What a card... show must be at least 2 hours long for all that to go down!

Comment: I'm having trouble seeing how Riley can win this, but I really don't think he won the title just to lose it immediately back to Spade

<p>Not quite up-to-date yet, but I just read the Anniversary show and HAD to comment!</p><p> </p><p>

</p><ol style="list-style-type:decimal;"><li>My girl Jaime Quine got screwed!<br /></li><li>I almost popped out loud (at work) when you announced Ross Henry vs Tommy Cornell! It may not have been what you wanted to do on this show, but IMO it was even better!<br /></li><li>Spencer Spade coming out to Avenged Sevenfold made me love him even more! Not my favourite song by them, but they're one of my favourite bands, if not my favourite!<br /></li><li>Go on, Riley! #MrCWL<br /></li></ol><p></p>

My boy, Panda Mask II, the main champion in the third biggest company in the world? Best game world ever! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Historian" data-cite="Historian" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="LwiCz3j.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LwiCz3j.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Her small hands gripped the ring skirt. Her eyes were partially hidden behind the glamorous sunglasses she wore to ringside as part of her gimmick. They, like normal, matches her whole outfit. Everything had to match. She put a lot of time and effort into planning out her outfits and tonight was the Seventh Anniversary. Tonight’s outfit had to be extra special. While she was not on the initial roster for CWL, she had been here for a long time. She had joined them in December of 2016, just before they ended their first year of operation, right after Sam Keith had told her that he was finishing her up. That had been six years ago. In that time, she had managed a lot of talent. The Gods of Thunder. Primus Allen. The Ring Generals. The list goes on and on. She had managed champions. She’d been on shows four or five times. She’d managed in the main events of the Anniversary Show, Wrestling Summit, Gold Rush… All of the big shows. She was the featured manager of the organization. </p><p> </p><p> Tonight was probably the biggest night for her. The main event of the Seventh Anniversary. Ringside for what she knew was going to be the biggest moment of her husband’s career -- and she was getting to watch it while managing his opponent. Their relationship was not brought up on camera. It was a behind the scenes thing. They didn’t make it a storyline or use it to sell tickets. It was for them, it wasn’t for the public. It didn’t have to be, but it made moments like this more challenging. She couldn’t react in the way she wanted. She had to stay in character. She couldn’t be Lisa McManus -- she had to be Lisa Bowen.</p><p> </p><p> So she threw her hands into her hair as Riley grunted and lifted Spencer up. She waved her hands to try to beg Riley not to do it as he dropped Spencer shin-first over the top rope and Spencer ricocheted, or slingshotted, back up and Riley carried him over for the biggest, most important slingshot suplex of his career. They landed with a loud thud in the center of the ring. The carpet-covered wooden beams giving such a great sound that echoed off the walls of the Theatre of Dreams.</p><p> </p><p> She leaned against the apron and yelled at Spencer. She played her role as her husband -- covered in sweat and with red welts over his chest from the stiff chops of Spencer Spade -- collapsed ontop of his downed opponent. She was supposed to try to will Spencer to kick out. So she threw all of her energy into that. “Spencer! Get up! Kick out! Spencer!” She called out. She begged. Her voice carrying over the silence of a building that was holding its collective breath. </p><p> </p><p> Darren Smith slid into position. He was the best referee in American pro wrestling history. Four times he was voted referee of the year. He’d been refereeing for over forty years. He was the man who refereed all of SWF’s top matches for three decades. Countless title matches. Countless main events. Here he was, his eyes on Spencer’s shoulders. His hand came up and came down.</p><p> </p><p> One.</p><p> </p><p> “Spencer, please! Spencer!”</p><p> </p><p> Two.</p><p> </p><p> “Spencer. Now. His hand is coming down. Spencer!”</p><p> </p><p> Three.</p><p> </p><p> As if on cue, the collective breath was released and the crowd exploded and she played the part of the defeated manager and collapsed to her knees. Her hands holding the apron skirt. Her face resting against it. If you were behind her, you couldn’t see her face. Her body language; though, told you she was beside herself that her charge had lost. Her face… her face told a different story. She couldn’t stop smiling. Hot tears tried to spill out behind clinched eyes.