BHK1978 Posted June 6, 2020 Share Posted June 6, 2020 Hi everyone, while I have been living in sequester over the last couple of months I have been watching the web base reality show sequester. The show is basically a game where people are voted out each round. Every round has different twists that will impact how the voting process will work for that particular round. After a certain amount of time (depending on the number of players) the game will enter the jury phase of the game. At that point, any player who has been eliminated will make up the jury. The members of the jury will decide the winner of the game between the final two. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone would like to try a GDS version of the game. I cannot really replicate the game exactly on this site, but I can make a version of the game. All strategy will have to take place out in the open in full view of all the other players and the audience. In the actual game, players can go from room to room but that is just not possible to do on this site. This game will have elements of Mafia in it, which would probably make it easier for former mafia players to play. You would not be required to have played mafia prior to this as the rules will never be too hard to follow. I am not sure if there is any interest in this. If there is but people might not understand what they are getting into I can post the rules for round one (Not much of a spoiler, just so people can get a better understanding of how the game could be played). If there is no interest in this game then we can just allow it to fall to the ash heap of the site. I am thinking twelve players would be a nice minimum (I am not sure I could get that many) but I guess I could swing it with as few as say five. I could also use a co-mod for the game as well if anyone is interested. Someone who could help with vote counts and maybe ideas for round rules. I have some basic ideas but without knowing how many players could possibly be in the game I cannot make concrete rules for later rounds yet. So yeah, if anyone is interested you are more than welcome to join. If nobody is interested then that will be that. Player List: 1. Destiny 2. michgcs 3. franticloser 4. ShibataHeadbutt 5. I will send out private messages to everyone informing them that the game will begin. From there, as per the rules of the first round, I will go on wheeldecide.com and input the names on the wheel. Whoever is chosen by the wheel will be the first Immune player. Seeing how we have five, the first three eliminated from the game will make up the jury. The other two players will be the final two. Notes: Okay I think the rules for this round are pretty simple, that being said if there is anything that is not clear just ask me in the thread and I will do my best to clarify it. There will be no time limit on this round as it has to end with four people safe and one up for elimination. From this point forward I will not have much to post in the thread as it is your game you will decide the outcome. I will post the results of the magic wheel in my next post and the game will begin from there. I hope everyone enjoys themselves and good luck! Okay Leion, you now must decide who you would like to give Immunity to. Immune Players: Leion Non-Immune Players: Destiny, franticloser, michgcs, ShibataHeadbutt Leion, once you select a name for safety, could you please add them to the list of Immune players and remove them from the above list of non-immune players? That is how we will keep the game going because I usually get online around 11pm EST, so the round might come to an end while I am not online. Will there be a new thread or will we stick to this one?
