Still loving this save and all its curveballs. Ted DiBiase turned whistleblower in my version of the Steroid Scandal in the week before KOTR '91, which he was supposed to win on his way to dethrone Steamboat at SummerSlam and claim his first WWF Championship. I was going to import an actual steroid scandal narrative to spice things up, but the game basically did it for me. I love it. I instated a drug policy and started pushing "smaller" guys. DiBiase was replaced by Rick Rude, who lost to Savage in the final. Savage then turned heel and had his legendary match with Steamboat (never happened in my version of WM3) at SummerSlam. So instead of DiBiase/Hart for Hart's ascension to ace, it's going to be Savage/Hart in a true passing of the torch in the main event of WrestleMania 8.

5SSW - January 2024

5SSW World Champion - The Breaker (Sarah Taylor) [defeated Romi Yamato at Dynamo Tag 2023]

I hired her back in late 2021 right after she became active in Japan. Being a lightweight, she is on the 'bigger' side of the roster. So I decided to give her a gimmick similar to Hall of Pain Mark Henry where she always looks to break her opponents' limbs. Hence her nickname.

5SSW All Asian Champion - Toku Kijmuta [defeated Fuyuko Higa at Joshimania 2023]

This is an odd one. Toku had very hot momentum and she even invented a new move. Then, I decided to turn her face since she was way too popular. Soon enough, she got into a quick feud with her former partner and, once that was over with, I gave her a title match against Higa as one of my marquee matches for my biggest show. They delivered a 91 rating which is the highest of the save so far and it's not even close. Since then, Kijmuta has been holding this title for near an year.

5SSW Triangle Champion - Lucy Stone-McFly [defeated Machiko Matsuda and Etsuko Arihyoshi at 5SSW Reign Supreme 2024]

The Triangle Title is kinda tough for me to book since i'm not too much into three way matches. However, it's great for a developing worker like Lucy Stone-McFly. Once her young lion phase was over with, I gave her a little push to gain momentum by beating some freelancers and midcarders like a retiring Otsune Tsumura. Once she got into "hot" momentum, I decided to put her in the triangle title picture facing champion Machiko Matsuda. To help the two of then, I picked Etsuko Arihyoshi since she is very reliable, fed her some wins during the touring and added her to the three way match.

5SSW Tag Team Champions - The Angel Alliance (Paige Croft & Yuma Maruya) [defeated Torment & Sorrow at Final Attack 2023]

For some reason, they had excellent chemistry. So, once Maruya lost the world title back at my first Joshimania(2020) I created this team and they have been a cornerstone of the tag division since. It's perfect since Maruya is getting really old and Paige is extremely reliable.

5SSW - March 2024

5SSW World Champion - The Breaker (Sarah Taylor) [defeated Romi Yamato at Dynamo Tag 2023]

Just had a title defense against Heart Saitoh. Perfect old school storyline of monster heel vs underdog face. Only one more PPV(Queendom Parade) before Joshimania. I have 3 faces ready to battle the former LMP at the big show. The time to make a choice is coming.

5SSW All Asian Champion - Spider Isako [defeated Toku Kijmuta at Big Crush 2024]

Toku's long reign is finally over. She can move on to bigger and better things. The idea is to give Isako a nice little run and see how she does now that I'm pulling the trigger on her.

5SSW Triangle Champion - Lucy Stone-McFly [defeated Machiko Matsuda and Etsuko Arihyoshi at 5SSW Reign Supreme 2024]

This run has just begun. Even though I'm still not into the triangle title, I have to admit it helps developing/lower level workers since it's a multi-man match gimmick title. Her most recent defense was against Chiyeko Kita and Thea Davis. Mostly to kickstart a feud between Lucy and Davis.

5SSW Tag Team Champions - The Angel Alliance (Paige Croft & Yuma Maruya) [defeated Torment & Sorrow at Final Attack 2023]

Yuma Maruya just announced her retirement in three months. She's 39, so it's to be expected. This tag title run will then be her last 'hurrah' now.

Luger and Yokozuna both broke their neck and are out for over a year, Scott Hall got jailed for 3 years for dangerous driving in the middle of his first IC title reign, Bigelow got sent to rehab so I had to give his planned KOTR win to his tag partner John Tenta, it's chaos in the WWF. A physically crumbling Bret Hart is carrying the company on his back, and the women are doing fantastic too. Introduced a second women's title that Leilani Kai (kayfabe) brought over from WCW.

