The car pulls up to the small apartment. Two figures, dressed conservatively but quirkily, shamble from the vehicle. The man tightens his bowtie.

 

The woman sparks a cigarette.

 

 

Isn't her family, after all. Not directly, anyway. The man heads inside the home, stately but compact, small but not diminutive.

 

"We've got it. We've got the contract"! He announces. The woman heads inside, putting out her half-finished cigarette.

 

"Does that mean we get to move to a bigger house?" The young teenager excitedly asks.

 

As if money kept the family here.

 

"No, no". The room deflates. The audience were hoping for a different answer. For several seconds, there is silence.

 

"Does this mean aunty will be home more"? The girl asks. She seems mildly enthusiastic.

 

"No, I don't think so," the woman responds "If anything, a bit less".

 

"Your father worked really hard for this. I know it doesn't seem like much to you, or really anyone else, but I really think this will pay dividends. I'm optimistic" says the woman.

 

The four people in the room continue to peck away at their meals. The older woman stares down her husband, who shakes a bit, twitching nervously.

 

"Come here, Clark, seems you've had an exciting day". Clark hugs his wife, lovingly.

 

Something is amiss.

A knee strike to the arm makes Raphael flinch. Clark Alexander tries to interfere in the match, helping out Raphael to prevent Edison from picking up the fall. Paul Steadyfast just wants to cause havoc, and seems somewhat uninterested in picking up the win. He's trying to get outside the ring where the referee can't see him break rules. Roy Edison and Clark Alexander face off in the makeshift ring. Dark clouds begin to gather over the arena. Edison jumps the bell by a split second and spears Alexander down. He lands several stiff elbows to Alexander before lifting himself up with the second rope and landing a knee strike to the left arm! He wrenches the arm for several seconds before Alexander manages to get to the ropes, forcing a break.

 

Doppo resets the match. Edison charges at Alexander again, who leapfrogs him, and lands a dropkick to Edison! He picks up Edison. Edison rakes the eyes! Alexander stumbles to the mat. Roy takes the advantage. He lands several vicious strikes to Alexander, before using the hip toss to put Clark in the corner. He then executes several knee strikes to the left arm, before working over the limb.

 

Rain begins to fall on The Sanctuary. Both fighters are drenched, but it's not bad enough to demand cover.

 

Clark backs up, and attempts a glancing blow, but Alexander rolls through! Clark goes for another drop kick. He sends Edison into the ring post. Clark pulls himself up with the right arm. He lands several punches to Edison. He backs up -- and lands a Superkick to Edison's head! Clark backs up again, goes for the corner splash. Roy Edison knees him in the groin! Low blow!

 

Clark wrenches in pain. Roy applies the arm bar. Clark, with his right hand, manages to grab the rope. The referee calls for a rope break. Edison won't budge! He keeps wrenching the arm!

 

Doppo stops the match! He declares Alexander the winner by disqualification!

 

Clark Alexander defeats Roy Edison by DQ when Roy refused to release the Arm Bar!

 

 

Roy Edison stands tall. Doppo warns him not to continue his attack. Roy lands several stiff blows to Alexander, targeting his left arm. Doppo gets between the two.

 

Doppo wipes the rainwater from his brow. The mat has several small puddles on it.

 

Roy looks at the crowd. He picks up Doppo -- and hits a vicious powerbomb to the referee! Clark gets up, Roy kicks him, and throws him to the outside!

Gimme a microphone

!" Roy yells.

 

 

Dane O'Hara, the announcer, slides his microphone into the ring. Roy stares him down. He picks up the microphone.

 

"

Clark, Doppo, I'm going to wrestle -- but I only compete under my rules! You want to face me -- the most dangerous man in Hawaii -- you're gonna do it on my terms

!" Roy says. He drops the microphone.
