UFA: INTERNATIONAL SERIES JAPAN RESULTS</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Main Event</strong></p><p><strong>

Martyn Staskauskas 180lbs [2-0/0-0] vs Aki Hida 243lbs [0-0]</strong></p><p>

<em>In his UFA debut, Staskauskas showed why he was SIGMA's Middleweight Champion after making quick work of Japanese Hida. Hida had the intial better start with a belly to belly, unable to then move to side control Staskauskas locked in his submission.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Martyn Staskauskas* defeats Aki Hida Submission Guillotine in 1:31 of round 1</span></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Co-Main Event</strong></p><p><strong>

Rick Stanley 242Lbs [2-2] vs Tadamasa Yamada 205lbs [0-0]</strong></p><p>

<em>In full control, Yamada begins with a scything leg kick followed by a few jabs into a take down. Stanley had swung but with no connection. Once on the floor Yamada throws a few venom less punches whilst he creates a space and isolates Stanleys leg. The Dragon wins with a most impressive submission.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Tadamasa Yamada defeats Rick Stanley Submission Ankle Lock in 2:39 of round 1</span></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mantas Andreyev 205lbs [2-2] vs Daisetsu Sekozawa 185lbs [0-0]</strong></p><p>

<em>Andreyev looked on the back foot from the start, defending against a variety of attacks both standing and against the cage. The bout continued this way and with almost minutes left Sekozawa landed the sweetest of high kicks which stunned Andreyev and sent him down. Sekozawa pounced and Andreyev was out before the Referee could stop the attacks.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Daisetsu Sekozawa defeats Mantas Andreyev Knock Out Punch in 11:14 of round 1</span></em></p><p> </p><p>

B]Jim Carpenter 170lbs [2-2] vs Nasih Soltani 135lbs [0-0][/b]</p><p>

<em>Soltani threw the first punch which was dodged and countered with a sweet left by Carpenter using his reach advantage. A takedown was enough for Carpenter as he instantly worked into a better position and forced Soltani to submit.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Jim Carpenter defeats Nasih*Soltani Submission Armbar in 2:38 of round 1</span></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mark Cohen 205lbs [1-2] vs Monty Olivier 219lbs [0-1]</strong></p><p>

<em>Cohen was cut within three minutes but continued on, working Olivier down and against the cage. The two mirrored each other until Cohen tripped Olivier and worked his way to mount. Olivier had no defense against the bombs that Cohen was throwing and the Referee intervened for the stoppage.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Mark Cohen defeats Monty Olivier TKO Strikes in 6:55 of round 1</span></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Barney Albritton 123lbs [1-1] vs Kalyan Walia 185lbs [0-0]</strong></p><p>

<em>A less than impressive bout saw the night start with a stale Decision.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Kalyan Walia defeats Barney Albritton Unanimous Decision in 15:00 of round 1</span></em></p>

<strong>January Week 1 1991</strong></p><p><strong>

Ultimate Fighting Association</strong></p><p><strong>

UFA: INTERNATIONAL SERIES JAPAN PRESS CONFERENCE</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Barnett was delighted by the nights events, and thanked every one in the crowd. The crowd was a lot smaller than the usual UFA events but he said that he was happy to have a foot in the front door of The Japanese Market. He thanked SIGMA for their Champions performance and said that he would happily let them send more fighters on future events.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Lastly he confirmed that Milne had been granted clearance to compete and would face Morrison sometime in March, which was far away enough for UFA to hold another event. UFA 11 has been scheduled in for mid February and whilst no main event has yet been confirmed you can expect to see the likes of Stonge, Park, Analysis and McCall all return whilst atleast one new fighter will debut.</em></p>

<strong>January Week 2 1991</strong></p><p><strong>

Ultimate Fighting Association</strong></p><p><strong>

UFA 11 FULL CARD</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Main Event</strong></p><p><strong>

Tony McCall 232lbs [4-1] vs Kurt Stonge 243lbs [2-2]</strong></p><p>

<em>McCall defeated Stonge back in the first round of TUF9 but lost his last fight to Milne. Stonge has a victory over Milne but has lost his last two and is looking for pay back against McCall.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kunimichi Kikuchi 229lbs [0-0] vs Kye Collins 154lbs [2-0/0-0]</strong></p><p>

<em>Collins enters the cage with less than six minutes fought in his two bouts. A big prospect for SIGMA, Collins looks to follow Staskauskas and earn another win at UFA. Kikuchi will debut after signing the contract with UFA back when they visited Japan.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Bingwen Park 179lbs [1-1] vs Francesco Marazzina 145lbs [1-1]</strong></p><p>

<em>Parks last bout ended in a three minute victory, a huge performance after recovering from a broken jaw against Zaco. Marazzina will return after a vicious knock out courtesy of Elgars knee last May.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ernie Bruns 192lbs [0-1] vs Nigel Malley 185lbs [0-2]</strong></p><p>

<em>All three of the fighters combined losses have been by way of Submission. The two may look to leave this bout standing.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Gunnar Nilsson 265lbs [2-2] vs Frank Analysis 233lbs [1-2]</strong></p><p>

<em>Analysis may have the poorer record but he has been involved in some great fights. Nilsson will need to use that as he looks to propel himself within The UFA after four less than average performances.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Veeti Kuqi 272lbs [0-2] vs Jack Cobblepot 265lbs [0-2]</strong></p><p>

<em>The opening bout will see both men enter with two losses. A win for either one here could keep them within top brass' good books, a loss or a poor performance could spell the end for either.</em></p>

UFA: THE ULTIMATE ULTIMATE CARD</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Main Event</strong></p><p><strong>

