<p>Non-Title Match</p><p>

Barry Hardy and Bob Bradley vs. <strong>The Hart Foundation</strong></p><p>

Comments: Obvious squash match here </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Undertaker</strong> vs. Shane Douglas</p><p>

Comments: I really liked Shane Douglas back then, especially in his NWA/WCW days. Unfortunately, he shouldn't be a match for Taker.</p><p> </p><p>

Mike Sharpe vs. <strong>The British Bulldog</strong></p><p>

Comments: Sharpe was one of many legendary WWF jobbers. He might give Bulldog a run.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Power & Glory</strong> vs. The Rockers</p><p>

Comments: A good match here. I like the Rockers, but Power and Glory, as others have said, deserved a chance at the tag titles.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sgt. Slaughter</strong> vs. Nikolai Volkoff</p><p>

Comments: Your classic American anti-American vs. Anti-American hero so to speak. Problem is, Slaughter was on a roll back then and I don't think Volkoff can stick with him.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Million Dollar Man</strong> vs. Tito Santana</p><p>

Comments: I feel like this match won't end cleanly. I wouldn't even be surprised if it ended by DQ. I'd be shocked if Virgil didn't play a role.</p><p> </p><p>

Thoughts On Diary: Very good start, keep it up. Would really like to see someone take a WWF or WCW roster from the early 90's and turn it into a brand split like I tried to do.</p>

