TCW Discussion Thread

So I was wondering if anyone had ideas for some face stables?

I'm really into the idea of TCW going all-in on stable warfare so I have some.

Club 77: Danny Fonzarelli, All Might (A renamed Mighty Meaty), T-Bone Bright, and if you want to sign him Fro Sure

Pointbreak: Bart Biggins, Elliot Thomas, and Nicky Gilbert as a new signing / eventual betrayal towards better things but hey you do you.

Aces Wild: Aaron Andrews, Devine Fortune, One Man Army Dazzling Dave Diamond. Your basic Anti-Syndicate.

And while technically a Heel stable I like the idea of Troy Tornado finding out Painful Procedure was "big in Japan" and taking Yuri in as an on-screen protege. You could then pair them up with Joshua Taylor to continue the Japan association or have them be the annoying hanger-ons to Freddy Huggins and Matt Hocking

I go for "unnamed" stables. Not official but associations. For me, Benson, Foxx and Fonz are easy going vets would are friends. So they're seen together backstage. if one is in trouble, they'll help out. They'll even give tips to some of the kids (Thomas, Frankie-Boy from Going Coastal).

This is not a stable but Taylor's partner if he's in a tag match is Marc Speed. If Bach is in a tag match, T-Bone is the guy I've been pairing him up with. That's the type of stuff I go for.

<p>Another thing I'm finding out as I'm bidding for Lauren Easter and Alicia Strong respectfully. Depending on the popularity of the star, he'll let you throw some money at people. With Easter, the offer CWA is giving her is 3 years, $27, 600 per month, 30% merch cut. I can beat that but his max for me is $16,000, 10% merch, 20% bonus. Which sucks because I'm cool with giving her 20% merch. May not get her but it's reasonable.</p><p> </p><p>

Alicia, on the other end, has no problem with me throwing $74,000 per month and creative control (I'm not giving that to her but I did it to see if he would object- he did not). This gives me some hope when some of my big stars are up on their contract, he's willing to let you spend to keep them.</p>

Say tension starts when he wants to do something and Peak won't allow it, or he gets reprimanded for going too far on something.</p>

Anyone know why when it comes to March TCW never gets its graduates at start? I sww 21CW get theirs but me as TCW never gets them.

21CW grads are already programmed into the database. TCW's are random gens from the beginning, and this year random gens aren't restricted to the first of the month. The TCW grads will come in March, just on a random date in the month.

This is random but I figured I would share Marina Del Ray's popularity growth after finishing this month. I was flooded by the March to April growth.

Not just her. From January to April I've gotten Laura Ann Huggins from a 58 to a 67. Vita has only gone from 62 to 63 but moral of the story is female managers, with good SQ can succeed in TCW.

Im curious what are some of your guys thoughts on The Syndicate being rather old outside of Flynn and Hawkins?

Im at the end of March almost and I kicked out Flynn and replaced him with Killer Shark who in early Jan was kicked out of the Sinner Society after losing the title and repackaged as Axel Reigns(my usual name I make him). So now with some acual muscle I have been debating on having Eddie and Nate replaced by a younger tag team(Ash Cambell and Nelson Callum?) to help give some youth to this team and use Hawkins and Doc to create 3 new stars instead of keeping around some old or untalented guys.

Also I replaced Killer Shark with Hells Bouncer in the Sinner Society(better fit in general and put him with Titan)

<p>I LOVE Doc. Dude is constantly giving me matches in the 70-80s and along with the in ring, his promo and charisma are in the 70s too. He was highly coveted too when his contract came up. SWF, UPSW AND 21CW wanted him, but I was able to keep him. He's been great and I'm starting to wonder should I capitalize on how good he's been and push him as a legit star? So far, I've pushed him as a firm second tier guy, but if he keeps this up, who knows.</p><p> </p><p>

Far as the others goes. I like Flynn and think he could probably become pretty good. Like his SQ and his entertainment skills aren't bad at all either. I'm going to let Eddie walk in about a month with hi contract expires. He's decent but I'm trying to keep the roster from not being bloated and so I'm cool with letting him bounce. Nate has a year and a half left on his deal and I'm going to let him bounce too. When Higa eventually takes over as leader, I'll either just have her get rid of the Syndicate name and start anew or just kick Nate out and go Higa-Doc-Flynn and maybe add two people. Nate is a good team team wrestler so even if he get kicked out, I could find something for him before he goes. </p><p> </p><p>

I might be in the minority but I really like the Behemoths and I LOVE Killer Shark. Push him hard every time I play TCW. I push them both honestly but Shark is the one I make an effort to push. He's not the best but he's a TCW school graduate and so in my mind, I always think the company would want him to succeed (same with Thomas, Mo and Courtney.) I also like the challenge of pushing someone who isn't a work rate guy in and work rate company and see if I could pull it off.</p>

Man idk what you are doing with Doc. But he just isnt pulling ratings for me. PPV match vs Bach and he pulls a 59 performance.

What are your best matches so far?

I just ran The War to Settle the Score, with AA/Hawkins on top in a 30 minute Iron Man match. It ended in a draw, 1 fall each, and got an 86 rating.

89 is my best so far in Malice in Wonderland. Nothing else has hit 82 yet.

Personally, with The Syndicate I want to have it mirror the old version somewhere down the line. That means replacing everyone but Wolf for me. That's not to say I don't like who's in it now, they just don't fit my vision of the group.

I like Doc, but he's a tag guy trying to fill the veteran role that Sam freaking Keith had. I want to steal an aging former champ from USPW or SWF for that spot.

I also like the Elite, but they're too broken down for me. I team in their early 30s that could mirror Anderson and Hill pretty well would be ideal.

As far as Flynn, I do think he has a future, just not that he's THE future. He's barely younger than Wolf, and I don't think he'll ever reach his level. I want to replace him with a guy like Yuta that I think can really carry a company as the lead heel someday.

My plan is to replace them with The Ring Generals (renamed to The Ring Machines). They're 34 at the beginning of the game, have 100 tag experience, and are great in the ring. You probably won't get a singles guy out of it like Human Arsenal, but you don't really need that.

The peak has been 73 but he managed to carry Tana to a 73 match on my second to last show. One think that helps looking at his skills is that he's <em>still</em> improving a bit. So perhaps I got a good destiny roll with him. It also helps that his momentum currently is Very Warm thanks to being involved in some high rated segments with Wolf. I've leaned heavily on his strengths; in ring and promos (seriously, he's starts off a good promo and if you're able to put him in a segment where he talks, it'll be good.)</p><p> </p><p> His appeal to me is that the way I portray him is exactly how I mentioned how I portrayed Bach only different. Both understand that if they want to make it to the top, it's now or never for them. But while Bach is more noble, Doc is nastier, unrelenting, remorseless. To him, if he's going to make it to the top, he has to do this.</p>

I have plans for Nick Booth to betray Sinner Society, and have them get blindsided by a new group after Peak loses to Andrews of Booth, Dead Men Walking (Gravedigga + Mobstar) Hell's Bouncer and the leader, Matthew DeVille (Aldous Blackfriar).

DeVille would then beat Peak at Mayhem, and the group would all become big players in the company. Also ideas are having more GSW people to the group over time, and have it be a way to get the good GSW workers into the company.

Any ideas of names for people would be great. Blackfriar will be called Matthew Deville, but the others (including Booth) I'm open to name suggestions

What road agent notes are people using in their regular match ? After pulling a 71 out of Andrews vs Wolf, and anything not involving them or Chord/Bach scoring a low 60 at best, I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong on that front.

TCW has everything called in ring by default, so you'll need to remove it when involving some of the lesser workers.</p>
