It was good to get over the hump and get back into this one. It was just rough because the next show I had was Luck of the Draw which was a rather long one. Now I am feeling more in the groove. This probably won't be updated as much as AAW, but I am going to try to maybe do a show a week if I can help it.

You updating this is already good news. Your AAW one is also another fun one to read. Keep it up man.

Notes</div>

- The Trademark was Canadian independent mainstay Thomas Morgan. He has been in the business for well over twenty years, but this is his first time showing up in a name promotion. While a great hand in the ring it seems age is not on his side and his appearance for CGC is more than likely a one time deal.

- Warren Technique is said to be fine after the broken toe and will be ready to wrestle next week.

- Mister Lucha III has been signed to a written deal for multiple years. Many thought he took the deal to see if SOTBPW would instead try to sign him and keep him in Mexico, but it seems to not be the case. It is unsure how he will be received by fans, but he at least has booker Dan DaLay behind him as well as people like Thrill Seeker and Shane Nelson looking forward to one day get in the ring with him.

It seems the Neo Elite will be a thorn in the sides of the DeColt family for quite some time. Another attack left Ricky laid out again before Jack and The Dirty White Boys made the save. Neo Elite are treading on dangerous territory as they are making more and more enemies. Will they find allies to counteract that or will they just continue to do what they want and make more enemies?

Ricky did not have a good weekend last week. He saw himself tied in the best of seven series due to interference from the newly formed Neo Elite and then he was attacked by them again the following Sunday after a hard fought victory over Dan DaLay. Now it is a pivotal match five. It will be no surprise if Thrill Seeker has some friends to help him, but surely Ricky will have backup as well.

Christian Price made the questionable choice of wanting to face Gargantuan last week. The beast was not seen at last weekend, but it is rumored he will be around this upcoming Sunday. He will in no doubt answer the challenge laid out, but it is more how will this unpredictable beast do it?

They will be defending the gold this Sunday, but it has not been said who their opponents are. Can they continue their run or does their luck finally run out here?

The show starts off showing Alex DeColt backstage and being stopped by his younger brother, Ricky.

Ricky: "Bro, we go to talk. I am tired of Neo Elite already and I want a fight tonight. Give me Thrill Seeker."

Alex: "I was going to let you rest given what happened last week. You can wa-"

Ricky: "I am not waiting! Give me Thrill Seeker tonight and let me get some revenge."

Alex is quiet while Ricky stares him down. After a few moments he sighs and nods.

Alex: "I know you too well. Telling you know won't do anything. Fine, the main event tonight will be match five in your best of seven series. Ricky.....please be careful."

Ricky: "I will be. It is Thrill Seeker you should be worried about."

With that said Ricky leaves and Alex still looks concerned.

Prince of Hearts has his own strange style as he struts about the ring to start and he throws Fro off his game at first, but then Fro starts to lay into Prince of Hearts and show what the funky one can do. He unleashes an array of moves before putting Prince of Hearts down quickly with a Sure Thing.

I also am not a fan of Blockbuster who I think is deep down a coward. I wanted a shot at his title before I was hurt and I want it now. Now I just have someone keeping me focused."

Hailey: "Antonio here is a future champion. He was always lacking something and I think I was that something. I helped Donte before and now I am going to help Antonio."

ADV: "Blockbuster, watch out. I'm coming for you and I am going to expose you for the coward you are."

The tag champs do not look too happy as Zeus poses and Stevie cheers him on.

Just two big man throwing fists. It is nothing but a big brawl between the two that sees both men evenly match. It is plenty of back and forth with Lead Belly making sure Phillipe behaves. He does behave...for a bit. When it seems Grease Hogg may put away Crusher he gets involved and causes the DQ. The four men just start brawling and officials have to separate the two teams.

A much more competitive match after the last one. The devious Whippy is using all sorts of tactics to try and get one over ADV, but ADV proves to be a tough opponent and often catches Whippy before he can try something unsavory like a poke to the eye. Plenty of back and forth action that eventually swings ADV's way and he seals the deal with the Italian DDT.

They all stop and look to the camera. Crusher steps forward and lifts the cameraman up and carries him out of the room before going back in and slamming the door.

Ozzie gets some good offense in to start. Perhaps more offense than anyone expected. If he kept up the attack he might have fared better, but once he was getting rolling he decided to pose for the ladies. This gave Jack time to recover and he goes on a rampage. Ozzie is tossed about and flattened by an End of Days.

