p><p> </p><p>

Joey: "Explain myself? Is that what you want? Well sit down, Alex because I can explain all night." He pauses a moment. "But I won't. See I will keep this simple. I don't hate Jack. I don't even hate you really. What I hate is the fact is this fake aura you have built up around the DeColt name. That you guys can do no wrong and are the triumphing heroes!"</p><p> </p><p>

Joey steps down towards the railing and leans on it some with one arm and holds the mic with his free hand.</p><p> </p><p>

Joey: "You know I have played the good guy, Alex. I tried to do things the right way and get noticed. To get those title shots and to even perhaps team with the 'legendary' DeColt brothers. What did I get? Always a pat on the back and a 'Good job!'. Maybe even a shot at the Canadian title, but when all I really wanted was just one...ONE SHOT at the World title. I was overlooked. I kept getting overlooked. I wasn't even on the Elimination card!"</p><p> </p><p>

Alex looks ready to reply, but Joey raises his voice.</p><p> </p><p>

Joey: "I'm not finished! Alex, suspend me if you want, but that just shows you are the coward, not me. I am tired of playing the good guy. I want Jack DeColt and I want him at Luck of the Draw. I want my shot and I will show you just why it was a bad idea to overlook me."</p><p> </p><p>

Alex is glaring daggers at Joey, but he remains composed and after a few moments silence he speaks.</p><p> </p><p>

Alex: "I will not suspend you. I will also not give you that match. You will wrestle tonight and you say you don't want to be overlooked? Then win and show me you deserve a shot."</p><p> </p><p>

Joey just shakes his head.</p><p> </p><p>

Joey: "More games, but I'll play along this time. I am going to get what I want finally and nothing is going to keep me from it."</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Rating: 69</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "I am at a loss for words."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Joey Poison has finally seen the light! It is about time and I think this is the best thing I have heard in ages."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "You're hate for the DeColts is well documented, but I always thought Joey respected them."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Maybe he did, but did they ever respect him? Right now it looks like he is going to make them learn respect."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "This is crazy. I want to talk about it more, but we got a match."</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Shane Nelson vs Ozzie Golden vs Brett Fraser vs Stevie Grayson</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Before the contest begins it is announced the winner will get a shot at Blockbuster's CGC Canadian championship. Brett sees an early advantage as being the biggest man in the ring and he clears house. The others soon realize they are going to have to team up on him and take him down which they do. It comes a bit of a fast paced match when Brett isn't involved as the three smaller competitors break out some fancy moves to get the crowd going. Ozzie goes tumbling to the outside at one point and Stevie dives out to wipe both men out leaving Shane and Brett in the ring. Brett swings and misses a few times and Shane capitalizes with his own offense and eventually lands the Clash of Styles to pick up the victory.</p><p> </p><p>

Things shift to backstage where Jenny Playmate and Antonio Del Veccio are watching Shane Nelson celebrate in the ring on a television.</p><p> </p><p>

Jenny: "Antonio, word has it your win last night was going to make you the number one contender for the Canadian title. Is there any truth to that?"</p><p> </p><p>

ADV: "It was very true, but last night I suffered an injury, Jenny. One that will keep me out for awhile. It is even more frustrating because the man that injured me and the man I beat is now going to get that match with Blockbuster."</p><p> </p><p>

Jenny: "I am sorry to hear about the injury. Is there any timetable to return?"</p><p> </p><p>

ADV: "I don't know for sure. I am going to hit the gym and rehab and when I come back I don't care who has the title. Be it Shane or Blockbuster or whoever. I am going to get the shot I deserve and I will make the most of it."</p><p> </p><p>

Somewhere else backstage Ian Identity and Skip Beau are standing about shaking their head.</p><p> </p><p>

Ian: "Nowhere to be found. I can't believe he just ran off like that and now he doesn't seem to be in the arena."</p><p> </p><p>

Skip: "Do you think he is okay? Do you think he ditched us on purpose?"</p><p> </p><p>

Ian: "I'd hate to think it, but....I mean he was with us until he saw Prometheus."</p><p> </p><p>

Skip: "Yeah.....I kind of want to suplex him."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Yeah I will avoid them both instead of trying to find out the answer to that one."</p><p> </p><p>

The Dirty White Boys are sitting at a table somewhere in the back. They are probably drinking beers, but the bottles are positioned to where you can't really make out what it is. Maybe it is ginger ale!</p><p> </p><p>

