Haha, ahh thanks man. Lots to unpick here so I'm going to ignore the terrible egg puns, even though they Cracked me up!

Glad you think so highly of Nathan McKenzie. He's been a real highlight for me writing too. Booking an angle/feud that has lasted so long, without the two men touching in the ring (Montgomery Croft hasn't even had a match in 2020 up to this point) has been really fun. I'm just writing week 4 of April, and I pulled the trigger on a match between the two of them. But just when the feud looks to be over, I'm taking it down another route entirely, while also extending its life

As for Rebecca. When I started the innuendos and 'flirting', with poor Doug getting all confused and horny, I didn't really have a final plan for it all. I do now, and I think it'll be funny/sad and will create a good heel out of it... We'll see how that one goes. I've never really written for announcers before, as there can be no physical pay-off. But I think I have a work around for it, and I think it'll be good in the end.

Howdy folks, Greg Sluchinski from the Pro Wrestling Reporter here, and we have had a big week in the world of wrestling. I'm going to trim it down to the highlights for you, because today is the day (*as this is written) that the full version of TEW2020 is released, and therefore I'm not going to have a whole lotta time. So, let's begin with a couple of new signings. The first one, is Erik Strong, making the jump from CWA to USPW. He's due to start with them some time next week, once he finishes with CWA, and it's an interesting move for the 34 year old. A name like 'Strong' is going to help him in USPW, and he could even come in as a relative of former owner Sam Strong and USPW Women's Champion Alicia Strong.

Another Eric (this time with a C) is our next mover, as Eric Tyler has put pen to paper on a lucrative contract with the SWF! The charismatic manager and colour commentator has worked all over North America, including stints in DAVE and CGC in Canada. He currently plies his trade in PSW, along with various other former DAVE stars. There is currently no plans to use Tyler on TV. He's a great manager, and a great colour commentator, so don't be surprised to see him end up there eventually. But Tyler coming in is seen as a direct replacement (and improvement) for Runaway Train, who left SWF last month due to contract expiry. Thoughts are, Tyler will help the youngsters and help out putting matches together as an agent.

Finally for now, before I go and spend countless hours on this awesome new game, The USPW World Championship changed hands at Liberty and Justice. The show, that pulled an overall rating that other companies could only dream of (87), saw a fantastic undercard, including Rick Law defeating Joss Thompson (83), Steve Frehley beat Enygma (82), and Alicia Strong defend her USPW Women's Title successfully against Melody (81). But the Main Event stole the show. Rich Money taking on Nicky Champion. As far as underdog stories go, Nicky is probably not the best to be in there, because he was a 6-time World Champion heading in. But he's a 7-time Champ now, and he ended Money's third reign at 8 months, which included an excellent 11 defences. Nicky is still the biggest star in USPW, and I'd say he's in the conversation to be the biggest star in the USA.

I've had a lot of time to consider all my options this week, and I've come to the conclusion that the roster is a little imbalanced. When I came in, I wanted to turn Kerry Wayne heel. It was a conscious decision of mine, and it's a time honoured tradition in the business. You get a hot babyface, and you run with it. Then, when the iron is hot, you strike, and turn them heel. Before they get a chance to become stale. I've seen it happen countless times in SWF, USPW, TCW, you name it. And it worked! People s**t all over Kerry for doin' what he did, and they're s*****g all over him even more now that he seems to be aligning with, or at least, taking bribes, from Montgomery Croft. He'll be switching with a heel Main Event level talent soon enough, to balance out the top of the card there.

I have plenty of Upper card talents I can push into the Main Event at a moments notice, on both sides of the face/heel divide. But in terms of recognised heel enhancement talent, there really isn't a lot to go on. I could split the boyband up, and have LiberTeen members as heels and faces, but still doing what they're doing now – putting people over and learning their trade, but I like them as a group. There are a couple of tag teams I'm going to split up in the coming weeks and months that'll help balance things out a little too. But the main thing I'm going to do, is bring a guy up from developmental who has been knocking on my door almost every day, sayin' he's learnt all he can down there and he's ready to come up and make an impact. I like this kid's balls, and I like his abilities too. I don't really have a spot for him on the Main Roster, because he's an ASS kicker, but I

can

use him as a 'heater', or 'muscle' for someone I'm thinking of turning heel. Watch this space.

