Booking is awful and needs to be fixed immediately.

There has been major discussion about this, but none on the front page. It is the number 1 issue plaguing this game right now, imo.

 

Booking arrows need to go. It's slow and cumbersome. You cannot even keep track of what you are moving as the text is so small and far away from the arrow. Drag and drop booking needs to be implemented here. Or, use the 2016 style.

 

Make matches a different color from angles. If color cannot be used, use some designation to make it easy to differentiate between the two. Maybe default matches to be in all caps. Also, the match/angle designation under the "Type" is too far away for it to be useful.

I was someone who wanted the arrows gone but after playing the game for several weeks now I do agree with jwt13 , you do get used to it and it is really very easy and simple to use and work with.

This. Just because it's possible that some people "get used to it" doesn't mean that it's better. It's still bad.

I agree with all of this. I'm used to it, it's still massively annoying compared to the 2016 system though.

Adam is currently exclusively taking care of the tech support forum and everything that pops up there (because most of that stuff is actually game-breaking). He'll respond to the suggestions once the game is stable enough to allow him to do so. I absolutely agree that the booking needs to be changed and I'm confident that Adam will take care of it in some way, but for now we need to be patient.

I don't know why drag and drop would be impossible. We can do it for booking workers into matches....

 

Might require a UI overhaul but I agree it is finiky to get the matches in the right order.

 

What I like to do is put the match I want to get into position at some ridiculous time. 100 minutes. Then it is really easy to follow that big number to where it needs to go in the card before changing the time length back to what it should be.

There should indeed be an option to do it like drag'n'drop booking. I assume the problem will be that there will be players who book a trashload of segments and won't be able to anymore with this sort of system.</p>

I would love drag and drop to move segments. I can see why it could be a lot more complicated than simply dragging a piece of text from one list to another. More points of data. Would be so cool to do though.

You might find it very easy and simple to use, but imagine booking an 8 hour event and you have to click the arrows all the way up to the main event because you wanted to add something. Tedious.

In all seriousness, it’s probably quicker to go to preferences and change it so you add your segment at the end of the show just for that segment.

 

Again, this is an annoying fix, but it works ok.

Same here, only thing from keeping me calling the game great. Booking tends to take much longer and the arrow system drives me crazy and is not very user friendly. Hope it will be addressed in one of the future patches.

 

Also I would love in the bookings screen for title matches to be highlightes in yellow, like in the roster section the titleholders are as well.

But I also tend to book the show opening and the show ending and then fill in the rest a lot of the time, so either way I'm clicking those annoying little arrows a lot.</p>
