Give Me Rules For A Game: Rebooted

Recommended Posts

  1. Prestige Pressure
    • Any titles (including tournament titles) you create for your company must always be set as floating, meaning their prestige level at any given time depends on the performers competing for it.

[*]Legacy

  • You must always have a tag team/stable based around the fact that all of the members are 2nd (or more) generation wrestlers.
  • El Mitico Jr doesn't always have to be a member, and the members and number of members can change as you wish, but it can't ever drop below two.

[*]It's Science

  • If you discover any positive tag team chemistry among your roster, they must become Tag Team Champions within a year of the chemistry being discovered.
  • If you discover any "awful" tag team chemistry (the lowest level possible), the two wrestlers involved must feud in some capacity within six months of the chemistry being discovered.
  • Anyone with positive opponent chemistry must face each other in singles action three times within a year of the chemistry being discovered.

[*]Everyone Loves A Gamble

  • When an event steps up an importance level, the following year's event must be main evented by a "Luchas de apuestas" match, meaning both competitors must have something on the line, for example:
    • Mask vs mask
    • Mask vs hair
    • Hair vs title
    • Title vs career
    • Career vs authority position
    • All other combinations where someone loses something important to them, no matter who wins and loses.

[*]Think Outside The Box

  • At no point are you allowed to hire any of the five wrestlers featured in the Hidden Gems category of your Creative Meeting.

Hope these rules are okay! Tried to make some of them personal to El Mitico Jr, while also trying to add some challenging rules!

Thank you so much!

Any chance you could give me an idea &/or some rules for my user character, i'm looking for him to be a wrestler.

Ah! In that case...

  1. Brown Nosing
    • You are never allowed to pin El Mitico Jr or make him submit.
    • You may win tag matches, Triple Threats, etc with him involved, but you can't give him the fall. This includes Battle Royals and elimination matches, in which you are not allowed to eliminate him.
    • If you make it this far, you are to finally defeat El Mitico in his (shoot) retirement match (ie the actual last match he wrestles whenever he announces his retirement)

[*]Selfless Booker

  • You are not allowed to be the first person (or member of the first team) to hold any championship or win any tournament you create.
  • You are not allowed to have the longest reign with any championship at any time.
  • You are not allowed to have the most title reigns with any championship, nor the most wins of any tournament.
  • This isn't to say you can't win championships or tournaments or have a very successful career; you're just not allowed to be first, longest-reigning, or have the most reigns.

How does that do ya?

perfect ty so much

I had this under The Booking Committee thread, but since this one seems to be back to life, I'd thought I'd give it a whirl here:

OK, started a new game with a modified Death of WCW. Started my own promotion with the hopes of eventually challenging the WWF/E.

Here's the roster:

Main Event:

Trevor Murdock (World) F

Cassidy O'Reilly H

Mike Samson F

Mike Hettinga H (one strike due to steroids)

Upper Midcard:

Jason Cross F

Eric Priest H

JC Ice F

Kevin Northcutt H

Midcard:

Paul London F

Roderick Strong H

Matt Cross F

Chase Stevens H

Lower Midcarder:

Andy Douglas F

Enhancement Talent:

Austin Aries

Women's Division:

Sweet Saraya F

Lacey F

Susan Morton F

Miss Natural H (Women's)

Rain H

Amber O'Neal H

I'd appreciate some rules that could keep me playing awhile.

My first post on one of these but I'll give it a shot!

True Alternative:

Your primary champion cannot be a former champion in the WWF/E

Women's Revolution:

In two years either have your Women's champion be as popular as your Main eventers, or have your Women's champ autopush as a Main Eventer (would need to make company 'integrated' for this to work)

London Calling

Paul London has to main event a PPV by the end of your first year.

Don't Be Jeff Jarrett

If you have a user character that's a wrestler, they can never be your world champion.

Hope this helps!

4 will be really easy. My user character is Brain and he's my authority figure.

3 is probably doable as well. I think I can have him take on Cassidy O'Reilly for the World Title at some point.

2 might be tougher. It's early so I could do the integrated company thing without a major penalty. I suspect it'll either be Miss Natural or Saraya that will be the main eventer as those are my best wrestlers currently.

