Becky begins tiring and the referee checks her arm. It falls once, twice, but on the third Becky stops her arm and begins feeling the energy of the crowd. She delivers three right hands but Nia won’t let go, so Becky bites her on her nose. Nia drops her and shoves her away. Becky tries to whip Nia into the opposite corner but Nia reverses and Becky hits hard. Nia charges shoulder first but Becky moves and Nia hits the post. She backs up slowly buy Becky dropkicks her in the rear driving her back into the post. Nia backs out fully, bent over and holding her shoulder. Becky grabs her and with ultimate effort hits a snap suplex. She doesn’t waste time and locks in the Dis-Arm-Her. The opening happens when McIntyre goes for an early Claymore which Ambrose ducks and dives to his corner to make the tag. Rollins is on fire, hitting a series of slingblade clotheslines on McIntyre then nailing a pinpoint dropkick on Ziggler, sending him off the apron. McIntyre looks dazed as Rollins keeps up the action and when the referee forces him way as McIntyre is in the ropes, Ambrose comes over and gets in some shots to the crowd’s delight.. McIntyre staggers to the middle of the ring where Rollins connects with a running knee to the jaw Rollins looks to his corner and Ambrose who’s dying for the tag. With a look to the crowd for their approval the tag is made and Ambrose is ready for round two. He goes after McIntyre and Ziggler back and forth. Ambrose goes to the second rope to measure McIntyre for a elbow but Ziggler connects with a superkick and Ambrose tumbles to the outside. Meanwhile as Rollins comes into the ring to protest and the referee blocks him, McIntyre blasts them both with a splash into the corner. With Ambrose on the outside and the referee down, McIntyre and Ziggler take advantage double teaming Rollins. Suddenly Ambrose is up and grabs a chair from ringside. He slides in and jabs Ziggler in the ribs before winding up to swing at McIntyre, but Drew moves and Ambrose swings at Rollins. At the very last second he’s able to pull back and the two teammates stare at each other for a moment before McIntyre has bounded off the ropes and delivers a Claymore to the back of Ambrose’s head, knocking him--and the chair--into Rollins, sending the Kingslayer to the outside. McIntyre makes the cover and Ziggler drags the referee over to make the three count. Cena takes it in stride. He tells Strowman its more than legacy. It’s about the kids out there with the armbands and it’s about the 600 people he’s met who aren’t sure they’ll see the sun rise the next day sometimes. Never give up isn’t a cool shirt or a throwaway catchphrase. It’s a life mantra and at WrestleMania he may win that title or he may lose, but he promises Strowman that if he wants to keep it...he’ll have to earn it. Cena signs the paper and as the two men go face to face Angle talks up the match one more time. As Maverick shouts instructions Akam and Rezar punish him and the one time he gets close to a tag, Akam runs over and blasts Wilder off the apron before dragging Dawson back to their corner where Rezar drops an elbow on his back. The match continues in the same fashion with Dawson barely able to kick out of a few pin attempts. Finally, with Dawson barely moving Maverick yells for the tag. He makes the cover but Wilder not only breaks it up, he grabs Maverick and launches him into the Revival’s corner. Maverick hits hard and lands in a heap. Wilder gets back into the corner and yells for Dawson to make the tag. Dawson drags himself but right before he gets there, Rezar gets in the ring and distracts the referee who misses the tag, When the ref turns around he forces Wilder out of the ring. Meanwhile Akam is trying to drag Maverick back to the champions’ corner but Dawson has Maverick by the hair. Maverick screams in pain as he’s pulled in two directions but Dawson reaches up and makes the tag. Wilder hits the ring and smashes Akam in the face with a forearm before whipping him into Rezar who had just entered the ring. The AOP are staggered and the Revival send them over the top with dual clotheslines. Maverick now recognizes his position and he tries to exit the ring but the Revival catch him by the waistline of his pants. Dawson is tagged back in while Wilder runs around the ring and dropkicks Rezar into Akam, stunning them again. Dawson meanwhile has hit a few old school moves such as an atomic drop and the old ten count while slamming Maverick’s head into the turnbuckles. Wilder hops up onto the apron and gets the tag and the challengers quickly hit the Shatter Machine. As the referee makes the count, Akam and Rezar are stepping through the ropes and Wilder kicks the middle rope crotching them both and letting the referee finish his count. Shane and Triple H have a short stare down before Shane leaves the room. Prichard turns and heads back up the ramp as Charlotte’s eyes gleam with delight. When the match actually begins Asuka begins by kicking at the tree trunk legs of Kharma. Asuka’s speed advantage is evident as she dodges the attempted strikes and counters Kharma time after time. Charlotte Flair jumps on the apron and the momentary distraction allows Kharma to flatten Asuka with a kick to the stomach followed by a double axe handle to the back. Then to add some more pain she steps on Asuka while holding onto the ropes until the referee reaches a four count. When Kharma moves away, Charlotte moves in, punching Asuka several times. Kharma keeps up punishing Asuka with power moves and gets a two count following an avalanche in the corner. Kharma climbs to the second rope but Asuka is up and stuns her with a punch to the gut. Asuka climbs up to the second rope as well and delivers a DDT from the second rope. Asuka makes the cover 1, 2, Charlotte puts Kharma’s foot on the rope. Asuka has had enough and goes to the outside, stalking Charlotte who is backing up and making excuses. Charlotte tries to slide into the ring but Asuka catches her foot and pulls her back out and begins laying into the Smackdown Live Women’s Champion. With Charlotte on the ground Asuka returns to the ring but as she nears her opponent, Kharma launches a knee to the gut and drops her with a headbutt. Charlotte, who appears to be bleeding from the mouth or her lip, gets back to her feet before reaching under the ring and pulling out a table. As Kharma continues her assault, Charlotte sets up the table at the foot of the ramp, shouting to Kharma to get her attention. Kharma drags Asuka by her hair closer to that side of the ring and picks her up in powerbomb position. Charlotte climbs onto the ropes and looks to assist but Asuka begins punching Kharma who staggers back. Asuka then is able to use her weight and momentum to turn it into a hurricanrana, launching Kharma into Charlotte who falls off the apron and goes through the table! Kharma staggers back and Asuka kicks her behind the knee, dropping her to one knee. Asuka plays to the crowd and hits the Asuka Kick to Kharma’s temple, putting her flat on her back. Bryan goes to the apron and begins climbing to the top but Orton races up to meet him and delivers a superplex. Bryan rolls out of the ring upon impact. Orton moves to AJ and picks him up, putting him on top of the ropes before climbing up. It’s clear he has another superplex in mind but AJ lays in a few right hands and with Orton stunned AJ pulls off a sunset flip powerbomb. The referee begins to count 1…...2…...Triple H pulls the referee out of the ring by his foot! Triple H looks down at the referee and begins arguing with him. The referee seems to want to eject the C.O.O. but lacks the authority to do so. Just then Shane McMahon runs down the ramp. <img alt="Vb0wBOf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Vb0wBOf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Shane gets between Triple H and the referee shouting at his brother in law and asking what he’s doing. Shane stumbles but recovers and turns on Triple H firing back with his own rights and lefts. They begin fighting up the ramp and to the back with officials coming out to seperate them. AJ Styles has been watching all of this giving Randy Orton time to recover and when the referee gets back in the ring, AJ turns right into an RKO. Orton is all smiles motioning the referee over for the cover but when he turns AJ over, Daniel Bryan slides back in the ring and throws Orton over the top rope before quickly covering AJ for the win. He gets in the ring and says last night he spoke from the heart when he talked about what drives him and what motivates him going into WrestleMania. Braun Strowman is the biggest challenge of his career and in three weeks he’s going to stand right in this ring and say……