There's going to be a few changes to the faces and heels further down the card in the next 6-8 weeks. Try to keep up!

Summary:

Obviously RAW aren't on TV in January, as they end their 'Season' in December, and take the month off to prepare for the following 'Season'. Looking at the ratings in January 2020, it's clear that CWA have a long way to go if they want to break up that top three, despite the star power of some of their talents like Jack and Ricky DeColt, Sean McFly, etc. 21CW had the best month on TV on average, with some solid shows, and TCW's Malice In Wonderland stole the monthly PPV Prize. Interesting to see the companies ranked 1 and 2 not get any wins overall there, however USPW's January Week 2 TV show was the best of the week. 21CW are your winners for the month.

We kicked things off with one of the hottest stories in RAW right now... as Montgomery Croft arrived on the stage... Nathan McKenzie was in the ring already!!

Montgomery Croft:

“Mr. McKenzie... I can see I'm not getting through to you with the spoken word... and sometimes... you can take a kangaroo to water, but sometimes, the kangaroo is gonna kick you in the chest!! I've done all I can for you...and now it's time to do things the 'old fashioned way'... I'm gonna kick your ARSE all over Australia!! Next week... On the Easter Show... We'll sign the contract... But tonight... You got a match with Kerry Wayne... Just like you asked for... Good luck... and rest assured that I'll be out of this dump long before your match is done...”

And with that, Croft was gone... McKenzie stood in the ring and waited for Kerry Wayne to emerge through the curtain...

But Kal, Kian and Kerry – The Wayne Brothers – slid into the ring behind him, and a 3 on 1 beatdown began!!

McKenzie got beaten down before the match, so this one was pretty one sided in favour of the cocky Wayne Brother. However, 'Big Mac' exploded into life late on and took down everything that moved! In the end, he almost cut Kerry in half with his 'Spear'!

As soon as the bell rang, Kal and Kian Wayne were at it again, as they began kicking the victorious McKenzie in his ribs...

However, the beatdown didn't last for long, because Captain Wrestling II and Will Beaumont sprinted to the ring for the save...

The Captain and his young protege took Kal and Kian down, while Kerry scampered away and waited for his Brothers on the stage...

Next week, Captain Wrestling II and 'Mr. Australia' Kerry Wayne will fight 1 on 1, finally, after Wayne turned his back on his former best friend...

Isaac and Cole Taylor (no relation) were backstage together in the locker room... Things are often tense between these two... Mostly from Cole...

Isaac Taylor:

“G'Day Taylor... You heard the news?!”

Cole Taylor:

“That we're on the same team for the Golden Egg Hunt...?!”

Isaac Taylor:

“Yeah, that... and we're teaming up tonight... Just you and me, buddy!!”

Cole Taylor:

“Umm I don't think so man... Happy to be on your team next week, and I hope we all win, but I'm not interested in forming any kind of, tag team... Or...”

Isaac Taylor:

“Taylor... I'm not making this up, mate... We're teaming up, later tonight...!! Check tonight's card if ya don't believe me...”

“Umm... Thanks Dougie... But I hardly think that's appropriate!!”

Doug Vallence:

“NO! Oh God NO! I was talking about Isaac... and Cole... the Taylors... Not your...!! Umm... That is to say!!”

Rebecca Richey:

“Oh my God, relax Dougie, I was just pullin' ya pissa!! Thought you liked it when I did that...?!”

Doug Vallence:

“Oh thank... Listen... I wanted to... that is to say, I... I...”

Rebecca Richey:

“Just relax Dougie, honestly, I'll take it from here... So up next, the RAW Tag Team Titles will be on the line... God's Gift defending against Horton and Heath – Party Central... If they win the Titles from Banks and Standish, then Banks and Standish will take their place on their Egg Hunt Team next week!!”