The other members of Neo Elite are nowhere to be seen so at least to start it is a standard match with some really good spots to get the crowd into it. Both men trade shots and momentum is constantly shifting with neither man seeming to gain an advantage. Thrill Seeker does well, but starts to falter as Ricky begins to get a second win and starts staging one of the trademark DeColt comebacks. Ricky is rolling when Seeker manages to avoid a strike and try to roll Ricky up. What the ref doesn't see is they are close enough to the ropes where Anslem can help hold Ricky down and let Thrill Seeker pick up the win.

The rest of Neo Elite soon join Thrill Seeker in the ring and they all go on the attack, bit it is only moments before Jack DeColt comes to the rescue. Neo Elite bail instead of attack and the group looks like all smiles as they head to the back and Jack checks on his brother.

- The Gilbert Brothers returned to CGC for one night only. The duo had been in CGC prior from 2006 to 2009 and have recently been part of the Hardcore promotion 4C. Dan DaLay continues to favor working with 4C and use its workers. Antonio Del Veccio is a more recent former alum that works with CGC along with Hudson Drake who currently works for both promotions and Joey Poison who was once head booker of 4C.

- Prince of Hearts is independent talent Romeo Romaro. Romeo had a small roll as enhancement talent in his early years for CGC for half a year in 2004. He appeared earlier this year in a non televised battle royal as well, but it does not seem he has had any long term contract offer.

- One Poor Kid is former ACPW talent Taylor Kidd. This is also a one time appearance. He thankfully survived the Gargantuan attack.

- It was noted backstage Blockbuster was telling the higher ups that he believes Intrepid Ian Identity is a star in the making. It is pretty much him preaching to the choir and right now Ian is just being slowly developed which is a surprise given CGC being notorious for a sudden push then giving up on talent.

CGC has let the contract of Brett Fraser expire. This marks the end of a near seven year run that saw the burly fighter capture the CGC Canadian championship once as well as the CGC Tag Team Championship one time along with fellow alumni Vin Tanner.

Brett has seen limited action the last few months and many said it was age catching up with the veteran as well as him having a track record of not being the safest wrestler to be in the ring with. His last appearance was in a skit during Luck of the Draw and there were no real plans for a feud in the near future.

It is believed to be a amicable split that sees the veteran as a free agent now and accepting any and all bookings without any plan to retire just yet. CGC has debuted several new talents so Brett looks to just be one of the casualties to keep the roster from getting too bloated.

The Drakes do plenty to try and stall the match when they can and don't want to really wrestle from the looks of it. Ian and Skip finally get frustrated and jump out to take the fight to the opponents. Hudson finally gets tossed in the ring and Ian goes to work until a cheap shot that allows the heels to cut him off and double team for awhile. Egos inflate and Ian finally squirms free after a miscue and tag Skip in who cleans house. Drake Young sort of hides and leaves Hudson to eat a Flow Down from Skip.

- Mister Lucha III is one of two international signings made as of late. The other name is currently unknown, but is said to be debuting sometime around Wrestlefestival. This is said to be the final signing for the time being unless a big name comes along as the company feels they have plenty of new talent to work with.

- A Zombie is veteran talent Toronto Zombie who in the past was better known as The Toronto Terror. He has been a staple on the Canadian independent scene, but has never worked for any major company before. It is apparently a one time appearance and nothing more.

- It seems February's monthly earnings finally came in and CGC was pleased by the profit they made. Exact figures are unknown but it is believed it was around 43k in total made.

Ricky looks to even the odds and force a match seven. The DeColts are usually at their best when the odds are against them and this is the sort of situation they seem to thrive in.

Dan DaLay made it clear he thinks Donte Dunn is better off without his new friends and if Donte doesn't see things the veteran's way then he has to be put down. It looks like Donte and the House of Funk will take on Dan with two partners of his own.

When I was looking at the spread there were still unsigned names like Kirk Jameson and Hell's Bouncer about, but I thought Lucha would be more interesting. He also doesn't seem like a guy that would get lost in the shuffle too much in the fact he is a regular wrestler instead of luchador in style and he is a middleweight so he isn't fighting an uphill size battle like Thrill Seeker and ADV. As for the other international signing? I admit I just saw he was on PPA instead of written for once and I stole him without his company offering him a contract stay. He certainly fits in with CGC in the end and it won't be too long before he is revealed.

The start of the show has Jack entering Alex's office where the brothers share a fistbump.

