I'm not normally into the C-Verse diaries, however this one looks very cool, I love the look of the championship belts, faction logos and the worker pictures, they are beautiful. I'll be keeping a close eye on this diary and will be rooting for 36th Chamber as they have an awesome logo and look like some stealthy ninjas straight out of a Tony Jaa movie.

Loved the Blazing Sword Of The Immortals Opening Press Conference. NEO better watch their backs, Eisaku Hoshino is coming for them.

I love your renders.

Any chance you will be releasing what you have done with Mexico in the Rockverse before tew 2020 comes out?

Maybe...

So here is the low down on the Rockverse:

All the data is on my lenovo yoga that is like the mother of all laptops to do graphics work and rendering etc on. That's the laptop I did most of my renders on, it has the nvidia graphics card, a crap load of ram etc. Well many months ago my crazy dog knocked it off my desk and the hinge broke off. The problem is the hinge is secured to the screen so the screen cracked into a billion pieces. Unfortunately the hinge part was backordered forever so I've been without that computer for almost a year. The part finally came in and now I am just waiting for him to repair the laptop. Then I can finally get back to work on the RV. So if I get it back soon I should be able to finish Mexico and maybe a couple other regions before 20 releases.

TL/DR = laptop with RV daya f&*ked up by dog, part backordered, should be fixed soon

The two tournaments look stacked! Right now I've got Koshiro Ino winning the Heavyweight Tournament and who are the Master Killers?!?!

That's a good horse to ride in the tourney. The Master Killers are Japanese Phoenix and Stealth Z. Just another play on the whole Wu-Tang inspired 36th Chamber thing. Tobei Sugimura will added golden bracers to his ring gear and will now be known as Tobei "Golden Arms" Sugimura.

Looking forward to see how this unfolds.

Soon it shall begin...

Attendance: 5,000 Super No Vacancy

Preshow:

Some matches happened that mean nothing

Main Show:

W4SrwB8.png

Bruce The Giant welcomes the fans to the show tonight! Tonight we make history!

___________________________________________________________________

8ZTqjRg.png

Hanari & Miyamoto and The Natty Dreads get into shoving contest after the match with both teams wanting to go into the Jr Tag Tournament with some momentum

___________________________________________________________________

Blazing Junior Tag Team Tournament Round 1:

bFCmnXm.png

The Master Killers get the better of The American Cobras in this first round match. The Cobras did a fine job in their first match in Japan. It will take the audience sometime to get behind the relatively unknown team from the states.

___________________________________________________________________

qKIDwjU.png

The audience is shown footage from earlier where Eisaku Hoshino was jumped from behind in the parking lot by NEO. Senmatsu and HEAT run out to even the odds and all six men brawl a bit before being seperated.

Bruce The Giant then makes an announcement backstage that tonight’s main event will see all six men compete in a tag match!

_______________________________________________________________

After the match Shikitei points at Sayuki and has some words, clearly not happy with losing.

Blazing World Heavyweight Tournament Round 1:

Wp4ksp6.png

After a hard fought win Greg Gauge extends his hand to Ishinomori as a show of respect but gets chokeslammed instead as an angry Ishinomori storms to the back.

_____________________________________________________________

Z7gEVm7.png

Both teams have to be seperated after the match by their attendants. Clearly these four men are carrying the rivalry between their former employers over to Blazing Sword.

_____________________________________________________________

L47Onyk.png

As soon as the four men have been separated a strange graphic pops onto the jumbotron at the entrance way. All four men look puzzled.

_____________________________________________________________

cshvnBk.png

All six men put out maximum effort in this contest wanting to pick up a win to showcase their skill. Mizoguchi, Edison and Kato looking to go into the heavyweight tournament with a win and the rest looking to impress the booking committee hoping to compete for several of the vacant titles. Kato and company get the win as Kato ends up getting put to sleep. Mizoguchi looked very good in the loss.

Blazing World Heavyweight Tournament Round 1:

jj5ruMK.png

Miyazaki gets the win over the younger Narahashi. Narahashi put on a decent showing in the loss and after the match Miyazaki and Narahshi shake hands as a show of respect.

