The World Wrestling Federation in 1997 is in a very interesting place. They are coming off of one of the biggest events in WWF history, Wrestlemania 13, where Owen Hart finally claimed his spot at the top of the WWF with his big WWF World Heavyweight Championship victory over his brother Bret Hart. The show also saw the debut of a former WCW icon in the form of Sting, who attacked The Undertaker after his victory over Shawn Michaels. WWF weren't done with the excitement though, as a brand split was on the horizon, with RAW and the new show Smackdown drafting two separate rosters the night after Wrestlemania! With all of this going on, things couldn't get any crazier could they?

Since then, I've been bouncing around dynasty ideas and nothing really seemed to click, so I decided to go back to the well for my next one, WWF: Turning The Tide is back with a new name! Joining me on this journey is Rateddc, who did write a sequel to Turning The Tide, but that's non-cannonical to this one. Think of it as an alternate universe depiction of where the brand split could have gone. I'll be writing most of the stuff here, except for the cruiserweights, which is Rateddc's domain.
