Ok guys we want your true and 100% unvarnished opinion on this:

In the IWC it is no secret lately that WWE has become pretty unpopular and there is a perception of a negative opinion of the company now. And largely of their own doing (bad creative, releasing good people, thinking Vince lost his touch, etc).

When we launched this diary, we noticed that there are not many (if any) WWE diaries on here. And we thought it could be worth the risk of so-called "WWE fatigue" to launch it.

We have tried to be active with you guys and take sort of a "WWE if they were not being jerks" approach to this. But we want to check in to see what the vibe of this community is towards WWE - the real life company and if this diary is being viewed under that lense.

Our passion is to write compelling wrestling stories with our fun take on the industry. But it does not need to be with WWE. So, please honest:

Given the current environment and feelings about the business, is a diary about WWE a turnoff to you?

We like the project but we don't want this to be a vanity project. So if you guys want to see us do something else, we want to give that to you. We are asking for your brutally honest take here.

Personally, I'm still enjoying this diary and don't conflate real life wwe with the diary. But I accept I may not be in the majority. So it has no impact on my enjoyment and I'd hope it continues.

Apologies I'm behind on my fan posts was away and then busy. If you want I'm happy to resume them as complementary posts, but equally happy to stop if detracting to the diary in any way.

I like this is the only think i read here on GDS, this is not real life and you guys put a loat of work into this. Keep up with the great work and i am really excited to see what you guys come up next. And people who talk about WWE is the same guys who talk about TNA in 2010, AEW will have the same fate as them. And one more think New York Yankees are hated because they are the best, WWE is hated because they are the best.

SmackDown opens with a recap video of last week where Roman Reigns demanded to be the leader of team SmackDown at Survivor Series but with Sonya Deville telling Paul Heyman that she will pick the members of the team. The video also focuses on Paige returning and betraying Rhea Ripley to join Piper Niven.

Michael Cole & Pat McAfee welcome us to SmackDown where tonight Robert Roode will challenge Cesaro for the SmackDown United States Championship. But first they take us to a developing situation backstage.

We go to the back and see a brawl happening between The Uso’s & the SmackDown Tag Team Champions Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher. Officials rush to the area to break up the fight but it is the Tag Champs furiously screaming that they want vengeance as they are being dragged away from the fight.

<b>DOLPH ZIGGLER VS BAILEY MATTHEWS</b>

This match is being billed as sort of a reboot for the “show off” as Dolph starts dominating the competitor from NXT UK early. Dolph shows a renewed focus and fire that we haven’t seen in quite some time and shows off some scientific moves and holds before hitting his Zig Zag for the convincing 3 count.

Paige comes out with a devilish smile accompanied by her new charge Piper Niven. Niven holds open the ropes for Paige who steps in the ring with a mic.

Paige mocks poor little Rhea Ripley for being so “betrayed” by the evil and mean Paige last week. And all week long Paige has stayed silent while “trolls” on social media derided her for betraying a mentee. But that so called “mentee” sure as hell did not need Paige’s advice or help when she won the Raw Women’s Title at Wrestlemania. She sure as hell didn’t ask for Paige’s help when she fought Charlotte Flair last year at Wrestlemania. Clearly Rhea Ripley decided that she did not have time for Paige.

So what did Paige do? She made a business decision and found someone who has the same potential as Rhea Ripley, but more importantly, has the respect for Paige that Rhea Ripley clearly never had. And that person is the monster of the SmackDown Women’s Division, Piper Niven! Piper will lay waste to this entire division before taking the ultimate prize - the SmackDown Women’s Title. A title that once claimed, Piper Niven will NEVER let go of. Because Niven is just that brutal, she is just that good and Paige is just that smart.

And if poor little Rhea doesn’t like it - do something about it. Because Piper Niven is ready to fight Rhea again at...say..the Survivor Series? Let’s find out just how strong Rhea Ripley’s “brutality” actually is. Because this monster right here? She will chew Rhea up, spit her out and send Rhea back to Australia a defeated and humble woman. We’ll see you at Survivor Series.

Piper and Paige soak in the boos as a challenge has been made. Piper Niven is an exponentially more dangerous woman now that Paige is by her side. Will Rhea accept? We’re back on SmackDown after this time out.

SmackDown returns to a hype video for Rey & Dominik Mysterio showing the highlights of the Mysterios over the last year on SmackDown. The video says that The Mysterios will make their return to SmackDown soon.

We go back to last week to where Bianca Belair made her return to SmackDown and challenged Shayna Baszler for the SmackDown Women’s Title. Bianca is in action right now.

<b>BIANCA BELAIR VS MELINA</b>

As the match begins, we are told that Melina has officially signed a SmackDown contract to return to action. This is a strong back and forth match that really shows what Melina can still do and she nearly beats Bianca with the Last Call but Bianca kicks out just in the knick of time. After Melina misses a superkick, Bianca fights back and the two trade near falls before Bianca hits the KOD for the 3 count.

WINNER BY PINFALL: BIANCA BELAIR

After the match, Bianca gets on a mic and calls out Shayna Baszler for a fight. Bianca says that she knows that Shayna is back there because Baszler was spotted earlier tonight. And Bianca gave her a week to step up like a woman and accept the challenge Belair made last week. Shayna has been silent the entire week. So Shayna get out nere now…

Baszler does not come out and Bianca says that the SmackDown Women’s Champion is weak.But next week Shayna is in action and you can best believe that Bianca Belair will be there and she will get her answer one way or the other.

In the back the tag team champs, Ciampa & Thatcher, storm into SmackDown Managing Director Sonya Deville’s office. They say that they are done with the games and since The Uso’s want a fight, then a fight they will get. The champs are willing to defend the tag titles anytime any place. Sonya ponders it and says “how about next week?” The champs easily agree and the match is on. Next week on SmackDown The Uso’s will face Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship! And we’ll be back in a moment on FOX.

SmackDown returns with a promo for Raw vs SmackDown with Wrestlemania Night Two on the line at the Survivor Series. The Survivor Series will air in sixteen days on Peacock.

This match is short but competitive as both women shine more so than any match either have had so far on SmackDown. Shotzi makes a critical error when she dives to the outside but Zelina moves and Shotzi crashes to the floor. From there, Zelina owns momentum and nails a jumping DDT for the 3 count.

We go to the back where Kayla Braxton is with Paul Heyman to get Roman Reigns’ comment on the announcement that The Uso’s will get their tag team title shot next week. Paul says that the Tribal Chief is ecstatic that SmackDown is going to right the travesty of justice that occurred to the Bloodline. Paul goes to leave but Kayla wants comment on where is the SmackDown Champion because no one has seen him today. Paul looks at her with disdain and says “that is none of your business.” Kayla says rumors are that tonight we will learn who one member of the SmackDown team is beyond Roman Reigns. How does Roman feel about not getting to pick his own squad? Paul just stares blankly at her before saying “go away” and slamming the door to the locker room shut.

We cut into the arena where Drew McIntyre is in the ring and has a mic. Drew says that he understands Finn Balor’s frustrations. He understands that Finn lost because Drew made a mistake but it was a mistake in trying to defend his friend. It was not a mistake intended with malice. But what Drew will not put up with is shoving matches and backstage fights. And since Balor wants to have an issue with him, Drew calls Finn out to clear the air right now.

