NA Heavyweight Championship: Ross Henry vs. <strong>Spencer Spade</strong> © w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments: I think it's still too early for Spencer to give up the belt again.</p><p> </p><p>

Comments: To even it up, leading to one final match later.</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Finally all caught up and great stuff! I loved Gold Rush!</p><p> </p><p>

Quick Picks</p><p>

NA Heavyweight Championship: Ross Henry vs. <strong>Spencer Spade © w/ Lisa Bowen</strong></p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

Lisa won't let her charge lose.</p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: <strong>Matty Faith</strong> vs. Ash Campbell w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

Matty Faith needs the momentum back </p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: <strong>Primus Allen</strong> vs. Harvey Robbinfield</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

The Evolution needs the win to get back into the title hunt where he belongs</p><p> </p><p>

Loser Leaves Town: <strong>David Stone</strong> vs. Paul Huntingdon</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

After that narrative from before with Paul I think he is going to leave</p><p> </p><p>

NA Tag Team Championship: Homegrown vs. <strong>The Devil's Rejects w/ February Malaise</strong> vs. Gangsta Nation © w/ Brother G</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

Devil's Rejects have been up there as my favorite since they debuted, so I want them to win</p><p> </p><p>

NA Women's Championship: Brooke Tyler vs. <strong>Jaime Quine©</strong></p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

Quine is on fire</p><p> </p><p>

Tag Team Match: <strong>The Keith Brothers</strong> vs. Bowen Services w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

Greg's big win at Gold Rush can't see him lose so soon. I could see the Keith Brothers lose if you were going for a brother v brother storyline soon.</p><p> </p><p>

GWC World Six Man Championship: <strong>The Fallen w/ Father Grim</strong> vs. The Diaz Family</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

I love the Diaz Family but the Fallen have been my favs lately. </p><p>

United States Championship: Dillion Wiuff vs. <strong>Cali Slick ©</strong></p><p>

Dillion Wiuff isn't over yet</p>

<p>I haven't logged into my account for years but i've been reading this on my morning commutes and felt the need to join in-- needless to say that your story telling is compelling and well done! It's even inspired me to sign up the likes of Riley, Scythe (I never realised he was a beast!) and the Diaz cousins. </p><p> </p><p>

As someone who has read this from start to present i have 2 "even better ifs" for your consideration... </p><p> </p><p>

1. Can you explain the hierarchy of the home belts v alliance. Because the alliance belts are referred to as world titles (which makes sense) whereas the 'North American" is the belt everyone is aiming for more...? Sometimes I find myself forgetting that someone has an alliance title.</p><p> </p><p>

2. I fully understand the struggle of creating a world class women's division, it took me about 2 years to cultivate one in my 21CW save that could pull B grade matches (Now comfortably putting on B+ to A*). It seems like you've got a great base with Alicia, Quine, Missy and Lucy but I'm missing out on the narratives/storylines that the men's division have. </p><p> </p><p>

Now I'll shut up and make my picks!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

NA Heavyweight Championship: Ross Henry vs. <strong>Spencer Spade</strong> © w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

It is clear Ross is being groomed for a run at the top and you've succeeded in creating a story arc-- for some reason it feels anti-climatic if he wins here so i'm expecting something from Lisa to screw him over. I think the money is in a future Ross v Ash programme...</p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: <strong>Matty Faith</strong> vs. Ash Campbell w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

I think Faith takes this one to build towards an epic rubber match. </p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: <strong>Primus Allen</strong> vs. Harvey Robbinfield</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

I was surprised Allen lost his match but this should be a quick detour before he runs back at Spencer. </p><p> </p><p>

Loser Leaves Town: David Stone vs. <strong>Paul Huntingdon</strong></p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

I can't remember if you have David on written so it's got to be Paul!</p><p> </p><p>

NA Tag Team Championship: Homegrown vs. The Devil's Rejects w/ February Malaise vs. <strong>Gangsta Nation</strong> © w/ Brother G</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

Devil's Rejects are solidified in the tag division. Recalling the early days i thought Homegrown would be a bigger deal but they haven't had great momentum for a while. So, I'm going with Gangsta Nation as they continue to make a name for themselves. </p><p> </p><p>

NA Women's Championship: Brooke Tyler vs. <strong>Jaime Quine</strong>©</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

