Unless Questlove has changed them, they are the same popularity in Ontario in Canada & the South East in USA. The rest of Canada and USA popularity are also the same (although slightly less than Ontario & South East).</p>

So, I didn't get absolutely everything done that I wanted to... but I'm exhausted, desperate for a break and I promised that I'd release today, so you guys will have to make do with it being *almost* done. There's a to-do list in the changes text file and on the editor whiteboard for convenience so it'll give you an idea of what's missing.

 

I wrote this in the changes text file but I'll put it here as well because it's significant: most internet subscription services such as Pivotshare, Netflix, IWTV have been removed as in their current state they completely throw off any semblance of balance in the game world and cause ridiculous popularity gains. If you want to import them back in you can do so from the previous update but I strongly recommend against it.

 

There are some missing pics that will be fixed when the SAMPP update gets released (EDIT: I'm tired and didn't realize that already happened, so ignore this) and some others that I'll be posting in the next few days, but it's nothing major.

Just a few things that need to be changed/added for the WWE

 

Cal Bloom, Daniel Vidot and Simone Johnson all need to be added to NXT

Kurt Angle is still appearing on WWE TV

Austin Theory, Lana, MVP, Nia Jax, Shayna Bayszler, Brendon Vink and Shane Thorne should all be added to RAW

Drew Gulak, Jimmy and Jey Uso, Naomi should all be added to Smackdown

Apollo Crews moved to Raw

AJ Styles moved to Smackdown

 

This is all I have found when I start up the game, otherwise it seems perfect! Thanks for all of the effort

Quick Question -- are the workers supposed to all be set to Renegerate without picture? I'm not super familiar with how databases work but wouldn't this make them come back upon dying? I ask because I'm pretty sure KTB's DB is set to No.

Looks great so far. Just one minor thing: I started a test-save with NJPW and noticed Hiromu Takahashi is set as my #4 "Franchise Player" (in the creative department), thus indicating he's the #4 guy in all of NJPW. While Takahashi is a great Junior Heavyweight, that seems to be a bit overrated. He isn't really a main-eventer (yet), so he shouldn't be listed ahead of guys like Minoru Suzuki, Jay White or Ibushi. To solve this, I'd recommend decreasing Takahashi's popularity in Japan (maybe globally?) by around 6, setting him from 71 pop (Japan) to around 65.

 

Gronk still has the WWE 24/7 Title, maybe we should just vacate the title, since it hasn't been defended since Wrestlemania (early April)???

-Added Heavy drinker to both Jimmy & Jey Uso

-Moved AJ Styles over to Smackdown

-Added Dani Jordyn w/ handshake to AEW & NWA

-Removed Gronk from 24/7 title & wrestling since he's headed back to NFL

This debate comes up a bunch about who are or aren't the top guys in New Japan, but Takahashi is one of the biggest merch movers in the company so from a business perspective I think he's definitely a Major Star, plus he's by far the most over Junior Heavyweight

Also I want to commend Questlove on doing some amazing work getting things working and stuff the mod looks great and I am looking forward to in a few weeks time when things are tweaked a bit and the tiny broadcasters are put back in.

 

A couple of very minor things about Stardom: American Dream in the Big Apple is set to be a historic event which makes it by far the most important event on the Stardom calendar which feels a bit off. It was a big step for Stardom for sure but I don't remember seeing any plans for one to occur at any point this year.

 

One other small thing is that Generic merchandising feels a bit low for Stardom considering how much of the company's business model revolves around having merchandise of many of the roster on sale at all times.

'Tis level 4, just a few things I picked up after starting a save game with them! I do agree with the point about American Dream but there doesn't seem to have been any official attendance numbers released and apparently the company were looking to hold next year's anniversary show somewhere bigger than Korakuen, so I think maybe a small boost for Anniversary and a downgrade for American Dream might be what I go for in my own save.

People requested that it be that way back in 2017. Re-generates without a picture on TEW 2016 meant a new worker would be created using that worker as a template (IIRC). I'd assume it is the same for TEW 2020.

 

Nice work Questlove, I've had a quick game but think I may have to wait until the weekend to get a proper game going as I'm one of those lucky people who can still work during this lockdown.