Finn comes out and stands in front of Drew man to man and says that he will hear Drew out but as soon as McIntyre goes to speak.....

Sami Zayn comes out and says that he does not care about the soap opera drama between Balor and McIntyre. What Sami is concerned about is the fluke that happened last week when Drew “pinned” Sami. Zayn makes all the excuses in the book even claiming that he was depressed because his BitCoin devalued. And demands another match right here and right now. Drew tells Finn that they will have to table this because Drew is ready for a fight. Drew demands a referee and Michael throws us to commercial as SmackDown works to make this match official. Don’t go anywhere.

<b>DREW MCINTYRE VS SAMI ZAYN</b>

Early on, Drew is beating the hell out of Sami who is just trying to stay in the match. Drew goes for the Claymore but Sami is able to bil to the floor but ends up right in the way of Finn Balor who has remained at the ringside area. Balor looks like he is gonna hit Sami but Sami runs back into the ring and right into a powerslam by Drew for a 2 count.

When McIntyre goes for a boot to Sami’s face, Zayn ducks and kick’s Drew right in the knee taking the Scottish Warrior down. Sami is able to start mounting an offensive attack based on the knee and keeping McIntyre on the ground. Sami punishes Drew’s leg with a half Boston crab and then drops a knee right on the back of Drew’s knee.

Sami goes for the Helluva Kick but Drew swats Sami away and when Sami charges again, Drew backdrops Zayn who lands on the floor near Finn. This time Drew gives chase as Sami shoves Balor who responds with a punch but Sami ducks and Balor decks Drew. The ref decides not to disqualify anyone, opting to give latitude. Balor doesn’t look all that upset as Sami rolls Drew into the ring. McIntyre tries to nail Sami but his knee buckles and Sami throws Drew into the corner….HELLUVA KICK. Sami covers...1...2, Sami hooks the tights….3.

WINNER BY PINFALL: SAMI ZAYN

After the match Sami celebrates like he just won the world title and high tails it out of there. Drew is furious as Finn backs up the aisle sheepishly saying that the punch was an accident. Things are definitely not settled between these two friends.

In the Gorilla Position is Kayla Braxton with the SmackDown United States Champion Cesaro who is warming up. Cesaro says that he promises to be a fighting champion for SmackDown unlike the diva Roman Reigns. And that is why he has no problem fighting Roode. But when Roode jumped Cesaro, he made it personal. So now the Swiss Superman is coming not just for a title defense but for a piece of Robert Roode’s ass. Kayla tells us not to go anywhere, when we come back the SmackDown United States Title will be our main event - Robert Roode challenges against Cesaro, NEXT.

SmackDown returns to a selfie video taken by Adam Cole. Adam says that he knows that he promised to reveal the next chapter in the Book of Cole this week, but something more important came up. We then see that he is playing a video game. Cole says that next week he promises to be on SmackDown for some Story Time with Adam Cole Bay Bay. Cole smirks and the video ends.

<b>ROBERT ROODE VS CESARO © </b>

Roode comes out alone and says to the camera “this is about me” as he prepares to fight Cesaro. The two trade scientific holds and mat based moves as the match gets underway. Cesaro scores with the 3 Amigo’s Triple Vertical Suplexes for a two count but Roode drops Cesaro on the back of his head with a top rope Backdrop for a two count of his own.

The two end up brawling after the match becomes more heated and they bail to the floor where a fight ensues. Cesaro clotheslines Roode into the audience and that is when Dolph runs out but Cesaro sees it and Ziggler has to duck the champion before he can deck him. The distraction allows Roode to slam Cesaro’s head on the guardrail and throw the champ back into the ring.

In the ring Roode dominates and scores a close fall with a brutal Lariat but the champion will not stay down. Roode goes for the Glorious DDT but Cesaro trips him, lifts up Roode into the Big Swing. After 11 rotations, Cesaro sets up for the Neutralizer but Roode rolls up the champ and hooks the ropes...1..2….Cesaro kicks out. Cesaro sends Roode into the ropes and goes for a backdrop but the challenger nails the Glorious DDT.

Cesaro gets his foot on the ropes.

Roode is frustrated while Dolph screams to stay focused. Roode goes for the DDT again but ends up being lifted into the air and hit with a European Uppercut. The champion nails the Neutralizer

WINNER BY PINFALL AND STILL SMACKDOWN UNITED STATES CHAMPION: CESARO

After the match, Cesaro celebrates his victory and then SmackDown Managing Director Sonya Deville comes out to the stage area. She is clapping for the champ and has a microphone. Sonya says that ever since he won the United States Title, Cesaro has made all of us at SmackDown proud.

Cesaro is indeed a fighting champion, delivering exceptional match after exceptional match on SmackDown and does not get the recognition or respect that he deserves for it. But that is about to change right now because at Survivor Series the SmackDown team will be captained by SmackDown World Champion Roman Reigns….but there will also be a co-captain on that team. One of equal value to Roman. And one that will make sure that the SmackDown team is all about SmackDown and not just Roman’s ego.

And that co-captain is the SmackDown United States Champion Cesaro! The arena explodes and Cesaro is thrilled. Paul Heyman comes out to the stage with his mouth hanging open in shock before protesting loudly to Sonya Deville who walks to the back to let Cesaro have his moment with Heyman giving chase.

Cesaro is on Team SmackDown and he will be the Co-Captain. Team SmackDown just got that much stronger. Good night from Indiana!

I stopped paying attention to Real life WWE when they fired Wyatt. I have no interest in giving that company attention or my time.

Your diary is not that company and I continue to read. There is a difference between Real Life and something someone is doing for fun and it shows.

You're doing great. Keep it up. :-)

I think it depends on what the potential "something else" would be. There are projects you guys could do that I would find more interesting than modern WWE as well as some that I would find less interesting.

Either way, your writing is top-notch and I will read this or anything else you do.

As we begin the show the match is in full swing. The Street Profits are in control and working over Otis with quick tags, but the big man is impossible to put down and when he finally floors Ford with a powerful clothesline it’s the Academy’s time to deal out the punishment. After several minutes Dawkins gets the hot tag and clotheslines Otis over the top rope before catching Gable as he attempts a cross body block off the second rope and delivering a powerslam. Ford makes the tag and hits a sky-high frog splash for the win.

“I know Nia’s tendencies and I had her beat at Halloween Havoc. Tonight I’ll finish that job and at Survivor Series I’ll take that title that should have been mine. Shield your eyes, there’s gonna be an eclipse tonight!”

Backstage, we see AJ Styles when Omos approaches him.

“Man, I’ve been texting you for days. When are we going to get that rematch?”

AJ gives a slight nod. “I know it’s something we want but right now I have to focus on being the heart and soul of Team Raw.”

Omos looks annoyed but AJ taps him on the arm. “Don’t worry big man, I have to go meet with the team and then we’ll talk about getting our belts back.”

AJ walks off, but Omos still scowls.