</p><p> </p><p> Riley had worked unbelievably hard for Robert Oxford over the past seven years. He had poured everything he was into this company. When he said that in promos, the fans responded because they knew it was true. They had seen it. They had seen him grow sure of himself. He had come to them as the twenty-nine year old technician that had been a good hand in the Mid Atlantic area and a standout in the Georgia independent scene but had never been the guy anywhere. Through circumstances beyond his control, he had to carry the ball for Oxford and he never let it go. He never complained about the workload. For years, Riley had lived behind the company headquarters so he could be the first to the building and the last to leave. For years, Riley had done whatever was asked. He bled when he was asked. He turned heel when he was asked. He did the job when he was asked. He was a company man and tonight -- in front of the largest crowd CWL had ever produced, he got to win the North American Heavyweight Championship for the third time -- but the first time since they had been on TV. The first time since they became CWL and not RMW. The first time for a national audience and not just the Northwest.</p><p> </p><p> She pushed herself back to her feet and moved around the ring to where Spencer Spade was selling on the floor. She had to help him to the back. She wanted to get in the ring and throw her arms around her husband. She wanted to tell him that she loved him and she was proud of him. She wanted to let him know that he deserved this moment. Instead, she pulled Spencer Spade up to his feet and looked at Riley in the ring. He was standing on the middle rope in one of the corners -- facing her and Spencer. The beautiful, Christian Shane designed belt held over his head. The proud warrior.</p><p> </p><p> “I hate you, Riley McManus! I hate you!” She screamed with all the vitriol she could manage. He lowered the belt and looked right at her and Spencer. He smiled and kissed the championship. It was meant to be insulting to Spencer. Riley was the man now. He had ended the Supreme Star’s reign. Lisa and Spencer sold it as such, but inside, Lisa couldn’t be happier.</p><p> </p><p> “We’ll get you, Riley! You won’t last!” She gave one last cry out before she and Spencer disappeared behind the curtain to let Riley have his moment in the spotlight. With the crowd out of sight, she no longer had to be Lisa Bowen. Now she was Lisa McManus and now the tears she had been holding back, the tears of joy and of pride could flow without shame.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Man, what a narrative! I'm still pulling for a Bowen face turn and union with her husband!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Historian" data-cite="Historian" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="padding: 10px; border: 0px solid #035096; margin:10px;background: #FFFFFF; max-width:1000px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19); background-image:url();background-position:center;background-repeat:no-repeat;background-size:contain;"><table style="border: 5px solid #cd7f32; background: #E0E0E0; box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19); background-image:url();background-repeat:repeat-y;background-size:contain;background-position:center;"; cellpadding="5px"; frame="box"; width="100%"><tr valign="top"><p> <td></p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="JUaf1Bv.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/JUaf1Bv.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Hunter Released</span></span></strong></p><p> </p><p> Hailey Hunter was released from her contract with CWL. We are coming to you live from the sold out Theatre of Dreams with ten thousand fans packed to the rafters and they are all here to see what promises to be one of the best wrestling shows to happen in North America this year. I’m joined in the broadcast booth as always by one of the real legends of the sport, he’s a hall of famer and a former three-time World Heavyweight Champion. I am of course talking about The Sheriff, Ricky Dale Johnson. </p><p> </p><p> RDJ: Thank you for that introduction Lee and it’s a pleasure to once again be in the broadcast booth along side you for what I am sure is going to be a classic night of action. For the first time ever in CWL, the North American Heavyweight Championship will be decided in a ladder match between two men that just can’t stand each other.</p><p> </p><p> LB: They definitely can’t stand each other. In today’s day and age, they are not two men you would think of for a ladder match, but the challenger’s camp specifically requested a ladder match. Fans, we can promise you this. This will not be a ladder match of flips and dives -- but a ladder match of two men who are going to beat the holy hell out of one another until only one can climb the ladder and retrieve the North American Championship.</p><p> </p><p> RDJ: And that’s not all. The GWC World Heavyweight Championship is on the line as Ross Henry defends against Ash Campbell in what is sure to be a hotly contested contest. The Diaz Cousins challenge Homegrown for the North American Tag Team titles and so much more. Can you believe the line up we have tonight, Lee?</p><p> </p><p> LB: I certainly cannot and the first match is just about to start, so let’s take it ringside for the introductions.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Opening Match</strong></p><p> 20 Man Battle Royal</p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">$10,000 Prize To Winner</span></p><p> <img alt="MWcNWMu.