I think Tyler jumped Quine once but outside of that she's just another challenger. Jaime is emerging as the proud babyface champion so I envisage her downfall to be at the hands of a bigger fish in the pond. </p><p> </p><p>

Tag Team Match: <strong>The Keith Brothers</strong> vs. Bowen Services w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

So now feels like a good time to head towards Greg v Matt, but for now they keep working well together...</p><p> </p><p>

GWC World Six Man Championship: <strong>The Fallen</strong> w/ Father Grim vs. The Diaz Family</p><p>

Comments:</p><p>

The Fallen together are a total force to be reckoned with and i think they take the Diaz Family easily, setting them up for a chase. </p><p> </p><p>

United States Championship: Dillion Wiuff vs. <strong>Cali Slick</strong> ©</p><p>

I’m glad you are enjoying the story being told and it is sold you on Riley, the Diaz Cousind and Scuthe. </p><p> </p><p> As for your questions. </p><p> </p><p> 1. This is a great question. The hierarchy goes the alliance/world titles and then the company titles. In my mind, it’s kike the old NWA. Your regional champion was the top guy in the company but when the World titles come to town it is a big deal. I try not to over use the world belts and not monopolize them — that’s why I go months between using most of them. There are some stories planned with them (as we hit the end of the year and several big shows that come with it.). I’ve been focusing on establishing all my local titles as worth fighting for — because I don’t want them to become back burner titles. </p><p> </p><p> 2. There are some planned women narratives in the future after I get back from vacation. I wanted to develop them in ring before I started giving a lot of narrative time to them — which is coming up!</p>

<p>NA Heavyweight Championship: Ross Henry vs. <strong>Spencer Spade © w/ Lisa Bowen</strong></p><p>

Comments: Tainted win for Spade, in order to keep Henry looking strong</p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: <strong>Matty Faith</strong> vs. Ash Campbell w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments: Pull yourself together, Matt!</p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: <strong>Primus Allen</strong> vs. Harvey Robbinfield</p><p>

Comments: Primus continues the Climb (see what I did there?)</p><p> </p><p>

Loser Leaves Town: <strong>David Stone</strong> vs. Paul Huntingdon</p><p>

Comments: I think the narrative gave this one away</p><p> </p><p>

NA Tag Team Championship: Homegrown vs. The Devil's Rejects w/ February Malaise vs. <strong>Gangsta Nation © w/ Brother G</strong></p><p>

Comments: Might be the toughest pick on the card, alongside the main event. Personal bias aside, I think the two contenders are established and the Nation needs to retain a bit longer here</p><p> </p><p>

NA Women's Championship: Brooke Tyler vs. <strong>Jaime Quine</strong>©</p><p>

Comments: Brooke is good, but needs to build up her US pop and a bit more skill before claiming a title</p><p> </p><p>

Tag Team Match: <strong>The Keith Brothers</strong> vs. Bowen Services w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments: The Gold Rush story didn't feel like the start of a brother vs brother feud, so I'm guessing they win</p><p> </p><p>

GWC World Six Man Championship: <strong>The Fallen w/ Father Grim</strong> vs. The Diaz Family</p><p>

Comments: The Fallen need to look like the big beasts they are and Ray Diaz is probably so deep in decline he'll take the pin</p><p> </p><p>

United States Championship: Dillion Wiuff vs. <strong>Cali Slick ©</strong></p><p>

Comments: Dillion gets a chance at a big singles match to show what he can do but isn't winning it too</p>

Quick Picks

NA Heavyweight Championship: Ross Henry vs. Spencer Spade © w/ Lisa Bowen

Comments: Spade has been great and since the Gold Rush Champion is a face I think he will prevail (I changed my mind on this result as I wrote it)

Grudge Match: Matty Faith vs. Ash Campbell w/ Lisa Bowen

Comments: Somebody already said it but I am looking for a 3rd match so Faith has to get a win somehow or it turns into a schmazzzz for a no contest forcing a 3rd match

Grudge Match: Primus Allen vs. Harvey Robbinfield

Comments: Primus is too good to lose too much. He could be a real top guy again as long as he sticks around

Loser Leaves Town: David Stone vs. Paul Huntingdon

Comments: This comes down in my mind to either Stone's contract is up and he is headed back North (which I don't think is the case) or Huntingdon with his attitude he copped several weeks back is going to get shown the door. It might be a tough go losing him with his pop etc, but if he has become a problem backstage etc then he is not worth it as you have a lot of guys that can fill in for him and still have upside. Huntindon is all down side with his age