The Winner Will Become The "Ultimate Ultimate"</strong></p><p><strong>

Harry Milne 236lbs [6-2] vs Sean Morrison 155lbs [7-0]</strong></p><p>

<em>Milne has beaten a host of names than include Zaco, Calrton and McCall. Both of his losses via Rear Naked. This will be Morrisons fourth event yet he holds an unbeaten record of seven wins. Morrison has long been seen as the best UFA has to offer but it has been said that his run is due to luck/misfortune that his toughest opponents have pulled out due to injury.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Baylen Delvaux 203lbs [0-2] vs Knox Hird 202lbs [0-2]</strong></p><p>

<em>A win from either of these poor performers could be enough to put them into the spotlight.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Yevgeni Sipatov 170lbs [3-1] vs Jack Humphreys 168lbs [1-0]</strong></p><p>

<em>Humphreys tapped his last opponent out in just over a minute whilst Sipatov will look to utilize his ability to grind his opponent down with all three of his victories by decision.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Troyes Bache 338lbs [2-2] vs Tadamasa Yamada 205lbs [1-0]</strong></p><p>

<em>Bache will use his superior weight to look for another victory, his last two coming via submission. Yamada is a submission specialist and will use Baches lack of mobility to his advantage. Yamada finished his last opponent within three minutes.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mal Phe Roby 185lbs [0-0] vs Barney Albritton 123lbs [1-2]</strong></p><p>

<em>Mal Phe Roby is an Indonesian debutant and will look to add another loss to Albrittons record who has lost two in a row by way of decision.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jeff Carlton 256lbs [6-4] vs Aki Hida 243lbs [0-1]</strong></p><p>

February Week 2 1991

Ultimate Fighting Association

UFA 11 RESULTS

Main Event

Tony McCall 232lbs [4-1] vs Kurt Stonge 243lbs [2-2]

As expected McCall went straight in with strikes but Stonge went for a clinch. McCall found himself tripped and on the mat. What was not expected was the result as Stonge managed to hook in a rear naked and submit McCall within three minutes.

Kurt Stonge defeats Tony McCall Submission Rear Naked Choke in 2:08 of round 1

Kunimichi Kikuchi 229lbs [0-0] vs Kye Collins 154lbs [2-0/0-0]

Both men came out swinging but a takedown on Collins left him squished against the cage. Kikuchi pressed hard onto him as he locked in a guillotine. Collins had no choice but to top and will return to SIGMA with a loss on his record.

Kunimichi Kikuchi defeats Kye Collins Submission Guillotine in 2:25 of round 1

Bingwen Park 179lbs [1-1] vs Francesco Marazzina 145lbs [1-1]

Surprisngly this bout went to a decision, only one takedown was landed from nine attempts, seven of which came from Park. A lot of time was spent on the ground and against the cage in the clinch.

Bingwen Park defeats Francesco Marazzina Unanimous Decision in 15:00 of round 1

Ernie Bruns 192lbs [0-1] vs Nigel Malley 185lbs [0-2]

Bruns began the stronger with an explosive attacking arsenal, but the two began to even out. Both throwing equal strikes until a two jab combo followed with a left cross sent Bruns down. Malley immediately pounced and the referee stepped in.

Nigel Malley defeats Ernie Bruns TKO Strikes in 7:26 of round 1

Gunnar Nilsson 265lbs [2-2] vs Frank Analysis 233lbs [1-2]

Just what was needed for Nilsson, with his first attack and first take down he had Analysis where he wanted him and it wasn't long before he had submitted his opponent with his second arm bar attempt after Analysis freed himself from the first.

Gunnar Nilsson defeats Frank Analysis Submission Arm Triangle in 4:26 of round 1

Veeti Kuqi 272lbs [0-2] vs Jack Cobblepot 265lbs [0-2]

This fight didn't have much expectations which seemed to allow both men to enter the cage freely. Kuqi attacked hard and within a few minutes was gassing, Cobblepot saw this and landed a sweet left hand. Kuqi's legs wobbled before Cobblepot landed a second huge blow sending him to the mat. The referee stepped in on this opening bout as Cobblepot rained shots on his downed opponent. Could this be the last of Kuqi?

Jack Cobblepot defeats Veeti Kuqi TKO Strikes in 4:03 of round 1

UFA BREAKING NEWS

Today rumors have begun to circle that UFA is in talks with a major sports network, not only in regards to a possible programming schedule, but also the sale of the company (or at least a stake in it as we are led to believe). UFA has been the front runner of MMA since it opened its doors two years ago and Elijah Barnett has since injected a lot of his personal money into the project. With other companies such as SIGMA hot on their tails, UFA are looking to legitimize not only their sport and the company, but also their brand as a whole and if this deal was to say go through, then UFA could compete on a much bigger scale worldwide. More news as it comes.

UFA : INTERNATIONAL SERIES 2 BRAZIL ANNOUNCED

No further word on the potential purchase of UFA as of yet, however Barnett has today announced that UFA will once again head to International waters as it recently did in Japan. UFA: International Series 2 has been confirmed for Brazil. Barnett expects a host of debutantes from Brazil plus a few Worldwide fighters. As always these will be flanked by UFA's current fighters. He confirmed that Zaco will compete in Brazil as well as Ricardo Fernandes vs Mac Fuller which will headline the event. This will be UFA's second trip around the world and surely can do nothing but positive things for the company which remains in a state of uncertainty.

