McKenna repeats the Outcasts' point of view and says that after Bantom and Mallory hopefully taught Orson a lesson last week, now they're going to be his biggest allies, because the Outcasts need proof of his allegiance; to do so, he will have to team up with them and take the NGW Openweight titles from Dovydas Vidmar and the Ivanoff brothers! "The Steppe Cowgirl" Anna Twirl vs "The Black Widow" Zofia Jankovic In a terrible match, Zofia Jankovic defeated Anna Twirl in 11:06 by pinfall with a K.O. Head Kick. Geena the Warrior Princess cuts a promo next, saying she's all too happy to face J-Ro for the NGW Women's title, but first she must take care of business and reclaim her necklace from the dastardly Darkness Cat. DarK_RaideR
Back to the Future, Monday Week 4 of November 2013 NGW Back to the Future (Weekly TV show) Held on Monday, Week 4 of November 2013 Venue: Premyslid Arena, Czech Republic, Europe Attendance: 4.804, Ratings: 0.72 (542.280 viewers), Shown on Continental Sports X1 Captain Hero II kicks off the show with a hot promo on his upcoming singles match against Marat Khoklov at Reach for the Sky, then announces that in tonight's main event, Christopher Lister and Adam Matravers will be taking on Lister's Reach for the Sky opponent Edward Cornell with a mystery partner. Aleksander Knyazev vs Marcello Ricci In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and little heat, Aleksander Knyazev defeated Marcello Ricci in 10:10 by stoppage when Marcello Ricci was knocked out and could not continue. Paolo Gandalfini and Giovanni Bruno rush to the ring to check on their fallen Army of Lovers teammate, then turn on hometown hero Knyazev, who they beat down as the audience boos them. Rodriguez & Behr vs Etsuko & Jacobs In a bout that had superb wrestling and good heat, Rodriguez & Behr defeated Viv Jacobs and Fusae Etsuko in 11:21 when Jeri Behr defeated Viv Jacobs by pinfall with a Standing Moonsault. Next up, it's time for Champagne Lover to do what he does best, which is talk about himself. This is not a hyperbole even, as between his unscripted skill on the mic and his soaring popularity, by this point he might as well be talking about the weather and fans would still lose their minds. Team Fly vs Cornell & Hossam In a bout that had superb wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Team Fly defeated Hossam & Cornell in 14:16 when Christopher Lister defeated Wael Hossam by pinfall with a Kanobi Kutter after Edward Cornell turned on Hossam. DarK_RaideR
Proving Ground, Tuesday Week 4 of November 2013 NGW Proving Ground (Weekly TV show) Held on Wednesday, Week 4 of November 2013 Venue: Premyslid Arena, Czech Republic, Europe Attendance: 4.419, Ratings: 0.68 (513.110 viewers), Shown on Continental Sports X1 Leon Harrison vs Roy Edison In a decent match, Leon Harrison defeated Roy Edison in 10:28 by pinfall with a PRIDE Driver. Backstage, Andriy Boronin and Zofia Jankovic seem to have caught Landon Mallory by surprise and beat him down, before Jankovic hits him with a K.O. Kick that sends him crashing through a nearby wooden panel. X marks the Spot match Darkness Cat vs Geena the Warrior Princess In a decent match, Geena The Warrior Princess defeated Darkness Cat in 9:33 when Geena The Warrior Princess retrieved the necklace that was hanging above the middle of the ring where the two X wires meet. Once the match was over, Geena the Warrior Princess put on her recently reclaimed necklace and got on the mic to cut a fierce final promo before her match against Joanne Rodriguez later this week. Clearly upset, the Outcasts were out to address the earlier attack on Landon Mallory. Spearheaded by Viper McKenna on the mic, the Outcasts said they believe Boronin and Jankovic attempted to eliminate the threat of the Outcasts taking the NGW Open Collective titles from their Czars buddies and demanded to settle this in the ring, whether as part of an intergender tag match or in two separate singles matches. John Silver vs Shiro Akuma In a decent match, John Silver defeated Shiro Akuma in 13:36 by pinfall by using underhanded tactics. After winning all three of his matches in the round robin tournament, John Silver ended the show with a promo on Sebastian Koller, threatening to take the NGW Cruiserweight title off him at Reach for the Sky. NGW Open Collective titles match The Czars (Dovydas Vidmar & The Ivanoff Brothers) © vs Army of Lovers (Giovanni Bruno, Marcello Ricci & Paolo Gandalfini) Army of Lovers aren't exactly the most likeable characters on the NGW roster, but up against the dour Russian champions, their special brand of comedy swings the fans in their favour. Gandalfini starts the match as the