NA Tag Team Championship: Homegrown vs. The Devil's Rejects w/ February Malaise vs. Gangsta Nation © w/ Brother G

Comments: I've lost faith in Homegrown and expect them to violently split here soon. They were never really a tag team and we kind of thrown together but I think their are bigger singles goals for both of these guys. Rejects are the better overall tag team in my opinion

NA Women's Championship: Brooke Tyler vs. Jaime Quine©

Comments: No change for me here on the Jamie Express

Tag Team Match: The Keith Brothers vs. Bowen Services w/ Lisa Bowen

Comments: You never known if their is tension with the brothers based on the Gold Rush result. They are the clear more experienced tag team here so unless they split I will stick with them

GWC World Six Man Championship: The Fallen w/ Father Grim vs. The Diaz Family

Comments: Sticking with the Beasts of Burden here

United States Championship: Dillion Wiuff vs. Cali Slick ©

Comments: Overrated but he keeps winning so I guess I take him

Comments: Not yet

Grudge Match: Matty Faith vs. Ash Campbell w/ Lisa Bowen

Comments: To make the main event even more surprising.

Grudge Match: Primus Allen vs. Harvey Robbinfield

Comments: To set up a Henry win in the main event.

Loser Leaves Town: David Stone vs. Paul Huntingdon

Comments: Stone gets the intense rub by kicking out the veteran.

<p>NA Heavyweight Championship: Ross Henry vs. <strong>Spencer Spade</strong> © w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments: Title has been hotshotted recently. Spencer needs a big win, and i think there will be a screwy finish. A certain butcher returning?</p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: <strong>Matty Faith</strong> vs. Ash Campbell w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments: First match was awesome and won by the heel. Which by default makes the second one a babyface win. To set up an epic rubber match. Did anyone say 2/3 falls?</p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: <strong>Primus Allen</strong> vs. Harvey Robbinfield</p><p>

Comments: You made it clear that Primus coming back is a big deal. So he wins here. Who is Harvey Robbinfield ?</p><p> </p><p>

Loser Leaves Town: <strong>David Stone</strong> vs. Paul Huntingdon</p><p>

Comments: You groomed Stone as a huge star. Huntington complained, got the win in the 6 man, he loses here. Probably SWF called.</p><p> </p><p>

NA Tag Team Championship: Homegrown vs. <strong>The Devil's Rejects</strong> w/ February Malaise vs. Gangsta Nation © w/ Brother G</p><p>

Comments: All 3 teams have been well booked. So the prediction is just a preference really. I can see maybe even another result. The Rejects are over so they may just become main-event heels.</p><p> </p><p>

NA Women's Championship: <strong>Brooke Tyler </strong>vs. Jaime Quine©</p><p>

Comments: Tyler has recently been on a roll</p><p> </p><p>

Tag Team Match: The Keith Brothers vs. <strong>Bowen Services</strong> w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments: Bowen Services. Because Keith vs Keith sounds too good not to happen</p><p> </p><p>

GWC World Six Man Championship: The Fallen w/ Father Grim vs. <strong>The Diaz Family</strong></p><p>

Comments: The Diaz Clan looked awesome recently and while The Fallen are dominating, The Diaz Family should have a very long reign</p><p> </p><p>

United States Championship: Dillion Wiuff vs. <strong>Cali Slick</strong> ©</p><p>

Comments: Dillion may be unbeaten, but Cali just won the belt back. So he retains here via shenanigans. Plus it could spark a face turn of someone in the Gangsta. And Gangsta wars are always fun</p>