Suddenly Strowman appears on the tron.

Strowman tells Cena he’ll finish that sentence. In three weeks John Cena will stand in that ring and say I couldn’t get the job done. Paul Heyman likes to call them spoilers but for the Monster among men it’s just the truth. Cena has had a great run, a hall of fame first ballot career but that doesn’t mean anything when Strowman puts him on his shoulder and drives him into that mat for the 1-2-3. In three weeks Braun Strowman will show John Cena is like everyone else when he gets….these….hands.

Cena just watches the tron as they have a long distance stare down as we go to commercial.

Corbin controls the early match with his size and power but the veteran fights back and RVD builds momentum, hitting a series of kicks and Rolling Thunder. With Corbin in position RVD begins to climb to the top when the crowd gets to its feet.

Elias runs down to the ring and whacks RVD across the back with his guitar, smashing it to pieces and RVD tumbles down to the ring. The referee calls for the disqualification but RVD is feeling like anything but a winner.

The new RAW Tag Team Champions the Revival are backstage with Charly Caruso. She congratulates them and they thank her. Dawson talks about how the past months the Revival have been on a journey of self awareness. They now know who to really thank for the support and belief that paid off in winning these belts last night. The guys look at each other and nod before smiling and saying ‘Ourselves!’ at the same time. Wilder says nobody believed in them except themselves. Nobody liked them except themselves. When Charly asks about some Revival chants in the crowd last night they roll their eyes and tell her that the Revival has never needed the WWE Universe and they never will. Why would the champs want the support of millions of losers living vicariously through the new RAW Tag Team Champions? They walk off with big smiles as she shakes her head.

Ruby and her Squad keep Ember on the defense from the opening bell and Logan and Morgan aren’t shy from taking some cheap shots when the opportunity presents itself. Ruby eventually telegraphs a cross body block and Ember makers her pay. Ember goes on the offense, knocking the Squad off the apron before climbing to the top and hitting the Eclipse for the win.

Backstage Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are walking with a purpose and finally find who they’re looking for.

Ziggler calls them losers which almost sets Ambrose off but Rollins calms him down. Rollins says last night they won and he can’t take that away from them but he and Dean aren’t done yet. He then challenges them to another match. McIntyre seems to find this amusing and says they’d love to embarrass Rollins and Ambrose again. Ziggler steps in and tells them they’re not feeling it tonight, they’re too busy basking in their victory. So they’ll see Dean and Seth next week and walk off.

Natalya is backstage talking to one of the makeup artists when Alexa Bliss comes flying into the picture, drop kicking Natalya into the makeup mirror which shatters. Alexa slams the chair on top of Natalya before ruthlessly stomping her. Some of the other babyface women show up on the scene and Alexa makes her exit. As we go to commercial they’re checking on Natalya.

When we return from break Natalya is being attended to by medical personnel and Kurt Angle is on the scene. He asks her if she needs him do anything and her answer is clear. Jordan’s youth and energy pay dividends in the beginning but Roode’s veteran savvy comes through and he takes control half way through. Roode takes his time, working Jordan over and focusing on his neck before hitting the Glorious DDT to retain his title.

He likes to call himself Glorious, but he ain’t seen Glorious until he sees the Dream at the grandest stage of them all.

Roode seems dismissive at first until Dream reminds him that he just doesn’t want to be embarrassed again since Dream has beaten him twice. Roode grows angry and says it will will feel absolutely GLORIOUS to put this punk down for good. Dream poses for the crowd from the stage as we go to break, having gotten his title opportunity.

Balor is in full control in the match and seems extremely focused. Mahal tries using some strength and size to overpower but Balor dodges all of it eventually whipping Mahal into his men and knocking them off the apron. When Mahal staggers back, Balor hits a backstabber, then goes to the top for the Coup de Grace for the victory.