<strong>March Week 4 1991</strong></p><p><strong>

UFA AND SIGMA COLLIDE</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>In a SIGMA press conference Martyn Staskauskas (Current Middleweight Champion) has expressed his desire to fight another of SIGMA's current champions Hassan Fezzik (Heavyweight). SIGMA do not currently allow open weight bouts and have concretely refused to sanction this bout between two fighters of two different weights. It has however emerged that UFA's Elijah Barnett has approached Staskauskas (who recently fought for UFA in Japan) and Fezzik about the match up. UFA do not have any specific weight divisions and Barnett has said that he would happily pit these two Champions against eachother.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

It is to be seen if both fighters will accept the proposal and how it may effect potential business relationships between the UFA and SIGMA who have so far been able to co-exist with SIGMA allowing two of their fighters to compete inside a UFA cage.</em></p>

<strong>March Week 4 1991</strong></p><p><strong>

Ultimate Fighting Association</strong></p><p><strong>

UFA: THE ULTIMATE ULTIMATE RESULTS</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Main Event</strong></p><p><strong>

The Winner Will Become The "Ultimate Ultimate"</strong></p><p><strong>

Harry Milne 236lbs [6-2] vs Sean Morrison 155lbs [7-0]</strong></p><p>

<em>A first for UFA as a Main Event finishes by Split Decision. Whilst the stats on the sheet may suggest that Milne saw Morrison off, the referees thought otherwise with two scores for Morrison. Morrison was in control of the pace and distance but that did not stop Milne from progressing with two of two takedowns and a lot of strikes from the mat that inevitable came up short as Morrison effectively did more whilst doing less. Morrison remains undefeated and becomes The Ultimate Ultimate.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Sean Morrison defeats Harry Milne Split Decision in 15:00 of round 1</span></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Baylen Delvaux 203lbs [0-2] vs Knox Hird 202lbs [0-2]</strong></p><p>

<em>Another decision victory but this time following a great bout. Delvaux controlled from beginning to end although Hird did show signs of potential and desire to look for the finish. An unlucky loss for the Scotsman but one that was deserved for Delvaux.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Knox Hird defeats Baylen Delvaux Unanimous Decision in 15:00 of round 1</span></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Yevgeni Sipatov 170lbs [3-1] vs Jack Humphreys 168lbs [1-0]</strong></p><p>

<em>Sipatov had become a sort of marmite fighter, whilst most loved his ability to prevent any opponent from advancing, others were not so fond of the long drawn out grind. Humphreys did his best to strike with Sipatov but another grind out resulted in a fourth victory for Yevgeni Sipatov. His ability to defend himself is what earnt him the win.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Yevgeni Sipatov defeats Jack Humphreys Unanimous Decision in 15:00 of round 1</span></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Troyes Bache 338lbs [2-2] vs Tadamasa Yamada 205lbs [1-0]</strong></p><p>

<em>Yamada impressed at his debut and continued the trend against Bache who had 120lbs over him. Bache sprawled a takedown which only pushed Yamada to attack with strikes, a countered left cutting the larger fighter before using his wrestling to push him against the cage and then trip him to the ground. Bache immediately gave up his back and Yamada sealed another impressive victory.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Tadamasa Yamada defeats Troyes Bache Submission Rear Naked Choke in 2:51 of round 1</span></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mal Phe Roby 185lbs [0-0] vs Barney Albritton 123lbs [1-2]</strong></p><p>

<em>A decision victory to follow as Roby took the score card for his debut. A lot of low leg kicks could have been the reason why but nothing else of note. Both men began to tire after substantial time against the cage.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Mal Phe Roby defeats Barney Albritton Unanimous Decision in 15:00 of round 1</span></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jeff Carlton 256lbs [6-4] vs Aki Hida 243lbs [0-1]</strong></p><p>

<em>In a very poor opening bout, Veteran Carlton took on Japanese Hida. Hida took Carlton down but remained in a vulnerable position, after a few minutes of stalemate the referee pulled them both to their feet and signalled that Hida should have a cut checked on his eye that was caused by an elbow from below. The doctor called it.</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;">Jeff Carlton defeats Aki Hida TKO Cut in 5:09 of round 1</span></em></p>

<strong>April Week 1 1991</strong></p><p><strong>

UFA: SOLD</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>News today confirms that UFA Founder and Owner Elijah Barnett has sold a controlling stake to Sports Network Mogul Frank Silver. Silver owns Showtime Sports which currently has three networks operating around the world. Showtimes currently schedule includes Worldwide Boxing and Professional Wrestling and will be the perfect platform for UFA to continue its rise.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Showtime Sports have confirmed that as of June 1991, they will have control over The UFA in all that it does. Barnett will remain on the board and shareholders but will have no direct impact on day to day running, that honor will instead be bestowed upon Ray Miller, a long term Showtime Sports employee who has overseen many of their previous and current sports shows. Miller will make his first press conference in the coming weeks.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Barnett remains in control until then and has today also confirmed that TUF13 will be the last event under current ownership. TUF13 will take place after UFA visits Brazil and will feature a headline bout that may be Barnetts most controversial yet. Current SIGMA Middleweight Champion will take on current SIGMA Heavyweight Champion Hassan Fezzik. We are not sure if this bout is with or against the wishes of SIGMA, but the show will surely be a hit regardless.</em></p>

Co Main Event

Perren Ventre 241lbs [1-4] vs Zaco 185lbs [7-3]

Ventre looked to start with some grappling but Zaco took control with a jab setting up a right. The next few minutes remained the same as Zaco kept Ventre at bay with japs setting up two three combos. Ventre again tried to grapple but Zaco was habing none of it and a countered punch rocks the jaw of Ventre before getting pummeled.

Dan Halvorsen 170lbs [2-1] vs Roberto Aldez 192lbs [0-0]

Aldez gave no room for Halvorsen as the two went the distance.

Roberto Aldez defeats Dan Halvorsen Unanimous Decision in 15:00 of round 1

Ernest Hord 201lbs [1-2] vs Mario de Souza 185lbs [3-2]

Hord was in full control from distance and with de Souza against the cage, using his bigger frame he forced him to carry his extra weight, tiring him out. A trip from de Souza though left him in a dominant position as he looked for a submission. Hord has no answer.

Mario de Souza defeats Ernest Hord Submission Armbar in 10:48 of round 1

Angelino Cascone 184lbs [0-2] vs Porfirio Canto 152lbs [0-0]

Another decision finish as Cascone kept Canto at bay.

UFA: THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER 13 RESULTS

Main Event

Martyn Staskauskas 180lbs [3-0] vs Hassan Fezzik 234Lbs [2-0]

Staskauskas talked the talk but did not walk the walk, he threw no attacks as Fezzik stepped in and out before landing a killer blow after rocking him. Lights out for Staskauskas.

