EMLL: Heroes and Villians

In 2012, El Bandido set up a place for the greatest warriors from all around the world to come and fight, to prove who truly is the most powerful being on Earth. However, in 2017, it all came out that El Bandido created this place to defend the Earth from the multiverse as many of the people who had come to prove themselves were actually warriors from other verses trying to take over the multiverse and Bandido had set up a way for the Earth (or EarthVerse as it’s known) to protect itself from these invading forces. These verses were revealed to be The Dark Universe, Hellmouth and The Kingdom of Blood, however, these are the only universes we have seen and many more may be waiting for their opportunity to strike. With this came the power rings. The rings give their holders powers that they would not previously have. However, the most important of all, the Campeonato del Mundo is the most important of all titles, as if the belt is held for two years, the prevailing warrior will allow the verse that the warrior represents to invade EarthVerse and conquer it, joining it to their universe. If the warrior represents EarthVerse, they will seal EarthVerse’s protection for the next one thousand years.

The Council

Subsequently, the warriors of EarthVerse created The Council as a way to find a way to protect the EarthVerse. They needed a protector and found one, Captain Lucha. Joined by many of the heroes who were born here, but also the many warriors stuck here, using it as a temporary home as they find a way to get back to their verse. The Captain now leads EarthVerse’s forces against their enemies, but only time will tell what the fate of EarthVerse will be.

Campeonato del Mundo

The Campeonato del Mundo holds a lot of power in EMLL. He hosts the tournament, allowing him to set up fights and showdowns between fighters, forcing their enemies to do things that they may not want to or stacking the deck against them. It also protects the holder from the power of the rings.However, it’s main purpose is to crown a champion and if the belt is held for two years, the prevailing warrior will allow the verse that the warrior represents to invade EarthVerse and conquer it, joining it to their universe. If the warrior represents EarthVerse, they will seal EarthVerse’s protection for the next one thousand years.

The Ring of Chaos

The Ring of Chaos allows the user to control a target or inflict intense rage on a target. How powerful these powers are pertain to how powerful the holder is, that being said even the most powerful of beings won’t be able to hold other powerful beings under the rings spells for long, while if a person being controlled is able to break the spell themselves, also lessons the power of the ring, it’s kind of complicated.

The Ring of Life

The Ring of Life allows the user to use one wish so that all it’s endeavours come true to achieve that wish. This only works once. It also allows the user to return them self to full power by simply putting it on. It is also fought for in a fatal four way, where each verse (EarthVerse. KOB, Dark Verse, Hellmouth) choose a champion for them to win it.

The Ring of Destiny

This Ring allows to user to challenge for the Campeonato del Mundo. This only works once.

Moreno: Here we are again, Captain Lucha has brought balance back to life in EMLL as he was crowned Campeonato Del Mundo at The Destiny Crisis. We have a champ who'll protect us.

Bandido: It does feel great to see the belt wrapped around Lucha's waist again. However, what I learned was when you won it, you had a line of challengers waiting to take it from you.

Delgado: What the? You were one of the biggest cheats this place ever saw.

Bandido: Yeah, everything I did was to protect this universe. I'm not proud of everything I did, some things keep me up at night, but do not get this wrong, I did it to protect this place. That you can be sure of.

Moreno: That mantle has now passed to Captain lucha, tonight he faces former champion Demon King, let's see he can keep the belt around his waist and keep us feeling safe.

The council meets as they sit around a round table.

Captain Lucha:

The meeting has begun. Firstly, I must ask Cyclops if the Prophesy has come?

Cyclops:

No. I know it's coming, but it has not arrived.

Lucha:

Very well. Dolphin Master, have you changed your stance on bringing some warriors back from your home verse?

Dolphin Master:

I have not. I have been here for many years, I have been stuck here. I cannot force my kind to come here and fight your war. I, however, will help you until I must use my Ring of Life to return home.

Lucha:

I respect your decision. Aprendiz, what's your status?

Aprendiz:

Blue Wolf's training continues. His importance has been foreseen and I will make sure that he will be ready when his time comes.

Lucha:

Very good. Pyromaniac, our back up plan?