Alex: "Jack, I just want you to know about tonight's main event."

Jack: "Yeah don't worry. I will make sure no one screws Ricky over."

Alex: "That isn't it. I have banned everyone from ringside which includes you."

Jack: "What?! But-"

Alex: "I understand your worry. We're all brothers, but I can't ban the Neo Elite and no one else without showing favoritism. You know this isn't easy."

Jack: "N...no. I understand, but if Ricky gets hurt.....just understand what I am going to do."

Alex: "Don't tell me, Jack. Do what needs to be done."

Davis: "Wow, what a annoucement there!"

Adrian: "Alex does something right for once. Be fair to all parties."

Davis: "Neo Elite haven't exactly been playing fair, but if no side has assistance tonight I am all for it."

Lead Belly vs Phillipe LeGrenier

At least one half of The Dirty White Boys tries to get revenge and Lead Belly does well to dominate the majority of the match. No interference is had, but Phillipe is more than fine with finding a way to cheat and he does manage to get a pin with a handful of tights.

Winner: Phillipe LeGrenier

Davis: "Looks like he took a page out of Ryan Powell's book."

Adrian: "Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat. Ditterich, you should know this by now."

Davis: "Say what you want, but I don't like cheap wins."

Jenny is in the interview area with Identity Skip this time around.

Jenny: "Congrats on your win last week. I know you didn't get the man that turned his back on you, but the win still must feel good."

Ian: "You're right. It did feel good. As a team me and Skip are showing we aren't to be underestimated."

Skip: "We're pretty awesome together!"

Jenny: "So what is next?"

The two pause and seem unsure. They look to one another and after a moment Ian speaks up.

Ian: "Well why not a title shot?"

Skip: "Yeah, Zeus and Stevie got a go next, but why not us?"

Ian: "Yeah that sounds like good progression. That is what we think is next."

Jenny: "Well I wish you two luck!"

Adrian: "Those two dorks as tag champs? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!"

Zeus and Stevie vs The Montreal Mafia

The Mafia have a good idea in theory. They try to keep Stevie away from Zeus and it works for awhile, but Stevie is more than just a hyper sugar fiend. He actually has skill and he manages to finally get free and tag Zeus who goes to town on the much smaller team. The former champs run wild from that point on and pick up the victory.

Winners: Zeus and Stevie

Davis: "Solid win there by the former four time champions."

Adrian: "Sure, but at Wrestlefestival it will be different. They lost to The Predators already. Why won't it happen again?"

Davis: "I admit I am curious to see the result. The Predators keep winning and I can't bet against them at this point."

Mister Lucha III vs Old Man Yells at Cloud

The old man doesn't look like he wants to be where he is and while Lucha shows a brilliant display of moves it is obvious his opponent is not exactly selling it or giving a damn. In spite of that CGC's newest signing scores a victory with his patented Third Strike.

Winner: Mister Lucha III

Jenny Playmate soon joins Lucha in the ring.

Jenny: "Congrats on your first win. How do you feel now that you finally stepped in the ring here in CGC?"

Lucha: "I feel wonderful. He was a tough competitor and I feel good about this win. I just want to keep pushing forward and show I am not just a man in a mask. I am here to show I am someone who will one day hold the CGC World title!"

Adrian: "Yeah, easier said than done you masked dope."

Davis: "Stop that. I have to say I am impressed and look forward to seeing more from this man."

Adrian: "Hopefully we can feed him to Gargantuan soon."

Things shift to backstage where it is showing several officials trying to break up a brawl between ADV and Blockbuster.

Davis: "Looks like Antonio doesn't want to wait until Wrestlefestival or Blockbuster was scared and tried to jump the challenger."

Adrian: "If Antonio was trying something he is an idiot. He needs to calm down before he gets hurt and doesn't even make it to the match."

Dan DaLay and The New Soldiers of Fortune vs The House of Funk

A rather chaotic brawl between six men that shows veterans take on the rather strange House of Funk. A good match between the two, but experience wins out (Along with some dirty tactics) and Dan hits Funky Fro with the DaLay Down to win.

Winners: Dan DaLay and New Soldiers of Fortune

Rating: 56

Adrian: "I think that is a good indicator Donte should listen to what Dan has to say."

Davis: "House of Funk suffer a loss, but I see them bouncing back. I am sure this isn't the end between Donte and Dan."

Adrian: "It would be the end of Donte was smart."

Neo Elite is found in back discussing matters on the evening. None look too happy, but Thrill Seeker does look confident.