Hassan Fezzik defeats Martyn Staskauskas* Knock Out Punch in 2:41 of round 1

Bogdan Chuchnova 185lbs [0-2] vs Bud Machida 153lbs [0-0]

In the worst of all of his performances Chuchnova managed no strikes thrown or landed, no takedown attempts, no submissions. The whole bout was all in the hands of Machida who stopped playing with Chuchnova just before the bell and finishes his opponent.

Bud Machida defeats Bogdan Chuchnova Submission Rear Naked Choke in 14:18 of round 1

Adrianno Occhino 274lbs [1-2 vs Stafford Alois 260lbs [4-2]

A decision again for Occhino who remained uneventful on his feet but spent most of his time on the mat where he controlled Alois. Alois could have taken this or even finished Occhino if it remained standing.

Adriano Occhino defeats Stafford Alois Unanimous Decision in 15:00 of round 1

Socorro Fragoso 153lbs [0-1] vs Lars Bohlin 145lbs [0-2]

Bohlin impressed and maybe we have a glimpse of what he can do, he controlled Fragoso's pace and showed a lot more in terms of willing to attack which favored with all judges.

Lars Bohlin defeats Socorro Fragoso Unanimous Decision in 15:00 of round 1

Taras Levitsky 143lbs [0-1] vs Gagan Borah 155lbs [0-1]

In what is being called "The Best Fight UFA Has Ever Seen" Levitsky spent nearly a full fight beating on Borah but over committing when it mattered. Rocked on a couple of occasions, Borah managed to scramble away from being finished. Ultimately though he became defenseless as Levitsky forced the referee to call a stop.

Taras Levitsky defeats Gagan Borah TKO Strikes in 11:33 of round 1

Ezzatollah Karimi 134lbs [1-0] vs Robert Adelman 235lbs [1-0]

The night began with an interesting decision bout. Adelman out wrestled Karimi for the decision. Adelman looks to be world class when it comes to controlling his opponent and can certainly take the pain involved with working in against an attack of strikes.

Barnett leads the press conference and confirms that this will be his last event in control of The UFA. He said that he is looking forward to the future of the company and the sport and watching them both grow. With multiple questions being asked he took time to answer every single one. Barnett started this company two years ago and since then it has grown hugely. The fighters that have fought for the company, each better and better. Travelling from across the world to compete inside a cage. He thanked the fans as he always has, thanked the fighters and the staff and then said farewell. A new chapter is upon us as UFA's control now falls under Ray Miller and the Showtime team.

It's Showtime - Ray Miller Press Conference Report

Showtime Sports Network owner and founder Frank Silver revealed Ray Miller to the press in attendance at today's first Showtime Sports press conference. Silver confirmed that as of today he owns a controlling stake in the company and has of course injected a lot of money into it's new chapter and of course a lot of time. He continued that whilst he has the controlling stake, he also has other companies to run and welcomed long time Showtime employee Miller.

Miller thanked him and welcomed the crowd's questions. Below is a breakdown of the conference.

Ray Miller

Miller has been at the company for many years and has worked on many of their huge programs so as of today he will act as President to UFA. He will book events, sign fighters and deal with any day to day running's of the company including speaking with the media.

UFA: Plans for the future

Miller announced huge changes to how the company will operate and referred to them as "Part of an expansion". Firstly all UFA shows will now be able to be purchased and watched on the Showtime Sports Network as a Pay-Per-View program. Whilst Showtime mainly operates in America it is also available across the world, although exposure is limited. The company has be known for its previous sports shows which include Worldwide Boxing, so this in its self should boost the sports popularity.

Miller also said that whilst he will forever respect Elijah Barnett for founding the company, he disagrees with some of the decisions made in the past. The fighters health will and must always remain the companies main priority. Therefore UFA will no longer operate an "Open weight Division". Whilst it has been entertaining to see David vs Goliath fights he would like to see a fairer playing field and therefore UFA will reshuffle its stance on weight divisions.

The company has looked at how both leading companies (UFA and SIGMA) operate and they feel that somewhere in between is where they wish to be. SIGMA currently run many divisions but their roster is not as talented as UFA's. UFA will now operate 4 sanctioned divisions;

UFA Heavyweight Division [206lbs - 305lbs]

UFA Upper Middleweight Division [171lbs - 205lbs]

UFA Lower Middleweight Division [146lbs - 170lbs]

UFA Upper Lightweight Division [116lbs - 145lbs]

UFA Lower Lightweight Division [90lbs - 115lbs]

Moving forward with the divisions, each division will hold a "Contenders" tournament where 4 fighters will compete for a shot at being named "UFA Champion". Each division will be operated on a ranking system, 4 names from each division will be picked for the chance.

With 2 Semi Final Winners heading to a Final bout where the winner will become Champion of their respective division. The Semi Final Stage of the "Tournament" will take place over the first 3 UFA Events on Showtime for The Heavyweight, Upper Middle and Lower Middleweight divisions whilst both Lightweight Divisions will have a champion crowned in the near future.

Miller said that in regards to The Lightweights there is a much smaller pool of fighters at that current weight so UFA wish to leave the Tournaments until they find 4 Fighters who they feel will represent the Division better, however fights in those divisions will still take place so each fighter should give it their absolute best because a great set of performances could earn them the chance to take part.

Fighters Safety And New Rules

UFA Events have previously taken place inside a cage with a 15 Minute time limit in place, this will change. Whilst remaining in a cage (Something Miller said will never change) the time of the bouts will now be fought over 3 rounds of 5 Minutes duration, with an exception for Main Events and future Championship bouts which will be fought over 5 Rounds of 5 Minutes.

Judges decisions will remain if need be and referees have been instructed to undergo special training to better their knowledge inside the cage. The last rule that Miller will change is one that may shock some of the fighters today. From now on UFA will be working closely with AISAD, the World leading Anti Doping agency.