<b>ALEXA BLISS, CARMELLA, AND TAMINA VS DANA BROOKE, NAOMI, AND NATALYA</b>

The heels control the early flow of the match, keeping Dana in their corner but Naomi makes a blind tag on an irish whip and soon it’s Carmella who’s on the receiving end of the punishment but it doesn't last long before Tamina is in and recaptures the momentum but when Natalya tags in and the former partners are face to face, Tamina tags out. Natalya is too focused on her to see the attack by Carmella but quickly reverses an irish whip and hits a running knee lift quickly into a sharpshooter. Naomi and Dana keep Bliss and Tamina at bay but right before Carmella is about to tap, two new people rush the ring.

The IIConics attack Natalya causing the disqualification and when Dana and Naomi see what’s happening it allows Bliss and Tamina to mow them down.

WINNERS BY DISQUALIFICATION: DANA BROOKE, NAOMI, AND NATALY

It’s five on three and it’s a beatdown until the crowd pops a little as the cavalry arrives.

Nikki A.S.H. and Aliyah run down and now it’s five on five. The baby faces fight back and clear the ring. As the five heels regroup on the outside, a group of officials run down and force them to the back as the heroes urge them to come back and fight.

Jaxson Ryker is standing alone backstage when we hear a loud Texan accent.

“Ryker!”

JBL storms up to him. “That so-called apology last week frankly sucked! Now you’re going to give…...me……”

JBL slows down as Ryker turns a dead eyed stare towards the Raw Owner.

“Uh, well, I mean you gave it your best shot. I’ll...I’ll be talking to you.”

JBL turns and exits the scene as Ryker’s dead eyes follow him out of sight.

<b>SETH ROLLINS VS GRAN METALIK</b>

[bRollins takes Metalik for granted early on and it costs him as the high flyer hits him with a flurry of offense from all angles, sending Rollins to the outside to regroup. Metalik presses his advantage with a suicide dive through the ropes but Rollins moves and he crashes into the barrier. Rollins, like a shark smelling blood in the water moves in for the kill and from then on controls the match finally ending it with a curbstomp.

Coming back from the commercial break Team Raw is still backstage when we see Scarlett point ahead of them. The camera pans over to see…..

Seth Rollins sees them coming and puts on his biggest smile but the group walks right past him to two other individuals….

The group walks up to King Nakamura and Rick Boogs.

Lashley puts his hands up to defuse any tension. “After much deliberation we’ve decided that you would be the perfect addition to our team at Survivor Series.”

Boogs looks giddy. “Oh man that’d be awesome! I accept!”

AJ looks disgusted. “Not you, you walking RIck Springfield cover band. We want him.” He turns to Nakamura. “You and I know each other real well and I know you’re the man for the job.”

Nakamura appears to think it over then nods, shaking hands with his new team members. Saxon begins speculating on who could be the last man chosen while Graves points out the Architect is five feet away.

We’re shown a replay of Raw Team Captain Bobby Lashley offering his fourth spot to King Nakamura, who accepted.

Ember starts off fast like she did at Halloween Havoc and for a few moments NIa is stunned but when Ember charges her in the corner Nia fires out, bulldozing her. Nia punishes her for a few minutes during which time the crowd begins to chant for Becky Lynch which does nothing but annoy Jax. When Nia goes for a leg drop Ember moves and Nia lands right on her tailbone. Ember takes over with kicks which keep Jax down on the mat before hitting a springboard moonsault but she doesn’t go for the cover. She climbs to the top for an Eclipse and she nearly hits it but Nia is too powerful and catches her, not letting her deliver the stunner at the end of the move. Nia shifts her and hits a Rock Bottom for the win.

But that’s not all. It seems like the Raw Women’s Division is ready to explode so we’ll let them take out their frustrations in a ten woman tag match. Alexa Bliss, Carmella, the IIconics, and Tamina will take on Naomi, Dana Brooke, Nikki A.S.H., Aliyah, and Natalya.

These two show some mutual respect at the beginning but then it’s all business. Priest and Lee lay into each other with everything they have, holding nothing back. Lee gets a two count following a powerslam but Priest kicks out and heads to the outside to clear his head but Lee follows. When they begin brawling, Priest sends Lee into the post and with the big man stunned he looks to hit the Reckoning on the outside when he’s suddenly attacked from behind.

Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez attack Priest and Lee as the referee calls for the bell.

Crews and Azeez waste no time. They use their sneak attack to attack both men. With Lee still down, Crews and Azeez put Priest through the announcer’s table with a double powerbomb. When they turn around Lee has gotten to his feet and he’s pissed. He holds his own verses them both before Crews hits a chop block from behind and when Lee goes down to his knees, Azeez boots him in the face, knocking him flat.

What had been a great match has turned into a disaster and from his smile Apollo Crews loves it.

Given the current environment and feelings about the business, is a diary about WWE a turnoff to you?

Far from it. As you've said there are few wwe diaries here these days and I have to say for me at least its refreshing to see a diary where WWE is booked... Like WWE. I think almost every other wwe diary I've ever read here is just a rebranded AEW/WCW/TNA or its wwe but they sign all the indy darlings and depush the guys who would actually get a push in WWE. I really dig it and I like your presentation too

Later tonight, Shayna Baszler will be on hand to answer Bianca Belair’s challenge for Survivor Series and SmackDown Managing Director Sonya Deville has promised to reveal the rest of Team SmackDown. We also will hear from Adam Cole who is in the building tonight, but if any of you caught the news by Sonya Deville on her Twitter handle this week - SmackDown kicks off, per the request of both teams, with the SmackDown Tag Team Title match between The Uso’s & Ciampa/Thatcher. Let’s go to the ring where both teams are ready to start the match.

This is a fast paced and back and forth match early but soon the champs have control and really look like the Uso’s are gonna lose this one until Jimmy thumbs Thatcher in the eye and then the Uso’s start dominating the match. The Uso’s deploy classic heel tag team strategy by keeping Thatcher from his partner and enticing Tommaso to come in which distracts the ref so that the challengers can cheat. But this strategy does not work as they cannot put Thatcher down.

The tide turns when Thatcher sends Jey face first into the corner and drops him with a German Suplex. This allows Tommaso to tag in and the former NXT Champion is a house of fire; taking care of both challengers. Before long Ciampa hits Project Ciampa on Jimmy while Jey is battling Thatcher on the floor. This brings Heyman scrambling down to the ring and onto the apron to distract the ref.

Roman Reigns slides in with the SmackDown World Title and blasts Tommaso Ciampa in the back of the head and then slides out of the ring before the ref can ever see anything. Jimmy turns Ciampa over and covers...1….2...3.

SmackDown returns and we are in the hallway where Roman and the Uso’s are celebrating as they walk into their locker room. Sonya Deville is waiting and seething and looks Paul in the eyes and says “congratulations...but the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions will now defend those titles in nine days...against War Raiders.” Heyman looks like he lost money as Deville walks off.

This match is all about showing just how pissed off Rhea Ripley is as she attacks Mandy Rose (promoted as a SmackDown try out) as soon as the bell sounds and shows a vicious edge. Soon the Riptide is nailed in what is essentially a squash match for an emphatic pinfall.