_____________________________________________________________

SFAe4Vj.png

QBimQ1e.png

The updated tournament brackets are displayed on the jumbotron

_____________________________________________________________

Z9vTEPc.png

Who could it be !?!?!?!

_____________________________________________________________

OBIddMg.png

To the delight of the fans the main event was the best match of the night! Hoshino and company almost pulled out the win but Tairi pulled Senmatsu out of the ring while Masuno speared Hoshino into the guard rail allowing Ino to pin Heat after a Kobra’s Bite. NEO seems to be completely okay with winning by any means necessary even by using tactics that are less than honorable.

_____________________________________________________________

WMKaFtG.png

The show closes with NEO celebrating their victory and mocking Hoshino as they exit the ring and make their way to the back.

Hated to hear about the laptop - WS_X is still locked away on my old beast grrrrr. Looking forward to more Rockverse when it does happen.

I'm not familiar with the C-Verse that much (I know Gauge is good) but I loved the storytelling and the presentation - it was superb. Big thumbs up.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show, can't wait for the next one. Are you going to be posting cards for us to predict on or will it just be show to show? Keep up the great work.

Thanks, glad you liked the first show. I think I will post a pick'em for the big events but keep the weekly touring shows to a shorter presentation. I do plan on doing a bigger televised event to kick off every tour like above so I'll post a pick'em for those in the future.

If what you say is true... the Shaolin and the Wu Tang could be DANGEROUS! :D

Great first show and real sad to hear about the RV data...

Thanks, and not to worry about the RV data. I should be getting my laptop back soon so it's not lost forever.

Thanks, glad you liked it. Basically when it comes to CV Japan, all the guys in the puro diaries that win a lot are the ones you should push. Except for Blast Ikoma, he is terrible and should never win anything.

So glad Neo won. Loving this diary, especially since youre using Bruce. Curious who the American Nightmare is. Every time i hear that it reminds me of codys god awful neck tattoo lol.

Bruce doesn't get used enough, the man is money in angles. I love NEO, they are my Japanese version of the NWO basically. They are going to cheat and triple team people and basically heel it up to the point where the crowd despises them.

Haha, me too.

As for The American Nightmare...

I'll never tell but this version is neck tattoo free.

So this just came to me since a couple people have asked about The American Nightmare. I think I'll run a contest to see if anyone can correctly guess who it is.

So if anyone wants to guess who The American Nightmare is send me a DM so the reveal doesn't get spoiled. Whoever guesses correctly gets to pick the very first Blazing National Openweight Champion.

1 guess per person and if multiple people guess correctly whoever was first will win the tiebreaker.

*I will accept guesses up until 24 hours after I post the pick'em for Blazing Triumph (Feb - Saturday, Week 4)

What the H E L L was he thinking? You would think at this point he would have realised that his whole schtick is reliant on looking professional - he's never going to be a Hard man so why the heck would you compromise your gimmick that way?

Thats what i was thinking aswell. Its almost as if hes so high on life and the gimmick he just went with it. I almost feel like it wouldve worked on the back of his neck, forearm, or anywhere but the neck side. Especially since its the only neck tatto he has and its just placed so awkwardly. Super random and weird.

The work itself is actually good - the positioning and the concept is what's off. It would be perfectly acceptable on a bicep.

Let's just all agree that Cody has really poor judgement when it comes to tattoos. I mean, he got "Dream" on his chest while being a heel and calling himself The American Nightmare, then he stuck with the nickname and got this kind of tat while being a babyface. Like, I'm really confused. And it was genuinely distracting during the match. Same way this discussion is hijacking a thread that's otherwise about a Japanese CVerse company :D:rolleyes::cool:

As somone that has several tattoos I feel bad for making this comment but I can cover all of mine with pants and a short sleeve shirt so here it goes:

You know the meaning behind every neck tattoo ever?

Don't hire me...

Zing!

Now back to the regularly scheduled diary discussion.