biggest and most powerful of his team, doing a good job against a rotating cast of the Czars before Bruno gets the tag for some higly impressive and slightly creepy technical wrestling that fits his sleazy character. Although Ricci does tag in occasionally to round up things and Gandalfini has another burst of action, Bruno is the one to take a real beating and Ivan Ivanoff ends up pinning him after a low blow while the referee is distracted by Igor. Winners: The Czars The Czars make defence number 1 of their NGW Open Collective titles The Outcasts (Badass Bantom & Viper McKenna) vs The Czars (Andriy Boronin & Zofia Jankovic) This match basically showcases how Viper McKenna, despite nowdays spending less time inside the ring, can still switch effortlessly between manager and wrestler. It also really plays up the intergender aspect, with McKenna's technical style going toe to toe with Boronin's amateur wrestling background while Jankovic makes the best of her martial arts background as she fearlessly takes on the much larger Bantom. For all their apparent skill and fire, Boronin and Jankovic still have a hard time against the veteran pairing and it takes the appearance of another Czars memeber in "The Pain from the Ukraine" Karen Bilous to take down the monstrous Bantom as he's doing his wild brawling outside the ring. Bilous does a quick run-in but it's enough to tip the scales in favor of her allies and now essentially left on her own against two opponents, McKenna fights but ultimately gets hit with a K.O. Head Kick that knocks her out for the count. Winners: The Czars (Andriy Boronin & Zofia Jankovic) NGW Cruiserweight title match "The Rock and Roller" Sebastian Koller © vs John Silver First of the night's title matches and despite Koller coming out strumming the belt like he's nWo era Hulk Hogan, the visual of McKenna not being by his side after the previous match is a stark visual reminder of how he's already in a tough spot before the match even begins. Silver seems to notice just that and turns things up immediately to 11 with a dive to the outside, catching Koller by surprise before he's done with his entrance even. The match is off to an early start and Silver seems to be looking for a quick win, but Koller isn't going down that easy, especially since he's pretty big and muscular by Cruiserweight standards. It's a fast paced, exciting match that quickly becomes pretty even once Koller is past the initial surprise and despite his stamina not being up to the challenge of carrying him through nearly 14 minutes at this pace, he is still the better wrestler and manages to get a clean win over his challenger with a Hamburg Rock City. Winner: "The Rock and Roller" Sebastian Koller "The Rock and Roller" Sebastian Koller makes defence number 1 of his NGW Cruiserweight title NGW Heavyweight title match "The Alpha Male" Edward Cornell © vs Christopher Lister Something is clearly off with these two from the get go; whether it's Lister lacking the physicality to bring out Cornell's best attributes or Cornell being too much of a classic heavyweight brawler to click with Lister's high flying or technical prowess, the thing is something's holding them both back and the outcome isn't as great as it should be. Even the finish of Cornell grabbing a handful of Lister's tights to secure the pin isn't as impactful as it should be, since had this been done after a great match it should have theoretically garnered the champion more heat for depriving the fans of a good finish to a solid match and robbing Lister of the gold after a great performance. Winner: "The Alpha Male" Edward Cornell "The Alpha Male" Edward Cornell makes defence number 4 of his NGW Heavyweight title Captain Hero II vs "The Moscow Mauler" Marat Khoklov Nelson Frye's first big singles match after inheriting the Captain Hero mask from Stig Svensson, this one is no joke given his opponent. As the announcers point out, Khoklov is not just a very difficult man to hurt, let alone defeat, but even if someone can somehow beat him, the very fact of having a match against him takes a huge physical toll on any opponent, bad enough to take a few years off a man's career. That is exactly the uphill battle story these two build up for over a full fifteen minutes, swinging between brutal, dominant attacks from the Moscow Mauler to hopeful comebacks from Captain Hero II and back again until Khoklov puts his opponent in a crushing bear hug that squeezes any remaining wind out of the masked one's lungs. Deeming Captain Hero II unable to continue the match, the referee calls for the bell and declares Marat the winner via stoppage. Winner: "The Moscow Mauler" Marat