Tomato Can
Watching Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling go off the air with a defeated Magnum TA laying flat out in the ring! Nikita Koloff had just become the new US Champion! How heart wrenching it was to see OUR US Title be held by that horrible "Russian". Oh I miss the days when I loved wrestling from that innocent point of view. That is why I love this game! I get to re live those wonderful days! The Lloyd
<p>Gahh so many!! This is a great thread, regardless of the prize.</p><p> </p><p> My favourite PPV is the 2000 Royal Rumble. Two of the best matches of my limited memory: Hardys/Dudleys Table match... Triple H/Cactus Jack Street Fight... You also had Jericho/Holly/Chyna Triple Threat, which was so well booked and delivered... The Rock won the Rumble, which was great even though Rikishi eliminated Too Cool!!!</p><p> </p><p> But the moment of the night, was the debut of Tazz!! (who choked the undefeated Kurt Angle out in 3 minutes)</p><p> </p><p> (as much as I hate to admit this) I had no idea who Tazz was at that point. It's the exact moment I began to learn about ECW and everything they were doing. I had access to Channel 4 <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> haha!! I thought Tazz was a total badass!! His career could have been so much better. But what a pop when he came out!!</p>
redhilleagle
When Ric Flair announced himself and Vince's "Partner". I'd only just got back into wrestling at that point, mainly to see what they'd do with the WCW brand (I was hoping they'd keep it going as a brand, build it up and some some reputation, then do a "Proper" invasion angle). JJArocho
<p>The trilogy of matches between Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat in 1989 for the NWA World's Heavyweight Title would have to be it for me.</p><p> </p><p> Psssst, I'm a major lurker too. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
AceCodey
Damn, that's a tough question. I'm gonna go with Bryan's triumph at WrestleMania 30. Such a wonderful moment, made all the better by how low my (and I expect many people's) expectations were going into WrestleMania season that year. One_
<p>As a big ECW fan who was too young to watch when the company actually existed, I would go with the RVD vs Cena match at One Night Stand 2006. Thae passion within that crowd was incredible.</p><p> </p><p> And thanks for doing this, great gesture!</p>
Blackman
<p>The segment with Hogan and Rock on the RAW after WM18 had the Canada crowd buzzing, and it always stuck in my head as to how wrestling can move people. </p><p> </p><p> <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6fRirBNFJ0" rel="external nofollow">Here's the link</a> for those that want to relive it.</p><p> </p><p> It's crazy how everyone picked a different moment. Jomosensual
I'd go with Bryan/Cena and the fallout from there. Even though it wasn't on purpose for a chunk of it, seeing that kind of support go behind one of the best to ever do it was fantastic
brat99
Gonna have to go with Goldberg beating Hogan on Nitro since I was there that night.
Croquemitaine
I can't definitively state my favourite moment because I'd have to think about it for a while, weighting moments from the different eras. So here's a moment that, while not necessarily my favourite, certainly caused me to lose my mind with happiness and excitement: The first night of the invasion, when all the ECW guys came out and Heyman cut that amazing promo. I wasn't even a big ECW guy and I still freaked out and couldn't believe what an awesome story this was going to be. Of course, the moment (and storyline) was ruined forever less than two hours later, but I still remember the feeling I had half-way through that episode of RAW. Bad News Fryer
Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 31. I had really low expectations of the match and couldn't see a good outcome, yet the match was great and Seth Rollins cashing in was the last great Mania ending. Supermercado
Flair winning the Rumble. That was the greatest moment of my life to age 10. We didn't get WCW in Australia so I had been reading about him in the magazines and was a huge fan.
Derek B
I don't care about winning anything, I just want to join in. For me the greatest moment was the moment that I realised that Shawn Michaels was returning to wrestling after his back injury and other issues. I had only really seen him from his second Royal Rumble win onwards, so at the peak of his in ring skill and without the knowledge of how much of an asshole he'd been. He'd become my favourite wrestler in that time and even though I had fallen in love with so many other stars, his return was mindblowing to me beyond anything anyone else had done to that point. I don't think I've ever been so excited for anything in wrestling before or since, it was amazing.

Bestia Negra
Vince McMahon revealing himself as the Higher Power of the Corporate Ministry causing Linda to resign as CEO and introducing Stone Cold as the new CEO was one of the very best segments during the Attitude Era imo. franticloser
My favorite moment of pro wrestling history? Wow that is hard I've been a fan since I was like four in the early nineties and have gone on to look far into the history of the business. So hmm my personal favorite moment? When Sting held up the Sting vs Hogan sign when JJ Dillion asked him what he wanted. I have always been a huge Sting fan and as a ten year old that match after a year of build up was a major mark out moment. Yes the follow through wasn't the best but that moment still gives me goosebumps.
WynterWarm12
What a kind thing to do Thanks for even thinking of us. I hope you are rewarded tenfold in the future. I was a kid during the apex of wrestling. So I only have vague memories of popular stars and a few key moments. I took a hiatus in the early 2000s and honestly thought I would end up permanently staying away. It'd be 2013 when wrestling grabs me again and quickly becomes a highlight of my week. And I can thank one talent for that: Daniel Bryan. I may be cheating here a bit and it's fine if my post doesn't count. But watching Bryan's rise and journey to WrestleMania 30 was a complete pleasure. That run was immensely frustrating, exciting and satisfying. I knew nothing of Bryan back then. Majority of the roster were new to me. But I was quickly taken by him and NEEDED to see him make it to the top lol He represents the door back to loving wrestling again and a time period I was at peak fandom. So yea, Bryan's rise holds a special place His title win at Wrestlemania 30 is my favorite moment ever.

LoganRodzen
RVD vs. Cena at One Night Stand in 2006. That banner hanging from the rafters "IF CENA WINS WE RIOT". The minute I saw that, I knew it was going to be one of the coolest matches I had ever seen because of that crowd. And I legitimately believe if Cena had won, he wouldn't have made it out of that building alive. I have so many wrestling favorites but that one match with that crowd is one of those ultimate "holy shit" moments for me. The crowd kept throwing his shirt back. It was priceless.