Pyromaniac:

Destroying the other verse's is a plan I came up with as our last resort. It may be overtly dangerous, but it could be incredibly effective. Except in Hellmouth of course, it could easily survive my pyrotechnics.

Lucha:

It's worse case scenario, Pyro. We want to avoid that, and with the Campeonato Del Mundo wrapped around my waist we can be sure EarthVerse is safe for the time being. What about the Time Corps?

Rey Soldado:

We are continuing to monitor Earth's enemies.

Lucha:

And Hijo del Vigilante?

Soldado:

We can't find him. He's found a way to jump from Verse to Verse though unconventional means, this means he's difficult to track but we have a trail to follow. We just don't know how many steps behind him we are.

Lucha:

Very well, keep us updated. Zebra Man, how are the mortals holding up?

Zebra Man:

Pretty much the same as always, supporting you and... cowering in fear.

Lucha:

Well tell them we are doing our utmost to secure their protection.

Zebra:

Yeah, them hearing it for the twentieth time isn't going to ease their worries.

Lucha:

Do you share these sentiments?

Zebra:

Well.. No, I guess not. I may be mortal like them, but I've seen you all in action. They haven't. I'm basically sitting around a table with gods and meta humans fighting gods and meta humans, I'm here for numbers more than anything.

Lucha:

We appreciate you being here, Zebra Man. However, we all have assignments for tonight that we must complete. Meeting adjourned.

Moreno: Death's Head wants Dolphin Master's ring to bring back to the Kingdom, tonight he must beat the Time Corps Rey Soldado to get a shot.

Bandido: It's two fold though, he ensured Lucha that if he lost, the Time Corps could arrest him for his many crimes.

Delgado: Pfft, this place has gone soft, we need more people like Death's Head. Maybe we could use with the kind of direction that the Kingdom of Blood could bring us.

Bandido: I'm pretty sure you'd be first on their sacrificing list.

It's a brawl. Both men are powerful and throw vicious strikes. Death's Head wants Blood. He starts hammering the head of Soldado. It's effective initially but Soldado uses his training to counter. Soldado is powerful but Death's Head is no easy arrest, being deceptively quick. Soldado goes for power but Death's Head turns it around Guillotina Power (Leg Drop).

Soldado learns from his mistakes and uses Death's Head's aggression against him. He likes the violence, but it doesn't help him as Soldado uses all counters to Death's Head's ultra aggression and it cost him. Brazo Largo de la Ley (Short Arm Clothesline).

It's the final round and both men are fatigued. They brawl still, trading blows. Death's Head goes all out, while Soldado tries to conserve his energy. Soldado takes his offence but it isn't doing as much as he'd like. Death's Head is losing stamina, here's Soldado's chance. He pounces but Death's Head fights and claws, he scratches Soldado's eye. He's dazed.

Death's Head picks up the prone Soldado and smashes him back into the canvas with a POWERBOMB!!!!!!

Delirium comes up from behind them.

Aprendiz:

I assume this is your doing, what have you doing?

Delirium:

I am mentally connected to the Ring of Chaos, I can do what it does, though it does take a lot of strength. Now, give me Blue Wolf. I need him to unleash chaos that will finally give me the Ring that I desire.

Aprendiz:

I will not give you Blue Wolf. You're going to have to fight me to get to him.

Delirium:

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Moreno: Delirium thinks he can just take EarthVerse's saviour.

Delgado: And so he should, he has his own agenda.

Bandido: What does he want him for?

Delgado: That doesn't matter, he just wants him.

Moreno: He won't get him anyway.

Aprendiz wants to teach a lesson. He let's Delirium dictate the pace, he dodges and counters his offense. Delirium charges in trying to cause chaos, but it goes against him and Aprendiz small packages him for the first fall.

Delirium is angry. He attacks Aprendiz with rage filled strikes. However, he used his mind control and his strength is waning. Aprendiz waits for him to be completely tired and Delirium becomes dizzy...

Aprendiz hits The Whiplash (Top Rope Flip Neckbreaker) and Delirium has made a terrible mistake.

Malefic attacks, but Lucha dodges.

Lucha:

What are you doing here, Malefic?