Adam Cole is making his entrance to the ring as SmackDown comes back on the air. We go back to Halloween Havoc where Jeff Hardy lost to Adam Cole and see how Hardy ended up entering the concussion protocol after the match with AC. Cole asks who is ready for Story Time with Adam Cole Bay Bay?

Cole says that the story this week, boys and girls, is all about how Adam Cole will shock the system and prove that he is the future of this franchise. And what better way to do that than to be on Team SmackDown at the Survivor Series. Because to the winner of that match goes the spoils….namely the right for the franchise winner to be the featured franchise of Wrestlemania and get the coveted 2nd night spot. And on that night, Adam Cole will headline Wrestlemania with the entire world watching in awe.

So that’s the story this week and Adam Cole is not asking Sonya Deville to put him on Team SmackDown, toots listen up: Adam Cole is telling ya that he is on Team SmackDow…

The SmackDown United States Champion comes out to the stage and says that it is amusing to him that Adam Cole thinks that he can just call his shots around here. Clearly Cole thinks that he is still some big fish in the small pond of NXT, but this is SmackDown. And Cesaro is the United States Champion and the Co-Captain of Team SmackDown at Survivor Series. No, Adam cannot just demand to be on the team. But maybe he can be on team SmackDown if he earns it...like in a non-title match with Cesaro...tonight.

Cole says not good enough but this brings out Sonya Deville who says that is a terrific idea and that is good enough. And that match is now made. Tonight Adam Cole will fight Cesaro in a non title no disqualification and no count outs match. That way Cole cannot weasel his way out of this. And if Adam Cole wins? He is on Team SmackDown.

Cole is furious at this news but opportunity awaits Adam Cole. Later tonight, no count outs, no dq’s with a spot on Team SmackDown at stake. What a big match to come. Don’t go anywhere, when we come back Finn Balor is in action, NEXT on FOX.

This is an incredibly fast and athletic match that spawns a commercial time out in the middle of it just as Dolph Ziggler takes control. When we come back from break, Dolph has Finn in a Crossface and is wrenching hard on Balor’s neck. Balor is able to roll backwards and out of the Crossface and kicks Dolph dead in the face. The two trade near falls until Dolph goes for the Zig Zag but Finn holds onto the ropes. Balor then does Slingblade and goes up top to nail Coup De Gras for the pinfall.

WINNER BY PINFALL: FINN BALOR

SmackDown returns to an argument backstage between Balor and Drew. Yet again a shoving match is going on between the two as Balor resent’s Drew for Halloween Havoc and Drew is done apologizing. Officials rush in, including Sonya Deville who says that this has gone on far enough. And she tells Drew and Finn that they have to get together because they are now on Team SmackDown in 9 days at Survivor Series and if these two cost SmackDown Wrestlemania Night 2, there will be hell to pay. She orders Drew & Finn to learn to work together next week on SmackDown when they team together against the Dirty Dawgs.

This is another SmackDown try out match for two NXT competitors and they do pretty well as a team going against the more experienced Benjamin and Alexander. Atlas in particular shines as he drops Cedric with a flurry of throws before Benjamin saves the day. Eventually though, Stallion falls victim to a superkick by Shelton into a DDT by Cedric for the pinfall.

WINNERS BY PINFALL: SHELTON BENJAMIN AND CEDRIC ALEXANDER

Shayna mocks Bianca and says that losers don’t get to demand matches. Shayna goes to walk off when she is blasted from behind by Bianca Belair. The two brawl with the former Women’s Champion getting the better of Baszler. When officials break up the fight, Bianca points out that Shayna embarrassed her. That is enough for Shayna to accept Bianca’s challenge and promise to end Bianca Belair’s career at Survivor Series.

Sonya Deville walks down the hall towards her office with her head in her hands after a stressful night. Paul says that Roman Reigns, the leader of team SmackDown cannot choose his team, but Cesaro can? Sonya says that she is sick of his whining and sick of Reigns’ ego. Cesaro did not make this match and he is not choosing this team. She is. And Reigns will have to just accept it. Sonya walks off with Heyman glaring.

IF COLE WINS HE’S ON TEAM SMACKDOWN - NO COUNT OUTS/NO DISQUALIFICATIONS

<b>ADAM COLE VS CESARO</b>

At the start of the match, Cole has a cocky look on his face so Cesaro goes to slap it off but AC ducks, rolls Cesaro up and nearly scores a quick pinfall. From there the two begin to trade near falls and high impact moves until Cole goes to hit the Panama Sunrise but Cesaro rolls to the floor. On the floor, Cesaro whips AC into the ring steps and then slams Cole’s head on the floor mat saying “that is for Jeff”. When Cesaro goes to grab his opponent, Adam low blows him on the floor in full view of the ref who can’t do anything and taunts Cesaro saying “well, that is for me.”

Adam Cole grabs a chair and whacks Cesaro in the back with it and rolls the US Champ in the ring and starts grounding the champ to prepare for the running knee. Cole scores with a Ushi Goroshi and sets up the chair and sits Cesaro on it before running off the ropes to hit the knee from behind but the champ has grabbed the chair and slams it into Adam’s knee.

From there it is all Cesaro who soon calls for this to be over. Cesaro hits the Neutralizer and Adam Cole is done for. But the crowd suddenly comes alive and the United States Champ takes notice.

Cesaro looks to the entryway to see Paul Heyman in the aisle but it is merely a distraction to allow Roman Reigns to sneak into the ring behind Cesaro.

The United States Champ turns around…SPEAR!!! The ref is furious but Roman shouts “NO DQ” so there is nothing the ref can do about it. Adam Cole is stunned but doesn’t miss the opportunity Roman just afforded him. Cole quickly covers….

Adam Cole throws his hands up in victory as he is the final member of Team SmackDown. Roman just stands in the ring and sneers down at Cesaro before sneering up at the entryway where Sonya Deville has come out.

Heyman is smug as he walks into the ring to celebrate with his Tribal Chief. This night began with Roman interfering to give his Bloodline strength and it ends with Roman interfering in a second match. In the end Roman Reigns did get to pick who he wanted on Team SmackDown and thumbed his nose at the Managing Director. With all this chaos, will there be unity on this team at Survivor Series?

Ok guys we want your true and 100% unvarnished opinion on this:

In the IWC it is no secret lately that WWE has become pretty unpopular and there is a perception of a negative opinion of the company now. And largely of their own doing (bad creative, releasing good people, thinking Vince lost his touch, etc).

When we launched this diary, we noticed that there are not many (if any) WWE diaries on here. And we thought it could be worth the risk of so-called "WWE fatigue" to launch it.

We have tried to be active with you guys and take sort of a "WWE if they were not being jerks" approach to this. But we want to check in to see what the vibe of this community is towards WWE - the real life company and if this diary is being viewed under that lense.

Our passion is to write compelling wrestling stories with our fun take on the industry. But it does not need to be with WWE. So, please honest:

Given the current environment and feelings about the business, is a diary about WWE a turnoff to you?