Seeker: "Don't cost me the match. I can finish this tonight and we go on to better things. Don't worry about it."

Anslem: "This is Ricky DeColt we are talking about."

Seeker: "The same Ricky DeColt I have beaten three times. You three stay back and I will show you how great I am."

Rating: 55

Davis: "Well I have to say Thrill Seeker is confident, but I still am unsure if we get a fair match."

Adrian: "Ditterich, we got two men with no one at ringside. What more do you want?"

Davis: "I just feel uneasy."

Ryan Powell vs Christian Price

Christian Price looks good throughout the match where he has little problem disposing of Ryan Powell.

Winner: Christian Price

Rating: 58

Then Gargantuan comes in and murders Price and lets the fool know he will see him in the ring at Wrestlefestival.

Davis: "Jesus!"

Adrian: "And that is why you shouldn't challenge Gargantuan!"

Things shift to the back where Jack and Joey are having a bit of a staring contest and Faith is standing between them.

Joey: "You are on edge. You worry about Ricky, but I am not going after him. Stay focused on me, Jack. I am taking your title soon enough."

Jack: "Keep thinking that. I am not worried about you doing things. I am not keeping you at the back of my mind, but I also have to watch out for my brother tonight."

Joey has a sly grin and nods. "Fine by me. Worrying about others just gives me more of an advantage."

Joey moves on and Faith looks at Jack in an apologetic matter before following.

Rating: 78

Adrian: "Should have got him right then and there, Joey. His guard was down."

Davis: "I really can't tell what Joey is thinking these days. He is unhinged one moment then seems almost honorable the next."

Adrian: "Need more of the former and less of the latter."

Ricky DeColt vs Thrill Seeker

Fast paced and hard hitting match. More importantly one that sees no interference for either side. Even without help Thrill Seeker looks close to winning the overall series without needing a match seven, but Ricky is resilient and fights back. Thrill Seeker seems to survive that comeback and starts to take control again, but chalk it up to overconfidence when he gets hit with a DeColt 45 out of nowhere because he started to get too cocky.

Winner: Ricky DeColt (Series tied 3-3)

Rating: 78

Adrian: "Dammit! You have to be kidding me!"

Davis: "I give Thrill Seeker credit. He almost won without any sort of help from his goons."

Adrian: "This is unacceptable. This should all be over and now we have a match seven."

Davis: "Six solid matches so I can't wait until to see the last. We are out of time, folks!"

Notes

- Old Man Yells at Cloud is veteran wrestler Ted Brady. It is said Ted was very mad that he was putting over someone undeserving and didn't put much effort into the match. For someone that is not a full time roster member it was considered very unprofessional and many feel Ted will not be employed again in any manner.

- Blockbuster was telling anyone that would listen to him last night that he feels Prometheus is going to be a star and needs to be pushed hard. The big man is very green still, but it is said many are a fan and wish to properly develop the big man.

- It also helps Prometheus is showing off a more muscular physique as of late which only makes him look even more dangerous. With his attitude and work ethic it seems the sky is the limit for the giant.

Title Bout Wrestling

We are well onto the way towards Wrestlefestival and the card is shaping out to be interesting for the two night event. What else may unfold between now and then?

The main event for next Sunday should be interesting. Christian Price and Jack DeColt should not have any problems teaming together, but can Joey Poison and Gargantuan get along and take down the DeColt brothers?

Dan DaLay has issues with the House of Funk and he gets to perhaps show Donte the error of his ways when he takes on Professor Fun. The professor is a crafty man himself so this is no easy match for the CGC veteran. This may be just what the professor needs victory wise to show Donte he is on the right path.

Finally Mister Lucha III will have another match. Will he find success again or will competition in CGC be too much for him?

The show starts with Alex in his office and the camera focused on him.

Alex: "With the DeColt Wrestlefestival a week away I have come to a decision that Ricky DeColt will not be on tonight's show. The rivalry between him and Thrill Seeker has gotten increasingly troublesome since the formation of Neo Elite. The group has shown they are not above jumping their opponents to weaken them and I want both competitors on top of their game for the pivotal match seven.

Furthermore all members of Neo Elite including Anslem Briggs will be banned from ringside when that match happens as stated before. There will be fines and suspensions handed out if this rule is broken. Likewise Jack DeColt is banned from ringside. I try to be fair even if Neo Elite don't deserve it, but for now that is my decision. I hope you all enjoy the show and see you next week at Wrestlefestival."