Khoklov NGW Women's title match Joanne Rodriguez © vs Geena the Warrior Princess It is a rare occasion that Geena enters a match like this as the underdog and not the favourite: she's already lost to J-Ro before the latter won the title, she's had an unspectacular run so far on Proving Ground and a much criticized feud against Darkness Cat but despite all that, Geena proves everyone wrong with her performance, reminding that there's a reason she's already a Hall of Famer. Using her trademark physicality, Geena brings a potent mix of strikes, suplexes and even the occasional reckless dive to really push the defending champion. Rodriguez responds to this intensity with her own slick style and an impressive display of chain wrestling skills as she counters Geena's moves more than once and weaves her own offence into crowd-pleasing sequences. The fight goes one and both competitors reach for ever bigger and bigger moves, pushing the match beyond the 20 minute mark before J-Ro finally connects with a J-Rocker to achieve the pinfall. Winner: Joanne Rodriguez Joanne Rodriguez makes defence number 1 of her NGW Womens title J-Ro's post-match celebration is cut short when her music is cut off by an all too familiar keyboard melody... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/BURM7l6_pvg" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> "The Gothic Grappler" Fusae Etsuko makes a grand entrance and walks down to the ring. Grabbing a mic on her way in, Etsuko congratulates Rodriguez for her win and suggests they do the only match fitting for a huge event like next month's End of the World: Joanne Rodriguez, versus Fusae Etsuko, for the NGW Womens title, one last time! Ever since I signed her up and put her under a hugely successful goth gimmick, that song is what I had in mind as her entrance theme. The intro is just perfect for pro wrestling. Shout out to FINisher, thanks for helping me with embedding videos.
alpha2117
Thanks. Shout out to FINisher, thanks for helping me with embedding videos. I might have to take a look at how you have done that - Music is part of the WS_X and embedding thing like Deadlift Lolita or Miss Miranda stuff will probably help the immersion. Always loved Sisters of Mercy - Floodland is still one of the 10 best albums I've ever heard.

DarK_RaideR
Brand Adjustment Following Reach for the Sky, NGW's two brands have agreed to another talent exchange, though it is still unknown whether that was done to further balance out the two rosters or if it will be a thing that will regularly take place after each Pay Per View. For this month, "The Ninja" Melanie Flyman was chosen to rejoin her Outcasts allies in Proving Ground, while "The Barcelona Bull" Adam Martinez, who has mostly been wrestling in non-televised pre-show dark matches in NGW, will also be moving in hopes of getting more exposure on the Tuesday shows. On the opposite end, Geena the Warrior Princess is moving to NGW's already stellar Women's Division after her spectacular title match at Reach for the Sky against Joanne Rodriguez, while former Mixed Martial Artist Roy Edison will also be joining her on the same roster as his Real Deal leader and NGW Heavyweight champion, "The Alpha Male" Edward Cornell. DarK_RaideR
Back to the Future, Monday Week 1 of December 2013 NGW Back to the Future (Weekly TV show) Held on Monday, Week 1 of December 2013 Venue: The Skojpe Indoor Arena, Northern Macedonia, Europe Attendance: 4.759, Ratings: 0.71 (539.240 viewers), Shown on Continental Sports X1 Captain Hero II and Christopher Lister kick off the show by addressing their matches at Reach for the Sky when Champagne Lover interrupts, saying no one wants to hear two losers complain. Captain Hero II points out that Lover's group didn't fare any better at that show, to which Lister adds that Lover didn't even wrestle; speaking of which, when was the last time Champagne Lover had a really big match? The verbal sparring has fans come alive and the three men end the segment by agreeing to rally the troops for a 4 vs 4 match in the night's main event. Geena the Warrior Princess vs "The Pain from the Ukraine" Karen Bilous Geena's first match after leaving Proving Ground is a pretty hard hitting brawl against Ukraine's Karen Bilous, the kind that wouldn't be out of place in a joshi ring in Japan. Both women bring the physicality with neither backing down, but as soon as Geena gets a chance to hit the Amazon Plunge, it's all over till the ref can count to three. Winner: Geena the Warrior Princess After the match, Geena grabs a mic to cut another of her signature "angry promos" and announce that she has arrived, so the entire Women's division better