Miller has seen Doping occur in every sport and believes that this makes for an uneven playing field, giving that fighter an advantageous position of their opponent. Every fighter will now be drug tested with sever consequences in anyone who fails or refuses the test.

UFA Future Events

As already noted UFA will be holding 3 initial events on Showtime Sports. The 1st will be held in Washington near Showtime Sports headquarters, the 2nd and 3rd in Oregon and Idaho. UFA will continue to hold events across the country and will also look to continue Barnett's vision of competing across the world as the pool of available fighters grows each and every day.

Miller continued that the 1st 3 event cards will be released as soon as they have been finalized as will the Division tournament brackets. He then took further questions from the media before signing off the press conference.

Division Contender Brackets Released

Ray Miller has today announced the Division Contenders Tournament Bracket via UFA.Com and Showtime Sports News. 4 Men from each tournament will face off in Semi Final Bouts at UFA1 UFA2 and UFA3 on Showtime Sports. The winners will compete at later events to be crowned the first ever Champion of that division. Miller states that the selection process was very difficult as there were some fighters that fuller deserved to be in contention whilst debuts have also been handed out to unproven fighters that UFA wish to invest in and give the chance to carry the division into the future.

HEAVYWEIGHT.jpg

Harry Milne - With a 6-3 Record, Milne has impressed since beginning with UFA back at TUF3. He came runner up to Sean Morrison in "The Ultimate Ultimate" and deservedly finds himself in this tournament.

Hassan Fezzik - Undefeated, the SIGMA Heavyweight Champion recently beat SIGMA Middleweight Champion Staskauskas. Fezzik was invited back as part of the tournament even though he remains a SIGMA fighter. Miller has said that he will address this situation in due course.

Christopher Sharp - A debutante in UFA, Sharp enters with a hype around him. A Wrestler, Sharp also has great strength.

Robert Adelman - Adelman has impressed and remains undefeated, albeit it against smaller fighters. Alot of belief is held in this young submission wrestler.

UPPERMIDDLE.jpg

Zaco - A veteran in the sport, Zaco enters with 8 wins behind him, including victories over Stonge, the much heavier Bache and most recently Jeff Carlton.

Mac Fuller - An almost equal record, Fuller's name goes hand in hand with brutal fights. An opportunity to step up here could push the 28 year old into the top spot of the division.

Mario de Souza - de Souza is known for his duration within the cage, willing to wear down opponents and look for openings. A big victory over Ernest Hord is said to have been the deciding factor for his participation in this event.

Tadamasa Yamada - You would be mistaken if you thought Yamada had no place here, with 2 submission wins and less than 6 minutes total in the cage, Yamada will continue to use his Jiu-Jitsu effectively and could take the top spot quite easily.

LOWERMIDDLE.jpg

Sean Morrison - The Ultimate Ultimate, Morrison was the first name on any divisional list. Undefeated in 8 he will look to continue his amazing run as one of, if not the most dominant fighter in MMA.

Yevgeni Sipatov - With his only loss coming from Zaco, Sipatov has worn down each and every opponent until the last second. 4 Victories by decision, he will look to use his great conditioning to tire his opponent and grind out any win.

Weimin Tso - Tso only has 1 victory, a submission against Seger but is highly thought of. The youngster could be a dark horse in this tournament with his national calibre kick boxing.

Jim Carpenter - His only losses coming by way of Morrison and Foster, Carpenter has impressed in his last 2 fights, finishing both opponents with deadly armbars in less than 6 minutes total.

UFA on Showtime 1 - Morrison vs Sipatov

Full Card

UFA001.jpg

Main Event - Lower Middleweight Semi Final Bout

Sean Morrison [8-0] vs Yevgeni Sipatov [4-1]

Morrison comes in as the favorite with an undefeated record, his last 3 fights against Milne, Zaco and Carlton (All former Ultimate Fighter Winners) came by way of Split Decision, Unanimous Decision and Rear Naked Choke. Morrison is no stranger to going the distance and has done 3 times previously. Sipatov's last 3 ended in judges decisions with all 3 favoring the Russian. Of his 5 bouts, every one has gone the distance so look for Sipatov to try and control Morrison throughout. This is Sipatov's biggest fight to date and arguable the toughest for "The Ultimate Ultimate" Sean Morrison.

Co Main Event - Upper Middleweight Semi Final Bout

Zaco [8-3] vs Mac Fuller [5-4]

The Brazilian has finished 1 of his last 3 bouts (a TKO victory over Ventre) whilst the previous 4 all ended in decision, including 1 loss against Sean Morrison. Fuller's last 3 have also ended by way of decision which seems to be a trend with tonights Main Event fighters. A tough double loss to McCall highlights his loss column among such names as Morrison and Dean, whilst his biggest win to date was that over Mantas Andreyev in less than 2 minutes back at TUF2.

Heavyweight Bout

Kunimichi Kikuchi [1-0] vs Jonah Funk [1-0]

Kikuchi saw victory in his first bout over SIGMA's Kye Collins, ending in less than 3 minutes with a Guillotine. Funk however finished his first opponent with an arm bar, and will enter on the much heavier spectrum of the Heavyweight division.

Upper Middleweight Bout

Jerezo [1-0] vs Bingwen Park [2-1]

Parks only loss came to Zaco at TUF5 which resulted in him breaking his jaw, he has been in impressive form since returning with an early Kimura on Malley and a decision over Marazzina. Jerezo will hope to maintain Park's losing streak to Brazilians as he enters with an impressive sole victory.

Lower Middleweight Bout

Brandon Sugar [0-0] vs Mbwana De Sousa [0-1]

Sugar debuts as he begins to make a name for himself, he has already expressed his dislike for "The Ultimate Ultimate" Sean Morrison, and a win here may lead him down the right (or wrong) road to a future fight. De Sousa will look to pick himself up after a triangle loss at his debut bout. A win could keep him in the mix.

