With the Lloyd ending his NOTBPW diary and Historian distracted with our joint diaries, it somehow seems possible I could survive in that category Real World 1. Stephanie - The Princess Diaries, by alpha 2117 As a general rule, I don't bother with RW diaries, so nominating one is a rare move for me. Alpha won me over with the W_SX diary and while it's on hiatus, this is the best alternative. 2. AWA 1989: A Financial Savior Is (Badly) Needed, by piperrulz It reads a lot like a book or documentary and its subject is very interesting. The matches, promos and storylines aren't really it's strong point, but the historic and backstage segments are solid gold. CVerse 1. The Oddworld, by Bigelow Cartwheel Almost made this an honorary mention as it put out just one narrative and one show during November, but it's just too good to not nominate 2. NYCW The Ultimate Throwback, by Charasmatic Enigma Not a big fan of NYCW and haven't been keeping up with this as much as I'd like, but still a really solid diary that deserves the nomination. 3. White Canvas Grappling [C-Verse], by CGN91 This one was off to a hot start, but has since been flying a bit below the radar, perhaps because it's written out a lot like an MMA diary. Legendary 1. FCW A Playboy in Puerto Rico, by Historian Never been a fan of FCW, but Historian's booking, writing and storytelling just might sell this promotion to me. It's rough to follow The Climb, but kudos to the man for not resting on his laurels. 2. NOTBPW A Game of Stones...and DeColts, by The Lloyd A consistently awesome diary that managed to get me interested in the Canadian scene and set a standard all diaries should aspire to reach. Sad to see this go, so here's one last nomination for it. Rookie 1. The Heart of a Lion (BCG 2010 R2G), by Chisoku Had a great start trying to run SAISHO as a touring company before life caught up. Now back with my favourite Japanese CVerse company and an interesting setup. Showcase 1. Leopard King's farewell party, in the Oddworld by Bigelow Cartwheel What can I say, Silas Young has been a delightful scumbag promoter but coupled with the man that is Leopard King, we got some great stuff out of it. 2. Jason Jordan in W_SX Welcome to the Pleasuredome, by alpha2117 Smarky promos, 4th wall breaks, meta comments and a subverted-yet-happening Kurt Angle involvement. Very active diary which I lovr</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Match</strong></p><p> <strong>Capitao Brasil Jr vs Art Reed @NYCW Rush - NYCW: The Ultimate Throwback (Charismatic Enigma)</strong> - I'm a huge fan of both of these guys and love the heel antics of Reed in this one.</p><p> <strong>Gino Montero vs Luis Montero Jr - A Story of Stones & DeColts (The Lloyd):</strong> The build up to this made it a must see match, and I wasn't disappointed.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>C-Verse</strong></p><p> <strong>NYCW: The Ultimate Throwback (Charismatic Enigma)</strong> - Super fun read from a good small company</p><p> <strong>White Canvas Grappling (CGN91)</strong> - Puro is my weakspot, and I've been following this one since it started. Glad to see it's back and I think it's a great read for anyone who appreciates straight up Puroresu.</p><p> <strong>NGW Change the CVerse (DarK_RaideR)</strong> - CV97 start brought into the current age, holy hell what a star studded roster and a fun read. Another one I've been reading since it came out and I'm glad to see it's still around and going strong</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Showcase</strong></p><p> <strong>Sibling Rivalry - A Story of Stones and DeColts (The Lloyd)</strong> - It's been going on for far longer than one month, but the amazing build of the Sibling War between Gino and Luis Montero has just been fantastic to follow. So much of the stuff in this diary could be here, but that's one of my favourite storylines of the entire thing.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Legend</strong></p><p> <strong>NOTBPW: A Story of Stones and DeColts (The Lloyd)</strong> - Would they take away my Canadian citizenship if I didn't nominate this? Not sure, but I can say that this was one of the diaries that got me into not only reading and writing TEW diaries, but also into playting more in Canadian feds and making me want to actually write a Canadian fed (it'll happen one day, the Puro runs too deep in me though! Maybe CSS)</p><p> <strong>SCCW: Reborn (Historian & DarK_RaideR)</strong> I love SCCW, they remind me of SMW, and bringing them back with two talented writers and bookers at the helm for that NWA nostalgia feel that Mr Corgan has recently given me makes me very excited for the future of this company. Put in legend due to the writers~</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Event</strong></p><p> <strong>Summer Smash 2018 - A Story of Stones and DeColts (The Lloyd)</strong> - I'm so sad that there is no write up for the main event for this event, because Hernandez is my absolute favourite canadian wrestler and I can pretty much guarantee I'd have nominated that for match of the month, but this event is just a beautifully booked and written swan song for this diary. The hype for the arrival of Los Monteros was when I was caught up with this diary and read the shows as they were posted.