take notice! Backstage, Edward Cornell is being interviewed about his match at Reach for the Sky as well as his upcoming clash with Marat Khoklov at End of the World when the Ivanoffs interrupt to announce that before that can happen, Cornell better find his newly arrived buddy Roy Edison because they're booked to face them next. The Real Deal (Edward Cornell & Roy Edison) vs The Ivanoff Brothers This tag team much emphasizes the storytelling aspect over straightforward wrestling, with Cornell directing traffic from the apron and sending out Edison to do all the dirty work against the rugged Russian siblings. Cornell picks his spots and blind-tags himself in only when the odds are in his favor, quickly retreating for a forced tag as soon as momentum turns against him. Left on his own, Edison essentially fights a 2 on 1 uphill battle and unsurprisingly gets hit with a Russian Roulette after Cornell takes a moment to long being standoffish about making the tag, with Ivan scoring the pin to end the match as the NGW Heavyweight champion looks on from the sidelines. Winners: The Ivanoff Brothers League of Heroes vs Army of Lovers Promised during the opening segment, the main event is a surprisingly solid four on four contest, with Army of Lovers looking like a consistent team instead of just Lover and his lackeys. It does help that the entire match lasts just a few seconds over ten minutes so no glaring weaknesses are exposed and with everyone getting some time to shine and hit their signature moves, Captain Hero II eventually nails Bruno with the Hero Attack to score the pin. Winners: League of Heroes Show Rating:
DarK_RaideR
Proving Ground, Tuesday Week 1 of December 2013 NGW Proving Ground (Weekly TV show) Held on Wednesday, Week 1 of December 2013 Venue: The Skojpe Indoor Arena, Northern Macedonia, Europe Attendance: 4.633, Ratings: 0.70 (527.490 viewers), Shown on Continental Sports X1 The episode begins with a pre-taped message from the man in charge of Proving Ground, John Silver, who announces that a new title, the NGW Openweight title, will be introduced at this month's End of the World, with one person from Proving Ground wrestling one representative of Back to the Future to crown the inaugural champion. In order to find the worthiest contender on the Proving Ground roster and given the success of last month's round robin tournament, another tournament will be held, only this time it will follow the usual single elimination format. Tournament match "The Barcelona Bull" Adam Martinez vs Ripper LeStat Now on the Proving Ground roster, Adam Martinez finally gets to have his first ever televised match, a tournament bout against LeStat who isn't afraid to play dirty and use weapons to complement his offense. Martinez has a chance to showcase his brawling ability as well as throw the occasional suplex, but his inexperience shows and LeStat manages to use it against him in order to create an opening and hit the Vlad's Impaler for the win. Winner: Ripper LeStat A video package airs next, with footage of Ryushi Ryusaki's matches between fragments of his interview about his upcoming tournament match with Konrad Mäkinen next match. The man who NGW fans might remember as "The Lone Wolf" Okami from a couple of years ago talks about that experience, taking some time off to refocus and honing his skills in EWA, where he also won the Union titles alongside Alberto Montero, before ending with a message to the fans that next week, they'll see all that in action. Double Dutch vs The Foreign LegionIn a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Double Dutch defeated The Foreign Legion in 10:07 when Frank Ven Heer defeated Pierre DuPont by pinfall with an Orange Wave. Zofia Jankovic cuts a promo next, hyping the upcoming tournament match between Andriy Boronin and "The Fresh Prince of Belarus" Sergei Kalashnov next week. Tournament match Leon Harrison vs "Super Duper" Phillip CooperIn a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Leon Harrison defeated Phillip Cooper in 9:37 by pinfall with a PRIDE Driver. With "The Rock and Roller" Sebastian Koller by her side and the NGW Cruiserweight title on his shoulder, Viper McKenna cut a promo saying Koller won't be left out of the biggest show of the year but sadly, he has no challenger for his title yet. Instead of waiting for the powers that be to find one for him, he's out to find one himself and he's chosen the greatest contender he could think of: Champagne Lover! DarK_RaideR
Thanks. NGW is a company I've built from the ground up, so 17 years of in-game progress and diary writing mean I'm pretty comfortable with the roster, booking, stories I want to tell etc.