Adrian: "If Joey is smart he lets Gargantuan destroy those two and reap the rewards next weekend."

Davis: "I guess we'll see. I don't envy anyone getting in the ring with that monster. Let's kick things off!"

The newest CGC signing faces off with a much larger opponent than last time, but has the same success. A nice display of the masked wrestler showing just all he can do and finishes off Mike with a Third Strike.

Donte Dunn and Funky Fro are in back with the former looking rather worried and pacing. Fro himself seems more relaxed and eventually he stops Donte from pacing.

Funky Fro: "You need to relax, brother. The Professor knows what he is getting into. Just do what he said. Watch and learn."

Donte: "Look, I have seen Dan in action much more than you two. I just think maybe we should be out there in case it goes bad."

Funky Fro: "And we will go out there if it goes bad. Remember, brother, we don't want those we beat to have excuses. If we stand out there I am sure we somehow get blamed as a reason for why the Professor wins."

Donte: "I know....just...okay. I am going out there though if Dan tries anything."

Funky Fro: "Brother, do what you got to do!"

Dan DaLay vs Professor Funk</div>

A pretty wild brawl and while outsized, Professor Funk does fare well early on. He seems to be feeling the power of The Funk and is avoiding most of Dan's attacks and countering with his own. He also apparently gets The Funk knocked out of him with a big backfist that tilts the match into Dan's favor. Some hard hitting strikes and a DaLay Down puts an end to the match.

He trails off and looks to Stevie who is all grins and gives Zeus a double thumbs up. Zeus looks back to Jenny.

Zeus: "And ahh....the resilience of Stevie! The Predators? Don't make me laugh. This next Sunday they will be the ones being hunted and we will be on top of the food chain."

Stevie: "Then we get ice cream and celebrate!"

Jenny gives Stevie a faint smile and looks to Zeus. The two share a shrug before Zeus ushers Stevie away.

Identity Skip vs Neo Elite</div>

Four younger talents all trying to pick up a win and maybe get a chance at the tag champs in the near future. A good back and forth match that is marred by the fact Anslem Briggs gets involved. It is a distraction that gets Skip's attention as well as the referee which allows a low blow from Haverford who quickly tags in Phillipe that nails the Quebec Arrow. Haverford stops Skip from breaking up the pin and Neo Elite wins.

Anslem: "What we have here is a group so strong the mighty Alex DeColt is scared of us to the point he sent his little brother home to protect him. Isn't that cute? Alex, if we wanted to hurt Ricky we would have already done it. Thrill Seeker here is going to win and it doesn't matter he won't have me or anyone else at his side."

Thrill Seeker then takes the microphone and grins.

Seeker: "Then it doesn't matter who wins the World title afterwards. I don't care of it is Joey Poison or Jack DeColt. Once I am finished with Ricky I am making that title mine. And don't worry, dear Alex. I won't have anyone in this ring right now causing any problems. I swear."

It is an insincere smirk and the group soon exit the ring.

ADV is looking for some momentum going into the CGC Canadian title match and he faces a challenge in veteran and known cheater, Ryan Powell. And boy does Ryan try to cheat. The problem is Hailey is more than happy to point things out to the referee and it gets Ryan frustrated. He finally starts to yell at Hailey which gives ADV all the advantage he needs as he turns things around in his favor and eventually wins with the Italian DDT.

Gargantuan is psyching himself up for his match when Joey reluctantly draws closer while keeping Faith at a distance. The monster looks down and Joey and just gives an evil grin.

He doesn't linger because Gargantuan continues to stare a hole into him. He slinks away with Faith and the beast of a man starts to laugh.

Gargantuan: "Don't get in my way, pest. I'll destroy you too."

It is a very strange match with one team willing to work together and the other having constant problems of trying to work together. It doesn't really matter because when Gargantuan is in the ring he is easily overpowering both Jack and Christian. Joey tends to have to tag himself in and most of the time it is met with confrontation. Joey still has an advantage when he is in for a bit, but Jack starts to fight back and Joey is being taken to town as he gets cut off by Jack and Christian. Gargantuan gets tired of watching and gets in and starts to attack everyone in sight including the referee. Through all the chaos Joey slips out of the ring and pulls Faith along with him before Jack and Price manage to work together and send Gargantuan out of the ring. Battered and bruised the two stand in the ring somehow victorious.

Stevie: "There is nothing the Greek God can't do. Well....sometimes he isn't too good at math."