So he issues challenge to Hart Foundation at Royal Rumble. Hart Foundation versus Orient Express for the World Wrestling Federation World Tag Team titles. He says that how they answer will determine whether or not they are stupid or cowards. They have to be one or the other because it's stupid to face Orient Express but coward to refuse this challenge. Bret gets on the microphone and tells Fuji to shut up. He says that The Anvil and he will accept the challenge for the match at the Royal Rumble. This is definitely a fast-paced match between these two smaller wrestlers. After some back and forth between the two, Roma catches Michaels with a picture perfect dropkick in the center of the ring. Roma flexes to boos from this crowd. Roma lifts Michaels and runs him into the turnbuckles upside down, tying him up in the tree of woe position. He steps back and then rushes, ramming a hard knee into the ribs of Michaels before pulling him down. The crowd begins clapping to try and bring Michaels back into the match as Roma heads to the top turnbuckle. Roma goes for his Glory Splash off the top turnbuckle but Michaels gets a boot up and Roma crashes head-first into the boot. Michaels gets a second wind, nipping up and catching Roma with a clothesline. Michaels climbs backward to the second turnbuckle and leaps, catching Roma with an Asai Moonsault in the ring. Michaels goes into a jackknife cover but only gets a two count on Roma. As Michaels gets up, Slick climbs onto the apron. Michaels walks over and grabs Slick, threatening to punch him! Slick keeps Michaels distracted as Roma gets to his feet behind him. Roma charges in but Michaels releases Slick, ducking and Roma nearly hits Slick! That is the problem with Sgt. Slaughter. But that will come at the Royal Rumble. Slaughter motions to </em><em><strong>General Adnan</strong></em><em> and it takes a moment before Adnan realizes this but Adnan makes it over and grabs the flag, handing it off to Slaughter. Then he gives Slaughter a lighter and a microphone. Slaughter says that he is going to burn this flag as a symbol of the United States being burned to the ground by the Iraqi forces. He says that, like The Ultimate Puke, the United States does not stand a chance against their enemies. As he flicks the lighter, 'Real American' begins to play and out from the back comes </em><em><strong>Hulk Hogan</strong></em><em>! Hogan races down toward the ring, sliding in and beginning to brawl with Slaughter! The flagpole falls in the corner as Hogan and Slaughter trade punches in the center of the ring. With the power of his Hulkamaniacs, Hogan starts to get the advantage. First, he sends General Adnan over the top rope with a clothesline and then turns back to Slaughter. Slaughter quickly escapes the ring before further damage can be done. Hogan grabs the flag and begins to wave it in the center of the ring as the announcers cheer on The Immortal one. Santana says that right now The Ultimate Warrior is the best because he earned the WWF Heavyweight title. The Million Dollar Man is escorted to the ring by his bodyguard/man-servant Virgil. Once the bell sounds, Ted DiBiase offers Tito Santana a handful of bills to simply lie down and take the loss. Santana knocks the money out of the way and catches DiBiase with a dropkick! Both men pop up and Santana drops DiBiase with two straight arm drags and then transitions into an armbar. Santana wrenches on the arm for about twenty seconds before DiBiase fights his way up to his feet. DiBiase grabs Santana by the hair and drags him back into a corner. The referee looks for a clean break but DiBiase pokes Santana in the eye! DiBiase gets into control and begins focusing in on the back of Santana. He catches Santana with a body slam and then a fist drop that scores a two count. DiBiase picks up Santana and goes for The Million Dollar Dream but Santana pulls them both to the ropes, using the ropes to break the hold. DiBiase kicks Santana in the gut and brings him over with a gutwrench suplex in the center of the ring. He picks up Santana and tosses him out of the ring by Virgil's feet. DiBiase gets the attention of the official and Virgil looks down at Santana. Santana begins pulling himself up using the body of Virgil. Virgil grabs Santana and just rolls him back in the ring. DiBiase walks over and then exits the ring, arguing with Virgil. He shoves Virgil and Virgil's right hand curls into a fist but he backs down as Santana catches DiBiase with a baseball slide kick! DiBiase grabs Santana around the waist, pulls back in a bear hug position before ramming him back-first into the ring apron. DiBiase stops the count and then grabs Santana, Irish whipping him into the steel barricade. DiBiase tosses Santana back in the ring and joins him inside, moving to the second turnbuckle. He leaps and catches Santana with a pointed elbow to the skull. DiBiase celebrates by posing on the second turnbuckle, facing the crowd. He takes in the boos from this audience here in the Kiel Auditorium. DiBiase turns back around and picks up Santana but Santana fires back with a few punches, first to the gut and then to the head. DiBiase falls to his knees, begging off from Santana but Santana doesn't back down. Instead, he fires a few more punches before sending DiBiase to the ropes. Two more slaps nearly knock Virgil down to the mat. Virgil's fingers curl into fists, looking like he's ready to fight back against DiBiase. In the announce booth, Roddy Piper cheers on Virgil, hoping that Virgil will turn here on DiBiase. Virgil draws his arm back but DiBiase steps in and whispers in Virgil's ear. After the whisper, Virgil looks dejected and beaten. He takes the bill and turns back to Tito Santana, stuffing the bill in Santana's mouth as DiBiase raises his arms up in victory. That, however, can change as we move forward.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> I'm glad you like the start of the diary so far. Luckily, everyone can play the game in their own way and their own style. What might not work for me can definitely work for someone else. But thank you for reading and commenting and predicting. I really do appreciate the support.</span></p>

We have a huge main event this week as </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Mr. Perfect</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> defends the Intercontinental title against </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Greg Valentine</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;">. In order to earn this title shot, The Hammer defeated Koko B. Ware in a show in Illinois. He is also a former Intercontinental Champion, having won the title back in 1984. Can Valentine become a two time Champion? </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Bobby Heenan</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> would definitely say no as the two time Intercontinental Champion plans to keep his title here and go on to the Royal Rumble where he will be facing Big Bossman. Make sure you tune in to the USA network to find out.</span><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> -We will also see The Model </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Rick Martel</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> in action as he takes on </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Sam Houston</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;">. This is a rematch from a couple of weeks ago where Martel refused to release the Quebec Crab and Houston's brother </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Jake Roberts</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> made the save. WWF President </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Jack Tunney</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> granted Houston this request for a rematch this week on Prime Time Wrestling. Mike Sharpe vs. Big Bossman

Comments: Big Bossman has bigger and better fish to fry. He will crush Sharpe.

Earthquake and Dino Bravo vs. Shane Douglas and Al Burke

Comments: This is a team I truly think can beat The Hart Foundation more than any other team in WWF at this time. Their sheer size alone out does Neidhart, and Bret's technical prowness can't overpower The Earthquake.

