<p>My second game got a much better industry/economy roll. I'm drawing 8K for TV, just drew 21K for Malice in Wonderland (rated 78, with AA/Wolf on top rated 80). </p><p> </p><p>

Made ridiculous amounts of money--8 million on the PPV, not even done with the month yet. Spent about 4 million to set up my own broadcaster. Went internet subscription, because even taking a monthly loss, it is cheaper than other options, and I've got big coverage in the US with medium everywhere else.</p><p> </p><p>

Biggest issue is that I have very limited options for main events. Got to build some more star power ASAP. I've got lots of guys with good stats that aren't over yet.</p>

Might run TCW as my first retail save. I don't think I've ever had a long TCW game, what are some tips and titbits for a first time player? I'm quite familiar with the majority of the roster but not with how their shows are generally booked.

<p>I think a lot of the "traditional" TCW strategies are out in 2020. The top of the roster is very thin. You need to go on a hiring spree pretty quick. Ideally, try to pick up a guy ready to main event right now--but I haven't found any that aren't already under exclusive deals. Otherwise, I went for younger talent for the most part. I hired about a dozen guys, searched capped at 12 years experience or less. </p><p> </p><p>

The TV main events are probably going to almost always have either AA or Hawkins against the hottest available opposite disposition talent, maybe with interference or appearing at ringside, or tags with AA & Hawkins using various partners to keep things fresh. I'm working with the starting storylines, but have added Stone v Huggins to the mix.</p><p> </p><p>

Danny Fonzarelli has good entertainment skills, and I might encourage him to transition into being a manager. The Behemoths v Mighty Meaty storyline is good for angles. Peak and Goldworthy can both talk, Shark and Titan have great meanace, Mo and Tana have decent entertainment. I added Danny to talk with them, probably put him and Peak in for a six man on PPV to prolong the feud.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm pushing The Syndicate. Devine Fortune allied with One Man Army/Human Arsenal in their storyline, which is building to Cage Wars probably at Total Mayhem.</p><p> </p><p>

Gauge is going to dominate his feud with Benson, and if I can convince him to do it, Benson will lose his hair to blow off the feud in February or early March.</p><p> </p><p>

Josh Taylor is useful, but I don't really have anything for him to do right now, so he's wining random upper mid card matches. He got a shot at AA earlier, lost by DQ on Hawkins interference. Might put him in a triple threat main event at the February PPV.</p><p> </p><p>

Also thinking about running an 8 team trios tournament, either for a trophy or maybe as a new title....</p><p> </p><p>

Other guys I'm pushing--T-Bone, Youngman, Rayne Man</p><p> </p><p>

I haven't experimented with the product focus, but It might be easier to tweak it to where the show rating is 90% main event and the angle focus is 90% of the hottest angle. On normal settings, I've booked 4 shows and the best one got a 78.</p><p> </p><p>

So there you have it. My current strategy for early TCW. Please note it is probably wrong, horrible, very bad, and not any good at all. Following it may cause you to be mocked, deranged, fnord, deported, folded, spindled, mutilated, impregnated, disbarred or otherwise inconvenienced. TANSTAAFL applies. Bring a towel.</p>

Which makes up 10 of my planned 32 names for the tournament and original division members. Anyone else who's available that I should look at? Got a few names in mind already from CWA,USPW, and international talent that I haven't signed yet because I don't want to rack up too many costs while I wait to see who from the big 2 I can sign still.

<p>With a lack of young face talent, Josh Taylor has just saved me by offering to put T-Bone over. Taylor's not one of the guys I typically push (I just think he's pretty bland) but he's talented to eat a loss to T-Bone and still be able to put on some good matches with some lower overness. </p><p> </p><p>

That's the biggest challenge with TCW this year--building a roster with stars that are closer to 30 than 50. Jay, AA, and Wolf are good to go from the beginning, but you've gotta work hard to build up someone to replace your Troy Tornados and Human Arsenals. </p><p> </p><p>

Greg Gauge can be solidly in the 60s by the end of the first month, and Matt Hocking is a good candidate to push as well. I teamed him up with Marc Speed as So Cool So Cal and they're challenging Mighty Meat after they beat Killer Shark and Titan for the tag belts. </p><p> </p><p>

I actually had Edd Stone go over Freddy Huggins in a feud as well so that I would have another, younger face that could fit into the upper card.</p><p> </p><p>

It's all a waiting game until Jaylon Martins is ready to get called up, though. Kids a star!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Talk to Yuta Isono and convince him to work in America. You can team him up with Yuri for the time being, and once Yuri's excursion is up Yuta can be pushed as the new Japanese star to take on Koshiro Ino's mantel.</p>

One note on Foxxy Larue. She's a drug user and immediately got popped for it. I sent her to rehab and convinced her to give up using but she's out for 5 months. She's awesome but be weary of that.

Speaking of development, was that MAW you sent them to? Can you convince an owner of a developmental territory that you don't actually own into starting a women's division, or did you in-game edit or temporarily take control via adding another player?

I'd love to try out a multiplayer game at some point with someone where they operate TCW and I run MAW. Would make for a lot of fun in my opinion!!

Yeah, hopefully USPW runs their women's division in 2020 not unlike they ran it in 2016.