On 1, I might have screwed up already. My first champion is Trevor Murdock who won the belt in the first PPV and apparently was tag team champion thrice for WWE. Recently, I added Ron Killings who was Tag and US champs for WWE. I suspect I can get the belt to O'Reilly which will make it easier to do 3 or perhaps Sampson. Hettinga (aka Mike Knox) also never won the world title, but then again, I fear he might not make the full contract due to steroids.

I would say the rules only apply from when you received them. So get the belt off Murdock ASAP and move forwards.

I'd also suggest that maybe the rule poster meant anyone who had already been a champion in WWE in your game, rather than anyone who would go on to be a champion in real life. Depends when you're playing...

Meant more so in your game, not real life. So at that point Murdoch should be good. But for example, if you sign Shawn Michaels, he cannot be your champion. Or if in your save, WWE sign Okada and make him champ he can no longer be your champ. On the flip side, if they never make Cena, Orton, etc into champions, you're free to make them champs in your promotion</p>

After I haven't played TEW for almost 2 Months (wasn't really in the Mood to be honest), I decided that I am gonna start a new Game as WWE Evolution in Fleisch's Smackdown vs. RAW 2019 Mod. I brought in some new Woman like Mercedes Martinez, Cheerleader Melissa and more and I would like to have some Costum Rules, to make it a bit more challenging. Thanks in advance.

Playing as WWE in 2006 (game started in 2004) and just recently opened up ECW. Looking for any goals, people to sign, storyline ideas, and who to push.

Here is the roster..

Antonio Thomas

Big Vito

Bobbi Billard

Bubba Ray Dudley

Christian York

CM Punk

D-Von Dudley

Elijah Burke

Hardcore Holly

Johnny Roselli

Kevin Thorn

Daivari

Marcus Cor Van

Matt Morgan

Matt Striker

Maven

Mike Knox

Mike Shane

Nunzio

Paul Heyman (GM)

Stevie Richards

Terry Funk

Big Show

Todd Shane

Tommy Dreamer

Tony Mamaluke

Trevor Murdoch

Sabu

Rob Van Dam (WWE and ECW champ)

Kurt Angle

The Alpha Male - Marcus Cor Von must win the ECW Championship in the next 2 years and hold the title for 6 months or 6 defences. Then must have another reign in the next year.

New Breed Reigns Supreme - Form a stable of new ECW talent to feud with a stable of old ECW talent (At least 3 members each). The new talent are not allowed to lose in single competition against their rivals, and must win the big blow off match.

Little Italy - Form an Italian Stable with Nunzio as their leader. Nunzio has to form the stable after losing to the pair of Big Show and Matt Morgan in separate matches. Nunzio must lead his stable to challenge all big men. (Morgan, Show, Knox, and Kane)

Never Retire - Terry Funk is never allowed a retirement match at a big show. His last match must have little/no story and be on a regular taping, non-main event.

Replacement Taker - Kevin Thorn must not lose at PPVs, must only have at most 2 matches between them. (Can still be in angles). Can not have a title reign for 2 years.

Fight forever or together - CM Punk and Elijah Burke must either be feuding, or in a tag-team together for a year long period.

The Silent Man - Sabu is not allowed to talk at all.

Trade One/Job One - Trade one of RVD or Angle to another show. The other must have a losing record.

Okay so I'm doing a Montreal Aftermath save with WCW, just finished Starrcade 97 and I need some rules.

For reference:

Sting is World Champ

Harlem Heat Tag Champs

Big Boss Man (forgot his WCW name) is TV Champ

Jericho CW

Curt Hennig is US Champ

  1. Swapsies
    • All of your current champions must hold one of the other titles within the next year.
    • Which title, for how long, etc, is completely up to you.
    • If you, for example, want Sting to hold the World Title for the entire year, he can still be a part of this rule, he'll just have to be a double champion at some point.
    • This also includes both members of Harlem Heat getting a singles run.

[*]No Regrets

  • Do not let Chris Jericho leave WCW at any point.
  • You must pay whatever is needed to retain him, you can't fire him, he can only leave when he retires or dies.