Ross Henry challenges Spencer Spade for the North American Heavyweight championship. Spade has held the championship since May when he defeated Matty Faith. This is his second reign as champion and he’s looking at making his fourth defense tonight -- but Ross Henry is as motivated a challenger as I’ve seen. </p><p> </p><p> RDJ: I can tell you from personal experience -- a championship match in front of this many people is what all the greats live for. I can still remember beating Tommy Cornell to win the TCW World Heavyweight Champion for the first time in 2006. Hell, I can even remember all the way back to March of 1992 -- in the West Texas Coliseum -- a building we run frequently here in CWL -- when I defeated the second Outlaw to become the Texas Heavyweight Champion -- my first singles championship in my career. This could be a career defining moment for either of these guys.</p><p> </p><p> MR: Jasmine, you’re our resident historian and statistician, what do you think?</p><p> </p><p> JS: In six years as a pro, Ross Henry has shown himself to be a very capable wrestler. He won Rhode Island Pro Wrestling’s March to Victory tournament in 2018 and went on to win the RIPW Heavyweight Champion in 2019. He held the championship for just over a year, he defended it twelve times and really showed himself to be a high level competitor. Then, in January of 2021, he defeated Riley McManus to win the COTT World Heavyweight Championship and he held that until April of the same year. He’s been a big match competitor and a big-moment athlete his entire life, but this is something different all together. No disrespect to anyone Ross has wrestled, Spencer Spade looks like he was bred to be the perfect professional wrestler. He has all of the attributes you look for in a high level competitor -- and he’s been putting together the resume to back it up. Former RIPW USA Champion, two time RIPW Champion including a two-year reign that saw him defend the championship twenty-one times. He’s in his second reign as North American Champion -- which you already mentioned Michael -- and he’s as motivated a champion as I’ve ever seen. This is going to be a great match up. Ross Henry has the strength advantage, but Spade has double the experience of Henry and is still a year younger. Plus, let’s not forget that Ross Henry became a professional wrestler after a severe elbow injury and a botched repair to it. He’s already broken his forearm in the same arm. Could that be a weakness that Spencer Spade is going to exploit? You know Lisa Bowen has brought that up in strategy meetings.</p><p> </p><p> RDJ: And she could be the difference maker in this whole thing.</p><p> </p><p> The match began fast and furious. Right out of the gate, Ross Henry hit Spencer Spade with a huge clothesline that he immediately followed up with an Earthquake Powerslam -- his trademarked move. He went for the cover and almost got a three count, but Spade was able to get his shoulder up just before CWL senior official Darren Smith counted the three. This instantly got the crowd into the match. Henry stayed on the attack for the early portion of the match. A big snap suplex. A running kick to the face while Spade was seated -- each one was followed up by a pin attempt, but each time Spade kicked out.</p><p> </p><p> Lisa tried to get up on the apron to let Ross Henry know exactly what she thought of him -- but Darren Smith was right there to tell her if she got involved he would not hesitate to throw her out of the ringside area. While Smith was distracted, Spade was able to use a low blow to gain control. Spade went to work on Henry. Spade looked every bit the star that he was touted to be when he was still enrolled at the Supreme Wrestling University. He worked slow -- working over the formerly injured arm and elbow of Ross Henry.</p><p> </p><p> Henry made several attempts at a comeback, but Spade kept shutting them down. Spade does have the experience advantage in the match. Spade really seemed like he was one step ahead of Henry once he got control -- but Henry managed to block a Supreme Stunner attempt and hit Spade with a huge lariat -- using the previously injured arm to turn Spade inside out. Henry was not able to capitalize immediately -- that was the arm that Spade had been focusing on, but he did follow up with a one-armed stalling vertical suplex that had the crowd count to twenty before he dropped Spade and got a two-count that had Lisa Bowen almost collapse to the floor from nerves. </p><p> </p><p> Henry backed up to the ropes but Lisa Bowen wrapped her arms around his ankle to prevent him from launching an attack. He turned around and using his good arm -- he lifted her up to the apron by the hair. The crowd began to cheer as he looked around at them. They wanted to see Lisa Bowen get hers -- desperately. The First Lady of Continental Wrestling has been a thorn in just about everyone who is not in Bowen Services’ side for years. Before Ross could do anything; however, Spencer Spade was on the attack. He blindsided Henry, pulled him away from the ropes and hit The Supreme Stunner on the challenger. Smith slid into position and counted the one, the two, the thr -- NO! Ross Henry kicked out and the crowd went wild.</p><p> </p><p> Spade could not believe it. He pulled the former pro football MVP to his feet and hit several chops and set up for another Supreme Stunner, but Ross Henry blocked it and went right into an Earthquake Powerslam. The crowd roared. This had to be it. One.. Two..Thre -- NO! Spade just barely got his shoulder up.</p><p> </p><p> Henry pulled Spade to his feet and looked like he wanted to go for another Earthquake Powerslam, but Spade countered with a small package that almost got a three count. Both men got to their feet, Spade ducked another clothesline attempt and when Ross turned around he ate a second Supreme Stunner and this time he was not equal to it and could not kick out.</p><p> </p><p> Spencer Spade defeated Ross Henry in 23:46 by pinfall with a Supreme Stunner. Spencer Spade makes defence number 4 of his CWL North American Heavyweight title. </p><p> <img alt="bNNwRE0.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bNNwRE0.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Overall</span></strong></p><p> <img alt="LTiTJNd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LTiTJNd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p>