Zeus glares at Stevie who gives a helpless shrug. Zeus then turns his attention back to Jenny.

Zeus: "The Predators probably think they got an advantage now, but this only fires me up more. I promise you I will help pull out a victory that will be remembered for the ages!"

Seems like some cruel fate that the guy complaining about Funk being unsafe now faces the Professor himself. He also isn't having much luck against the Professor. After all he did teach Donte the power of Funk. Something Ryan can't figure out how to overcome even when trying to stoop to his cheating ways. Professor Funk comes out on top in the end after delivering a nice, crisp Funkensteiner to win.

This is more of a brawl than an actual match with the veterans coming on strong. The longer the match goes though the more Identity Skip starts to gain momentum. Skip in particular goes on a suplex rampage before tagging in Ian who hits a dazed Fate with Identity Theft and picks up the win.

A somewhat familiar face taking on Mister Lucha tonight in Jazzhands being in CGC for a short spell a few years ago. He doesn't seem prepared to take on CGC's newest signing though and he is overwhelmed by the flashy offense of the masked wrestler. Another short match capped by a Third Strike to pick up the win.

For two men that have big matches coming up neither seem to hold back. Zeus has a strength advantage, but Joey picks his spots and he finds a body part to work over when he gets his chances. A lot of back and forth which both men getting some big hits in and close pins. Desperate, Joey goes for the eyes and blinds Zeus for a moment. More than enough time for Joey to start to mount offense and while the bigger man is weakened Joey strikes with the Antidote Web and gets the pin.

Blockbuster and Whippy the Clown vs Antonio Del Veccio and Shane Nelson with Hailey Hunter</div>

The CGC Canadian champion and his opponent face off a day before their title bout with rather odd partners. Blockbuster has the sadistic clown Whippy and ADV has to feel uneasy partnering with the man that injured him a few months back. It is a wild affair that is a bit all over the place. In the end the champ retains when he uses the Buster Bomb to take out Shane Nelson and pick up the win for his team while Whippy keeps ADV from breaking up the pin.

Prometheus vs Biff the Bruiser</div>

Prometheus faces off against a man that doesn't seem intimidated and even at one point he has the giant lifted up off his feet. A big punch means Biff sets the big man back down and he is rocked with some big blows. Prometheus quickly ends it with a God Chop.

Dirty White Boys vs Neo Elite</div>

One big brawl mostly because Dirty White Boys don't let it become anything else. It is chaotic and the referee has a hard time controlling it. An advantage to Neo Elite in the end given Anslem can get involved easier. He grabs Grease Hogg's foot at one point to get his attention and he starts to chase the manager about before being intercepted by Phillipe. Crusher and Lead Belly are still brawling in the ring and when the referee tries break up the fight outside it allows Crusher to low blow Lead Belly and hit him with a Full Nelson Slam. The fight eases up outside and the referee turns about to count the three before Grease Hogg can break it up.

He is cut off and Zeus can only watch as Stevie tries to fight back and get free. A timing accident allows him to do just that and he goes for the tag. He dives for Zeus and....Zeus hops off the apron? Stevie looks confused as he gets attacked by Warren Technique. Zeus just gets a bit of a grin as Stevie is locked into the STF and has to tap. The champs celebrate as Zeus turns about and leaves his partner in the ring.

Big, hard hitting match between the two men that see momentum traded quite a bit. Dunne also seems to trying to tire out Dan, but it seems the veteran is playing smart and not falling for it. They start to just lay into one another with the biggest moves they can break out and it leads to close pinfalls for both men. The turning point is Donte ducking a clothesline, but then eating a backfist when coming off the ropes looks to knock him out cold. If it didn't the following DaLay Down certainly does.

Zeus Maxmillion vs Stevie Grayson</div>

Two contrasting emotions as Zeus is just smirking and saying nothing, while a upset Stevie is asking for answers. When he doesn't get any he attacks his former partner and finds himself overwhelmed by the much stronger Zeus. In spite of that he fights with all he can as he keeps asking Zeus 'Why?' only to never get an answer. Zeus ends up being too much and after beating down his partner he hefts Stevie up to stare at him with a grin and say "We were never friends." before putting Stevie away with a Thunder Bolt then hits a second to add more punishment.