Grease Hogg: "I can't believe we lost."</p><p> </p><p>

Lead Belly: "Yeup."</p><p> </p><p>

Grease Hogg: "For small guys they are pretty tough."</p><p> </p><p>

Lead Belly: "Yeup."</p><p> </p><p>

Grease Hogg: "Hey, want to beat some guys up and get another shot at the champs?"</p><p> </p><p>

Lead Belly: "Big yeup!"</p><p> </p><p>

The two get up and stalk off to cause some trouble.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ryan Powell vs Bobby Thomas</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Ryan looks to continue his cheating ways, but Bobby is both a veteran and has done some cheating himself in the past so it isn't so easy this time around. A good, solid match between the two veterans that have plenty of back and forth. The world might be ending as well because Powell doesn't cheat in order to get the upper hand and eventually get the win with the Star Treatment.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Ryan Powell</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">

After the match Powell asks for a microphone and puts on the smuggiest of smug looks.</p><p> </p><p>

Ryan: "What you see in this ring is a winner. A guy that knows how to get the job done. Donte Dunn could learn a lot from me. Instead you keep facing me and you keep losing. Face it, Donte. You can't beat me and if you really want to try again you know what the result will be."</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Rating: 52</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "I hate to admit it. Even if several wins are questionable Ryan Powell won fair and square that time and he has been on a roll."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Donte should watch and learn. Maybe if he asks nicely Powell will even give him some tips."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "You mean show him how to cheat."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Stop twisting my words, Ditterich."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Oh boy."</p><p> </p><p>

Donte Dunn and Hailey Hunter are backstage. A TV can be seen so they must have been watching Ryan's match and following comments.</p><p> </p><p>

Donte: "I don't know what to do, Hailey. I am no cheater. I don't want to go down that path, but I don't know what to do."</p><p> </p><p>

Hailey is about to respond, but suddenly the lights dim a bit and some funky music starts to play.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="uYUjhXQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/uYUjhXQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="t1qEO01.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/t1qEO01.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Two smooth looking, funky brothers walk onto the screen.</p><p> </p><p>

Funky Man in the Hat: "Oh brotha, I know what what your problem is and I have the remedy. It isn't learning to cheat."</p><p> </p><p>

Donte: "Uh....who are you guys? Where did you come from and what is with the lights and music?"</p><p> </p><p>

Funky Man in the Hat: "I am Professor Funk and this here is my assistant, the Funky Fro."</p><p> </p><p>

Funky Fro just grins and he is moving along to the beat while letting the professor speak.</p><p> </p><p>

Funk: "You see you can beat Ryan Powell and I know what must be done. Fro? It is time to take take this man to the School of Funk."</p><p> </p><p>

Professor Funk and Funky Fro take Donte by the arms are start to lead him away.</p><p> </p><p>

Hailey: "Hey wait! I'm his manager!"</p><p> </p><p>

Funk: "Sorry baby, but we must take him to school. Good luck finding someone else though!"</p><p> </p><p>

Hailey: "Ooooooh! NOT FAIR!"</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Montreal Mafia vs Identity Skip</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Something of a rematch from Elimination minus the giant. The mafia are a bit less cocky now and take this match more seriously. Both young teams are trying their best to impress and get the win and it seems Identity Skip start might just win this one and get some form of revenge.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="P7Fu0b6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/P7Fu0b6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p>

<span style="font-size:8px;"><em>"Doh ho ho"</em></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

That is until Drake Young shows up and distracts the pair. It is all the Montreal Mafia need to take advantage of the match. Skip is knocked off the apron then deliver The Hit on Ian to pick up the win. In the meantime Drake just points at Skip to laugh at him before fleeing.</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Oh he didn't do a thing. He just wanted to get a closer look and Ian and Skip were too dumb to ignore him."</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Yeah right. I am sure if they tried he would have done something. Okay, folks, it seems we got Jack linked up and we are going to have a talk with him."</p><p> </p><p>

Jack DeColt seems to be resting on a couch in the comfort of his own home. He looks worse for wear some bruises can be seen where the chair was laid into him.</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "Hey, Jack. How are you feeling?"</p><p> </p><p>

Jack: "I won't lie. I haven't felt this bad in a long while. Elimination was no cake walk and obviously Joey Poison decided to play musical chairs with my body."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Yeah, well maybe if you didn't ignore him for so long he wouldn't have done it."</p><p> </p><p>