Paul Heyman comes down to the ring. He introduces himself and says that for the last several weeks he has done what an Advocate should do. He’s gone through the chain of command and he’s put in front of Kurt Angle an idea so big that it would wipe any WrestleMania match off it’s pedestal. Hogan-Andre? Nothing. Michaels-Taker? Forget about it. Braun Strowman….John Cena…..BROCK LESNAR! Now that is a match! But Kurt Angle has turned a blind eye for doing what’s best for business. So tonight he is here not as an advocate he’s here as the advocate for the BEAST. Kurt Angle will come out here and he will add BROCK LESNAR to that match…..

Kurt Angle’s music hits and he comes down to the ring. Heyman backs up a few steps when Angle gets in the ring. Angle dares him to finish that sentence because it sounded like he was going to say or else. So Angle wants to make it crystal clear. There is nothing Heyman can say to make him add Lesnar to the match. Heyman’s expression softens. He holds his hands up and approaches Kurt, putting his hand over the mic but you can still hear. He’s begging Kurt to do it. He doesn’t want what’s going to happen next to occur. Heyman looks as sincere as we’ve ever seen him but Angle pulls the mic back and gives his one word answer: no.

Brock Lesnar comes out and stomps down to the ring. He gets in and Heyman approaches, trying to talk him down but he gets shoved away. Lesnar walks up to Angle who doesn’t back down. Lesnar turns his head to tell Heyman, who’s still pleading, to shut up. This draws Angle’s attention and without notice Lesnar kicks him low. Lesnar quickly picks up Angle and delivers an F5. Angle is down in a heap as Lesnar just smiles and leaves the ring with Heyman trailing behind.

Suddenly Lesnar stops and looks back at Angle. He moves past Heyman and slides back in the ring. He picks up Angle from behind and delivers a german suplex. Then another. And another. Lesnar shoves Angle out of the ring with his shoe and follows to the outside. Angle is completely defenseless as Angle picks him up on his shoulders and parades around the rind before hitting another F5 into the ringpost. Angle is barely moving if at all and officials stream down to the ring forcing a smiling Lesnar to leave.

Crews is still sore over last week’s match and it’s another clash of strength versus strength. The match goes back and forth but Crews begins to take control and gets a two count on a spinebuster catching Lashley off the ropes. Lashley rolls to the outside but Crews bounds off the ropes and soars over the top rope, wiping out Lashley. Crews gets back in the ring and the referee begins his count. Lashley is on his feet at six, but just waves his hand dismissively, walking to the back and the referee completes his ten count.

Becky holds out the belt to Ronda but when Ronda goes to reach for it, Becky drops it. Ronda looks down at the belt, up at Becky and the two go nose toose as officials come down to the ring and make sure nothing gets out of hand but the show ends with neither woman backing down.

A great matchup between these two who give it their all. Ronda is constantly on the defense as Sasha brings her A-game and nearly scores a victory off the double knee stomp in the corner. Ronda is hurting but delves keep and fights back, showing off her judo and striking skills. Now it’s Sasha who’s in trouble. She kicks out of the Piper’s Pit but Ronda immediately locks in the arm bar and Sasha has to tap.

The match twists and turns as each man has control and gets in his usual spots but they can’t put each other away. Orton begins to build momentum and hits his DDT with AJ’s legs on the ropes and he pounds the mat, waiting to strike with an RKO. NXT U.K. opens with a recap video of last week where Joseph Conners was "punished" by next UK General Manager, Finlay, and put into a match with Mastiff. The video shows how Conners tried to bail but, Finlay threw him back in where Conners fate was sealed with a Spinebuster. The last image is of Mastiff standing tall and roaring to the crowd.

Gallus is again shown trying to enter the arena like last week. They are met with security once more who prevent them, but then are told to allow Wolfgang in. Bewildered, he goes past security and when the Coffey brothers go to follow, security again stops them. Wolfgang walks into the arena alone with the Coffey brothers furious.

A competitive match but then Charlie Morgan gets control and really has the match in hand until she gets too arrogant and Xia Brookside is able to roll her up in a small package and score the surprise victory.

So, at NXT TakeOver: New York, the night before Wrestlemania, Kelly and Jinny will do just that when they take on Toni Storm and NXT United Kingdom Women's Champion Rhea Ripley in a tag team match. This is a wild, almost car crash match where all three men fly all over the ring, on the floor and even into the crowd. In the end Williams nails Ashton Smith with a springboard back elbow right to the temple which knocks him out and Williams scores the pinfall victory.

A promo video of a destroyed town shows. The people in the scene are clearly desolate and hungry. Hopelessness reigns supreme. Tears can be seen flowing down as the people cry out for help. Just before the video cuts out the words He's Coming flash in red as the video fades to black.

As expected, this is a stiff match between two big men and not a technical master class. Early on Mastiff dominates before Wolfgang is able to gain control. When Wolfgang lifts Mastiff up for a Widow’s Peak, Mastiff is able to drop down, bounce off the ropes, deliver a high knee to Wolfgang’s head and take control again. Soon, Mastiff is setting up for the Spinebuster when, out of nowhere, The Coffey Brothers rush into the ring and attack Mastiff. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner by disqualification: Mastiff

Following the match, Gallus commences a full on assault on Mastiff who is able to hold his own until the numbers game catches up to him. Soon, Gallus are setting Mastiff up for massive powerbomb assisted by all three men but, before they can drop Mastiff on his neck, security flood the ring and Finaly rushes out giving orders. Gallus quickly hop the rails and escape through the crowd as Finlay is shouting obscenities when NXT U.K. goes off the air.

Balor counters with an acknowledgement of his choice and that she may not care but the WWE Universe cartes and when he wins that title he won’t have to ever see her again. She takes that in stride but says since he’s so sure he’ll win, he won’t mind a little warm up and that match happens...right now.

