Effingham Heights: A Game of Homes Mafia Game Thread

Thank you. I got super lucky to draw godfather again because Derek had me investigated Night One. I should've been a quick easy lynch.

I knew it one phase too late. I caught on and had 3 of you at that moment. DJ and Leion were too quiet and you were playing the same. If I had a different role, I could have done more. Not having a vote sucks. I tried to get someone to waste a kill on me by acting like the other scum.

You and MoT both had it figured out. We thought you two might be Scarpa and trying to point out the other team to get a breather.

Ahh, that makes quite a bit of sense. This was my thoughts.

Scarpa: Fella Libby, TBP (gone now)

Realty: Lukess, MoT, Leion

Memory of Talon

You are Dr. Shelly Jewel, Self Aligned Hypnotherapist.

Everyone in this subdivision sucks; they are all a bunch of wealthy and morally corrupt narcissists. You’ve finally had enough and this current situation is the perfect opportunity to make a positive impact in the neighborhood.

Each night you may select one target to hypnotize and one target for them to kill; the two targets may be the same person. The person you hypnotize will not be able to complete their action. Alternatively, you may select one target to protect you at night, costing them their lives if attacked.

You win when if you are the last player standing.

Mistakenly sent MoT the wrong version of the role at first, but apologized and corrected it.

Tha Black Phenom

You are Scott Beaufort, East Bay Estates Aligned Marketing Consultant.

Things sure have gotten out of hand here, which is too bad because it really is a nice neighborhood. All it really needs is a rebranding, and you’re just the person to do it.

On odd nights you may select three players to do market research on. You will be notified if any of the three are amenable to joining your cause, but will not be told specifically who is or is not. On even nights you may select one target to try and convince to join your rebranding. You will be able to speak to your recruits in your official Discord server. If investigated you will show as Effingham Heights aligned, unless your group has been revealed at any point in the game. You win when you outnumber all remaining players.

He was very unlucky. The game losing so many players on the first night limited his recruiting ability. That said, he would have recruited on N2 but was blocked by MoT.

Getting someone to try and kill me would also give me a presence in the writeup so I could save myself. Was that me in N1 btw?

Makes sense. DJ was convinced you were BP or PGO so we were paranoid to even look at you the wrong way. :p

LOL. The reason I was so sure about Zergon when I was on the council was because of the fact that I doubted there would be two roles that couldn't vote in a game where roles were cut out. I was so lucky my vote counted that phase.

After the first night, I knew there were problems. Killed so many of us that quick like, holy hell how can the Town back up from that? I felt like every corner there was sharks every corner.

Yeah, N1 was crazy! I've never seen six deaths in one night before. And we had pretty much nothing to do with that, we only murdered Ray and were busted immediately on it.

I don't know. I never killed anyone. I was saving people quite a bit. I think I saved Eliphas/Michgs like three times in a row... That damn TSS kept trying to kill him.

Surprised you and Derek were connected. Derek was the fourth scum in my mind because of that.

I'm absolutely sure he wasn't 100% confident in me at any time... maybe when I disagreed so hard with the Destiny thing and he finally seen it as well... but I had to really act as though I was town the whole time. He was pushing me for information on what I thought, who was scum, etc.

I mean, I was giving my real viewpoints for the most part if I wasn't scum, what I would think in the thread. I still don't believe Destiny was a lie detector. But it helped my claim more to say he was, then that he wasn't. It was very scummy of him, his questioning. I would have reacted the same way no matter who he asked. "Was your target killed?" in a night that many died... it's a good possibility. However, if they weren't, a townie would be happy to say "No", and that leaves that townie open to being able to be targeted, since their ability isn't passive stayin' home (BP, PGO).