Upper Middlweight Bout

Rob Baines [2-1] vs Mark Cohen [2-2]

2 wins for Baines including a win over the huge Troyes Bache. Cohen has won his last two, but UFA rumours say that a loss here could be his final fight for the company. Look for him to step up to the plate.

Heavyweight Bout

Aki Hida [0-2] vs Ivano Sorich [0-0]

Hida's hype did not translate as he has disappointed losing both bouts, a noteable loss against Staskauskas via guillotine in under 2 minutes. Sorich is well known as someone who goes hard and fast in training so look for him to capitalise on Hida's added pressure to perform.

Upper Middleweight Bout

Knox Hird [1-2] vs Angelino Cascone [1-2]

Cascone's previous 3 ended all by way of decision, the Italian will need to really work hard to beat Scotsman Hird, although a victory is not impossible. Hird shares the same record as Cascone and both have lost to Septiov, tonights Main Eventer.

Week 2 June 1991

Universal-Fighting-Alliance.jpg

UFA on Showtime 2 - Yamada vs de Souza

Full Card

UFA002.jpg

Main Event - Upper Middleweight Semi Final Bout

Tadamasa Yamada [2-0] vs Mario de Souza [4-2]

Yamada has impressed alot of people since he signed with UFA for their trip to Japan at the start of the year. He has worked hard for his spot in this tournament with two dominant submission victories both ending in less than 3 minutes. But de Souza could be the man to derail his plans, the experienced Brazilian will aim to drag Yamada through the course with most of his bouts ending in decision. However he is no stranger to a submission and may look to utilize this on Yamada who has not yet been tested.

Co Main Event - Lower Middleweight Semi Final Bout

Jim Carpenter [3-2] vs Weimin Tso [1-0]

Carpenter is coming in on a 2 win streak with his only losses coming from Foster and Morrison, taking both to a decision. Tso is inexperienced with only 1 bout under his belt, which came as a submission victory back in December of last year against Seger.

Heavyweight Bout

Jeff Carlton [7-4] vs Stafford Alois [4-3]

Carlton is a mixed bag of results. The leader in bouts fought has 4 losses, albeit to Milne, Dean, Zaco and Morrison but has been able to beat other big names along the way. Alois will be a great test for him with his ability to finish opponents. This is a true clash of heavyweights.

Heavyweight Bout

Tony McCall [4-2] vs Gunnar Nilsson [3-2]

McCall will look to reignite his previous win streak where he went 4 without a loss. After losing to Milne and then a tough loss to Stonge (both in less than 5 minutes) a win over Nilsson may put him back on track. Nilsson is yet to maintain a streak and although he has won 3, he has 2 losses sandwiched inbetween. Poor peformances have hindered his growth but should change here as McCall is a better standard of fighter than previous.

Upper Lightweight Bout

Nasih Soltani [0-1] vs Warren Seger [0-1]

In the first Lightweight bout Soltani and Seger are both searching for a win. Both have struggled against larger opponents and the new divisions should see these fighters flourish at a comfortable weight. The roster is shallow so a good performance here could put either man right up there.

Lower Middleweight Bout

Tyler Grafton [0-0] vs Jack Humphreys [1-1]

Grafton debuts here as Humphreys will aim to get back to winning ways after a long hard loss to Sepitov.

Heavyweight Bout

Frank Analysis [1-3] vs Rick Stanley [2-3]

Analysis has struggled to find the form since his impressive win over Hower almost 2 years ago. A loss could seal his fate as Stanley will aim to find his own win after losing 2 on the bounce. A poor performance from either man could see them released, a great performance could suddenly find them back in the mix within a stacked Heavyweight division.

Upper Middlweight Bout

Porter Spradley [0-1] vs Kalyan Walia [1-0]

Spradleys comes in with a loss against Adelman but finds himself a great prospect in a better division. Walia may struggle with the weight difference but is more than capable of a victory.

UFA on Showtime 3 - Milne vs Fezzik

Full Card

UFA003.jpg

Main Event - Heavyweight Semi Final Bout

Harry Milne [6-3] vs Hassan Fezzik [3-0/1-0]

Fezzik will remain SIGMA Heavyweight Champion for the time being, but a win over Milne may see either company offer an ultimatum for his exclusivity. Milne has a great record and shouldn't let his loss to Morrison effect his performance.

Co Main Event - Heavyweight Semi Final Bout

Robert Adelman [2-0] vs Christopher Sharp [0-0]

Sharp debuts with a lot of promise, as Adelman should be tested with his first fight against a heavier opponent.

Heavyweight Bout

Kurt Stonge [3-2] vs Adriano Occhino [2-2]

Stonge avenged his loss to McCall by beating him last time out. A win against Occhino will prove he is a contender. Occhino has talent but will need to up his performance if he is to be noticed in a stacked division.

Upper Middleweight Bout

Mantas Andreyev [2-3] vs Nigel Malley [1-2]

Andreyev's team won Team of the year and has always entered the cage with alot of respect, but another poor performance could spell the end unless he finds a big win over Malley who has been submitted in both of his losses.

Lower Middleweight Bout

Geoff Cahill [2-2] vs Feofilakt Wolinski [0-0]

Wolinski debuts against a talented Cahill who has won and loss both via submission and TKO. Look for Cahills experience to show.

Upper Lightweight Bout

Taras Levitsky [1-1] vs Ezzatollah Karimi [1-1]

Levitsky did great against the heavier Funk and backed that with an impressive win against Borah last time out. Now in a better weight, both he and Karimi have a fair platform to perform.

Lower Middleweight Bout

Bud Machida [1-0] vs Nevio Desio [0-0]

Desio debuts against Machida who left it late when he defeated Chuchnova in his debut.

Upper Middleweight Bout

Roberto Aldez [1-0] vs Mal Phe Roby [1-0]

Both fighters wins come from a decision, so expect someone to step up and finish here. With the middleweight division very open, a good run of wins may give an opportunity for one of these 2 men.