Blockbuster ambushes ADV when he is getting into the ring and looks to put the challenger away quickly. Some big heavy hits lay out ADV, but the smaller wrestler continues to kick out which seems to frustrate the champ. Blockbuster continues his assault and a corner charge sees ADV dodge and finally get a chance to fight back and gain momentum. Blockbuster is in a panic and tries to get disqualified by going for a chair, but ADV dives out and wipes both himself and the champ out. Slowly they both make it to the ring. They exchange blows, but a big lariat misses ADV who quickly kicks the surprised Blockbuster in the gut. Italian DDT! Hailey is jumping in excitement as ADV scores the pinfall.

The House of Funk sadly do not rebound and win like they had hoped. The match is a pretty chaotic mess and Ryan Powell is more than happy to spend time distracting the referee long enough for a Dan DaLay appearance. Dan wipes out Donte and Professor Funk and leaves Fro pretty much handling three men at once. Dan just smirks and leaves ringside as Funky Fro gets overwhelmed and Ryan hits the Star Treatment for victory.

Lucha's partner is a massive man who has never been seen in a CGC ring before and both Hudson and Drake look horrified. They obviously try to keep Lucha in the ring, but even then he is swift and his offense explosive which makes him hard to contain. Once he does tag the big man in both members of Drake .0 are treated like ragdolls before both decide that they should flee and take the count out loss.

Whippy was not at all prepared for this and Ricky takes it to clown. Some offense by Whippy after a eyepoke, but it just isn't enough. Ricky is focused and not happy from his loss yesterday so he is taking it out on the veteran. DeColt 45 and Ricky stands tall.

Gargantuan vs Christian Price</div>

Price shows no fear and takes it right to the monster, but Gargantuan just seems to shrug off each hit and land a devastating one of his own. He begins to dominate and toss Price around looking to have this match in hand, but Christian seems to find a second wind and starts to fight back. He strikes hard and fast and looks to wear down the monster. Gargantuan is rattled and goes down to a knee and Price bounces off the ropes to try and take the big man down. Instead he eats a big lariat that turns him inside out. Gargantuan quickly picks Price up and delivers the Ultimate Backbreaker

It is much like the match from last month. Both men pulling out all the stops and not giving an inch. Joey is aggressive and gets a good share of offense in and comes close once more several times. He just can't seem to put Jack away for good. There is even a point Jack starts to make a comeback and it quickly gets quashed by an Antidote Web that scores a near three. Joey is getting more desperate and it is his undoing. Jack starts to come back again and Joey starts to panic. He misses another Antidote Web attempt and Jack nails him square in the jaw. End of Days! Jack makes the cover and Joey kicks out at the last moment! A surprised Jack goes for another, but Joey escapes and starts to strike. He bounces off the ropes and gets caught with another End of Days. This time Joey doesn't get up.

Building up to Wrestlefestival was always exciting when on the talent side of things. Even when I started to work as an agent at times it was still fun. Now that I have been on the booking side of it I am feeling exhausted. Coming up with so much content in such a short period of time was not easy. Somehow it was over and I felt rather proud of how things turned out. Ricky wasn't too happy about losing to Thrill Seeker, but we really needed a threat with Joey losing again and Gargantuan currently fighting Christian Price. Joey was in the cards to win it for a time and have Joey face him next, but Neo Elite is new and starting to grow stronger with Zeus being added in.

It was just nice to have a few days to relax before picking things back up soon enough. I had Tuesday and Wednesday off before meeting Alex on Thursday to start working on Sunday's show. This gave me time to sit at home and poke at things. I was on my tablet looking through news stories when my phone rang.

Dan: "Hello?"

Alex: "Word is you have been giving the Stones some trouble."

Dan: "Have I? It was just a simple contract offer. Nothing substantial."

Alex: "Just don't prod too much. We are doing well so far this year, but I rather not deal with the Stones.....for now."

Dan: "I'll try to behave."

Well word does travel fast. It was during the show on Monday I found out Cameron Vessey's contract was coming up. I didn't think he would be too interested, but I was curious enough to send him an offer. It was money similar to a Joey Poison or Zeus so a nice one, but not top tier. Jeremy seemed to panic and offered a very lucrative one to keep Cameron there. He would be a nice addition, but not worth a bidding war. It has to be a special name for that.

Otherwise the roster is getting a bit too big anyways. The new guys are doing well enough and I knew the moment Alex saw Rahmel that it would be an easy sell to bring him in. For now I just watch talent and see who is available. Right now?

