What can you say about the diary that has everything? WCW Spring Stampede delivered a PPV for the ages, one of the best I can remember seeing. All the matches were great and had a solid backstory and storytelling. The two must-see matches, the Bunkhouse Battle Royal and the Best-of-Seven Series between Austin and Pillman, were incredible. It's probably my favorite PPV he's written so far.

Showcase of the Month: Bunkhouse Buck and Konnan's violent feud in Hulk Knows WCW Best II - The Alliance to End Hulkamania [1995] by Asaemon

The main event always delivers in Hulk Knows WCW Best. But what Asaemon is great at is building the undercard guys to the same level. Much has been said about The Gambler and the Hustler, about Diamond Dallas Page and Maxx Muscle, but Konnan and Bunkhouse Buck have stolen the spotlight with an intense, violent feud, starting with a great build and stealing the show at Spring Stampede. Pay attention Stamford: This is how to push a budding star into the spotlight.

Event of the Month: WCW Spring Stampede 1995 in Hulk Knows WCW Best II - The Alliance to End Hulkamania [1995] by Asaemon

This PPV was an absolute clinic in booking, storytelling and writing. Steve Austin was written perfectly, and feels like an absolute heat magnet in the IV Horsemen. The ending to and that entire Bunkhouse Stampede match? Brilliant. Love the interaction at the end between Macho and Warrior, great stuff -- builds on their time together in the 'fed without putting Vince over.

Match of the Month: Bunkhouse Battle Royal at WCW Spring Stampede 1995 in Hulk Knows WCW Best II - The Alliance to End Hulkamania [1995] by Asaemon

A great battle royal with an ingenious finish. All the competitors felt like they could win, and each had a chance to showcase themselves. Even those lower on the card left more over than they were before. Several long-term slow-build feuds and tenuous alliances built towards the finish. Lots of blood and chairs, but used well, serving a storyline purpose. Great storytelling throughout the match. Genuine character development. Great way to start the build towards Slamboree, which should be another great read. Looking forward to it.

Rookie Dairy of the Month: prowrestlingGUERRILA by Hollywood

Really enjoying Hollywood's take on PWG. He's done a great job building the universe around the company. Love the format used and the booking. His match-write ups are really good too, providing a nice balance of detail and brevity.

C-Verse Diary of the Month: The Wonderful Wizard of Ottawa - CVerse by Pteroid

Really liked Pteroid's take here. Loved the simple but funny backstory, the campy characters and general carnie atmosphere, and the always interfering and ever so aloof owner. In particular, I love Ian? and his gimmick, and particularly how Pteroid books said gimmick. It's a great throwback indie fed gimmick and it works.

Legendary Diary of the Month: NOTBPW - A Game of Stones (....and DeColts) by The Lloyd

Really enjoying The Lloyd's presentation. Love the interview segments. He's done a really good job promoting young talents and fleshing out the game world. In particular, love how believable the villains are and the slow character development. Looking forward to the imminent Joey Poison return!

Real World DOTM: A new generation... a new attitude? by to4sty

1997: War of the Worlds by Piper's Pit & Kimberly

Pro Wrestling ... But Not Quite As You Know It! by Nobby_McDonald

Another really solid month from to4sty, highlighted by the violent Bad Blood PPV.

Same goes for Nobby, who just knocked down another year (!!!) of his save.

Piper and Kimberly have both done a good job conserving the feel of the late 90s war, with an added nod to Piper's running of the WWF

Legendary DOTM: WCW: Dangerous Territory by James Casey

Hate the Game by Beejus

As much as I'd hate to nominate the two winners again <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />, these two were again really solid, with James doing a terrific job managing a bloated (with talent) with roster, and Beejus breaking out unusual stipulations to keep his main events fresh.

Event of the Month: WWF Bad Blood by to4sty

Rookie Dairy of the Month: TNA 2001: Back to the Future by OGpistolpete

WCW 97 - The Road to Global Domination by 123Kidd

Most folks have added early TNA elements to WCW. Not OG, just rip the bandaid off and call it TNA! With the addition of six man titles and some new blood, It's made for a good read.

123Kidd has picked up right where he left off with his MNW dynasty, putting out a couple of good Nitros in a very smooth format.

C-Verse Diary of the Month: NEO: It's a long way to the top (RtG) [T-Verse] by foolinc

I'm not even really familiar with the Thunderverse, but foolinc has done a good in breaking down both sides of the RTG - business and action. Plus, RTG dynasties need more love!

Lots of stuff I was thinking of has already been nominated, but a few more.

Showcase: ESE Zero To Hero - Queen vs Cobra feud - I really like simple things done well, and this is a fun feud done very well.

The Wonderful Wizard of Ottawa - The Breaks/Martin/William stuff is completely intriguing me here.

Match: The Gauntlet for the Gold - TNA 2001: Back to the Future by OGPistol Pete. Effectively written and a great way to crown a champion, playing off TNA's real life history but with better booking.

Event: AAA: Not Just A Pretty Face in AAA: Hello World, I'm Your Ch-Ch-Ch-Cherry Bomb by SoulKings. Excellent main event caps off an entertaining show.

Rookie Diary: ESE Zero to Hero by Zergon. Fun start with some really interesting characters.