We like the project but we don't want this to be a vanity project. So if you guys want to see us do something else, we want to give that to you. We are asking for your brutally honest take here.

The real stuff is so tightly controlled its like it can't breathe on its own and it kills any desire to watch most of it .

In addition we’re about to see the final round robin match concerning this Sunday’s Women’s triple threat, the Queen Charlotte Flair meets the Irresistible Force Nia Jax.

Respect is something that is earned and unless you’ve been living under a rock for the better part of the last decade you know damn well I have earned it. You may not like me. You may detest me. But you know how good I am in this ring. Last week Team Raw had the opportunity to select me and secure a victory this Sunday but instead they literally walked past me as if I wasn’t there. Now, everyone makes mistakes so I’m going to allow them to come out here and correct that mistake.” Rollins waits but he doesn’t get his wish.

But I think in your anger you are blinded by a simple fact. You were not chosen for Team Raw because you are not the best man for the job. Now if you are not then who is?

(The crowd chants WHO? WHO? WHO? WHO?)

The obvious answer is yours truly.”

Rollins seethes in the ring. “If you think you’re the best man for the job then maybe you’d like to settle that in the ring.”

Big E looks around with a big smile. “I accept but I do require a caveat. When I beat you...and I will beat you….my man you have to stop wearing these ugly ass suits. I ask that for everyone who isn’t blind.”

Rollins explodes as Big E’s music plays again and the announcers hype that we have our main event tonight.

<b>CHARLOTTE FLAIR VS NIA JAX</b>

The disdain between these two is very evident and the match is slightly disjointed at times as they awkwardly get through a few spots. Nia uses her power to start off but Charlotte is able to turn the tables and lay into her with chops which Nia doesn’t seem to be selling but a specifically hard chop makes her change her tune. Charlotte gets in some trash talk about taking her title back but Nia shuts her up with a headbutt, then flinging her out to the floor. Nia follows and the two being brawling, paying no attention to the referee as he counts to ten.

NO CONTEST: DOUBLE COUNT OUT

Charlotte and Nia continue to brawl around ringside as the bell rings but they’re so focused on each other they don’t see someone has joined them.

Ember slides into the ring and quickly goes to the top, cannonballing down onto both of them. As Charlotte and Nia lay crumpled, it’s finally Ember who stands tall. Walking over to the time keeper’s area she grabs the Raw Women’s Championship and holds it up to the cheers of the fans..

Sarah Schreiber is standing by with the entirety of Team Raw, all of whom don’t exactly get along.

“Bobby Lashley, tonight you’ll be selecting the last man for your team but can you tell us who you’re considering?”

Lashley is about to answer when MVP leans in. “We’ll be watching the entire show but especially that main event tonight. It has...potential.”

As Sarah throws it back to the announcers, Lashley doesn’t appear happy with his hype man.

<b>ANGEL GARZA VS LINCE DORADO KAY</b>

Both men use a fast paced offense with a lot of high flying. Dorado gets his chance hitting a tornado DDT off the middle rope but Garza kicks out at two. Sensing he needs to do something more, Dorado goes to the top but Garza crotches him, then hits a fisherman superplex that Graves dubs ‘The Last Kiss’.

We go to one of the women’s locker rooms where one team is assembled. But frankly I don’t want to wait, I want an appetizer. So tonight Sunday’s losers can pick someone from their side and we’ll do the same. You girls better just hope it’s not 5 on 4 after tonight.”

We quickly go elsewhere backstage where the Street Profits and New Day are fighting with the Grizzled Young Veterans and Alpha Academy. Officials quickly break it up with both sides promising vengeance on Sunday.

When we come back from break Baron Corbin is walking backstage when he comes across R-Truth hiding behind a container.

“What are you doing?”

Truth slowly looks around. “You’re gonna ruin my trap. Tonight I get my baby back!”

“Baby?”

“The 7/11 International European Hardcore Television Title.”

“You mean the 24/7?”

“Yea, that’s it.”

“Dude, that’s been retired for months.”

“Retired? Thanks Corbin, now I know I gotta go to Florida!”

Truth runs off as Corbin looks dumbfounded.

Quick and ugly. Mansoor tries his best but that ends quickly with a clubbing forearm to the back. Omos toys with his opponent for a few moments like a cat with a dead mouse before he ends it with double handed chokeslam, pinning Mansoor with a boot on the chest.

He tells Omos that the last few weeks have been ‘tough love’ but he knew he had this in him and it’s only the beginning for them. Omos nods and returns the quick man-hug from AJ. Looks like the former champions are on the same page and deadlier than ever.

Ryker just stares at Deppen to begin the match which keeps Deppen out. When he finally approaches, Ryker seems almost sedated then explodes in violence as soon as Deppen is in arm’s reach. He batters Deppen with powerful strikes, specifically aimed at the neck. When he’s finally sated, Ryker locks in the Cobra Clutch and Deppen is quickly out.

Early on the IIconics attempt to use their numbers against Natalya but when the referee sees Peyton getting physical he uses his discretion not to call for a disqualification but instead banishes her from ringside. Billie looks terrified now and Natalya takes over, wearing her out until she’s ripe for the Sharpshooter which gets a very quick submission.

As Natalya gets her hand raised, her former partner Tamina hits the ring and blindsides her. Tamina whips Natalya into the ropes but Natalya ducks a clothesline, puts on the brakes and turns, taking Tamina’s legs out from under her. Natalya quickly applies the Sharpshooter and Tamina is tapping like crazy. Natalya finally lets go of the hold and makes it clear that she...and her team...won’t be pushovers.

Backstage we see JBL on his phone when Sarah Schrieber walks up.

“Mr. Layfield as Survivor Series nears are you at all worried about the crucial main event of Team Raw versus Team Smackdown which has been hand picked by Sonya Deville, Smackdown’s Managing Director?”

JBL just grins. “Sarah I was worried until you just reminded me that their team has been hand picked by a little girl who’s more worried about wearing nicer suits than I do than beating my team. Trust me, when the dust settles we’ll see what happens when you send a woman to do a man’s job.”

Schrieber looks less than thrilled with her boss as she sends it back to the announcers.

We see a split screen of Big E and Seth Rollins both walking backstage. The main event is next!

As the referee turns to hand Big E’s Money in the Bank Briefcase to an outside official Rollins kicks Big E low right as the bell rings and with Big E on all fours, Rollings goes right for the curb stomp.

Kickout!

Rollins is angry his plan didn’t work and begins peppering him with right hands, determined to keep him down but Big E keeps getting up. Rollins makes a big mistake when he takes a moment to talk to the crowd allowing Big E to get his hands on him and hitting a german suplex. Big E, buoyed by the fans, begins taking over as he uses his power on Rollins from one corner to the other. Rollins tries to escape the ring only to be yanked back up onto the apron by his hair and suplexed back into the ring. Big E senses he has momentum as he hits a series of running clotheslines, then hits the ropes for a splash but Rollins puts the knees up and pulls him into a small package.

Kickout.

Rollins hits a few kicks before dragging Big E to the corner before going to the opposite and hits a running knee to the face. He drags him to the middle of the ring and goes for the pin.