A pure set up, Balor gets battered by both bigger men but an opening presents itself when Lashley is holding Balor for a double team but Balor slips loose and Corbin delivers a boot in Lashley’s face, knocking him out of the ring. The heels control the match but Velveteen gets the eventual hot tag and shows off his moves cleaning the ring of both Roode and Elias. Elias, the legal man, ends up on the bad end of the Dream Valley Driver and then as Velveteen climbs to the top, RVD makes a blind tag. Elias is hit with the Purple Rainmaker and then a Five Star Frogsplash in quick succession leading to a big victory for Dream and RVD.

We’re taken to the ring where Michael Cole is. He introduces the RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and her challenger, the Man Becky Lynch. Cole talks about how they will be the first female main event in WrestleMania history. Lynch says that’s all well and good but her focus is that championship Ronda wears around her waist. Rousey says that Becky can look all she wants but she will never defeat her to win it. Becky asks how Ronda can be so sure and Ronda replies that she’s seen people like Becky her whole life. People who run their mouth and then get their mouths shut. Becky stands and asks if maybe Ronda would like to shut her mouth right now. Ronda stands and this brings Cole between them pleading for things to remain civil. Both women seem to calm for the moment and Ronda even offers a handshake. Becky smirks and shakes it but as soon as she does Ronda catches her with a left hand. Stunned momentarily, Becky is easy pickings for Rousey who hits the Pipers Pit. As she heads back up the ramp with her title held in the air, Ronda doesn’t see Becky trying to get up with a busted lip but looking determined nonetheless.

Stephanie is walking backstage when she’s approached by a very swarmy Paul Heyman. Heyman says he’s here not to gloat but to put forth an idea. His client, BROCK LESNAR, hereby requests that he be given Kurt Angle at WrestleMania. Stephanie reminds Heyman Angle isn’t even at RAW because of the attack last week but Heyman says that’s not his problem. And if she doesn’t give Brock what he wants...well...that worked out real well for Kurt didn’t it? Heyman walks off leaving Stephanie with an expression of anger mixed with concern.

Bliss uses dirty tricks to take an early advantage and make perfect use of the no disqualification rules but she can’t get Natalya to submit to her Anaconda Vise. Natalya fights back and pays Alexa back for everything she’s put Natalya through the last weeks before putting her in the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring and Alexa screams that she quits.

Bayley knows she needs to take it to Nia off the bat and she puts Nia on her heels from the opening bell. Everything is looking good until Bayley appears to tweak her knee. Nia immediately takes control. With Bayley down, Nia bounds off the ropes and splashes her for a three count.

Even with the chair the Riotts don’t look like they want to get back in the ring and slowly make their exit while Bayley’s friends make sure she’s safe.

Ambrose is growing more and more frustrated and when Ziggler taunts him one too many times he’s had enough. Ambrose comes flying into the ring which brings in McIntyre and now it’s a four man brawl. The referee has lost control and calls for the bell as chaos ensues.

Paige finally has had enough and snaps back at Charlotte. The GM tells Charlotte that what she called meddling is actually called leadership and leaders make the hard choices such as...who is Charlotte going to wrestle tonight in the main event? Paige acts as if she’s thinking then points behind Charlotte. Charlotte turns and stops cold.

Trish is leaning against the wall. Before Charlotte can say anything Paige tells her that if Trish wins tonight in any fashion...count out...disqualification...we’ll be having a triple threat at WrestleMania. Both Paige and Trish walk off leaving Charlotte stunned.

Mysterio says if Andrade wanted the match he only had to ask but since he has decided to take it upon himself to threaten Rey’s family...so yea, he’ll see Andrade at WrestleMania and he’s going to kick Andrade’s ass! The Cartel don’t appear happy about that and the scene ends with Mysterio and Andrade trash talking at each other.

Becky says that she deserved what she got because she let her guard down for a split second and that’s all Ronnie needed. That’s a lesson learned champ because at WrestleMania there will be no split second distractions. There will be no lapses of concentration. There will be nothing but a singular focus to do whatever it takes to win that title and she means whatever it takes. Broken bones, blood sweat and tears, whatever it takes to walk out of WrestleMania with her hand held high. She thanks Rousey for waking her up and giving the Man a jolt of reality. SAnitY is quickly routed from the ring and regather on the outside as AJ, Orton, Miz, Rusev, and Joe have all put their grievances aside for the moment as they hold the ring.[/i]

Trish rolls Charlotte back in the ring but the champion ambushes the challenger as Trish slides back in. Charlotte goes for Natural Selection but Trish dodges it and connects with another Chick Kick which drops the champ and Trish gets the win.

NXT opens with William Regal sitting in his office. He takes us back to last week to the interactions between Shayna Baszler, Nikki Cross and Kairi Sane. Regal says that for the last few months these issues have risen and they must be settled and settled decisively. So, therefore, the final match to announce at NXT TakeOver: New York is that Shayna Baszler must defend her NXT Women's Championship against both Nikki Cross and Kairi Sane. And to ensure that a decisive winner is crowned, this match will be contested inside a Steel Cage. He tells the viewers to enjoy tonight's edition of NXT.

The camera pans back to show Shayna Baszler watching the announcement on a monitor. She gets a shocked and then furious look and throws the television across the screen as NXT's opening credits roll.

But, we go to the ring with our opening match and it features the man that could soon be the new NXT Champion Jay Lethal.

The Tennessee Cowboy James Storm gets some licks in early on but, the match is mostly to showcase Jay Lethal ahead of his NXT title match at TakeOver: New York. In the end, James Storm eats the Lethal Injection for the pinfall loss.

Following the win, Jay Lethal grabs the house mic. Lethal says that he has waited for nearly 20 years for the opportunity that lies before him in 10 days. Lethal has faced Ciampa before. He knows what he can do. Tommaso Ciampa is as good as he thinks he is, but in 10 days at NXT TakeOver: New York, on that night for that one moment, Jay Lethal will prove that he is better. Destiny awaits and "Goldie" changes hands. Bank on it.