Initially, Gangsta's Nation was set to retain the tag titles at Last Hard Men, but Sayeed Ali received an offer -- and an offer I could not justify matching, from CGC so I had to change the plans! This was always planned to be the swansong for the Diaz trio. Raymond is pretty highly into physical decline now and will be more useful as a trainer. Logan and James will be back in 90 days with things for them to do and hopefully return to being major, major players for me.<p> </p><p> Paul was always supposed to lose this match, but it helped that SWF wanted to bring him back. I was sad to lose Monty though, as he was doing a really good job on the roster with me. The New Warlords, Dillion Wiuff, Wilma, and Clinton are all sad to see go -- and all for negative reasons. I don't like to have troublemakers in my locker room and with their negative attitudes, fights and failed drug tests -- Hard Drugs for DW and 'Roids for Clinton -- I had to let them go. We have a clean locker room, plus, I can't afford the bad press for the two drug tests.</p><p> </p><p> The Diamond Dogs did nothing wrong, I just wanted to clear up the roster spots and since they were on PPA deals, it made sense to let them walk so I have room for younger talent I have in developmental to come up.</p><p> </p></div></blockquote>

“Again.” Brooke said. Or demanded. That is a better word for it. She had always been a bit of a demanding person. She learned it from her father Eric. She was nice, but she was very type A. Things needed to be her way or she got uncomfortable. Fortunately for her, Jaime Quine was very laid back. The two had become friends working for the Stones. Quine had been the AAA stand out brought North and Brooke had been the daughter of an extreme icon trying to show herself to be something different. They had bonded. Kindred spirits or something like that.</p><p> </p><p>

Alicia Strong leaned on the apron. Her eyes narrowed. She was watching this intently. She had become friends with Brooke and Jaime in their time in North of the Border together. When she had returned to USPW, she had lobbied to bring them both into the company but Packer was not having it. They weren’t entertainers -- they were pure wrestlers and that was something that he didn’t like. Alicia didn’t care. She was the daughter of the greatest entertainer in the history of wrestling, but she was also the protege of Sensational Ogiwara. She could *work* and she wanted other women that could really work.</p><p> </p><p>

Brooke and Jaime locked up. They had a good match at The Last Hard Men, but it wasn’t good enough. Neither woman was satisfied with it. Neither woman wanted to just have good matches. So here they were. Monday afternoon. Continental Wrestling League headquarters. The training class was done for the day and they had the ring to themselves.</p><p> </p><p>

Headlock, push off, shoulder tackle, drop down, hip toss, back to the headlock. Takeover. Counter. Stand back up. Tackle. Drop down. Hip Toss countered. Get it again. They worked through their spots. Back and forth. Silent. They were learning each other. Learning movements. Positioning. Learning so they could work snug and silent. Not give anything away. Brooke prided herself on being a technical maestro. Jaime on her striking -- particularly her kicks. They made for a good combination.</p><p> </p><p>

Alicia watched. She was the World’s Champion. She had just been over in England for BPW. She had been discussing some options for a new women’s promotion to run Japan and join the alliance. Nothing had happened yet, but she was championing it. Plenty of women could run it. Could give women another place to work and another opportunity to defend the World Women’s Championship. She would be heading to Mexico soon for OLLIE. Then probably North of the Border. She was a busy woman and she was loving it. She loved touring. She loved being the representative of women’s wrestling for the whole organization. She took pride in it.</p><p> </p><p>

Just like she took pride in Brooke and Jaime. Alicia and Jaime were the same age, had been wrestling the same amount of time, but Alicia had spent her whole career on the big stages. Five time USPW Women’s Champion. She had been the face of women’s wrestling in America -- and now was the face of women’s wrestling in the world. The three best women’s divisions in North America were represented by her. The best women’s division in Europe was represented by her. Jaime had come up the hard way. Had cut her teeth in Seattle. She had proved herself. Alicia liked that. Brooke had proved herself with some fantastic matches against Amber Allen.</p><p> </p><p>