Frustrated, Seth leans Big E onto the ropes before clotheslining him over to the floor.

Seth follows to the outside but stays on the apron and when Big E stands Seth runs down the apron and launches a knee but Big E catches him in mid air. Seth looks stunned as he looks down into the angry eyes of Big E. Big E flings him over his shoulder like a release belly to belly into the ring post and Rollins lands with a thud. Feeding off the crowd Big E picks him up and rolls him back into the ring where he hits a series of snap suplexes, with a little Eddie Guerrero dance in between. Big E presses his advantage but when he tries to pick Rollins up he gets a poke in the eye. Rollins scurries to his feet and connects with two superkicks which drop Big E to his knees in time for a third one. Rollins, looking a little crazed, goes up to the top and perches himself. When Big E stands Seth flies off with a cross body block but he’s caught again and this time Big E wastes no time in hoisting Rolling up onto his shoulder for the Big Ending.

The Almighty Raw Champion Bobby Lashley comes out flanked by MVP and his team, and their seconds. Lashley’s demeanor is that he doesn’t want to be here as they all enter the ring. Understandably Big E is on heightened alert but MVP tries to calm him by putting his hands up before handing Lashley a microphone.

Lashley just stands there, as if triple thinking his decision but MVP is encouraging him to do it. Finally the champion looks at Big E and when he speaks it’s as if the words hurt him.

“Would you….”

Big E has gathered a microphone as well. “Would I?”

“Would you join the team?” Lashley asks flatly.

“Bobby, it seems like this is difficult for you and I don’t want to make it worse but….I’m gonna need a please added to that.”

Lashley about throws the microphone away as MVP and Styles and Kross even try to calm him. For his part, Nakamura and Boogs find this hilarious. Finally Lashley calms down.

“Would you…..please…..join the team?”

Now it’s Big E’s turn to do some thinking and he turns to the WWE Universe who seems divided but mostly want him to do it. “Well Bobby since you need me so badly to complete this team of awesome individuals…..Yes I will.”

Big E shakes hands with Nakamura and just gives cursory nods to the rest but when he and Lashley lock eyes it’s all business.

Corey Graves makes mention that Team Raw could put the Avengers to shame and says he can’t wait for Survivor Series this Sunday live on Peacock as the show ends.

We are in the shadow of New York City just two nights away from the Survivor Series where Raw and SmackDown will collide in Brooklyn, New York this Sunday on Peacock. Later this evening, SmackDown Managing Director Sonya Deville will address the SmackDown audience ahead of the battle of the franchise with the 2nd night of Wrestlemania at stake. We will also hear an update from Jeff Hardy. And in our featured contest, two members of team SmackDown - Drew McIntyre & Finn Balor will have to put their personal issues aside to team up against the Dirty Dawgs. But let's go to the ring for our opening contest.

Toni and Melina have a terrific back and forth match and Melina actually seems like she is gonna put this one away. Melina shows viciousness as she slams Toni’s knee onto the ring steps on the floor and then drops a knee onto the back of Toni’s shoulders. When Melina goes for a Jumping DDT, Toni turns it into a German Suplex, dumping Melina head first. From there it isn’t long before Melina eats a Storm Zero and Toni Storm picks up the win.

Jeff Hardy comes out to a standing ovation and grabs a microphone and says that the last month has taught him a lot about himself. Being in the concussion protocol has made Hardy think about the limits of his own body. Jeff says that he is 44 years old and that he has put a lot of damage on this body and it has always held up...until now. Jeff says that he does not know how many of these battles that he has left and the prudent and smart thing would be to walk away.

Unfortunately Jeff isn’t known to do the smart thing and he damned sure isn’t prudent. So, until this body cannot take it anymore...Jeff will continue to live for the moment and push the limit and he will be back. Back just in time for next month’s pay per view.

So the real reason that Jeff Hardy is here tonight is not to tell the people about his health..it is to lay a challenge. A challenge to Adam Cole. Jeff says that he knows that Sunday night Adam Cole has an important match. And all of us on SmackDown are behind him and all of Team SmackDown, but when that match is over - Jeff Hardy will be waiting. SmackDown returns to a special look at the history between Shayna Baszler & Bianca Belair. We are told that both women have been barred from the building this week so that the Women’s Title match can be preserved. But the title will be on the line Sunday at Survivor Series.

This is a fantastic tag team match that gets a lot of time with Gulak & Ricochet having surprising success early on until Alexander and Benjamin take control by beating down Ricochet for quite awhile. Eventually Gulak makes the hot save and the two work with tandem offense to take Shelton out of the match. Gulak is able to hit a jumping knee on Cedric before Ricochet flies off with the 630. Drew then covers for the pinfall.

The two nearly come to blows before officials separate with Sami backing away smiling like a prick.

Paige simply leans back and enjoys the carnage that finally ends with the Avalanche for the decisive victory.

SmackDown returns with SmackDown World Champion Roman Reigns, Adam Cole, Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor, SmackDown United States Champion Cesaro and SmackDown Managing Director Sonya Deville all in the ring. The spotlight is on Sonya as she addresses her team and the SmackDown fans.

Sonya addresses the audience and her team and talks up the importance of what is happening this Sunday at Survivor Series. It is not about just this match, it is about the opportunity to show the whole world what SmackDown is capable of on the final night of Wrestlemania weekend. Wrestlemania season starts this Sunday and it happens with this match.

This match is not merely for the five men inside this ring, it is not just about the SmackDown fans that could have the entire final night of Wrestlemania to witness SmackDown shine, it is for every other man and woman in that locker room and for every employee of this franchise. From production personnel to office staff to referees to the wrestlers backstage - all of this is an opportunity for the whole world to see what SmackDown is about and close Wrestlemania weekend.

It is an opportunity of a lifetime and it is all wrapped up in a single match. It is no accident that this team was created. A team of rivals - each with their own strengths - but together, represent the very best of SmackDown. And Sonya is convinced that this team is powerful enough and strong enough to bring Raw to its knees. Oh, and JBL? If he calls Sonya a little girl again, she will snap his wrist and laugh when he cries like a little bitch.

SmackDown will win this Sunday.

Roman then grabs the mic and looks at Finn Balor and Drew McIntyre and says that he understands that both men want this title. And he gets that it has caused tension between the two friends and one day the issues between all 3 men will be settled. But that day is not this Sunday.

Roman says that he doesn’t like Cesaro, and he doesn’t like Drew and Balor and he damned sure doesn’t like Sonya Deville...but what he wants is to be the final main event at Wrestlemania. The chance for all of wrestling to gaze upon his greatness and acknowledge the Tribal Chief. Roman Reigns isn’t built for opening night or opening match. So all of us better get it together because if Team SmackDown loses on Sunday, it will be disrespectful to Roman Reigns and to his family. And hell will follow.

Reigns and Heyman walk away - the message is clear. Team SmackDown is looking to kick Raw’s ass in 48 hours at Survivor Series.

<b>DREW MCINTYRE AND FINN BALOR VS THE DIRTY DAWGS</b>

Early on Balor and Drew are testy with each other and you can feel the uncomfortable aspect about them teaming together. The former SmackDown Tag Team Champions use this to their advantage when they push Drew into Balor and that sends Finn to the floor. Finn gets in the ring thinking that Drew did that on purpose and shoves his partner. Order has to be restored while we go to commercial.