Orient Express vs. The Bushwhackers

Comments: I think the Bushwhackers are the perfect fodder for any team in WWF. Heel or Face, they can't get far. I may not like the Orient Express, but they need their momentum against The Hart Foundation. To which I believe they will lose.

The Warlord vs. The British Bulldog

Comments: Honestly I'd love to see a swerve here were Bulldog wins big here, but Warlord still finds a way to eliminate him. That or they eliminate eachother. Like maybe for kicks, Bulldog would pick a number, NOT 30, and Warlord is the next one and he and Bulldog tackle eachother.

Rick Martel vs. Sam Houston

Comments: I'm gonna bet that Jake Roberts will scare Martel out of the ring with Damien, and then Houston wins via count out.

Brooklyn Brawler vs. Jimmy Snuka

Comments: I love what Brawler does. He makes everyone look great while he looks like poop. Idk how or why Bobby Heenan brought him to his family lol.

Mr. Perfect vs. Greg Valentine

Comments: Mr. Perfect is a fantastic prototype of a wrestler of what others would aspire to be. He is simply Perfect. While Greg Valentine, is still.... Greg Valentine.

Over The Top Rope Challenge Match

Winner Chooses Between 25-30 In The Royal Rumble

The Warlord vs. The British Bulldog

Comments: At least to me, this is pretty much a coin flip and depends on which way you want to progress this story. I´d figure Warlord wins here only to be eliminated in Royal Rumble by Bulldog despite Bulldog being in the ring for longer time.

Over The Top Rope Challenge Match

Winner Chooses Between 25-30 In The Royal Rumble

The Warlord vs. The British Bulldog

Comments: This one could go either way. I can see both winning but I'll go with The Warlord, setting him up to be eliminated by The Bulldog at the Rumble- Warlord.

Thoughts On Diary: KUTGW

Hey Zergon and lionsden03! Thanks for the predictions and the comments. This match, in particular, is definitely the coin flip match of the night. I can get behind both a Warlord and Bulldog push in the future as I liked both superstars. But everyone definitely has an interesting look toward the future as a result of this match.

Orient Express vs. The Bushwhackers

Comments: The Express are looking to step up to the Hart Foundation, they need to be defeating the Bushwhackers.....for what it's worth I can't stand the Bushwhackers. Anytime I play this time period I generally turn them heel after a series of losses causes them to go back to their hardcore Sheepherder roots

Mr. Perfect defends vs. Greg Valentine

Comments: I never liked Greg as a singles wrestler, he was too bland for me....give me Terry Taylor and The Hammer, The Dream Team, or even Rhythem and Blues over solo Greg.....and he's definitely not beating Perfect for the belt

Hey to4sty! Thanks for the predictions and comments. If it makes you feel any better, I don't really like what Vince did to the Bushwhackers either. It's a shame, though, that both of them are in declining physical ability when the game starts. It just might mean the difference between a small tag team division push and a tag team JTTS.

I can understand not liking The Hammer. He's technically sound but he's kind of like Apollo Crews in real life. Crews is a great wrestler but has zero charisma, IMO. Oh and you forgot to mention Greg Valentine and Ric Flair. :)

Hey FellaLibby! Welcome to the diary and thanks for the predictions and comments! I do like the team of Earthquake and Dino Bravo. I don't think they were given their due in real life. But that was probably because of the turn of Tugboat into Typhoon and the start of The Natural Disasters. But I can definitely see this team as contenders in the future. Will they be? You have to make sure to keep tuning in to find out.

Orient Express vs. The Bushwhackers

Comments:If the express expect to beat the Hart Foundation, they need to get the win. Now if it was the Sheepherders the Express wouldn't have the chance. A shame what Vince did to the team of Butch and Luke

Thoughts On Diary:keep it up. Don't see Dibiase and The Undertaker loosing their match. So I guess father and son headed back down south:D

Hey horseman4lyfe! Thanks for the predictions and the comments. As I said earlier, I definitely agree with you on what Vince did to the Sheepherders/Bushwhackers. They were an animalistic tag team that basically got neutered. Will 1991 be their year, though? Make sure to keep tuning in.

Thanks for the thoughts. I can tell you that when the game starts, Dusty and Dustin are working for both WWF and WCW. They are on a loan deal with WWF for just a few shows.