The Rise of WWE

Started as WCW in May 2001, now Global Wrestling Entertainment (GWE), which owns the Nitro (WCW), SmackDown (WWF), and Shockwave (ECW) brands. It's November of 2003, the morning after ECW's November to Remember 2003.

ECW World Heavyweight Champion - CM Punk (defeated Raven in a "Raven's Rules" match despite Rhino and Taz's interference)

ECW North American Heavyweight Champion - James Storm (defeated Rhino, Taz, and Sean Morley in a four-way to win the vacant title)

ECW Television Champion - Lizmark Jr. (defeated champion Mark Henry and Brian Kendrick in a three-way)

ECW Cruiserweight Champion - KENTA (defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri)

ECW World Tag Team Champions - Swinging Steele (Johnny Swinger and Race Steele; defeated champions Demolition (Crush/Brian Adams and Obliterate/Bryan Clark) and The Road Warriors in a triangle tag match)

ECW Women's Champion - Mickie James (defeated Daffney)

Also had The Hurricane defeat Chris Jericho, Devon Storm, and Kid Kash to unify the NWA Intercontinental Cruiserweight title and the NWA United States Cruiserweight title into the NWA Cruiserweight (formerly NWA World Junior Heavyweight) Championship. Also also, my new favorite young tag team of East Meets West (Hector Garza and Katsuyori Shibata) beat the Barry and Kendall Windham, and Swinging Steele successfully defended their titles against The Mamalukes (BIg Vito and Johnny the Bull) when Johnny turned heel on VIto and Guido.

Catherine Quine there. Fun.

Interesting to see the likes of Magnificent Mimi and Reggie Bennett here as well.

A tag team of Stone Cold and Dr. Death sounds way too entertaining. Especially with both being Steves.

Bret Hart really is the best there is, was and ever will be. Even doing bad physichally, he still shows up when needed.

Jan 1970 - June (Wk.1) 1974

WWWF World Heavyweight - Wahoo McDaniel

WWWF Intercontinental - The Spoiler

WWWF Light Heavyweight - Tony Parisi

WWWF World Tag Team - King Kong & The Superstar (Angelo Mosca & Billy Graham)

Jan 1970 - April (Wk.4) 1975

WWWF World Heavyweight - Bruno Sammartino (x2)

WWWF Intercontinental - Pedro Morales (x2)

WWWF Light Heavyweight - Johnny Valiant (x2)

WWWF World Tag Team - Pat Patterson & Rocky Johnson

Bruno came back from injury, unmasked The Executioner to reveal the dastardly Killer Kowalski, defeated Nick Bockwinkel, and stopped the wild Wahoo McDaniel to regain his spot as WWWF champion. Superstar Billy Graham has been hounding Sammartino for a shot and challenging Bruno with feats of strength. Larry Zbyszko and Dom DeNucci have been helping watch the champ's back by repelling attacks from Freddie Blassie's Hollywood Agency.

Pedro overcame Gary Hart and Arman Hussain's H&H Ltd to get another shot at The Spoiler win via Morales Lock.

Johnny Valiant defeated Jimmy Valiant to pick up the hot potato that is the Light Heavyweight title. Mil Mascaras is fighting his way to Johnny V.

Pat Patterson & Rocky Johnson defeated Luke & Billy Graham for the tag titles. Originally it was set to be Patterson & Ray Stevens to win their second run with the belts. Unfortunately, Ray Stevens was left go by the WWWF for his involvement in a drug ring scandal. Luckily for the WWWF the story broke the day after Patterson & Stevens lost the WWWF tag titles to Luke & Billy Graham.

After Bockwinkel's loss to a returning Bruno, Nick teamed with The Spoiler to get a shot at Rocky & Pat's belts. Bobby Heenan's meddling frustrated Bockwinkel, who explicitly requested that Heenan stay at the announcer's table. Things reached a head when Spoiler & Bockwinkel got their title shot. Both Gary Hart & Bobby Heenan's shenanigans caused a DQ loss and Nick walked off in frustration. Bockwinkel turned face and went into a blood feud with The Spoiler. Each match has resulted in a draw (submission, best of 3, classic cage). Nick has earned the respect of Bruno Sammartino in return. Now Heenan's backing Wahoo McDaniel and it looks like a run of Bockwinkel vs McDaniel is on the horizon in a battle of former WWWF World Champions.

