coole885 Posted May 21, 2020 Share Posted May 21, 2020 I recently opened up a Puerto Rican fed on a whim and realized former NPJW, AEW, TNA spanish announcer Willie Urbina is missing from the database. That took me down a rabbit hole to find out where he was currently working and I came out with a fleshed out spreadsheet with a current roster for La Liga Wrestling (formerly WWL) and a full revamp of the Puerto Rican wrestling scene (100+ wrestlers/staff, alter egos, stables, tag teams, etc.). For that much info, is it still preferred to put everything in a post here, or could I just provide the spreadsheet so it's easy to keep size, age, and/or debut years of the workers sorted? TheWho87 Posted May 31, 2020 Author Share Posted May 31, 2020 So here is the first major update from me for TEW 2020 starting in June, a couple of big changes over the beta version, firstly the venues and locations has been completely overhauled, tidied up and expanded, venues were then copied and then turned into locations, rounding up capacities to the next round number for every 5,000, from 5,000 to 100,000, with the highest capacity representing the highest possible capacity venue for that location. Secondly the match types has been overhauled and expanded and is around doubled in size, after going through what was already there I then started a quick research and expanded the match types, firstly into cinematic matches, where most notable matches (Hardy's Compound, Boneyard & Jungle Island) have a generic variant (Compound, Graveyard & Desert Island), there is also a generic "Cinematic" match as a base you can clone with instructions on how to create your own. There are also a lot more deathmatch variants available, along with some that just add some flavour text for results. There is still much that needs improving, but there has been 1-2 years tests and things are mostly stable, I've fixed up things that may have caused issues. but from the feedback from that it appears to be realistic. So as usual, if there are any problems or anything that needs changing post them below. Poor referee's DA Brewer, Jessica Carr Poor Road agent skills were Jason Jordan, Ryan Katz, Johnny Moss, Jeremy Borash Add to the poor Road agents list - Jason Ayers, Bruce Pritchard, Paige, Paul Heyman - some either shouldn't be set as a road agent (paige?) or improved Corey Graves was set as a Road agent? Would he be one? (Possibly Road agents need overhauled maybe?) Most women including Rhea Ripley were hated by the crowd due to the product in NXT Due to overness levels a match such as Angel Garza vs Apollo Crews was noted as pre-show worthy for Raw (Tough one because would a real life crowd care, atm I'm not really sure they would) Jimmy Uso should have an injured of 6-9 months. Knee Injury. Smackdown was far easier to get close to the 60 rated, my main event Reigns/Bryan vs Strowman/Wyatt got a 61, whilst a co-main of Gable/Styles scored 51 The show was rated a 53, as over Raw/SD i couldn't get 3 storylines over 50 heat, so again take into account that the show would have likely been a 57-58 I will add this though - I done a week edit to compare to results you told about, yeah AI booked a 71 raw and 62 Smackdown, so it may be my booking style that doesn't start off too well. Last time I played this mod in 2016 I had to grind for 2 years in WWE to get my top stars to not get my company to drop popularity every month or for my shows to get cancelled, and even with that no woman had more than 30 popularity, so booking them was pointless. Last time I played this mod in 2016 I had to grind for 2 years in WWE to get my top stars to not get my company to drop popularity every month or for my shows to get cancelled, and even with that no woman had more than 30 popularity, so booking them was pointless. A lot has changed in 4 years, but just remember this mod tends to be more based than others, if yo want to book things and get top ratings every show there are other mods suited for that, if you want a challenge that is more similar to reality then give mine a go.