Thoughts On Diary: Like where it's going still looking forward to the Royal Rumble and see how it the lead in to WrestleMania goes.

Hey RyanR93WKU! Thanks for the predictions and comments. Glad that you're enjoying where the diary is moving forward. I can tell you that I am really looking forward to posting the Royal Rumble. I have quite a few surprises lined up for both the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania that I hope that everyone enjoys. There will be at least three or four mystery participants in the Rumble that will make an impact moving forward to WrestleMania.

Warrior stands up and grabs the ropes beginning to shake them as the crowd goes wild. Warrior is given a microphone and he raises the WWF Heavyweight title belt, shouting out 'TALK TO ME WARRIORS!' He snarls and says that, in less than two weeks, he is going to step in the ring with that turncoat Sgt. Slaughter. But tonight is not about him. Tonight he is here to challenge The Macho King to come and meet him face to face in the ring instead of attacking him from behind. He says that Savage is not a warrior like he is and he would destroy Savage in the ring thanks to the power of all of his Warriors! Warrior snarls as Sherri tries to sneak up behind him with the sceptor. Sherri raises the sceptor but Warrior turns at the last moment and grabs her forearm, forcing her to release the sceptor! Location: Antelope Gymnasium (South West)

Attendance: 1,430

Overall Rating: B+

TV Rating: .45

-At the announce booth, Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan welcome everyone to WWF Superstars. They run down the card, focusing on the main event where Dino Bravo takes on Jake Roberts. Heenan throws in a few insults for Ricky Steamboat and Big Bossman's mother before Monsoon sends us to the ring...B

-In a decent match, The Million Dollar Man(B) defeated Jim Powers(D) in 6:03 by submission with a Million Dollar Dream...B-

-Having picked up the victory, The Million Dollar Man celebrates in the ring. He calls Virgil into the ring and tells him to stuff the money down the throat of Jim Powers. Virgil shakes his head and DiBiase slaps him. Virgil fires back with a shove that sends DiBiase to the mat. Powers gets up and exits the ring as DiBiase stares daggers at Virgil. Virgil turns and begins to exit the ring when DiBiase gets up and whispers something in his ear. Virgil looks defeated and holds the ropes open for DiBiase. The two of them leave to the back together...B+

-A video plays recapping Mr. Perfect vs. Greg Valentine from Prime Time Wrestling. Perfect wins and calls out Big Bossman. Bossman is attacked from behind by Haku and The Barbarian and brought to the ring. The save is made by the returning Ricky Steamboat...B-

-In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and little heat, Koko B. Ware(D) defeated Mike Sharpe(D+) in 4:24 by pinfall with a Bird Buster...D+

-A video plays recapping the incident between The Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage from Prime Time Wrestling...A

-In an extremely short match, Power© and Glory(C-) defeated The Bushwhackers(Butch-D+, Luke-D) in 4:13 when Paul Roma defeated Bushwhacker Butch by pinfall with The Power-Plex...C-

-Animal cuts a backstage promo where he talks about losing his long-time tag team partner to an injury. He promises that Hawk will return but there is no one else he would rather team with. He says that he spoke with Hawk and gained Hawk's permission to wrestle in singles matches until Hawk's return. He warns the WWF roster that they are going to feel what a rush...C+

-In a decent match, Jake Roberts(B-) defeated Dino Bravo(C-) in 7:37 by pinfall with The DDT...B

-Having picked up the victory, Jake Roberts celebrates in the ring. He grabs the snake bag and unleashes Damian on top of a scared Dino Bravo. Then, he gets on the microphone and warns Rick Martel that this will be him at the Royal Rumble...C+

Hey readers,

I hope you're having a great new year. I have a question to lay out to my readers. How would you feel if I changed the formatting of my Prime Time Wrestling to the same format that I use for WWF Superstars. The pay-per-views would be complete write-ups as per usual. It would just make my life easier to shorten up the write-ups for Prime Time. It would also make things go a little faster. I write my own angles with a few exceptions so those would make it in, obviously, as they do for Superstars. I might do a little longer writings for anything huge that happens on the show. But I wanted to toss out this question to my readers and see what y'all think.