Malefic:

I am an assassin for the Dark Universe. You are the almighty Captain Lucha. The leader of the defenders of EarthVerse, just you imagine the reward if not only I brought my ruler, Samael, you're head but also the Campeonato del Mundo EMLL. I would be his right hand man.

Lucha:

This isn't Samael's doing. You know you are not ready to take me on. You're being manipulated.

Malefic:

Manipulated? No. I'm an assassin, I'm bringing your head to my ruler. That's my job and I will make sure you will never spoil The Dark Universe's plan again.

Delgado: Look, I'm all for absolutely destroying Captain Lucha, but Malefic may have bitten off more than he can chew here.

Moreno: For once, we agree. At least on the second part.

Bandido: Something's not right here, what's your plan, Malefic?

Malefic uses his dark energy to try and overpower Lucha, but that won't work as Lucha draws power from the aura of EarthVerse's core. Now, Malefic tries a more direct means of combat, but again Lucha is too powerful, he easily defends against the attacks. Lucha quickly hits the Mexican Death (Top Rope Double Footed Stomp).

Malefic attacks again and Lucha uses defensive tactics. He knows Malefic is being manipulated and doesn't want to hurt him. Malefic eventually tires himself out.

Lucha finishes it quickly, Mexican Death (Top Rope Double Footed Stomp) and Malefic slinks away.

Moreno: Lucha has made the decision that if La Bestia Morada beats Screamer tonight, Anarchist's claim that his soldier Morada cannot compete in the Ring of Chaos rumble next month will be made void. However, Morada will have to enter number one.

Bandido: Well, it's certainly the best of a bad situation for Morada. He broke the curse the Ring of Chaos has on him, but now he has to break the curses of Anarchist.

Delgado: Regardless of what happens, Anarchist wins. He either can't enter or enters first. There's no way Morada wins it.

Moreno: That may be so, but I think Morada might just settle for getting his hands on Anarchist.

Bandido: I'd like to see that.

Morada's resolve cannot be denied, his link with the Ring of Chaos drives him. Screamer tries to use his ultrasonic screams to take down Morada, but that isn't working. Morada is unstoppable. Beast Bomb (Gutwrench Powerbomb).

Morada keeps ahold of the Beast Bomb (Gutwrench Powerbomb) and hits it again. Morada waste's no time.

Charron, however, comes through a portal and interrupts him.

Cyclops:

Charron:

Simple, Samael wishes you to stand in front of him for your crimes against your universe. Time to come home.

Cyclops:

I refuse. I will protect EarthVerse from Samael as well as any other threats. This is my home now.

Charron:

Well, I gotta bring you in. By force if I have to.

Cyclops:

And why do you listen to Samael? You are merely a portal guardian, you do not serve him.

Charron:

It was my life force.... or yours.

Moreno: Cyclops may have betrayed his home Verse, but without him, we are blind.

Delgado: He deserves to be judged, he went against his Verse.

Bandido: It's the Dark Universe. He did what he had to to save EarthVerse. Much like how I had to.

Delgado: He's a criminal.

Moreno: Well, not here he isn't.

Cyclops can see all of Charrons attacks coming. He dodges but gets hit by a uncharacteristic attack. Charron sets a pace that even Cyclops can't see into the future to dodge and eventually overwhelms him. Fisherman's Suplex.

However, it ain't over yet. Cyclops uses his all seeing eye to get the upper hand. Charron cannot keep up the pace to overwhelm him, that means trouble. Small package.

They continue their battle. Charron wants to end it as fast as he can because he knows what Cyclops can do. He can't put him away. Sweep by Cycops, Charron's down.

High Fly Eye (Top Rope Diving Headbutt) and Cyclops escapes.

Lucha arrives in Hellmouth via portal. He wonder why Cyclops would summon him here of all places, but Cyclops is nowhere to be found.

Out of nowhere, Screamer attacks. Lucha is surprised and Screamer gets a nasty shot in on him, but them Lucha deals with the Time Stream demons and knocking him out. Lucha is wary now.

Lucha:

Anarchist, I know you are here!

Anarchist then comes out. Lucha is hurt.

Lucha:

Why would you attack me? What can you gain?