In the back is Matt Riddle. He is preparing for his match, which is next, but he tells the viewers that he cannot wait to get his hands on Dominik Dijakovic at TakeOver. Matt Riddle doesn't buy into the nice man act, he sees it for the bs that it is. And at TakeOver, the Original Bro is going to knock Dom out. Riddle heads to the ring for his match.

Riddle starts out hot but, then Matha is able to over power the King of Bros and damned near scores a pinfall victory. Soon, Riddle is back in control and goes for the BRO-Mission when Dominik Dijakovic rushes down to the ring, chair in hand. He slides in and slams the chair at the base of Riddle’s neck giving Matt the DQ victory.

Post match Dominik Dijakovic continues to attack Matt Riddle with the chair before nearly decapitating Riddle with a twisting lariat. With Riddle unconscious and officials racing in, Dominik again, but with more arrogance, shakes the hand of the King of Bros.

Tye swears that he will risk life and limb to cash in on this moment. He has no other choice. At TakeOver, Tye Dillinger will prove why he is the Perfect 10.

This is a crazy and wild brawl that starts out evenly until the Undisputed Era gets control and takes apart Ricochet while War Raiders keep trying to make the save. Eventually the tide turns and War Raiders start evening the odds and soon it’s a crazy brawl again. The finish comes when Ricochet takes Fish to the floor and Roderick has been disposed of. War Raiders set up Kyle O’Reilly for the FallOut when

Adam Cole jumps over the guard rail and pushes Hanson off the top rope and sends the big man to the floor. The referee was distracted and missed the whole thing. Cole distracts Rowe which allows Roderick to sneak back in and O’Reilly & Strong nail Total Elimination. Kyle covers for the 1..2…3.

NXT U.K. opens with Province, Killer Kelly & Jinny, walking into the building. As they are about to enter, they pass two security guards who remove their coats and hats.....

Ripley and Storm attack Province from behind and throw both women onto vehicles which are parked. On the hoods of these vehicles, they pound away at the women they will face in 9 days at TakeOver until officials, including Finlay, race out and pull Storm and Ripley off. Kelly and Jinny crawl away back to their car and speed out of the building before any more harm can come to them.

Complete domination by Menzies who suplexes Dylan James all over the ring and puts in some stiff forearms to boot. Eventually James taps out to the Ankle Lock.

NXT United Kingdom Champion, Pete Dunne, comes to the ring. He says that as promised he is here to call out Joseph Conners. Conners’ comes down to the ring and teases just staying on the ramp before getting into the ring and going nose to nose with Dunne.

Conners says he doesn’t give a damn if Dunne likes him or not but, Conners has a problem with Dunne and the problem is that Pete has got Triple H and everyone at NXT snowballed. He has somehow convinced everyone that Pete Dunne is the best in the UK. This whole “bruiserweight” thing is a sham and it is a political machination. And at TakeOver: New York, Joseph Conners will expose Pete Dunne for the fraud that he is and become the new United Kingdom Champion.

Pete laughs at the “political machination” line and says that Joseph Conners doesn’t have a clue what it takes to be champion for one day let alone the nearly 2 years that Pete Dunne has held this title. Dunne tells Conners that he’s the Bruiserweight because he kicks the arse of everyone he meets. And he’s been the United Kingdom champion for this long because he kicks the arse of everyone he meets. This isn’t a gimmick and this isn’t a wrestling promo…it’s a promise: at TakeOver, Pete Dunne is going to kick Joseph Conner’s arse because at the end of the day, Conners is not tough enough and not man enough to stop Dunne.

Conners looks like he is gonna respond, but then he smiles and piefaces Dunne. When Conners goes to leave, he is spun around by an infuriated UK Champion and is locked in a joint manipulation where Dunne is bending Conner’s fingers and wrist back in an angle that it isn’t meant to be bent in. Dunne is screaming at the top of his lungs and tapping out furiously as the Bruiserweight applies more pressure with a maniacal look in his face. Officials start to run down to the ring while Conners screams as NXT U.K. goes off the air.

Angle comes down to the ring but he’s not singing along with the crowd, he just looks pissed off. Angle says that everyone knows the history he has with Brock Lesnar and everyone remembers what they did to each other at WrestleMania XIX. Angle says he may be older but he’s still got the fire and he wants Lesnar this Sunday! Angle says people may say this is about pride and they’d be damn right in thinking that. That’s why he doesn’t only want Brock Lesnar, he wants him in an I Quit match. He says he will make the Beast tap out in front of millions of people. He says he knows Paul Heyman is back there so come out and accept the challenge.

Instead of Heyman, Angle gets the C.E.O of RAW Stephanie McMahon. She looks nearly apologetic when she tells Angle that she doesn’t think he’s in his right mind and she cannot in good conscience allow that match. Angle says he knows what he’s asking for. Stephanie says there is no shame in coming to your senses so she will give him the match however if he decides to call it off he will still be the RAW General Manager. However….if he goes forward with that match she cannot have her GM fighting the talents so Angle will be effectively quitting his job if that bell rings. Angle says he understands and thanks her for the match before his music hits and he leaves the ring.

Elias is in complete control in the match but he stops to take time to badmouth his veteran opponent and the referee which opens a window for Goldust and he comes back at Elias with some of his signature moves. Elias seems to reclaim the offense and gets a two count. He complains again to the referee and gets rolled up from behind by Goldust for the surprise ending.

Elias is livid and attacks Goldust from behind. He goes out and gets his guitar but as he’s lining up a shot, Rob Van Dam comes running down and kicks the guitar into Elias’ face, causing him to ditch to the outside, still angry.

Two veterans in this one. Mickie uses some underhanded tactics to take control early but Natalya guts it out and grabs the advantage with a series of clotheslines. It’s not long before Mickie finds herself in the Sharpshooter and she taps.