Jack: "I never ignored Joey Poison. He wanted a shot at this title all he had to do is ask. I am a man, Adrian. A man that will take on any challenge. Did I back down from Gargantuan? Did I back down from Dan DaLay?"</p><p> </p><p>

Davis: "With that being said will you take on Joey Poison at Luck of the Draw."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Or are you going to say you are too hurt to compete?"</p><p> </p><p>

Jack: "You never change, Adrian. As for Joey? Hell yes I will take him on at Luck of the Draw. Be careful what you wish for though, Joey. You might not like what you get."</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Thank you for your time, Jack. We got to go to break."</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Zeus Maxmillion vs Joey Poison with Faith</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Joey knows he can't match strength with Zeus so he bides his time and tries to find an opening. He takes some lumps in doing so, but once he sees an opening he strikes and he strikes hard. Zeus isn't easily felled, but Joey does well to weaken him to where things are a more level playing field by working on the Greek God's back and shoulders to make it harder to heft and throw Joey about. Zeus still finds a well of reserve to keep going through the pain though and almost even hits a Thunder Bolt only for Joey to slip free at the last moment. After a bit more back and forth Joey's plan to wear Zeus down seems to have worked and he delivers an Antidote Web to gain a victory.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Joey Poison</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">

Davis: "I don't doubt Joey's skill. I just wish he went about things a different way."</p><p> </p><p>

Jenny Playmate is backstage with Thrill Seeker. He seems calm and focused as she begins to speak to him.</p><p> </p><p>

Jenny: "Big match for you tonight, Thrill Seeker. You looked really good at Elimination too. Do you feel you can take the lead in this series finally?"</p><p> </p><p>

Seeker: "Do I feel like I can take the lead in this series? Jenny, every day I train to be the best. I never will be the biggest man, or maybe the best looking. What I am is a man that can get things done. I got it done when I evened up this series and I will get it done again tonight. That first loss was a fluke and we won't need seven matches to finish this."</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ricky DeColt vs Thrill Seeker</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

An excellent display of wrestling and storytelling by two of the companies better workers. There is a little bit of everything in this match that only adds to the drama as it is hard to really tell who was going to come out on top in this one. One moment Ricky is making one of the trademark DeColt comebacks before Thrill Seeker manages to stop it with a big move and take control. The pinfalls between the two keep getting closer and closer, but yet they find strength to kick out. Both men are worn out, battered and bruised when it seems more like luck than anything when Ricky manages to avoid a bit roundhouse from Thrill Seeker and he quickly picks him up to deliver a DeColt 45.</p><p> </p><p>

Adrian: "Luck. It was pure luck."</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Notes</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

- Antonio Del Veccio has suffered a cracked tail bone during his match with Shane Nelson. While he can compete management has decided to hold off and let him heal instead of risking further injury.</p><p> </p><p>

- During the last Title Bout taping Grease Hogg was in an exceptional good mood and helped brighten up the locker room.</p><p> </p><p>

- Professor Funk and Funky Fro were both brought in to help with Donte Dunn's development. Professor Funk was also viewed as a good veteran talent to have in the mid card while Funky Fro is someone that has the entertainment skills to rise up the card in CGC eventually.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Title Bout Wrestling</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The road to Luck of the Draw has started and it already looks like we have our main event set. Joey Poison and Jack DeColt will throw down and it also seems Blockbuster has an opponent in Shane Nelson. But what other matches will we see? Who will be the next challengers for the CGC World Tag Team champions?</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="AeQPKi9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/AeQPKi9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="USZHfjp.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/USZHfjp.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Jack DeColt returns to the ring this Sunday, but is it too soon? He has been beaten up badly the past few months and probably could use more rest. Instead he will get in the ring with Ryan Powell who has been seen some good fortune as of late. He is also a man that isn't above pulling cheap tricks to get a win so Jack will have to stay on his toes.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="n6Wj7TA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/n6Wj7TA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="WKWZYXR.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WKWZYXR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XV24iBK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XV24iBK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="G3LTZU6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/G3LTZU6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The Dirty White Boys came close to becoming three time CGC World Tag Team champions at Elimination, but The Predators came out on top in the end. The Montreal Mafia stand in their way from getting another shot and while relatively new, the pair of Dermont Ayers and Marc Raisen would like to get their first taste of gold as well. The Predators will be watching closely to see who they will face at Luck of the Draw.</p><p> </p><p>

Those matches and much more await! Tune in this Sunday for Title Bout Wrestling!</p>