Anarchist:

Gain? It's what I'm losing. I probably won't have the Ring of Chaos for much longer, I need to act. I want power, I want to cause anarchy and the Chaos Ring.. it's nice, it got me a time stream demon after all, but it's nothing compared to the Campeonato del Mundo EMLL.

Lucha:

You want to host the tournament?

Anarchist:

Of course, imagine the power, the chaos, the anarchy. That Screamer may have failed me earlier, but now it did what it had to hurt you and now it's my time to rule this tournament.

Lucha is defensive defending his new weak spot caused by Screamer. Anarchist creates anarchy, trying to throw Lucha off his game, but he can't get a clear shot at the weak spot, Anarchist is concentrating too much on it, he gets caught. Mexican Death (Top Rope Double Footed Stomp)

Lucha power is draining, Anarchist takes advantage. He attacks at all angles, creating an anarchic pace. Lucha can't stand much more of this. Anarchist could just do it.... NO! Lucha won't let it happen and knows he must end it now. Lucha draws power from the aura of EarthVerse's core and......

Mexican Death (Top Rope Double Footed Stomp) and Anarchist is defeated but...

Anarchist isn't done. He might not leave with the title, but Lucha will pay. Lucha kneels, he's fought twice, it's taken a lot out of him. He can't protect himself...

Cyclops arrives just in time. Anarchist flees and Cyclops helps Lucha up.

Cyclops:

Captain, you are hurt, we must get you back to heal.

Cyclops:

Dolphin Master and Zebra Man are sitting at a bar. Zebra Man has a beer, Dolphin Master has nothing. They are talking.

Master:

I... I just don't get it. He says he respects my decision, yet he asks me every time the council meets. I can't bring my kind to fight his war, plus, even if I did, how would I contact them, I can't use the Ring of Life to get back here after I get home.

Zebra:

Hey man, I hear ya. Look, at least you can actually help to protect EarthVerse. I'm literally just a guy. I wear this mask to protect my family, I can't fight these gods, and demons and whatever else thats out there. I'm basically useless.

Master:

You are far from useless my friend, you listen to my grievances, that mean a lot to me.

Zebra:

I know. I'll always listen to you, buddy. I just wish.... I could do more.

Master:

And I wish I could down some beers and get drunk like you can to drown my sorrows, but that wouldn't be a good idea either. You are doing more than enough my friend. We don't need you getting hurt.

Zebra:

Yeah maybe. So... beer does nothing to you?

Master:

Well, I'm a fish so unless you got some Coral Barrier Reef extract, I won't be getting intoxicated anytime soon.

Zebra:

You can extract stuff from the Coral Barrier Reef. I don't think...

Zebra Man suddenly collapses.

Master:

Master:

Well, I'm sorry to disappoint but you won't be getting this ring... Oh and Zebra Man is twice the being you are.

Dolphin Master (37) v Boriken Love Machine Jr. (40)

Delgado: If Boriken Love Machine gets the ring, he might do me a favour and use his wish to send Dolphin Master back to his home planet.

Moreno: Okay, one, Dolphin Master isn't an alien and two, I think BLM probably has something much more despicable in mind.

Bandido: He probably wants to get an entourage for himself or something ridiculous like that.

Delgado: Oh please, you only wish you were as ravishing as him.

Bandido: I hosted this tournament twice, I think I've proven I don't need to be ravishing to be successful.

Dolphin Master is quick and even Boriken Love Machine can't keep up. He attacks in every way he can but BLM starts to manipulate. He uses his power over Zebra Man to make him walk out of the bar, it's not safe out there. Master quickly redirects him back to safety but it costed him. Love Gun (Falling Side Slam)

Master secures Zebra, and puts a hurt on BLM. BLM tries to get away, he can't. Master is focused. Dolpinisher (Cannonball)

BLM needs control and he uses Zebra to attack Master. It works initially but Master is able to redirect Zebra's attacks back at BLM. BLM can't concentrate, his hold over Zebra Man fades, it's confused him.....

Dolphinisher (Cannonball) and BLM is done. Zebra Man is incredibly angry at himself.

Dolphin Master (2-1)

Guerrero Muerto (57) v Snake King (51)

Moreno: Winner faces Captain Lucha next month. It's as simple as that.

Delgado: I'll take any of these guys, as long as Captain Lucha loses next month.