Now here they were. Alicia rolled under the bottom rope. “My turn.” She said. </p><p> </p><p>

Jaime nodded. “I need some water anyway.”</p><p> </p><p>

Alicia and Brooke looked at each other. Brooke was covered in a sheen of sweat. Alicia was fresh. They grinned at one another. This was going to be fun...</p>

We are coming to you from Ellison's in beautiful Hawaii overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Last week, we presented The Last Hard Men that saw Spencer Spade successfully defend the North American Heavyweight Championship against Ross Henry. Who will be the next challenger for the championship? We hope to find out! In our main event, "Bulldozer" Brandon Smith steps into the ring with "The Omega Man" Harvey Robbinfield in what should be an excellent contest. The Mission will be in tag team action as they take on the European Stretching Crew -- a team that has been competing in Texas Grappling League and were competing in Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods.</p><p> </p><p> RDJ: What a match up that should be. Pavel and Nigel are two hard-hitting, technical-minded European wrestlers that could become one of the top teams in the world with their experience and ability. What a challenge they have in front of them in the form of The Mission.</p><p> </p><p> JS: But before we get to all that, the Champion is scheduled to address us all!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><img alt="vqLKfQh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vqLKfQh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="9CEP5Gv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9CEP5Gv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> Spencer Spade comes down to the ring. I said I would leave The Last Hard Men as your North American Heavyweight Champion and here I am…. STILL THE CHAMPION! Just like I said I would be. The Era of Supreme lives on. I told you all when I came here that I had one goal. I was going to raise the profile of Continental Wrestling. I’m the greatest sports entertainer in the world and I wanted to help CWL take the jump to being the most dominant wrestling company in North America and we are well on our way, because of me. You are all welcome!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="QruqBvM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/QruqBvM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Spencer is cut off by the arrival of “The Evolution” Primus Allen.</p><p> </p><p> PA: Spence, I’ve been right where you’re at. MR: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill packed edition of Saturday Night Slammasters. We are coming to you from ??. Last week on Slammasters, we learned that at Halloween Throwdown we will have two blockbuster matches. Our main event will pit “The Evolution” Primus Allen against the reigning North American Heavyweight Champion, “The Supreme Star” Spencer Spade. In our co-main event of the evening, Ross Henry challenges former GWC World Heavyweight Champion, Gino Montero.

RDJ: Ross Henry feels like he was robbed against Spencer Spade. He feels like Lisa Bowen’s presence at ringside and her getting involved definitely impacted his chances at winning. He may not be wrong -- but as Ms. Hunter pointed out, it does disqualify him from a rematch or a World’s Title opportunity -- but a win over Gino Montero could catapult Ross Henry back into discussion for a chance at the North American Heavyweight Championship or even better, the World’s Heavyweight Championship.

JS: It is definitely a great opportunity for Ross Henry, but one has to wonder… is Ross Henry a big match competitor? He’s been very successful as an athlete. He was a big game performer in professional football. He was very successful when he competed for RIPW and he even defeated Riley McManus for the COTT World’s Championship at the sixth anniversary show. Since that victory, he has not won a championship. At thirty-three years old and six years a professional, you have to wonder if the injury to his elbow that ended his football career and the broken forearm he suffered against Killer Shark have put him at a defecit he can’t overcome.

MR: Are you saying he’s past his prime, Jasmine?

JS: I’m saying we can’t ignore the long term effects of major injuries. He *shattered* his elbow as a football player. It ended his career. That’s how serious of an elbow injury it was -- it kept him from being able to play the game of football at not just an elite level, but a professional level. He broke the forearm in the same arm -- a forearm he broke clotheslining his opponent. Is the arm structurally weaker? Will it prevent him from being an elite, big match competitor? Gino Montero is a former World’s Champion. He’s been dominant since returning to OLLIE. He’s the son of one of the greatest luchadores of all time. Gino knows how to dissect a weakness. He’s going to be looking at the arm -- and I’m just concerned that Ross Henry’s arm is going to keep him from ever reaching the top of the sport like he wants.

RDJ: As someone who has been World’s Champion and competed at a very high level, major injuries like the one Ross sustained can have a lingering effect -- so we will have to find out at Halloween Throwdown just how the effects will continue to impact him.