A great Tag Team Title Match here, between two of RAW's most cohesive, and most entertaining, units. Horton and Heath were looking to become only the fourth 4-time Tag Champs in RAW's history (The RAW Giants, The Melbourne Blondes and The Next Big Things did it previously). But God's Gift weren't ready to finish their first reign as Champs just yet, and they put up a heck of a fight trying to stave off the attacks from Party Central. In the end, it was the tale of two super kicks. Heath hit a brilliant one on Spiffy Stan Standish that almost took his head off, but he wasn't the legal man, Alexander Banks was, and he waited for Murdock to turn around, and kicked him under the chin too to score the win and retain the Gold.

On the big screen, as God's Gift celebrated their 4th Title defence, The Brat Pack were back sat in the back of their limo... (Easy for me to say)...

Thurston Darcy III:

“YES! For it is I... Thurston... Darcy... The THIRD... Joined as ever, by my best mate, Artemis Eyre-Rochester... We're almost out of rhymes... So I think it's time...”

Artemis Eyre-Rochester:

“It is TIME... It's time to head HOME Darcy... Home to RAW!! But when is the best moment to make an impact...?! Wait a second here... There's a Tag Tournament next month... Winners get a shot at the Tag Champs at the Mid-Season Finale... Orrghhh... That's right up our street, mate!!”

Thurston Darcy III:

“Right-O... THAT's our aim... A shot at the Tag Champs... The pretenders... The guys who are just cheap knock-offs of US!! That's right God's Gift... We're talkin' to YOUS!! You might think you're good... But we're ACE mate!! Don't believe us...?! Ask A.N.Y.O.N.E...!!”

Artemis Eyre-Rochester:

“God's Gift... RAW Tag Team Champions... But are they going to be Champs by the time the Mid-Season Finale comes around...?! If they are... can they stop the Brat Back from becoming 3-time Champioooooons?!”

Both:

“DOUBT IT!!”

God's Gift displayed mixed emotions... Happy to still be Champions, but angry at The Brat Pack for ruining their moment...

Backstage

Some of the Team Captains were stood around a TV Monitor next, ready to learn the location of the Golden Egg Hunt next week...

Loxley Robbins, Will Beaumont, Louie Louis and Maurice Jackson were anxious to find out... but the video revealed a 'Riddle'!!

Voice Over:

“IT TOOK ALMOST 15 YEARS TO BUILD ME... BEGAN IN 1958 AND WAS COMPLETED IN 1973...

I CAN SEE THE BRIDGE IN SYDNEY HARBOUR... WE SEAT ALMOST 3,000, ANY MORE IS DO-ABLE BUT HARDER...

ONE OF YOU CAPTAINS WAS FAMOUSLY BORN HERE... JANUARY 1989 WAS THE MONTH AND YEAR...

NOT MAURICE, NOT QUIZ MASTER, NOT BEAUMONT NOR LOX-LEY... IT IS'NT HEATH, SO THERE'S ONLY ONE IT CAN BE...”

Louie Louis:

“Well that was obvious!!”

Loxley Robbins:

“Shhh!! I wanna hear if there's more!!”

Louie Louis:

“Umm... Are you serious?!”

Loxley Robbins:

“Yeah... Why...? Do you know where it is...?!”

Louie Louis:

“It's ME you idiots!! I WAS BORN IN THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE...?!”

Will Beaumont:

“You were?! Oh my god, that's crazy...!! But what does that have to do with this?!”

Louie Louis:

“Is he kidding...?! Overlooking the Harbour...?! In January 89?! It's ME... It's about ME...!! I WAS BORN IN THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE!!”

It took everyone a second, but they got on the same page as Louis... Next week's Golden Egg Hunt will take place AT the Sydney Opera House!!

12 men will compete in a series of challenges, and 12 men will remain in the arena for two six-man tag matches!!

Cole Taylor & Isaac Taylor [vs] Blake Belushi & Frogue Element

Cole and Isaac actually gelled fairly well as a team here. They didn't have many opportunities to use double-team moves, as they were taken out by Belushi and Frogue in a dominant performance. Cole was pinned following the 'Frog Splash'.

We quickly cut backstage, as Luke Steele burst into the men's locker room and slammed Will Beaumont into the lockers, holding him by his face...