[*]The Best There Is...

  • Bret Hart must be the next wrestler to win WCW's Triple Crown (WCW World Heavyweight, United States Heavyweight, and World Tag Team Championships).
  • This means you cannot have any other wrestler win a title that would complete their Triple Crown before he wins all three.
  • On top of this, Bret must beat Lex Luger's record (at the time) for completing the Triple Crown four years and three days after winning his first title.
  • ALSO, Bret must beat the only three Triple Crown winners (at the time) to claim his championships: Ric Flair, Sting and Lex Luger.
  • Finally, Bret must beat Hulk Hogan's previous record for longest individual WCW World Heavyweight Championship reign (469 days - 427 as TEW's calendar counts it), including at least one defence against Hogan himself.

Not a lot of rules, but hopefully some interesting ones?

Do you have some more details on your roster, champions, etc?

Trade One/Job One - Trade one of RVD or Angle to another show. The other must have a losing record.

Oh, that's evil :p

Looking for some 2001 WWF rules where I won't be starting the Invasion right away. I'm going to build up to it a bit, probably tease it every once in a while, but I would like there to be no Invasion until Wrestlemania of 2002. I do want wrestlers jumping ship to happen though. WCW Nitro will be taking the place of Smackdown. A WCW Brand and a WWF Brand will be happening. I probably won't hire many old WCW guys who didn't sign right away. But I may go with Hogan, Flair, Sting, Hall, and Nash.

I also have some CAWs that can be included in rules, or not included in rules,

3 Personalities/Color Commentators/Announcers/Managers (all male; includes user character)

1 Manager/Personality (Female)

6 Male Wrestlers

5 Female Wrestlers/Managers.

I have a few ideas for this:

Treat them right: If you bring in any of the following, you must give them Creative Control in their contracts. You must hire at least 3 of them.

  • Hogan
  • Nash
  • Hall
  • Flair
  • DDP
  • Booker T
  • Goldberg
  • Scott Steiner
  • Sting

Awkward Pairing: One of the tag team champions must jump ship. However, they must continue to defend the titles for at least 3 months after this happens.

Who needs evolution?: Mark Jindrak must pin Triple H clean in a singles match on a PPV at some point

Buff has the Stuff: Buff Bagwell must win every title he's eligible for after the brand split. Bonus points whenever he holds multiple at once.

Give me rules for a current day AEW game using TheWhos august database!!!!!! Thanks guys

  1. TNAEW
    • The first male wrestler WWE release, you must hire and must win the AEW World Championship within 12 months of his release.

[*]Not Playing Favourites

  • None of The Elite (Bucks, Cody, Omega, Page, etc) or any of their obvious buddies/allies (Dustin Rhodes being an obvious one, but I'm sure there's more) can hold any record in AEW.
  • This includes first champion with any title, longest reigning, most reigns, etc.

[*]Building Our Own Future

  • You can only steal a maximum of ten workers (including wrestlers, announcers, road agents, referees, anyone) from the following companies per year combined:
    • WWE (including NXT & NXT UK)
    • TNA/Impact
    • NJPW
    • ROH
    • AAA
    • AJPW
    • CMLL

[*]No-one signed from any of those companies may cleanly defeat a homegrown or existing talent (ie one not signed within the last year) for a Championship.

[*]If you do an unclean finish to take a title from an existing talent to a new big-name signing, you must do a rematch within two months where the existing talent gets their title back.

[*]The only exception is the signing from rule 1, who may win the title clean and keep it for as long as you like.

I hope these will keep you going for now! Didn't want to do too much too specific to talent in AEW, as a lot of them I'm still getting acquainted with myself! :)

@EBEZA

you are the undisputed king of this thread, how do you come up with so much goodness?

I'm still amazed by the Bret Hart rule you gave me for my WCW save

Why thank you :D

Tbh, I've always enjoyed giving myself crazy challenges to keep games fresh, so transferring it to TEW comes pretty naturally. Also, I'm a real stat nerd, so things like the Triple Crown rule for Bret occur to me before all else. :)

Again, thanks so much for the kind words! Just trying to help others who like a challenge (like myself) enjoy the game for a little longer :)