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MWcNWMu.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> The eighth annual Wrestling Summit Started off with a hotly contested battle royal between twenty wrestlers vying for ten thousand dollars. There was some star power in this battle royal with Greg Keith, Jeffery Aroma, Ox Mastadon KC Glenn, and several other big names in this. It was a pretty standard battle royal, but the crowd was very into it. </p><p> </p><p> Ox Mastadon, in only his second televised match back after a major concussion clearly does not look like the wrestler he once was. The former dominant North American Heavyweight Champion was slow and looked out of place. He did eliminate Kurt Cummo and Masked Superstar before getting eliminated by KC Glenn. Hammer Hadley and KC Glenn went at it for quite some time and showed some potential there. Alexander Vasquez was very brutal and while he only knotted himself one elimination he continues to impress as the Butcher. Johnny Anderson was very active -- the big man kept flying around the ring to do damage. He and Jeffery Aroma had a very cool stand off and looked like they were going to throw blows, but ended up working together to pummel several other wrestlers in the match.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Order Of Elimination</span></p><p> 1. He’s been one of the stand out performers for the Joel Bryant led group and he was getting the opportunity here to show how he’s developed against one of the most consistent performers on the roster and currently one half of the World Tag Team Champions. </p><p> </p><p> The match started with Vessey not taking Reeves seriously, which allowed Reeves to seize control and really did seize control and got the crowd really behind him before Vessey cut him off and hit a Vessey Driver II to get the win -- but only after Reeves looked very impressive.</p><p> </p><p> Cameron Vessey defeated Floyd Reeves in 7:44 by pinfall with a Vessey Driver II.</p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Singles Match</strong></p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="qY2ovB0.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qY2ovB0.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="ZPSijPY.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZPSijPY.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="LC8rqZh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LC8rqZh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="wRw12Rl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wRw12Rl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Keith Holly w/ February Malaise versus "Lionheart" Funakoshi ©</p><p> </p><p> This match would have fit in not only here at the Theatre of Dreams but also at the historic Takamatsu Athletics Stadium. The unbeaten champion, Funakoshi against a man who has been employed by CWL for his entire career and has primarily been known as a tag team wrestler but is looking to step out on his own. Both men were at their absolute best. Not many men can make Funakoshi look small, but the 6’7”, near 370lb Keith Holly did just that. Holly worked like we’ve never seen him work -- like a true singles star in this match. Everything these two men did was believable. It was hard hitting. There was no wasted motion and it was a real coming out party for Keith Holly. There was a brilliant exchange about ten minutes in where each man hit a lariats on the other. Lariats that hit so hard they echoed off the walls of the Theatre of Dreams. Funakoshi hit a series of chops on the tattoed torso of Holly where you could literally see the sweat flying off Holly’s chest with each impact of Funakoshi’s hand.</p><p> </p><p> Funakoshi hit a Butterfly Backbreaker on Keith Holly and went to make the pin, but official Ray Johnson was busy arguing with February Malaise and was not in position to make the count. The Lionheart got up to confront them when Johnny Anderson hit the ring and blasted him from behind with a biker’s chain. Funakoshi dropped and Anderson high tailed it and allowed Keith Holly to get to his feet and hit the Reaper Breaker and make the cover to win his first singles championship.</p><p> </p><p> Keith Holly defeated Funakoshi in 18:17 by pinfall with a Reaper Breaker. Keith Holly wins the CWL United States title. </p><p> <img alt="LTiTJNd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LTiTJNd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>15 Woman Mayhem Battle Royal</strong></p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Number One Contender To the Women's Championship</span></p><p> <img alt="4yGkxMb.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4yGkxMb.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Our second battle royal of the evening, but this was a mayhem style battle royal. This meant that to be eliminated you had to be pinned for to be forced to submit. Both CWL referees Darren Smith and Ray Johnson were assigned this contest. Three women from TGL were in this match, rookie Serena Savage, former Texas Women’s Champion Donna Cook, and reigning Texas Women’s Champion Emma Bitch. It was a good hard hitting contest and the rookie Serena Savage definitely impressed in this up.