DarK_RaideR
Back to the Future, Monday Week 2 of December 2013 NGW Back to the Future (Weekly TV show) Held on Monday, Week 2 of December 2013 Venue: Nagy Budapest Arénában, Hungary, Europe Attendance: 4.432, Ratings: 0.71 (534.490 viewers), Shown on Continental Sports X1 Not seen for over a year in NGW, Swedish manager Vita returns but this time as an interviewer. Not that Champagne Lover seems to mind much and between being flirtatious with her, he cuts a promo to accept Sebastian Koller's challenge for an NGW Cruiserweight match at End of the World, saying the belt should be around the waist of a proper representative of that weight division, that of course being "the lucha sensation" himself! "The Steppe Cowgirl" Anna Twirl vs Jeri "Air" Behr In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Jeri Behr defeated Anna Twirl in 10:43 by pinfall with a Standing Moonsault. Edward Cornell is cutting another promo about his upcoming match at End of the World against Marat Khoklov when he's interrupted again by the Czars, this time in the form of Dovydas Vidmar. The tension is broken up by the appearance of the NGW Commissioner, Sebastian Krause, who books a match on the fly: Vidmar will face Koller's ally Roy Edison, with the winner moving on to represent the brand at End of the World as a contender for the brand new Openweight title. w "The Bratva Bruiser" Dovydas Vidmar vs Roy Edison (with Edward Cornell) In a decent match, Roy Edison defeated Dovydas Vidmar in 13:38 by submission with an Arm Bar after interference from Edward Cornell. The League of Heroes take turns on the mic (except Howard, who just stands in the background looking mean) to announce that since they've all held tag team gold on various occasions and in various combinations, they are planning to challenge the Johanssons for their NGW Tag Team titles. This brings out the reigning champions and Signe Lythjohan gets on the mic to say they accept, no matter which pair will end up wrestling;the Norwegian titans will crush them anyway! "The Moscow Mauler" Marat Khoklov vs Aleksander Knyazev In a decent match, Marat Khoklov defeated Aleksander Knyazev in 10:14 by pinfall with a Russian Legend Powerbomb. DarK_RaideR
Proving Ground, Tuesday Week 2 of December 2013 NGW Proving Ground (Weekly TV show) Held on Wednesday, Week 2 of December 2013 Venue: Nagy Budapest Arénában, Hungary, Europe Attendance: 4.546, Ratings: 0.61 (459.430 viewers), Shown on Continental Sports X1 The show kicks off with the Outcasts as Viper McKenna gets on the mic to cut a promo about Koller's now-scheduled match against Champagne Lover for the NGW Cruiserweight title, then saying that Bantom, Orson and Mallory will challenge the Czars for the NGW Open Collective titles. McKenna makes sure to be extra venomous about the way Landon Mallory has yet again been mistreated by management, as he was suspended for "a minor transgression" but promises that he will be back and ready in time for End of the World! Darkness Cat vs Megumi Nakajima vs Melanie Flyman vs Zofia Jankovic In a bout that had decent wrestling but little heat, Melanie Flyman defeated Darkness Cat, Megumi Nakajima and Zofia Jankovic in 9:57 when Melanie Flyman defeated Darkness Cat by pinfall with a Ninjitsu Strike. Double Dutch cut a promo next, saying they also want a shot at the NGW Tag Team titles when John Silver walks in to announce that next week, they will be facing him and Shiro Akuma in a tag match. Double Dutch laugh at the mention, saying Akuma is no team player and this will be too easy, but accept, if nothing else out of sheer curiosity. Tournament match "Stone Cold Killer" Konrad Mäkinen vs Ryushi Ryusaki In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and little heat, Konrad Mäkinen defeated Ryushi Ryusaki in 9:33 by submission with a Swedish Grapevine. Vita is here again, this time interviewing Ripper LeStat about his semifinals match against Leon Harrison next week. LeStat looks confident, saying he'll make Harrison bleed and then lose. Tournament match Andriy Boronin vs "The Fresh Prince of Belarus" Sergei Kalashnov In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Andriy Boronin defeated Sergei Kalashnov in 10:08 by stoppage when Sergei Kalashnov was injured and could not continue.