When we return from break, Dolph and Roode have now isolated Balor from Drew and are working on Balor who is trying to not surrender to the multiple double teams and being cut off from Drew. When Dolph puts Finn into a Half-Boston Crab, Drew slaps the Turnbuckle Pad to try to encourage Finn to make it to the corner for a tag but when he nearly does, Roode cuts Finn off. Roode hits the Glorious DDT and covers...1….2…Drew rushes in and makes the save.

The tide turns when Roode is dropped by a running dropkick in the corner and Finn goes to his corner where Drew tags himself in. A brawl happens between the two teams and eventually Drew and Finn are back to back fighting off the Dirty Dawgs. Finn sends Dolph crashing to the floor and goes to hit the Coup De Gras on Roode but Drew is the legal man and after a moment of hesitation, Finn says “finish it” and allows Drew McIntyre to hit the Claymore Kick for the pinfall.

The limo driver asks if he can ask who that was and Sonya says “the boss - he’s coming to Survivor Series.” Sonya smiles and gets in as the limo drives off. The Rock is headed to Survivor Series to supervise Team SmackDown. Who will own night two at Wrestlemania? Find out this Sunday!!!

Ali dominates the match early on as a pure white meat babyface and scores a near fall after a lifting knee to the face nearly knocks Sami out. But, Zayn takes over with a thumb to the eye and after a few false finishes and a hope spot for Ali that was ruined, Sami hits the Helluva Kick for the pinfall.

Michael Cole & Pat McAfee welcome us to the Thirty-Fifth Annual Survivor Series. You are looking live at a sold-out Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York where tonight the Raw franchise and the SmackDown franchise will collide with the winning franchise owning night two of Wrestlemania. Michael Cole & Pat McAfee hype up the SmackDown matches of the Women’s Title, the Tag Team titles and Ripley vs Niven before throwing it to the Raw guys.

We then move over to the Raw announcers who hype the two triple threat title matches, the eight man tag and of course put over their unanimous belief that Team Raw will be victorious tonight.

Shayna locks up with Bianca but then pushes her aside and jumps to the floor with a grin on her face. Bianca realizes what Shayna is doing and won’t play her games and chase her on the floor. Shayna gets back in and Bianca decks Shayna and the two start brawling. Bianca gets the best of Shayna and scores a couple near falls after using her size and strength to her advantage.

This time, Shayna bails to the floor out of real concern and Bianca gives chase which allows the champion to post Bianca head first and then drop her with a body slam on the ring steps. Back in the ring, Shayna drops her knee into the small of Bianca’s back and begins to work on her with vicious submission holds. The challenger, with the heart of a lion, refuses to surrender.

Bianca battles back and nearly knocks out Shayna with a back elbow. Belair prepares to hit the Kiss of Death but Shayna realizes that she’s in trouble and pushes Bianca into a corner. As the two wrestle for the power advantage in the corner, Shayna leans in and whispers something to Bianca before smiling.

Bianca’s face goes from being stunned to furious and Belair goes nuclear by decking Baszler hard in the nose and going for her throat. Baszler tries to retreat into a corner to avoid Belair’s rage as she tries to block the punches that are coming. Belair is going for Shayna’s eye when Shayna puts half of her body through the ropes. The referee gets in there to try to break this up and Bianca responds by throwing the ref,hair first halfway across the ring. The second that she does, Bianca realizes what she did and as soon as the ref stands, she calls for the bell, disqualifying the challenger.

WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION: BIANCA BELAIR

After the match, Bianca is heartbroken that her chance at becoming SmackDown Women’s Champion yet again has vanished. Bianca’s anger got the best of her and it cost her the title and now that has set in. Shayna escapes to the floor and gloats up the aisle as she has escaped as champ.

The match begins with Priest and Lee double teaming Crews who quickly finds out how bad of a situation that is when they pinball him back and forth with right hands and then hit a remarkable double dropkick which sends him over the top. Unfortunately there is no Commander Azeez there to help him as Jimmy Smith tells us Azeez has been barred from ringside.

Lee and Priest slug it out with Lee getting the early advantage with his power but Priest is no weakling and fights back, stunning Lee with a flying forearm as he is whipped into the ropes. The Champion pushes his advantage and almost has Lee in position for the Reckoning when Crews comes back into the ring and attacks him from behind. Apollo shows off his own power by hitting a german suplex on both Priest and Lee. Priest goes for the cover but Lee quickly kicks out.

Determined to not fight a two front war, Crews sends Priest to the outside but this momentary distraction allows Lee to clear the cobwebs and when Crews turns around Lee blasts him with a running clothesline followed by another. Lee is on fire and gorilla press slams Crews. The crowd is cheering and Lee takes a moment to allow them to bask in his glory before he picks up Crews and delivers the Big Bang Catastrophe. But before Lee can lock in the cover, Priest is back in the ring and drops an elbow on his back. Priest delivers a few high knees into Lee’s ribs and dumps him outside before quickly making the cover on Crews. Lee can only watch as Crews is defeated with his own move.

WINNER BY PINFALL AND STILL RAW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION: DAMIEN PRIEST

Damian Priest gets his hand raised as a very frustrated Keith Lee rolls back into the ring. Lee swallows his pride and walks over, extending his hand. Priest says something to him that we can’t hear and shakes his hand when Lee suddenly yanks him into a powerful short armed clothesline. Lee can be overheard shouting at Priest that it belongs to him as he hoists the champion in the air and hits the Big Bang Catastrophe. Priest is lifeless as Lee raises his fists to the sky and lets out a roar.

A video package shows Paige’s return to SmackDown and her betrayal of Rhea Ripley. The package also shows Piper Niven’s dominance since her arrival onto the scene at SmackDown and Paige’s promise to set her monster free on Rhea Ripley.

<b>RHEA RIPLEY VS PIPER NIVEN W/PAIGE</b>

Most of this match is really a showcase for the power of the monstrous Niven. Anytime that Ripley gets an advantage, Niven either swats her away like a fly or uses her size advantage to squash Ripley. Niven even uses the Earthquake drop but Rhea kicks out just in the knick of time.

Rhea starts to come back into this match when she is able to slam Piper and get her down on the mat. Rhea stomps and punches and performs mat-based maneuvers to keep Niven down. Ripley even scores with a Top Rope Elbow Drop ala Macho man but Niven powers out.

Rhea hits a headbutt and a back elbow that has Niven stunned. When Ripley goes for a RipTide, Paige reaches in and trips Rhea and that gives Niven the upper hand again. After a few slams, Piper throws Rhea into the corner and charges for a big splash but Ripley moves out of the way. Niven crashes into the corner chest first and Ripley is able to use that to roll Niven up from behind in a cradle pin. 1….2….3.

WINNER BY PINFALL: RHEA RIPLEY

Backstage we find JBL and Sonya Deville standing face to face. JBL tries to put on the charm.