</p><p> </p><p> Tiffany Jade took a wicked fall from the top rope and landed on her ankle all sorts of wrong and was put out right after by the closest woman to her.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Elimination Order</span></p><p> 1. Tyler and Quine continued to their excellent series of matches with a slow paced, technical affair that saw each woman jockeying for control and technical superiority. Slowly, the match sped up into a blistering affair of both women trying to top the other. Both want to be North American Women’s Champion -- they know what that means. Jaime has been there twice and is looking for her third run with the belt. Brooke just got there. Jaime climbed to the top rope and went for a moonsault -- not a move she does often, but nobody was home and Brooke immediately locked in the Brooke Breaker after this in the center of the ring and got the submission.</p><p> </p><p> Brooke Tyler defeated Jaime Quine in 18:05 by submission with a Brooke Breaker. Stone fit right in in this contest and actually gave The Mission a technical prowess that they were lacking before. The Fallen continued their physical dominance, but the collective heart of The Mission and David Stone was too much and after the match broke down into a pier six fight that saw Ranger, the near seven footer, do a huge dive over the top rope onto both Torment and Hellion and then saw David Stone, primarily a mat based wrestler, channel his uncle Edd with some sort of spiral moonsault flippy thing onto the pile, Matty Faith hit a picture-perfect Leap of Faith onto Scythe to secure the World Six Man titles for his trio.</p><p> </p><p> David Stone and The Mission defeated The Fallen (Scythe, Hellion and Torment) in 18:50 when Matty Faith defeated Scythe by pinfall with a Leap Of Faith. The two men had a superb match, with Ash Campbell showing the all-around style of wrestling he has perfected with the same willingness of his father to take a beating. Henry showcased his natural athleticism as well as his understanding of how to present himself like a star. This had a big fight feel and the crowd was into everything they did. At one point, Ash Campbell hit Ross Henry with two successive Ash to Ash sitout swinging neckbreakers and almost got the fall but Ross just barely managed to get his hand up. Ash climbed to the top rope and went for the Shooting Star Press but found himself crashing midsection first onto Ross Henry’s knees. This is the match that sold the building out for the first time. The rematch of the best match in CWL history. Spencer Spade, the unquestioned top bad guy in the organization and Riley McManus, the heartbeat of the organization. They were tailor made to wrestle each other.</p><p> </p><p> It’s important to note that Riley McManus did not come out with the North American Heavyweight Championship. Instead, “Pistol” Pete Hall presented senior CWL official Darren Smith with a brand new, courtesy of ReapeR Designs, North American Heavyweight Championship that was then suspended on a cable above the ring.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="4LFKHCo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4LFKHCo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Neither Riley or Spencer scream men who should be in ladder matches, but they worked the match perfectly. They didn’t rush to the ladder -- they rushed to beat each other up. This was a physical, bar fight of a wrestling match. They threw lots of strikes. There were only two ladders at ringside and they used one of them superbly as a weapon, with both men being driven into it, slammed on it, had it slammed on them. Both men bled from both their heads and their arms and Riley even bled from his back after a wicked suplex onto the ladder.</p><p> </p><p> They each kept trying to get up the ladder -- but were cut off each time. At one point, Spade was merely moments away from securing the championship when Riley threw his own body into the ladder and knocked the ladder over and crotched Spencer Spade on the top rope.</p><p> </p><p> With one ladder in the ring, Riley McManus laid the other ladder horizontally from the ring apron across to the guard rail. He pulled Spencer Spade onto the ring apron and lifted him up into the air and dropped him leg first over the top rope and used the momentum to Slingshot Suplex Spencer Spade onto the set up ladder -- which caved under the impact of Spade’s body. The crowd chanted “Holy S**t, Holy S**t” over and over after this while Riley slowly rolled into the ring, set the unbroken ladder up and made the eternal climb to the top.</p><p> </p><p> Spade was not moving as Riley McManus retrieved the North American Heavyweight Championship and made the successful defense.</p><p> </p><p> Riley McManus defeated Spencer Spade in a Ladder match in 27:46 when Riley McManus retrieved the item. Riley McManus makes defence number 1 of his CWL North American Heavyweight title. </p><p> <img alt="6w5JgmO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6w5JgmO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p>

