That might have been the single greatest over all pay per view of all time.

The Buy In match was entertaining and the return of the Butcher is awesome.

Eddie Kingston might be the most over person that Miro has faced so far in his title defenses. That crowd was crazy for everything Eddie did. It's a shame a low blow was used in the finish, but at least Eddie didn't lose clean. Tremendous way to start the show though.

Kojima and Mox was very fun as well, but the real treat was Minoru freaking Suzuki debuting! I joked with my friend earlier in the day saying "how crazy would it be if Minoru showed up tonight?" and I got freaking goosebumps! I am so excited for Dynamite to see them tear it up.

Britt vs Statlander exceeded my quite honestly high expectations. Stellar match and Statlander looked strong in defeat.

The Young Bucks vs Lucha Bros was one of the finest tag team matches I have ever seen. The way Penta and Fenix clutched the belts like they were the most important thing in the world was wonderful and Alex continues to be a great manager for the Lucha Bros.

The Casino Women's Battle Royale was perfectly place. It was great, but completely different than the insane tag match before hand. Ruby was the popular pick to be the Joker and sometimes it's good to be predictable and this is certainly one of those times. Ruby is a good hand and has a unique look. I am very much looking forward to her match with Britt.

Jericho vs MJF was a very emotional match for me. I remember seeing one of Jericho's first or second matches in ECW and thinking to myself(despite being a child) that he was going to be someone. I was terrified that his career was going to end, but at the same time okay with it ending. MJF, Jericho, and AEW in general have done a really good job building this feud. I love that a pro wrestling company made me feel this emotional.

Punk vs Darby was a slow build, but very, very good match. Punk didn't look like it's been seven years since his last match in the slightest. Allin took the expected loss, but he loses nothing. He had a great showing against a legend that is trying to prove he still has it. I look forward to seeing what both men do going forward. Also, seeing Sting and CM Punk shake hands was surreal as hell to me. Two very huge parts of two very different parts of my wrestling fandom interacting is just crazy.

Wight vs QT was perfectly placed as a come down match. Obviously it wasn't pretty and it wasn't meant to be. I don't want to see Paul wrestling full time, but in situations like this, I'm more than okay with it.

Good Moxley promo to hype his match with Minoru Suzuki.

Black's promo was very good and great hype for his match with Dustin. As much as I'd love to see a competitive match between Black and Dustin, I'm also interested in seeing Black dismantle Dustin completely.

Avalanche One Winged Angel :eek::eek:

Yet again, Christian gets one of Omega's best AEW performances. They work really, really well together. Seriously, despite it being predictable Cage would lose, they built the match so well that I fell for Cage's near fall after the Killswitch. Super entertaining match.

The Adam Cole tease/Elite joining was a great moment. I'm not even a huge fan of Cole, but I see his worth to other fans.

Bryan friggin Danielson debuting was amazing too.

Seriously, what a freaking show. I feel like a broken record, but holy crap, what a show.

Not even being sick could stop me watching... it just took me longer than usual.

- HFO vs Best Friends & Jurassic Express was fun. Perfect match to sell casuals on the PPV.

- Kingston vs Miro © was great. That's what Miro/Archer should have been.

- Kojima vs Mox was good. Nice to hear the crowd cheer for Kojima. Minoru Suzuki! I marked out for that exchange.

- Statlander vs DMD © was good but could have done with a few more minutes. Pittsburgh Sunrise!

- Lucha Bros vs Young Bucks © was a top tier cage match & MOTY Contender. Hype entrance and win for the Lucha Bros!

- Women's Battle Royale was fun. Ruby Soho! I hope they address the Riho elimination botch.

- MJF vs Jericho was great. MJF's trolling and the live Fozzy entrances were a nice touch. I enjoyed the fakeout finish. MJF did some of the best selling of his career.

- Darby vs Punk was great even before the bell rung. Punk looked fantastic and hasn't adjusted his moveset too much from 8 years ago. Darby with that helicopter intro budget.

- QT vs Wight was OK to help attract casuals. So long as they don't shoehorn either guy on to every PPV. Smart promoting the next Dynamite on PPV.

- Christian vs Omega © was great. Adam Cole is Elite Baybay! BRYAN DANIELSON!

My memory of past PPVs is dodgy but this was probably the best one yet.

Funny, in Europe I can get to see most of AEW just from Youtube, while WWE are blocking everything.

From what I have seen, this was one of the best PPV in the last 10 years. Everything seemed to make sense.

And from what I get to see from Smackdown/Raw (on paid TV)...it's boring as hell. The few good things they had going (the Cesaro-push for example) was dropped. Kevin Owens has been dragged into midshow and, let's face it, Edge's return could have been way better (Christian is overtaking him in AEW).

So... Kevin Owens' contract is up in January and he already started teasing something...

It really seems like people are seeing their friends so happy to be in AEW whereas most of the talent looks miserable in WWE, and the game is really shifting. Next year is going to be wild.

He's trolling... for now. WWE is probably jerking him on contract demands as they are trying to get costs down. What better way to improve your negotiating position than to drum up AEW interest and get people buzzing. He's in a very different place now. Family man, WWE is probably option 1. But we'll see. He might be on that "indie guy" list and be on the chopping block as they transition to self-developed talent that they can own.

It's trolling... until it isn't. Honestly it seems like some guys that love wrestling would be willing to go to AEW giving the state the two companies are in. Yes, WWE is the big corporation with the big money, but AEW really is something else. Cole and Bryan said it better: "I loved being there, I had no reason to leave, but I still did."

Both had very obvious reasons to go. Kevin really doesn't. I would be legit shocked if he left WWE at this point. He's been here for a long time, not a good time since the end of the Jericho feud. Similar situation to Joe and Devitt. Money is the primary motivator and all these guys jumping makes their spots a lot more cozy right where they are.

I could be wrong. But the only guy I'm 100% sure is leaving left on the WWE roster is Gargano. Love to see Asuka jump, but I don't think she will. I'd like to see Sasha jump, but I don't think she ultimately will. Everybody else is already over there.

- Black vs Dustin was good. Dustin's mouth leaking blood was a fitting visual.

- Happy for Lucha Bros. I love how excited Alex gets. More Eddie & Miro promos!

- Hype Man Phil. I want Punk against all 3 members of Team Taz. Time for PnP to shine. Finally a Women's title match getting an early build.

- Hobbs vs Dante was good.

- Lambert's promos are great but it's time to move the storyline along. Hair vs hair match... whatever.

- MJF is amazing. Solid promo from Pillman. Another Wardlow turn tease.

- Hayter vs Ruby was good. I love that Ruby's theme gets straight to the point. Riho on Dynamite! Stat. Ricky promo. Anna laying down the law.

- FTR & Spears vs Dark Order was good. Silver is a beast. Dark Order: Civil War... only Hangman can save them.

- Nice hype video for the women's division. Tully calling out Sting! The Acclaimed back on Dynamite.

- The Elite segment was entertaining. I marked out for the Kenny/Danielson part.

- Suzuki vs Mox was my MOTN even though it was a bit short. More blood!