Bandido: Lucha has beaten both these guys, he beat Muerto for his first ever title, whoever wins, they won't have an easy task to take out Lucha.

Delgado: Have you forgotten? You're so called Captain is hurt, that'll help. Plus, he still has to face Demon King tonight.

Moreno: Lucha has been hurt before, he'll overcome it.

Muerto wants to kill, he viciously attacks but SK slithers out of trouble before he strikes. Muerto is able to use the powers of hell to get the upper hand again but SK isn't easy to deal with, he's sneaky, tricky. SK is waiting to strike but Muerto blinds him. Graveyard Shift (Inverse Russian Legsweep).

However, this also hurts Muerto, a blinded snake is dangerous. SK strikes blindly using his tongue to search out his prey. Muerto can't deal with the attacks. Snake-Bite (Wheel Barrow Face Crusher)

SK is still not quite able to see but is able to mount an offensive. It works but Muerto smokes the ring and escapes. SK uses his tongue to search out his prey.... THERE HE IS! He strikes.... Nothing. It's just a heat signature. Muerto fooled him. Graveyard Shift (Inverse Russian Legsweep)

Lucha:

I disagree. I would ask why you are here but I've a fair idea.

HDV:

Just bouncing from verse to verse picking up bounty's. You can imagine how surprised I was when I found your name up there.

Lucha:

You were?

HDV:

Not really, but the price? That was a the real happy surprise.

Lucha:

Huh, money? No surprise. However, The Time Corps will be here soon and you will be arrested.

HDV:

Well, by that time, I will be gone and your title will be mine.

Bandido: Another challenge for Lucha? What is this?

Delgado: He's not only beating him physically, he's beating his spirit.

Moreno: He's hurt, he's had two fights already. He's in trouble.

Delgado: Though you said he'd be fine? Huh, guess you don't believe in him.

Bandido: We will always be behind him, I just hope that our support is enough.

Lucha can't do much as the bounty hunter attacks the injured ribs. Lucha tries to survive, but he can't, HDV is seasoned, he knows what he has to do to get the job done. Twisting Powerbomb

HDV smirks as he knows Lucha is done. He can't fight. His resolve has brought him to this moment. However, Lucha won't go without a fight and he has to do this now. Lucha draws power from the aura of EarthVerse's core! He explodes on HDV with power. Mexican Death (Top Rope Double Footed Stomp).

Lucha is spent, he can't draw more power from the core, it has to heal. He's done. He's on his back, holding his wound. He slides on his back from an advancing HDV, this is a fight he won't survive.

Rey Soldado arrives. HDV see's him. He's not going to get the chance to win the belt, he's gotta go. HDV bails flying through a portal, Lucha survives.... just.

Soldado:

Soldado nods and reluctantly leaves, running through the portal that HDV did. Lucha lies prone and alone for a moment. He's as hurt as he's ever been.

DK:

Lucha:

You did this. It was you.

DK:

A few words of encouragement here, an anonymous tip there and you got yourself an army. It's not exactly the army I'd hoped for but we all know my past, we all know I can't remember it. Where I came from is a mystery to all and I thought I'd be able to find out where I came from and bring an army of my followers to beat you. However, this is what I have to settle with and but it seems to have done exactly what I wanted. Even better in fact. So, here I am, ready to take my prize.

Demon King won't let go of the hold, and that's perfectly legal. He's stretching his neck and his injured rib. If Lucha can't survive, he loses. Lucha is fading. And fading. He's... He's.....

What the? Zebra Man is here. Demon King releases the hold. and stands up to Zebra.... what could this puny human do.... He pushes him...... right into a small package...... HE DID IT! LUCHA DID IT!!!! I guess this is why Demon King wanted an army.

DK leaves through a portal back to his, lair bringing Zebra Man with. Lucha reaches out trying to save his friend. However, he is too hurt and they're gone as Lucha passes out.

EMLL's always a good time, and this was a great first show- easy to follow and introduced a lot of different characters.

It's comes across as long, but that may be because it's littered with graphics I made last summer so maybe it isn't as long as I think. As you can see this is very Mortal Kombat influenced, though I feel it's not a complete copy of it, but does use a some lore.