As Natalya celebrates her win in the ring Nia Jax comes out and approaches Lita. Nia begins running Lita down, questioning her about being in the battle royal which Nia will obviously win. Lita stands and begins to take off her headset when Nia attacks. Nia slams Lita’s face off the desk and picks her up in a military press, looking like she’s going to throw her off the stage. Lita wiggles out of it and drops behind Nia, showing her towards the edge. Nia teeters but regains her balance and turns around right into a standing dropkick. Nia falls off the stage as the crowd cheers but Lita’s not done. She peels off her shirt and delivers a moonsault onto Nia when Jax finally stood up which really brings the crowd to their feet. It looks like the Women’s Battle Royal will be taken to the ‘extreme’ this Sunday!

Backstage Charly Caruso tracks down Paul Heyman and asks him about this announced match this sunday. He says they accept that challenge and he’s going to do the world a favor. The Beast is going to finish what he started and he’s going to put Kurt Angle out of sports entertainment forever. His client, BROCK LESNAR, won’t make Kurt Angle tap, he’ll make him cry.

Finn Balor comes out to the ring. He says that this Sunday he’s going to become the new WWE Champion. But that also means that tonight could be his last night on Monday Night RAW. So he wants it to be memorable, he wants it to be a great sendoff.

Bobby Lashley and Bobby Roode come out on the stage and begin walking down to the ring. Roode gets a mic and says he agrees with Balor, tonight should be memorable and he and Lashley think they have the answer. The two of them are going to beat the hell out of Balor so bad, no one will ever forget it. They’re about to get in the ring when someone else joins the conversation.

Velveteen Dream comes out which revives the crowd and says if there is going to be a memorable moment obviously the Dream has to be a part of it. He gets in the ring and says we can do this now or even better we can do this in the main event because obviously that’s where he belongs. The heels back off a little and tell Balor and Velveteen that they’ll see them later tonight.

Apollo Crews is on fire as soon as the match begins but he’s slowed down by Corbin’s power and his rule breaking. Corbin goes for End of Days but Crews blocks it and sends Corbin into the corner chest first. Corbin staggers back into the middle of the ring where Crews hits a sit down powerbomb for the win.

Paul Heyman is strutting around backstage when Kurt Angle comes out of nowhere and pins him to the wall. Heyman is bug eyed and repeating that he’s only an advocate but Angle doesn’t seem to care. He tells Heyman to deliver a message to his client. This Sunday isn’t about what happened two weeks ago. It’s what happened decades ago. This Sunday Kurt Angle won’t break Brock Lesnar’s spirit. And he won’t break his confidence. This Sunday, Kurt Angle is going to break Brock Lesnar’s freakin’ ankle. He releases Heyman, smoothing his suit. Then he gets back in Heyman’s face and tells him...and then he’ll break the other one. Angle and Heyman both look down at the floor as Heyman’s bottom lip quivers. Angle pats him on the shoulder and says he knows he could count on him.

She can call herself the Man but the truth is she’s getting into the ring against the Baddest Bitch on the Planet. No amount of bravado and no trash talking or tweeting is going to change that. And if Becky wants more of what happened at that interview last week Rousey says she’s not hard to find before Sunday!

Ambrose and Rollins are in their locker room. Rollins says that this Sunday they can’t hesitate for a second or it’s going to go really bad for them. Ambrose chuckles and pulls a long box out of a bag. Rollins asks him what it is and Ambrose replies that it’s something a hardcore legend gave him a long time ago. He opens the box to reveal a barbed wire bat. Rollins grins and goes to touch the bat but Ambrose pulls it back before telling Rollins never to come between a man and his Barbie.

The Riotts are more focused than they have been in a long time as they focus on triple teaming whoever is legal on the other team. Finally Bayley gets the tag and begins cleaning house. It soon boils down to a six woman brawl. Sarah Logan doesn’t see Sasha makes a blind tag, and it costs her when Sasha flips her over and applies the Bank Statement for the win.

We’re shown a pre taped interview with John Cena conducted by Michael Cole. Cole asks Cena what to expect this Sunday. Cena says that to be frank you may see the last of himself. Everyone fights father time but Braun Strowman is the biggest threat he’s ever faced. His combination of speed and size and strength is unparallelled. If Cera is to find a way to win that elusive 17th title he’s going to have to push himself to the breaking point but maybe, just maybe, he has that in him on the grandest stage of them all. One thing is certain. Braun Strowman is in for the fight of his life and if he wants to keep that WWE Universal Championship he better bring everything he’s got because like the t-shirt says, Cena never gives up!

Cole immediately sends us to the back where a wild brawl is taking place. A moment later we see Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch are going at it and nearly every official in the back is trying to separate them. Lynch breaks free and jumps onto the officials in front of Rousey bowling everyone over as they get their hands on each other again. Now the women’s locker room has emptied and they’re trying to pull them apart. Finally Lynch is pulled away and while she’s defenseless for a moment Rousey moves in and punches her in the face before she’s pulled away again. Cole says they’re out of time but not to miss WrestleMania this Sunday!

An excellent match in which all participants get in some usual spots and a good bit of offense. The turn comes when Velveteen who’s been pummelled in the opposite corner makes the tag to Balor. Balor zips around the ring before focusing on Lashley as the legal man. He ends up hitting the Coup de Grace for the win as Velveteen intercepts Roode with a flying forearm to preserve the pin.

The cameraman is rushing backstage to the sound of a fight and when he turns the corner we see Rowan and Eric Young on the Miz like two jackals. Rowan’s grabs the Miz by the throat and runs him backwards into a garage door with a huge bang. Young keeps stomping on him until officials force them away. Smackdown Live hasn’t even begun yet and SAnitY has already made their mark.

The WWE Champion comes to the ring. He says in five days he will walk into the ring against a demon and he will walk out still the Planet’s Champion. He takes nothing away from Finn Balor’s wrestling ability but Bryan is better. He takes nothing away from Finn Balor’s athleticism but Bryan is better. He takes nothing away from Finn Balor’s heart and drive and spirit but Bryan has the spirit of Mother Earth behind him. And with that nothing can defeat him and no one can take away this title around his waist. Not long ago he hurt Finn Balor really bad but he obviously didn’t finish the job. This Sunday he will.