Andre the Giant, Antonio Inoki, and Gorilla Monsoon have been headlining international tours in Mexico, Canada, Australia, Ireland, and Japan to great effect. The undercard has been booked with developmental company talents that headline that particular region in their own companies (WCW Australia, JWA, BTW Detroit, Maple Leaf, CSP, EMLL, and 50th State).

*Sadly, Shawn Michaels died after being hit by lighting several times.  He was in the middle of his second tag run with Jean Paul Levesque.  Weirdly, the day after Michaels died, Jean-Paul went on hiatus...The day after that Batista's contract expired (which was expected) but in three consecutive days Evolution has lost a major member leaving now only Randy Orton, Arnie Anderson Jr., and Tully Blanchard Jr.  He should shortly be inducted into the HOI.

I'm halfway through my second year with NYCW, and here's where the title belts stand as of now.

NYCW Empire: Animal Harker

After he left BCG, I had Animal full-time and wanted to make the most of his abilities. He won the title from Tennessee William after a lengthy feud between the two, and now I'm angling to build him up as a powerful champion, and I'm hoping for him to bring some big matches to build up the title's prestige.

NYCW King Of New York: Animal Harker

I reworked King Of New York to be a two-night tournament, where the winner gets not only the tournament trophy, but also a shot at the Empire Title at the next major show. Animal winning the tournament and beating Tennessee for the title was the climax of their feud, and I'm already scouting out potential winners for next year's tournament.

NYCW Tag Team: Muscle Crushers (Richie Riggins and Dominic DeGraff)

A team that I originally made on a while, Richie and Dom have proven to be a fantastic pair and they are currently half a year into their title run. They have become the highlights of the division, especially with Brooklyn's Finest on a cooldown and me forgetting about the LA Stars for a little while. However, I have a plan to build up the LA Stars before a big feud between the two duos. I think that RIchie and Dom will be teaming together for a long time.

NYCW Tri-State Regional: Sal DiMeo

Sal is easily head and shoulders above the rest of his faction. While Marino, Luca, and Vito are still mostly wrestling on the preshow, Sal is on the verge of moving into the main event, especially as Larry Vessey's handpicked protege. I think that once Sal's reign with this belt is over, it may be time to push him up to the main event.

COTT World Heavyweight: Mace Mueller

After it was announced that Mace was leaving DIW, I snapped him up on a whim and haven't looked back. Mace has been doing incredible things for the company, quickly being embraced by the fans after winning his first feud against Brutus Milano. Even though he's back to working DIW dates again now, he's pretty entrenched in the NYCW machine, and his contract was a risk that has paid off big time.

5SSW June 2024

5SSW World Champion - MAYA [defeated The Breaker at Joshimania 29]

She has been Maruya's successor in this game. At 32, she has plenty in the tank to help out before the next big thing arrives.

5SSW All Asian Champion - Spider Isako [defeated Toku Kijmuta at Big Crush 2024]

Not much to say about Isako's reign yet. She defended against Toku Kijmuta at Joshimania as they are currently feuding and have been since the tour before Big Crush. Some youngsters helped Isako retain by attacking Kijmuta during their Joshimania match and this storyline has been progressing smoothly as of now with acceptable heat.

5SSW Triangle Champion - "The charismatic vacuum" Rika Tsujimura [defeated Lucy Stone-McFly and Simony Sentinel at Joshimania 29]

Another one of my pet projects. Tsujimura has been a tag team champion before and I'm experimenting putting singles gold and grooming her for a main event run. Too bad her personality type will make her a difficult main eventer if she succeds there.

5SSW Tag Team Champions - The Miyoshi sisters (Emiko Miyoshi and Shiromi Miyoshi) [defeated The Angel Alliance at Wrestle Challenge 16]

The best babyface tag team in 5SSW and tailor made for high spots matches being a luchador(Emiko) and a technician flyer(Shiromi). They hold the 5 highest rated tag team matches in my company since the beggining of the game. Sadly, Emiko has been somewhat injury prone so they usually have shorter reigns with the belts.