There is Texas Pete who has some name value, but I am told he isn't worth the trouble. Nice guy, but can't handle his addictions. I don't want to try and deal with that. TCW let go of Flying Jimmy Fox, but admittedly he would fit into a roll already taken up by guys like Thrill Seeker and Shane Nelson. Lucha recommended Silver Tiger, but I don't feel like trying to build another name from the ground up when I am doing that with Mister Lucha III and now Rahmel.

The focus right now is working on contracts with current talents and pushing towards Chaos in a Cage. It has been rough, but right now I am having fun. This six month trial is going so fast though. Hopefully I am doing enough to get a longer run with the book.

Notes</div>

- Several talents were signed to one time appearances to help bolster the roster for a busy weekend. THE Lumberjack is veteran Cal Sanders who is a technical wrestler that has been a staple on the indy scene. The second was Mister Jazzhands who has worked for CGC in the past under the name Jazz Funk. With House of Funk being a prominent group now his name was changed for this one off. Finally Canadian strongman Biff the Bruiser who was brought in to give Prometheus a win over a big man that seemed more credible than his normal squashes.

- Anslem Briggs asked and was granted a raise when he approached management. He was signed to a low end contract, but his work with Neo Elite has warranted a new contract close to 1,800 a month.

- Blockbuster continues to tell anyone that will listen that Prometheus is going to be a big time player sooner than later. Management is still careful with the big man and are trying to improve his ring work before any sort of major push that would make or break the man.

- Likewise Joey Poison was high on Dermott Ayres. While small in stature and not the most charismatic talent he is a great in ring talent that doesn't put on a bad match. Sadly given CGC's track record he may at the moment be lost in the shuffle.

- Nathan Black was backstage during Wrestlefestival doing cartoon drawings of various talents. It was a big hit and Nathan was mister popular those nights.

Just days removed from an exciting DeColt Wrestlefestival we have Title Bout wrestling coming back at you! Chaos in the Cage is six weeks away and who knows what may happen between now and then. We do have a few select matches to mention though!

A good match seeing Dermott get to show off his skills in a rare singles bout for him. He uses his technical skills to try and keep the champ on the ground and not able to do much which does work for some time, but ADV starts to find ways to counter the holds and begins fighting back. The two share some back and forth before the champ just starts to gain momentum and Dermott is left reeling. A good effort, but an Italian DDT ensures ADV won't lose in his first defense.

One I am getting to know rather well in Gargantuan, then we got Thrill Seeker and his Neo Elite buddies I have to watch out for. So yeah, I think a win here does help me, but that is no small task. I am focused though and I like my chances. My time might not be at Chaos in the Cage, but a win here will make my time happen sooner than later."

Christian Price vs Gargantuan vs Thrill Seeker with Anslem Briggs</div>

It is all about trying to take Gargantuan down which is no easy task. He is dominating both men early on and tossing them about with ease. Christian finally rocks him with a few big uppercuts. He and Thrill Seeker work together to try and knock down the big man, but have little luck still. Finally Price seems to score a big one by giving a big lariat that knocks Gargantuan out of the ring and dazes him at least for a moment.

It also distracts the referee to allow Anslem to toss something to Thrill Seeker who nails Christian Price in the jaw with a stiff shot and quickly tosses what looks like brass knuckles back to his manager. He gets the referee's attention and makes the pin to get the victory. He and the rest of Neo Elite quickly scatter as Gargantuan is still on a rampage.

Big hard hitting match between the two men. Nothing fancy about it. Just powerful strikes and bone crunching throws that see both men exchange momentum. Anslem tries to get involved a few times, but the referee catches him and surprisingly there are no other appearances from the other Neo Elite members as the match goes on. Zeus gains the advantage and works over Jack's back looking to get the Olympian Clutch locked onto him at some point. Each time he fights back Zeus finds a way to stop the momentum. The Olympian Clutch is finally locked on in the middle of the ring. Jack flails and starts to fade and it looks like the champ is out. Before the ref can call the match Jack starts to move and fight out of the hold. A big comeback by Jack sees him getting a second wind and pummeling Zeus before putting him away with the End of Days.

- Bob Bonnie Boone is better known as Bob Casey on the independents. The man has made a career being a jobber and he can finally say he got to do so on television before he retires.

- It is said Alex DeColt is very high on Rahmel Goode. While age is a factor it is felt if Rahmel can be built up quickly they might be able to get a few good years out before age starts to take it's toll. Currently he is going to do a mix of solo work as well as more tag matches with Mister Lucha III. The two seem to have a natural chemistry together and will be going by the name International House of Pain.
