1. Moving segments up and down with the arrows is frustrating.

2. Storyline History only shows first five or so segments in the storyline, at the very least should be the latest ones, it's REALLY hard to track what you last booked for a storyline in its current format. Ideally there'd be a scrollbar so you can see all of the segments for the storyline, which brings me to my next point...

issues

So far its going okay, long time player, (since EWR). My issues so far, a few runtime crashes at random moments. Agree with needing to use arrow keys to scroll through lists. but my real main issues... Why cant we set/have custom resolutions, its 2020 why cant I play full screen on my 1080p laptop rather than having it run windowed. Am I missing something. Also would prefer words rather than Icons for the left side menu. I guess that can be fixed with custom skins. Lastly can we brighten up the UI with more lighter, and neutral colours, keep the blue but maybe match it with a grey, or green. perhaps a colour scheme more along the lines of football manager. As for game play elements, I would ask if we could put in a potential rating for workers, so we have a better indicator if they will develop into a successful worker. Also not sure if intentional but having a range rating for a wrestler even after being employed. eg when I employ a wrestler and their brawling is say 45 - 70 instead of just showing the actual rating. if this is intentional how do I find out the exact rating of an attribute? So far Ive had 3 playthroughs of the beta, enjoying it for the most part. pretty similar to TEW 2016, was hoping for more of an evolution considering the game was rebuilt from the ground up.

To find their exact attribute turn off scouting and pro mode in preferences on option screen.

As a long time Football Manager player, the change from grades to numbers isn't as bothersome for me as it seemingly is for some. However the gap between skill and attribute itself is quite annoying. Seems like wasted space until you realise the information 'behind' it needs the space. If only there was a way to edit the attributes colours to something more appealing. I agree with the red/yellow/green system but its hardly game breaking. Just takes a while to get used to I suppose.

As far as the UI is concerned, realising the limitations, I still find there to be too many hidden clickable areas and too many clicks in general in some areas. While a lot has been streamlined (The booking screen, specifically). Obviously a tabbed system would work so much better but that's from playing Football Managers for years and years. There's limitations here and given the team Adam has behind him there's proper studios who make far more irritating and badly designed UI's.

UI aside, I'm thoroughly enjoying TEW20 thus far, knowing full well any glitches, errors and other things will be improved or ironed out as we get closer to the new release date.

One thing that does irk me and it's absolutely pedantic I know, but the stables feature is great especially being able to use dynamic backgrounds and 'renders'. I don't quite understand why .gif files work but .png doesn't. Probably limitations but when attempting to make them myself that horrible white outline kills the look of it. I can change the colour but if it was .png that wouldn't be an issue.

Purely aesthetic but can't say it isn't annoying. Again, very minor issue.

Overall I think I speak for most people when I say I can't wait for the full release and can't pretend that I had hoped to be playing it fully right now, it'll be worth the wait though.

Sorry I thought I should reiterate, I don't find this an issue but it's just taking me a while to used used to. There is a difference between the two so I thought I should clarify! I, for whatever reason, just seem to associate colour coded grades with brain dopamine receptors and the numbers just require a little more effort to force the same effect. I also prefer reading horizontally across rather than a vertical list so the removal of the skill page is a bit of a bummer. Easy things to get over though! :p

I also have problems reading numbers like 54 - 67 and 45 - 51 when they are so close together. C - B+ and F+ - E or a bigger font with separated categories like in-ring and gimmick skills having a one-line gap (perhaps resizeable within the stat grid like an excel sheet is?) would help me out a lot. So many double digit numbers squished together is a dyslexic nightmare..

EDIT: I also really miss the big red run show button. Something about running shows now feels super underwhelming haha, even incidents are easier to miss now.

There's some nice looking graphics/logos scattered through the game in specific areas, it'd be nice to have specifically designed buttons for a few things. Obviously there's still some bad ones like angles and products but from someone who exclusively uses set products and the freestyle writer who also believes those problems will be fixed soon, my irks are all with the graphic and buttons. For a game revolved around a setting as eccentric as the C-Verse, it's looking a little to much like a spreadsheet over a professional wrestling game. I always felt like all the TEW graphics gave it a 'wrestling paordy' feel, complimenting the quirkiness of Adams' alternative wrestling vision. Obviously it needs to be a balance but right now I feel like I'm playing a sports game without the sport.</p><p> </p><p> Even WMMA had the Big Strike! and Knockdown! to add flare to the events. Charm like that is missing a little bit.</p>

As a long time Football Manager player,

You've made me realise that I should probably preface everything I say like this. I'm pretty sure that I've played enough Football Manager, that my entire understanding of the world is through that lens.

Hmm...this cake is delicious, but as a Football Manager player, it's not as good as the ability to create a manic high pressing system in a few clicks.

As a Football Manager player, I can safely say you haven't played enough if you don't do that already haha

<p>Okay, I've been thinking about the whole Product thing for a while now, and I think I've managed to articulate my feelings on it. So here goes.</p><p> </p><p>

This is a sandbox, so you should be able to set your company's product however you like. However, it is also a simulation, so setting your product to be Sexy Naked Barbed-Wire Deathmatches should result in a quick descent into bankruptcy and game over.</p><p> </p><p>

Or in other words: Not all products are going to be viable because there's no (or not a big enough) audience for them. Audiences want certain things, and doing things like "It's WWE but with the comedy slider moved down" isn't going to really distinguish them much -- it's still Sports Entertainment. The pre-made products cover everything viable, and some that -might- be viable, given the audience of the world. Anything else won't work. </p><p> </p><p>

So as much as a Hyper-Realistic Lucha Comedy company sounds interesting, in practice it's such an unworkable product that it just doesn't exist. And if it was allowed to exist, we'd have countless threads of "Why doesn't my product get anyone coming to events/watching shows/go bankrupt so fast?"</p><p> </p><p>

Sometimes, sandboxes need limits.</p>