They say politics makes strange bedfellows but so does warfare and Joe and Rusev symbolize that perfectly. Their personal dislike is still evident in the match, especially when they’re tagging but they are ruthless against the equally violent members of SAnitY. Violence doesn't equal a victory however as in the end Rusev has Wolfe in the Accolade as Joe puts the Kokina Clutch on Dain. The referee calls for the bell when neither man can escape.

He says Rey Mysterio has made the decision to not only put his United States title on the line at WrestleMania but he’s decided to take the punishment instead of his family. It’s noble. If any of his family think about coming to WrestleMania they...well….they’ll take a little vacation south of the border. He warns Mysterio not to try him on that and he suggests Mysterio should just lay down on Sunday and hand over that title saying it will be better for everyone.

The announcers keep playing up Lacey Evans’ past as a Marine and the crowd is into it with a USA chant which drives Billie Kay crazy outside the ring. Peyton controls most of the match until Lacey puts on a comeback and gets her in a Cobra Clutch. Peyton tries to get to the rope but Lacey walks her back to the center and Peyton taps.

The Bar, both steaming mad, approach Paige as she’s talking to a staffer and demand she cancel their Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania versus Heavy Machinery. They say it was unprofessional for them not to be told and to find out like all the losers of the world by watching RAW to hear about the match. She stops them and questions why they were watching the competition. They don’t really have a good answer and she tells them they better stop whining and start preparing or else they might get steamrolled on Sunday.

We’re shown a pre-filmed video from Shane McMahon He says this match with Triple H is a long time in coming. For almost two decades he’s had to deal with his brother in law behind the scenes and he bit his tongue but no longer. Smackdown Live is his brand, his baby. Triple H as abused his authority and Shane will mak…..

Suddenly the video gets filled with static and Shane’s pre tape is replaced by a live Triple H feed. He says if Shane wants to see abuse he only has to wait until Sunday because he will abuse Shane. He will put him through more pain and suffering than he’s ever had before. Shane should have stayed away when he left the company with his tail between his legs. It was a mistake to come back and it was a mistake to get in Triple H’s business. He’ll learn that lesson the hard way. Triple H reaches down out of camera shot and pulls up a sledgehammer before just grinning as the video ends.

A very good match between these three teams with each getting about an equal amount of offense. Everyone gets in some signature moves but in the end as the Usos climb for a double splash on Big E, Karl Anderson blind tags himself in and shoves Jey off the top, crashing to the floor. At the same time Gallows follows suit with Jimmy. With Big E just getting to his feet he falls victim to the Magic Killer.

Sonya lurks outside and does her best to distract Trish but the veteran is in full control. Mandy does manage to send Trish to the outside near the end of the match and that is when Charlotte comes running down.

But before Charlotte can attack, Asuka comes out and the two begin to fight. With the referee distracted, Sonya slides in and attempts to double team Trish but she hits Mandy by accident with the bicycle kick and then Stratus hits a Chick Kick sending Sonya to the outside and covers Mandy for the win.

And here the Man stands. If Ronnie couldn’t finish her with a clean shot then this Sunday at WrestleMania what is she going to do when nobody’s holding her back? With a near sigh Orton shrugs and shakes Styles’ hand. The announcers discuss how the coalition against SAnitY seems to be coalesced and if Miz isn’t badly hurt it’s going to be a near all-star team in the big ten man….Suddenly Orton jerks Styles back to him as the handshake was ending….

Orton hops up and stares coldly down at Styles as the announcers say they may have been completely wrong as the show ends.

Harper and AJ put on a good match in which Harper’s strength and brutality holds the ring against AJ’s athleticism. AJ gets in some of his normal offense but the tide turns when AJ catches a boot to the face and flies back into the referee knocking him out. Harper stalks Styles when suddenly Randy Orton jumps the barrier and slides into the ring.

Harper sense someone behind him and turns around into an RKO. Orton slides out and begins waking up the ref as Styles goes to the outside and when Harper finally gets up he catches a Phenomenal Forearm to the face. AJ makes the cover for the slow 123.

Coach and Booker welcome us to the show and hype the two big matches tonight. The four way for a new number one contender and the Loser Leaves 205 match which is tonight’s main event.

A hard hitting and high flying match which sees a bit of everything. Every time Murphy or Itami, who have focused on Sabre, get a chance for a pinfall it’s Fenix who’s breaking it up. Sabre evens the fight after taking a moment to regroup and it's a four man brawl. Sabre is especially hard hitting with a strong style matched up with Itami. When Fenix and Murphy both go over the top rope it’s a two man match and when Itami misses a high running knee Sabre hits the Zack Driver for the win.

Gulak wants to keep this one on the ground but Ali isn’t having any of that. His quick attacks frustrate Gulak early and it doesn’t get any better as Ali pours on some high energy offense ending with a reverse 450 splash for the win.

The dislike between these two is palpable and the match goes back and forth. Maria tries to distract or get involved several times, once so blatantly on the outside that Kendrick nearly hits her but he holds back and she just smirks. Mike follows him to the outside but Kendrick sees it coming and goes on the attack, sending Kanellis into the ring post before sliding back into the ring. Dazed, Kanellis climbs onto the apron where Kendrick grabs ahold of him and lifts him for a vertical suplex but Maria pulls Kendrick’s leg out from under him and when Mike lands atop him she holds Kendrick’s foot down as the referee counts to three.

Kendrick is struck by what just happened and looks over his shoulder at Maria and Mike who are gloating/pointing/laughing at him. As the show ends Coach questions what this means for 205 and if we’ll ever see Brian Kendrick again.

NXT opens with a graphic promising that tonight, just 3 days away from NXT TakeOver: New York, NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa has vowed to confront challenger Jay Lethal in the ring.