MR: We will, but tonight, in our main event, KC Glenn will be going one on one with “Cowboy” Buck Winchester. The Hazard Gang returned to CWL this summer and have been plaguing the Georgia Bulldogs since. Riley McManus managed to defeat “Outlaw” Wes Revell a few weeks ago, will his partner score a big victory here? Or will the Cowboy ride out of town with the victory? Find out in our main event.

RDJ: But first, Dan Stone III and Nolan Dunn -- representing the Stone Foundation will be in tag team action against The European Stretching Crew. Let’s go to the ring for our introductions.

The Stone Foundation versus The European Stretching Crew

In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and non-existent crowd heat, Pavel Vanzycha and Nigel Svensson defeated Dan Stone III and Nolan Dunn in 8:35 when Pavel Vanzycha defeated Dan Stone III by submission with a Cross Armlock after interference from Sonny Wildside. During the match we also had Hugh Ancrie run in and attack Dunn.

Dan Stone III and Nolan Dunn are still on the mat as Sonny Wildside, Robby Griffin and Hugh Ancrie slide fully into the ring and begin to put the boots to the three men. The European Stretching Crew shrug and leave. Sonny Wildside hits both DSIII and Nolan Dunn with his Fear Factor, leaving both men laying.

MR: Up next, Pearl Flanders -- who has been competing in Texas Grappling League, has an opportunity to impress CWL management as she steps into the ring with Tiffany Jade. Jade has been on fire recently with several big wins. Jade is looking to earn a chance to challenge Jaime Quine for the North American Women’s Championship and another win would surely help her case.

Suddenly, the aforementioned North American Women’s Champion, Jaime Quine walks out onto the entrance ramp. She’s holding the Women’s Championship over her shoulder. She walks down to the ring and takes a seat at the timekeepers table.

JS: It seems like Jaime Quine knows that Tiffany Jade might be her opponent at Halloween Throwdown and wants to get a ringside look at her potential opponent.

CP: We did it. Once again Homegrown is on top of the tag team mountain. We dem boys. We the champs. We’re incredibly proud to hold these belts. To be the top of the totem pole. It means a lot to us.

JY: You’re darn right it does. A lot of people thought us teaming was curious. Two big hosses trained here. Got our careers started here. Clyde and I believe in Continental Wrestling. It’s why we’re here. We believe in what we’re doing and we believe in one another. We believe that we are the best team in wrestling.

CP: And to prove it, we talked to CWL management. We had them send out information to all of the members of the Global Wrestling Council. We want the best teams in wrestling. We want an opportunity to be North American Tag Team and World Tag Team Champions at the same time. We’ve been told that a great team is in store for us at Halloween Throwdown. A team is coming in special to challenge us for these belts.

JY: We don’t know who they are, but we do know this. We are Homegrown. We were born here. We represent this company and we will take on all challengers. We aren’t backing down from a single fight. You can count on that.”

LB: At Halloween Throwdown, my Bowen Services will be in action against The Mission & Bulldozer Brandon Smith. My Bowen Services will reign supreme. Because I’m the best manager in the business. I know how to acquire great talent. I know how to get them to sign on the dotted line and I know how to push talent to be the best. That’s why we have the North American Heavyweight Championship. That’s why we will have the North American Tag Team Championship soon enough. Because we are greatness personified.

- Funakoshi has signed an exclusive written deal with Continental Wrestling League. The experienced Japanese veteran was most recently competing for Dragon Kingdom Pro Wrestling before budget cuts ended his tenure there. The thirty-five year old veteran brings sixteen years of experience and has already made a splash in CWL by winning the United States Championship.

- Cali Slick has signed an exclusive contract with Canadian Golden Combat. He joins Sayeed Ali on the Canadian company's roster. We wish the former two-time United States Champion all of the best.

- Hustle Muvva has signed an exclusive contract with TCW. The experienced brawler will help liven up their card. We wish him all of the best in his future endeavors.

Author's Note: I hope I made up for the lack of content during my vacation with some quality content here. I was very sad to essentially lose all of Gangsta Nation within a month. Sayeed left... two weeks later Cali and Hustle both got offers that I couldn't afford to match. I'm most sad about losing Cali. He was incredibly valuable on the roster. Hopefully he'll do great things for CGC.