CWL has exercised its option to cancel its contract with OnDem. Citing unhappiness with how its shows were performing when broadcast on the subscription network, CWL has signed a Pay-Per-View contract with MySelectUSA for monthly events, with the hope that the new deal with MySelectUSA and the television deal with NCTV will continue to allow the organization to grow.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Condolences</span></span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

CWL sends its condolences to the families of "Crippler" Ray Kingman and Mickey Starr. The two men passed away on the same day. Kingman was 76 years old and Starr was 77. Both men were major stars in professional wrestling during the 1970s and 1980s, with Mickey Starr being the early centerpiece of Richard Eisen's SWF, and Ray Kingman being known as one of the best wrestlers on the planet for the better part of two decades. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families.</p><p> </p><p>

The jeep pulled up to a stop in front of an old farmhouse in the Brighton area of Colorado. KC let the engine of the jeep idle for a moment before shutting it off. He climbed out of the jeep and walked around to the otherside to let Marjorie out. She was blindfolded and had a playful smile on her face.</p><p> </p><p>

“I smell fresh air. Clear air.” Marjorie said as KC pulled the blindfold off of her. She blinked several times and looked around. “Why are we here?” She asked as she moved towards the house. She didn’t notice that the “For Sale” sign said sold. All she noticed was this was the house that she had told KC about. Her dream house to live in. A three bed, two bathroom ranch house on twenty acres with mountain views in the background. Her paradise. She could have horses and chickens and a couple cows and pigs. Her Walden.</p><p> </p><p>

KC rested against the jeep and let her take it in. She looked around and saw the sign. “Someone bought it.” She said with a frown.</p><p> </p><p>

“Yes, I did.” KC said. It took a long moment for her to realize what he said.</p><p> </p><p>

“You bought this house?” She asked. “Kevin Christopher Glenn… What did you do?”</p><p> </p><p>

“I bought this house.” He said with a sly smile and she looked at him in complete and utter shock.</p><p> </p><p>

“You bought this f****ing house?”</p><p> </p><p>

“I did. Put the down payment on it and signed the mortgage and everything.” He replied with his hands in his pockets. She turned away from him and looked at the house. All of the nights she had told him what she would do with it. How she’d decorate it. Where she’d put an above-ground, maybe even an in-ground pool. The barn with the stalls already set up. Already ready. The out building she could convert into a production office so she could do more work from home. The other barn they could put a wrestling ring in if KC wanted. They would have options. </p><p> </p><p>

“You bought this house. I can’t believe it. We’re going to live here.” She said with her back to him. Some women would probably be mad if you bought a house without talking to them. Some would be furious and probably refuse to live there, but this was her dream house. She was just so hesitant. KC was not. He wanted to put down permanent roots. He was tired of living in an apartment. He was a Southern boy, used to wide open spaces and pecan trees and fresh air. There would be no pecan trees here, but it would do.</p><p> </p><p>

Marjorie turned around towards KC and found him no longer standing. He was down on a knee. One knee. With his hands in front of him. Holding out a ring box with a classic solitaire style diamond ring on a white gold band. </p><p> </p><p>

KC looked up at her. The love of his life. The mother of his daughter. “Marjorie Anne Oxford. Will you marry me?”</p><p> </p><p>