Tough call for me, so I'll sit happily as Fency Fencerton on this one...

Would love to see you have a lighter workload, and I definitely know the big difference it will make, as we use a pretty similar formatting for shows.

That being said, I enjoy your presentation on Prime Time Wrestling for that reason. :p Very much.

Either way, really loved seeing Steamboat there for the show's end! :D

This will be the go-home show to the Royal Rumble as we prepare for what is a huge show on the road to WrestleMania. We have learned about a huge main event this evening as </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>The Million Dollar Man</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> and </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>The Undertaker</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> take on the team of </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Hulk Hogan</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> and </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>The Ultimate Warrior</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;">. The Million Dollar Man and The Undertaker will team up at the Royal Rumble against Dusty and Dustin Rhodes, while Hulk Hogan will be in the Royal Rumble and The Ultimate Warrior will defend the WWF Heavyweight title against Sgt. Slaughter. We had a face-to-face interaction on the Brother Love Show between The Undertaker and Hulk Hogan that has led to this match. Who will gain momentum on the road to the Royal Rumble?</span><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> -We will have another edition of Piper's Pit hosted by </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Roddy Piper</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;">. His special guest this week is the man who returned to the WWF last week, </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Ricky Steamboat</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;">! Last week we saw Steamboat save the Big Bossman and knock all three members of </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>The Heenan Family</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> from the ring with a steel chair. You can guarantee that Piper will ask the tough questions on the Pit about Steamboat's return. Make sure you tune in and find out.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> -The first hour main event will be a huge one in the battle between Iraq and the USA as turncoat </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Sgt. Slaughter</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> takes on the All-American </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Jim Duggan</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;">. Hacksaw has warned that he would be willing to use the 2X4 to knock some sense into Slaughter during this match. Last week, Slaughter fired his now-former manager </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>General Adnan</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> so he will be going into this match alone against Duggan. Will that make for a change in this match? Make sure that you're watching the USA network to find out.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> -We have, also, learned that this show will begin with a brand new talk show called The Poetry Slam. It will be hosted by </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>The Genius</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> and his special guests will be </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Slick</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;">, </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>The Warlord</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> and </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Power and Glory</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;">. How will this new talk show go? Will The Genius be able to ask the tough questions to Slick and his group? Make sure you are tuned in at the beginning of the show to watch this brand new talk show.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> -Plus we will see </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Haku</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> and </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>The Barbarian</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> in action, </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Mike Sharpe</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> will face </span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Saba Simba</strong></span><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> and more right here on Prime Time Wrestling!</span></p></div></blockquote></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"><strong>Prediction Listing</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> The Nasty Boys vs. The Bushwhackers</span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> Comments: </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> Mike Sharpe vs. Saba Simba</span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> Comments: </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> Sgt. One of the big questions that I have is if it would knock off some readers if I changed the format like that. As you know, it would make a big difference in workload. The other question I have is if people actually read the full writings or if they just skim over them. I am not insulted either way. But there's no sense in making a long write-up if it's not being read, you know? </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:GEORGIA;"> Glad you enjoyed the Steamboat return. He definitely has some huge plans for the future.</span></p>

Haku and The Barbarian vs. Jim Powers and Shane Douglas</p><p>

Comments: Sounds like a squash to me - going with Haku and The Barbarian.</p><p> </p><p>

Brooklyn Brawler vs. Greg Valentine</p><p>

Comments: Brawler does what he does best: loses and makes the opponent look good.</p><p> </p><p>

The Million Dollar Man and The Undertaker vs. Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior</p><p>

Comments: No way the Hulkster and the Warrior are losing here.</p><p> </p><p>

Thoughts On Diary: </p><p> </p><p>

Thoughts On Formatting Question: In my opinion, the most essential part to a successful diary is longevity. If you think lightening the load a bit will help with that, then I'm all for it.</p>

Thoughts On Formatting Question: Short and concise except in special circumstances (eg Mankind winning the title on Raw, or some kind of legendary angle. Otherwise I feel matches outside of PPVs can be short and the big write ups saved for big events)</p>