International Contenders Unveiled, Fezzik and Release

CONTENDERS1.jpg

Huge news coming out of UFA as they announce a series of International events. International Contenders will now headline UFA's global en-devours, announced Ray Miller. With the success of previous events, Showtime and Miller are agreed that these events will not only help the company and the sport grow, but will also fill the pool of available fighters and in turn give the fans what they want to see. The worlds best MMA fighters.

The shows will be held 2 or 3 times a year and will feature fighters predominantly from that nation against fighters from around the world. This will be a perfect platform for those lesser known fighters to show the world who they are. With smaller local shows popping up around the globe, a few good performances may land them an opportunity on a Contenders show, with the winners and those who impress perhaps moving forward onto a Main Show.

The first two events have been confirmed with UFA first heading into Canada in November, then starting the new year in Japan.

Miller then addressed the Hassan Fezzik/SIGMA situation. He stated that an offer has been made to Fezzik to exclusively fight for UFA with SIGMA also tabling an offer. As current SIGMA Heavyweight Champion he will need to decide if he wishes to pursue UFA Gold or continue with SIGMA. Both companies however have allowed the fighter time to decide whilst also being able to compete against Milne. A loss may leave him with no option to return to SIGMA but a win will leave his options very open.

UFA have also announced the departure of Troyes Bache. With the new weight divisions set, Bache has become the first unfortunate casualty. Unable to fit into UFA's Heavyweight weight limit, UFA wish Bache all the best with his future endeavors.

<strong>Main Event - Lower Middleweight Semi Final Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Sean Morrison def Yevgeni Sipatov</span></strong></p><p>

Morrison began by refusing to touch gloves, the stage was set. A left jab opened a takedown attempt for Morrison but had to make do with pushing Sipatov against the cage, eventually being split by the referee. Sipatov proved he is a tough match for "The Ultimate Ultimate" as he out wrestled him. Morrison blocked the punches that Sipatov threw, with not much power behind them you could only imagine they were to serve for a greater purpose as he regained his breath and wears down his opponent. The two continued this way for the whole bout. Giving little whilst taking alot. A full 5 rounds passed and there was no clear favourite. The judges decision would be needed as the crowd voiced their disappointment in the main event. </p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Sean Morrison defeats Yevgeni Sipatov (Split Decision in 5:00 of round 5).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Co Main Event - Upper Middleweight Semi Final Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Mac Fuller def Zaco</span></strong></p><p>

Fuller controlled Round 1 with ease, using his jab to keep Zaco at bay aswell as opening up some space to land exchanges. Bleeding from a cut above the hairline, Zaco took control of Round 2, using the cage to hold Fuller up. Fuller looked a little tired which allowed Zaco to slip in a tame strike here and there. With everything on the line in Round 3, Fuller became the most aggressive, blocking a take down whilst still throwing strikes. With the time ticking down Fuller kept Zaco from moving forward, stuck close against the cage until the bell. An anti climax to say the least, but a great fight throughout.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Mac Fuller defeats Zaco (Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of round 3).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Heavyweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Jonah Funk def Kunimichi Kikuchi </span></strong></p><p>

Only 1 of 6 takedowns for Kikuchi whilst Funk scored 3 of 3 and had control for the most part of the bout. Kikuchi spent the 3rd round just smothering Funk with not much else going on.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Jonah Funk defeats Kunimichi Kikuchi (Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of round 3).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Upper Middleweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Jerezo def Bingwen Park</span></strong></p><p>

Park scored a huge suplex early in the 1st and the 2 remained in a battle on the mat. Park opened the 2nd by attempting and failing 4 suplexes, all of which Jerezo defended. Now able to create some space, Jerezo set up a huge upper cut after the jab to knock Park down. Shot after shot landed and the referee stepped in. Jerezo did amazing to over come Parks takedown attempts, another round on the mat could have had a negative effect on him.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Jerezo defeats Bingwen Park (TKO (Strikes) in 3:08 of round 2).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lower Middleweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Brandon Sugar def Mbwana De Sousa</span></strong></p><p>

The 1st starts with both equaling eachother strikes, jab for jab. A missed big right hand allowed Sugar to shoot and get the takedown, immediately locking an arm triangle. An impressive counter attack.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Brandon Sugar defeats Mbwana De Sousa (Submission (Arm Triangle) in 2:19 of round 1).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Upper Middleweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Mark Cohen def Rob Baines</span></strong></p><p>

3 Rounds of Cohen in control after getting a takedown in each round. Baines may have tried too hard to fight on his feet as Cohen controlled the pace on the mat.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Mark Cohen defeats Rob Baines (Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of round 3).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Heavyweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Aki Hida def Ivano Sorich </span></strong></p><p>

The two matched eachother blow for blow on their feet, but Hida scored a great takedown which allowed him to control the 2nd round on the ground. Quite possible the difference between the 2.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Aki Hida defeats Ivano Sorich (Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of round 3).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Upper Middleweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Knox Hird def Angelino Cascone </span></strong></p><p>

The 1st seemed to be both men finding their range, teasing strikes and working their opponent out. The 2nd however, Hird was more aggressive and lifted Cascone before slamming him to the ground. After catching his breath, a glancing elbow landed and Cascone panicked trying to scramble, this only gave her the better positioning as he attempted a Knee Bar. Feeling that it wasn't locked in, he allowed Cascone to re position again before taking his back in the scramble.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Knox Hird defeats Angelino Cascone (Submission (Rear Naked Choke) in 3:56 of round 2).</span></p><p> </p><p>

</strong></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>AISAD, Releases, Attendances, Local Events and Future Contenders</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Today UFA unfortunately announced the news that two fighters had failed AISAD Drug Testing Results prior to their fights at UFA1, subsequently Rob Baines and Mark Cohen have both been released from their contracts. Baines had been found to have Performance Enhancing Drugs in his system which could have been present with his previous bouts and may explain his victorious results. Cohen however had Recreational Drugs found, but UFA have set serious precedents in regards to AISAD and expectations from fighters and see this as a breach of trust. Both men (who actually fought eachother) will have their results overturned to No Contests and UFA may look to move on from the result and wipe it from history.</p><p> </p><p>

