He came to a field and his gaze fell upon three animals. All of them, he viewed, nay he knew, that they were beneath him. The first animal was a Gazelle, the Lion approached with confidence and at it's first realization the Gazelle prepared to flee as fast at it could. That was till the Lion said "Go ahead and run. You may be faster now but I am cunning, when you are tired and your momentum burned I will eat you like the rest!" The Gazelle did not like it yet he bowed his head for he knew the Lion to be true. The Lion smiled, his superiorty affirmed and he moved towards the next animal, a Rhino. The Rhino felt that he was ready and he turned to meet this so-called King. His horns glistened in the sun and he felt that the time was now for battle but to his shock, the Lion simply laughed and shook his head. "You may have the physical strength to challenge me Rhino but you forget my greatest strength is not the fangs in my mouth or claws in my paws but what I am! I am many and you are one, I am the King because my Pride, my followers bid it be. Even if you earned one victory over me what would that mean a year from now? Nothing." Fury built within the Rhino for he knew that the Lion was right, being ready did not matter, the Lion was the King, not through size, strength or will but because all that knew the Lion knew that he was the King, even if they didn't want it to be so. The Rhino, reluctantly, bowed his head. Then the Lion came upon the third animal, one that he had not seen before, perched upon a branch was not a mere animal but a myth, a legend, a Phoenix. The Phoenix paid the Lion no mind. "Do you not know a Lion when you see one bird? I ask that you come down here and bow to your King." This time, the Phoenix was the one who laughed. "I'm sorry King but my head doesn't bow for you see it never touches the floor. I never touch the floor." "Do you understand that I could tear you to shreds, I could have the Gazelle trample you, the Rhino run you through with it's horns." "Could you? Then I will wait up here. Wait until you the day comes that you cannot do that." "You will be waiting many years." "As I have done for the Kings before you, whilst you rule those whose heads are on the floor, I will soar above you. When you body weighs heavy and your bones turn to ash I will soar above you. When the sun sets in the east and never rises in the west I will soar above you." "I hope, for your sake, that you are patient then bird." The Phoenix let out a thunderous laugh, one that shook the Lion, Rhino and Gazelle to their core, one that reminded of kingdoms once forgotten where red and yellow feathers flamed across every sky in the kingdom. I had finally found a television broadcaster that would accept our television show "Lucha De La Noche" or "Late Night Fight" for those not bilingual. It had to be on a graveyard time slot with one of the least notable commercial broadcasters in the entire country but it got the job done. We only have an hour made available to us and cancellation looms at any slip up. Yet, I have faith. We will succeed, we have to. Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico ______________________________________ OLLIE Lucha De La Noche! Debut Preview! Puebla, Mexico - January 8th, 2020 Marcos Flores begins his hunt for Hijo Del Mephisto! Beloved star Marcos Flores was the unfortunate first victim of The Council of Decay during their formation in October 2019. The brutal attack on Flores was capitalized with Mephisto spraying red mist into the eyes of the 6 time Universal champion. Blinding him for a whole month! Since Flores' return however, Mephisto is nowhere to be seen and only leaves cryptic hints for the frustrated King of Leon. Mephisto promises tonight to reveal a clue of his whereabouts to Flores but only if he can defeat the original disciple, Slayyer! New champions on the debut show? As their leader, Extraordanario Jr prepares to face off against the Campeonato de Universal OLLIE Nicolas Lopez, the Space Invaders are face to face with a challenge of their own on the debut show for Lucha De La Noche as their Campeonatos de Parejas OLLIE are on the line against the loyalist OLLIE fan favourites, Blue Phantom and Tricolor Jr. Will our debut show be made even more exciting by two new champions? What will break first? Your arm or your spirit? Amo Del Gato seems to have a fondness for opponents that trouble him within the ring. Even further, when he really loves the match you give him, he will repay your honor in defeat by snapping your arm from it's socket! One man who will not be frightened by such tactics is Phoenix IV, the fourth son in the most legendary family in Mexico! The two face off and if Phoenix IV is not careful then Amo Del Gato might just make him his favourite. Queen Amazon will claim another victim! It's pretty clear to see that Queen Amazon's requests to face whoever talent management can find, is just a way to satisfy her bloodlust ahead of her collission course with Electric Dreamer. Some poor lady is gonna think they're getting their big break when in reality the only thing being broken will be their body by the fiercest, largest female athlete in OLLIE. Extraordanario to Lopez! Extraordanario to Lopez! Do you come in? Let the insanity...commence! The minute Extraordanario Jr earned a title shot against Nicolas Lopez it was always going to be an interesting experience. However, Jr claims to be broadcasting a special message to both us and the champion from "Out of this world". We will have to see what the leader of the Galactic force has in mind for us all on the debut show this Friday night! Campeonatos de Parejas OLLIE: Space Invaders (Loco & Rider)© vs. Blue Phantom & Tricolor Jr Only real tossup for me, this could go either way, and it actually doesnt matter Phantom and Tricolor arent really a team, in Mexico is pretty common for two individual wrestlers to be paired up for tag matches and even win tag titles, in this case of a tossup I have to go with the champions, because the champions have always an advantage in my book, and is too soon to begin shifting titles. Amo Del Gato vs. Phoenix IV If I know something about Mexican wrestling is that the hero beats the top bad guy only when its the end of the feud, this is the first night, Phoenix IV will be a star never doubt that, but tonight is more important Del Gato wins, to establish his character after that build up, he can lose, but he also needs to be dominant.