Luke Steele:

“You listen to me, and you listen GOOD, kid... You might be our Team Captain, but you are no Captain of mine... I'm a former 3-Time TV Champion, and IN that ring... and IN the gym... I'm unmatched... unbeatable... and UNBREAKABLE!! So don't you DARE send me off to the Sydney Opera House... I should be here... In one of those six-way matches... NOT Blake Belushi... and certainly not you!! I promise you this... If you send me off with Matty Wills, I will kill him before we get there!!”

Another Captain walked into the room and ended Steele's bullying... Beaumont's mentor Captain Wrestling II...

Captain Wrestling II:

“Is there a problem here...?”

Steele released his grip, and started brushing Beaumont's shoulders off...

Luke Steele:

“No... No problem at all... 'Captain'... Me and Will here, were just discussing our strategy for next week... Remember what I told you, kid... and you'll do just... fine...”

New Generation (Brodie Lachlan & Matty Wills) w/ Rose Wills [vs] Tye & Frankie LiberTeen w/ Raymond Royce

Brodie did most of the heavy lifting in this one, concerned by Wills' well-being after an elbow from Frankie LiberTeen two weeks ago busted him wide open. In the end, Matty's hot-tag, and Brodie's fired up comeback was enough to get the win as Tye tapped out to the 'Ankle Lock'.

Autumn Gleason was talking to Lynx in the back, and she was not very impressed by the 'Pretty Boy' standing her up last week...

Autumn Gleason:

“I don't wanna hear your excuses!!”

Lynx:

“Look, I'm telling you... (Maurice) Jackson attacked me... from behind... and shoved me in the boot of my car!! I was in there for almost two hours!!”

Autumn Gleason:

“He wouldn't do that... You've always had it in for him, and... and... you're just going to have to deal with the fact that I like HIM, more than I like you!! And you only have one person to blame... YOURSELF!!”

She stormed off, leaving Lynx stood with his hands on his hips, shaking his head... Just then, Maurice Jackson himself showed up...

Maurice Jackson:

“Listen, Lynx... No hard feelings about last week... Right?? I just wanted to make sure Autumn knew what kind of man you are... The kind that will stand her up, and drop her when he gets a better offer...”

Lynx:

“You have five seconds... to give me a reason NOT to kick your arse all over this arena...!!”

Maurice Jackson:

“Well that's actually why I came up here, though... We need to talk about next week... I'm your Cap... I mean... You're on my Team for the Golden Egg Hunt... Now look, if it's okay with you, I'd like to send the RAW Giants off to do the challenges... and have me and you compete in the matches here... That okay? We're the two most talented in-ring performers, right?”

Lynx calmed down a little, and realised he was going to have to choose a better time to get revenge on Jackson... He needs him next week...

'The Natural' Nicky Gilbert [vs] Joe 'The Z-Man' Zucoo

Gilbert and Zucco brawled all around the ring and ringside area here. In a fight that suited 'The Z-Man' more, the two men almost got counted out a few times. In the end though, 'The Natural' was able to hit his 'Fisherman's Suplex' on the plucky mechanic.

Post-Match Assault

After the match, Tombstone appeared out of nowhere, and took Gilbert down at the knees... completely overwhelming him!!

Tombstone's arrival was a total shock to everyone in the arena, but especially Gilbert, and he stood no chance of defending himself...

Luckily for Gilbert, he's a nice guy with a fair few friends, and one of them came sprinting out to his rescue...

Rod Sullivan slid into the ring, and started brawling with Tombstone!! A much more even 1 on 1 fight, but Tombstone still won it convincingly...

The RAW Quest Champion grabbed the two former Next Big Things, and slammed their heads together in a brutal display!!

Gilbert was down...

Sullivan was down...

They both laid in the ring at Tombstone's feet, as he called for a microphone... He cupped his ear...

Tombstone:

“I can't hear you Echo... Where are you...?!”

Echo didn't show up, but he has stated he'll be here next week to fight Tombstone and Gilbert... But will Gilbert be okay after this viciousness from Tombstone?!

Montgomery Croft's Boardroom

Manhunter... The 6'9”, 365lb behemoth was doing what he was told... Showing up to Montgomery Croft's Boardroom... Alone...