She blinked several times to hold back the tears. “Yes. Of course. Yes.”</p>

I looked around the room at everyone gathered here. We were in the brand new CWL office space. The brand new CWL boardroom. With our continued expansion, we could no longer operate our business affairs out of the old retail space we were using. We still owned that building -- it would still serve as our training facility and merchandise fulfillment, but our corporate headquarters were a couple of miles up the road in a building that had been an insurance building. It was a two story building that would house our production studio and all our official offices. A place we could bring sponsors and accountants and lawyers that was a little more secure.</p><p> </p><p>

Marjorie, KC and Riley were with me. I had asked them here. They were seated at the table and I stood looking at them. I was surprisingly nervous. At sixty-two years old, I didn’t get nervous very often but I was right now. I had placed a folder in front of them.</p><p> </p><p>

“When I started Rocky Mountain Wrestling, it was a limited liability corporation that I owned the entirety of. The LLC was designed to limit my own personal liability and protect the company. As we’ve grown, we’ve taken on more income and as such, need to change how we do business. Especially as we have more assets now -- we have almost one hundred produced television shows. We have our catalogue of live events. We have merchandise and trademarks and intellectual property which all needs to belong to the company. We have contracts with media providers. We own production equipment and facilities. So, I have gone about the process of switching the organization from Rocky Mountain Wrestling, LLC to a corporation. Continental Wrestling League is now owned by Continental Sports Group, Incorporated.”</p><p> </p><p>

They looked at me with only mild interest. I pushed on.</p><p> </p><p>

“I called you all here, because this directly affects you. With it being a corporation, there are now shares of the company. In setting up the company, I maintained fifty five percent of the shares of the company and thus a controlling interest. My other two children, who have no real interest in the business as of yet, are getting two and a half percent of the company each. That brings us to sixty percent of the company being spoken for and another forty percent of the company to go. I made the decision that the forty percent is going to go to you three. KC and Marjorie, with the announcement of your engagement, collectively you two hold twenty-five percent of the company. Riley. You’ve been here since day one. You have been the backbone of this organization and as a result, I am giving you fifteen percent of the company.”</p><p> </p><p>

Riley looked around. “You’re giving me an ownership stake in the company?”</p><p> </p><p>

I nodded at him. “Yes. I am. This is the way it used to work in pro wrestling. If you were a top star in a territory, if you worked hard, you got a percentage of the office. With the rise of corporate wrestling, that went by the wayside. Well, I still believe in it. You’ve been my top guy. You’ve been essential to this company and it is important to me that you are with the company for the long haul.”</p><p> </p><p>

Riley ran his fingers through his hair. I could tell he wasn’t expecting this. “Thank you.”</p><p> </p><p>

I nodded to him. “You’re welcome. This also means we will, by accordance of law, have a board of directors. I will be the President of the Board of Directors. You will all sit on the board along with Pete Hall, Ricky Dale Johnson, Sean McFly and Joel Bryant. Together, we will lead CWL to the future. Together we will continue our climb and become the dominant professional wrestling group in the United States.”</p><p> </p><p>

I swallowed and exhaled. I had done it. I had officially taken the company from a small little start up to having a board of directors. I was incredibly proud. At sixty-two, I was still filled with all of the energy and gusto for the business as I had ever been and I was proud to see the business I started grow. I was also proud to share the ownership with my daughter and her future husband. I was proud to give Riley and ownership stake. Continental Wrestling League was here for the long haul.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

This is no longer a C-Verse diary, it’s a Riley-Verse! And given how most of my games have a tendency to break up couples I’m always worried when I see KC and Marjorie get a narrative together so I’m relieved <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Keep up the excellent work!

<p>Man, I've not been commenting as much but I have been keeping up... I just want to say again how truly amazing this dynasty is. It's seriously impressive and immersive. I look forward to it every time I see a new post. I love the latest development with the corporate changes and I wonder if it will have any effect on the narratives and the company.</p><p> </p><p>

Also, side note, I really like Talia Quinzel and I'm hoping her injury can be used as a reset for her. Maybe a change to her character or something, but something that allows her to get a push!</p>
