I think it has a distinctive look without needing any gimmicks. But it's a little dated at this point if I'm going to use it for a major part of my company. I figured I'd drop them here for others to use. First, a couple of recolors of the Masked Patriot render by Mammoth. I use the black mask for his heel run Secondly, I used AI to enhance Robert Roop's render and make it look more realistic, and I also made a bearded alt. Also, for what it's worth, if you did an expansion of unsigned refs chances are they wouldn't do anything for a year or two (if that) then just be retired by the game so probably wouldn't be worth the effort.