In other news we have been looking at potential contenders from the first event with Jonah Funk a highlight. Now 2-0, Funk could be 1 or 2 fights away from a shot at the UFA Heavyweight Championship once it has been crowned, as could Jerezo with the Upper Middleweight after 2 impressive performances. Brandon Sugar made light work of De Sousa and has publicly announced a strong dislike for Sean Morrison. Sugar may be further away from a Title Fight than he would like to believe, but if Morrison were to lose then perhaps his current stance on "The Ultimate Ultimate" may see the two opposite sides of a cage.</p><p> </p><p>

A surge of "Local Events" have now begun to take place throughout the world. The Sport of MMA has taken a huge upwards direction in the last year and whilst UFA and SIGMA are the only recognized official outfits, many local events have started to happen. This can only mean good things for the sport and its fighters and will add to UFA's attempts to showcase lesser known fighters in their home regions when they take to Canada and Japan.</p><p> </p><p>

Lastly UFA and Showtime Sports have made a public announcement thanking all of those involved with the event. UFA1: Morrison vs Sipatov broke attendance records after almost tripling UFA's previous highest record. The boost that UFA will receive from being partnered with Showtime Sports should keep them at the number 1 spot for many years to come. </p></div><p></p><p></p>

<strong>Main Event - Upper Middleweight Semi Final Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Tadamasa Yamada def Mario de Souza</span></strong></p><p>

Yamada's single leg takedown was the beginning of the end for de Souza. Once on the ground Yamada looked at a few attempts for a leg lock, but never took them as de Souza seemed aware and threw a few wild punches in defense. de Souza then grabbed for an arm lock but to no prevail. After a minute of nothing the referee brought them back up. de Souza may have wished he remained on the floor though as a left strike landed to open up a beautiful right kick to the head. de Souza was dazed and Yamada went under his guard with a huge right uppercut that sent him down. Yamada then pounced and the referee jumped in to avoid further damage.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Tadamasa Yamada defeats Mario de Souza (TKO (Strikes) in 4:57 of round 1).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Co Main Event - Lower Middleweight Semi Final Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Jim Carpenter def Weimin Tso</span></strong></p><p>

Carpenter went to shoot but caught a right from Tso and missed a huge left. Trying again he missed the takedown, Tso looked as though he wished to remain on his feet but was unable to avoid the 3rd take down attempt. Carpenter landed in half guard and then pounded away with lefts and rights. The referee had no option but to step in. Carpenter made light work of this.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Jim Carpenter defeats Weimin Tso (TKO (Strikes) in 1:44 of round 1).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Heavyweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Stafford Alois def Jeff Carlton</span></strong></p><p>

A huge heavyweight battle ensued as Alois and Carlton went deep into the 3rd round. A deep cut almost ended it early for Carlton in the 1st and this caused him to momentarily avoid striking with Alois. Carlton ended the 1st with 2 successful take downs and opened the 2nd with another, keen to keep the fight on the mat in his control allowing him to win back the scores at a round a piece. The 3rd looked to go the same way until the referee pulled the stalemate back to the feet. Alois landed a crunching right hook and closed the gap quickly, looking tired he set up a jab and then landed another hook to the jaw. Carlton was out as he went down with just less than 1 minute left. Alois looks a serious contender in this division, as does Carlton who will be upset with the loss.</p><p>

<strong>Heavyweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Tony McCall def Gunnar Nilsson</span></strong></p><p>

McCall did himself a world of good here as he made quick work of Nilsson who is looking less and less a contender with every bout. McCall refused a touch of gloves and closed in, Nilsson landed a jab but stepped back whilst McCall continued forwards. A right cross followed from a jab set up and Nilsson looked hurt, he leaned back against the cage covering up as McCall looked to finish him. Clearly hurt and unable to defend himself, the referee stepped in to save Nilsson from further damage.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Tony McCall defeats Gunnar Nilsson (TKO (Strikes) in 0:57 of round 1).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Upper Lightweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Nasih Soltani def Warren Seger</span></strong></p><p>

Soltani rocked Seger half way through the first with a head kick but was unable to finish. Seger gave little through the 3 rounds, mainly looking for a takedown and jabbing Soltani at a distance whilst Soltani actively looked to attack. The judges decision was made easy by Segers lack of will to look for the win.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Nasih Soltani defeats Warren Seger (Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of round 3).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lower Middleweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Jack Humphreys def Tyler Grafton</span></strong></p><p>

A poor outing for both, with the highlight being Humphreys trash talking to Grafton deep into the 3rd. Grafton landed less than 10 throughout the 3 rounds whilst Humphrey scored almost 5 times that along with 2 successful take downs. Humphrey picks up the win but will need to improve if he is to be a contender in this division.</p><p>

<strong>Heavyweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Frank Analysis def Rick Stanley</span></strong></p><p>

The 1st round was very drab with both men looking a little sheepish, however late in the 2nd Analysis knocked Stanley down with a powerful right hook before pouncing on him. Unable to defend the head shots the referee jumped in.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Frank Analysis defeats Rick Stanley (TKO (Strikes) in 2:35 of round 2).</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Upper Middleweight Bout</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Porter Spradley def Kalyan Walia</span></strong></p><p>

The opening bout was great for the crowd, Walia cut Spradley under the eye with a 1 2 combo, but then found himself against the cage. Unable to trip him, Spradley used his 30lb advantage to suplex him to the mat and pull half guard before landing a sickening amount of shots to the head. The referee had no choice. Walia looked out of his comfort zone with this huge weight disadvantage.</p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;">Official Result: Porter Spradley defeats Kalyan Walia (TKO (Strikes) in 3:02 of round 1).</span></p><p> </p><p>