Back and forth encounter early on but, Ford hits a DVD on Gabriel and that turns the tide. The Profits hit the "Swagger" (Pop-up Spinebuster (Dawkins) & Split-legged frog splash (Ford) for the 3 count.

Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Tye Dillinger and Aleister Black all say "this might be my last shot, I am going to make it my best" and the video ends with Cole smugly saying "And that's...Undisputed."

It points out that every person working for WWE, including those down in NXT and NXT UK, are eligible to be shaken up. Who will be left standing? A hype video shows a cage lowering to the ring intercut with videos of Nikki Cross being crazy, Kairi Sane being daring and Shayna Baszler in MMA and during her dominant run in NXT. Kairi says she will risk her soul to win the NXT Womens Title. Shayna says she will break bones and have hers broken to remain champ. Nikki just says "FUN" and laughs as the cage lowers into the ring to end the video.

Bianca gets some shots in and has her moments but, this match is largely a showcase for Nikki as she breaks out some strong amateur wrestling spots (including a few submissions) before ending Bianca with a guillotine leg drop from the top rope laughing as she comes down for the 1...2...3.

The announcers promote that NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will call out Jay Lethal after this time out.

NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa is in the ring with "Goldie" when NXT returns from commercial. Ciampa says that it has not been easy to be at this moment. Everything he has ever done has led to it the opportunity to headline TakeOver in New York City. Ciampa admits that he has had to do things that he regrets to get here but, it is all worth it. Whether you love him or hate him, Tommaso Ciampa has earned this title...but Jay Lethal hasn't. He walks in here and just gets a title shot and that is what Ciampa resents...

Lethal comes out and is furious that Ciampa would imply that anything was handed to him. Jay Lethal has had to work for years, YEARS, in conditions that would make Ciampa quit to get just the opportunity that this moment presents. Triple H and William Regal offered Lethal an opportunity but, that's all that they offered. There were no guarantees. There were no promises. And in 3 days, at TakeOver, Jay Lethal can make three guarantees. Guarantee #1, is that Lethal is walking into that building. Guarantee #2, is that Lethal is kicking Tommaso's ass and Guarantee #3 is that "Goldie" is going to a new owner because on that night, as good as he may be, Tommaso Ciampa is not man enough to defeat Jay Lethal.

Ciampa, infuriated, gets into Lethal's face and says "then bring your best shot" and raises the championship in the air. Both men glare at each other and, with Mauro promoting the main event in the background, the camera focuses on the NXT Championship shining brightly in the air as NXT fades to black.

This match is a showcase of how much of a brute Gradwell has become. He pretty much owns Andrews and employs a bunch of stiff shots including several knees to the ribs before a back elbow to Andrews' head that knocks him out.

After the win, Gradwell grabs a microphone. He says that he knows in two days Joseph Conners will challenge Pete Dunne for the NXT United Kingdom Championship, but the winner of that match will not rest long. Gradwell says he has demanded and been granted his title shot next week against whomever wins in New York. Gradwell warns Dunne and Conners to be worried about him because the title is changing hands in seven days.

Finlay comes out to the ring. He says that when deciding what to do with the Coffey Brothers and thus, what to do about Gallus, he was presented with two options: let them stay or fire them. Finlay calls Joe and Mark Coffey to come down to the ring to learn their fate.

The Coffey's come out and go to come into the ring, but security prevents them from doing so. Finlay tells the Coffey's that his heart says to fire them right now and that is what the decision will be......unless Mark Coffey can prove him wrong. Tonight in the main event, Mark Coffey will go one-on-one with the NXT United Kingdom Champion, The Bruiserweight Pete Dunne in a non-title match. If Mark Coffey can find a way to win this match, the Coffey brothers get to keep their jobs. If Mark loses, the brothers will be fired publicly here tonight. Finlay wishes them good luck with a smirk as the Coffey's realize their backs are against the wall.

Yet another dominating performance from the monster known as Mastiff. Webster just cannot handle the power and the surprising speed of this big man and soon meets his end with a brutal spinebuster for the 3 count.

A promo video of a destroyed town shows. The people in the scene are clearly desolate and hungry. Hopelessness reigns supreme. Tears can be seen flowing down as the people cry out for help. The sun has set and darkness now reigns over the town desperate for help.

We get a video hyping the womens tag match at TakeOver: New York between the members of Province Killer Kelly & Jinny facing Toni Storm and NXT United Kingdom Women's Champion Rhea Ripley. We are told that Killer Kelly is in action..next.

Samuels is able to put up a fight during the early part of the match but, Jinny eventually distracts Nina and that allows Kelly to blast Samuels from behind. Soon Nina is falling victim to the Penalty Kick to the head and Killer Kelly shows that Province is ready for this Saturday and wins the match.

MAIN EVENT: NON-TITLE MATCH

Joe Coffey is clearly nervous throughout this match everytime that his brother is in trouble. And he's nervous often. Early on the Bruiserweight controls this match and everytime Coffey is able to come back, Dunne has an answer. Eventually Mark fights back and is able to hit a GTS on Dunne, but the Bruiserweight kicks out at the last moment. After some battling back and forth, Dunne is able to nail the Bitter End and make a cover but the ref doesn't count because Joe Coffey is now on the apron.

Joseph Conners uses the distraction to jump over the railing, grab the United Kingdom title and blast Dunne in the back of the head. Mark Coffey makes the cover just as Joe stops the distraction....1....2.....3. The Coffey Brothers' jobs are saved.

Winner by pinfall: Mark Coffey
Rating: 5.9

After thematch the Coffey Brothers hold Dunne up while Conners hits him again in the head with the belt and then they bail. Conners attacks Dunne while officials rush the ring. They try to separate Conners with the announcers questioning what will the condition of the champion be this Saturday at TakeOver as NXT UK goes off the air.