Montgomery Croft:

“Well done big guy... You did the right thing coming here alone... Check this out...”

Croft slid some files along the desk... Just like he slid the package to McKenzie... (this action took around seven takes to get right!!)

Montgomery Croft:

“Open those up... That's right... You need to ask yourself, does Skyscraper know what you now know...?! Because I happen to know for a FACT... that he has known for a while... and he hasn't told you... His 'partner'... His 'best friend'...”

Manhunter:

“So... Those paintings were The Melbourne Blondes... and The Next Big Things... both crossed out... and then, me and Scraper were the bigger guys crossed out... What do we all have in common?! We're all four-time RAW Tag Team Champs... but those two split up before they got to five... So that explains the 1, 2, 3, 4, X thing... But answer me this Croft... Did YOU paint those markings...?!”

Montgomery Croft - chuckles:

“Listen friend... I have no idea who the heck painted those, alright... All I was able to dig up, was what they meant... and that Skyscraper found out a while ago, and didn't tell you...”

'The Richest Man In RAW' smiled as Manhunter looked conflicted and bit his lip...

Swoop McCarthy & Loxley Robbins [vs] The Masterminds w/ Spin Doctor

For the first six minutes of this one, it was all Swoop and Loxley. The Masterminds bumped around, and looked like they were in big trouble and in danger of losing a big Main Event match quickly. However, the fan favourites ran into trouble when Spin Doctor used Mark Question's Question Mark Cane to clock Robbins behind the ear. He dropped to a knee, and had to tag out. Swoop found himself 2 against 1 for a few minutes, with referee Tony Thorpe letting a LOT go. In the end though, Loxley got back into the match for one move. He steamed into Quiz Master with a lariat that took them both over the top rope and to the outside, allowing Swoop to hit the 'Running Powerslam' on Mark Question!

Closing Segment In The Ring

The match was over, but the final segment of the show was just getting started... Blake Belushi and Frogue Element rushed the ring!!

They took the victorious Swoop down, and started hammering him with fists and boots... The crowd going wild with anger at them!!

Frogue had 'The Alpha Male' in a headlock, while Belushi kicked him, hard, in the ribs and legs...

But then Loxley Robbins, who was fairly fresh and well recovered at this point, went for some hardware... and brought a steel chair into the ring!!

He swung for the fences, and hit Belushi in the face... a fact that 'Beautiful' Belushi hated!! So he rolled out of the ring angry and wounded...

Frogue was next, taking a chair shot to the gut, and then the back... He too exited the ring as soon as he could...

Swoop was up again, thanks to Loxley, and the RAW TV Champion asked for a microphone...

Swoop McCarthy:

“Yeah you better run!! Next week... Easter Showdown... The Golden Egg Hunt will be a right laugh... But that'll go on over here... But over HERE (gestures with hands)... Frogue Element and I are having our 1 on 1 re-match for THIS... And Frogue-o Baggins... I promise... to knock that stupid Hair-do off your head... wipe that stupid smile off your face... and RETAIN... MY... RAW TV Title... Coz I'M the Lord of this Ring!!”

Loxley Robbins:

“And Blake Belushi!! If I see you in the ring, or backstage, or wherever... You better hide that face... Coz I'm gonna rearrange it... What you did tonight... Wasn't... SAM-WISE...?!”

Swoop McCarthy:

“What are you doing...?!”

Loxley Robbins:

“That was a pun... It was a Lord of the Rings pun... Yu know Samwise... Frodo's best friend...”

Swoop McCarthy:

“Uh huh...”

Swoop looked at the crowd, and they began laughing and mocking Loxley...

Loxley Robbins:

“Oh so you can do it, with Frogue-o Baggins, but when I try...”

Swoop McCarthy:

“LEGO-LOX... prick those pointy ears of yours up... and listen good... I'm gonna SWOOP on in here... and save your arse on the mic... I appreciate you havin' my back here tonight... and savin' MY arse in the ring... and I promise to have yours if you need or want it... But puns, are NOT your strong suit... Goodnight ladies and gents... SWOOP!!... There it is!!”