Sonya tilts her head as if trying to decide if he’s joking or serious. She finally realizes he’s just dumb. She shakes her head and walks off.

<b>THE STREET PROFITS AND THE NEW DAY VS ALPHA ACADEMY AND THE GRIZZLED YOUNG VETERANS</b>

Both sides get in equal offense with the baby faces using quicker tags and fast-paced action while the heels are slower and more methodical in their attacks relying on wear-down maneuvers and Otis’ power. They keep Ford in their corner working him over illegally every time the referee turns his back but finally he fights back, and stuns the entire opposite team with wild elbows before making a leaping dive to Kofi who comes in and begins cleaning house. Soon his teammates join in and for a moment it’s an eight man brawl which sends the heels to the outside thanks to four clotheslines over the top rope.

The GYV and Academy regroup on the outside and the match continues. They make their comeback and seem to have everything in their favor until Otis accidentally splashes Gable in the corner instead of Woods who makes a tag to Kofi and chop blocks Otis. Kofi tags in Dawkins and hits a leg drop on Otis. Dawkins tags in Ford and hits a running senton onto Otis and finally Ford flies off the top with a enormous frog splash for the win.

We go backstage where a long limousine has pulled up to the Barclay’s Center. The doors open and the owner of SmackDown, The Rock steps out. The People’s Champion is here and will personally oversee his franchise tonight in our main event!

Paul Heyman is seen giving private advice to the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Uso’s before their match. Kayla Braxton walks up and wants to know what Heyman said, but he brushes her off and asks if she has anything better to do? When she says no, he just says “that’s pathetic” and walks away. The SmackDown Tag Team Titles are on the line...next.

The match starts out with War Raiders throwing Jimmy and Jey around like ragdolls and using their size advantage until Jimmy and Jey retreat like they are going to get counted out. The challengers follow to the floor and a brawl takes place that sees Uso's double team Ivar, and drop him head first on the floor.

From there the champs get Erik into the ring and cut off the ring with seasoned double team moves and near falls even as Ivar slowly recovers and makes his way back to the apron. Erik makes a tag to Ivar but Jimmy Uso distracted the ref and when Ivar argues with the ref’s, Jey Uso kicks Erik low.

The champs continue their double team including a Spike-Piledriver onto Erik that only got broken up when Ivar came in, cleaned house, and then drug Erik over to his side and forced a tag in. Once the big man is in, runs over both champions and does a overhead belly to belly on Jimmy that sends Jimmy to the floor. Erik recovers and War Raiders go to deliver Fallout on Jey Uso and connect.

Ivar covers….1…..2…..Jimmy is in and saves the match. Erik and Jimmy brawl to the floor when suddenly Paul Heyman has run down and hands something to Jey while the ref is yelling at Jimmy and Erik. Heyman gets on the apron and distracts the ref and we see Jey put on brass knucks. When Ivar comes to grab Jey, Main Event Jey nails Ivar right between the eyes but the shot doesn’t put the big man down. A second shot finally does and Jey throws the knucks to the floor while Heyman drops off the apron and grabs the weapon. Jey covers...1….2….3.

We go to the SmackDown locker room where The Rock, flanked by Managing Director Sonya Deville, does a final pep talk for his troops before the match. Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman are near the back of the room a little away from everyone else, but they are observing. The Rock talks about how this event is the Twenty-Fifth anniversary of The Rock’s debut at Survivor Series 1996 and about how, out of all of the Survivor Series moments The Rock had….tonight is the biggest moment of all because of how important this match is. The Rock talks about the importance of main eventing Wrestlemania - we all understand that. The Rock has been in several of them. This is even bigger. The opportunity before us tonight is even more meaningful than just the main event of Wrestlemania. Now that Wrestlemania is a two night event, the opportunity to be on last - the franchise that closes the weekend - is even bigger. That is like main eventing 10 Wrestlemanias all in one day. And this team is dangerous, this team is bad, and this team will kick Raw’s ass….if you Smelllllll What SmackDown Is Cookin!

<b>NIA JAX VS EMBER MOON VS CHARLOTTE FLAIR</b>

All three women begin the match with a staredown before Charlotte Flair ditches to the outside telling the front row how smart she is but Nia and Ember roll out too surrounding her and double team the Queen for a few moments before they all return to the ring where Nia quickly turns on Ember and begins taking over using her size and strength. It appears this may be a quick title retention for Jax as she dominates both women before dragging Ember to the corner and climbing to the second rope ala Yokozuna but Charlotte rushes up from behind and with Ember’s aid they powerbomb Jax to the mat before turning on each other.

Charlotte lays into Ember with stiff chops while telling her she doesn’t belong in the ring with the Queen. Ember, for her part, gives as good as she gets and even gets a close two count with a schoolboy rollup. But they’re too focused on each other and when Nia regains her footing she double clotheslines them both to the floor below. Nia is in firm control as she batters both of her opponents back and forth. The champion whips Ember into one ringpost and Charlotte into the other while talking trash to them both. Charlotte is the first to her feet and stops Nia cold with a heavy chop which stuns the champion momentarily but a headbutt to the face drops Charlotte again. Nia turns to see Ember trying to pull herself up by the time keeper and charges but Ember moves and Nia crashes through the barrier!

With Nia down and out the action turns to Charlotte and Ember who both roll back into the ring and go toe to toe showing that they very well may be the two top athletes in the women’s division. They trade punches, kicks, and even chops before Charlotte is wiped into the corner but does the Flair trademarked somersault over the top to the apron where Ember is there to meet her with a clothesline but Charlotte is still on her feet, swaying on the apron and Ember brings her back in with a suplex. Ember is feeding off the crowd who is on their feet and goes to the top. Charlotte slowly gets up and then hits the ropes crotching Ember then delivers a remarkable running boot to the face. She tumbles Ember to the mat and makes the cover.

We’re shown a video of a CGI-styled desolate plain and in the distance a large city. Zooming towards the city we fly between the skyscrapers with millions of people shoulder to shoulder below us in the streets. Slowly we level off and fall in behind some of these unrecognizable people as they gaze up to the sky.

Judgement Day is coming…...

Backstage, Kayla Braxton catches up to a distraught Bianca Belair, who is being consoled by her husband Montez Ford while Angelo Dawkins paces angrily in the background. It is clear that she has been crying since the Women's Title match ended. Kayla asks what Shayna said to her to send her into such a rage and Belair says that what was said to her should never be said to anyone and Shayna did what she wanted...she got into Bianca's head and made her sabotage herself.

Bianca then looks at Kayla and the camera and promises everyone that someday, somehow, someway she's going to get Shayna back in that ring and there will be nothing that stops Bianca from ripping Shayna Baszler apart.

<b>TEAM RAW VS TEAM SMACKDOWN</b>

Nakamura and Balor begin the match for their teams and the King and the Prince do not disappoint. They spend several minutes laying into each other and Nakamura holds the advantage, lining up Balor for the Kinshasa when Adam Cole draws the referee’s attention allowing Roman Reigns to run down the apron and deliver a Superman Punch to Nakamura who goes down in a heap. Balor sees it happen and takes advantage, going to the top and hitting the Coup De Grace. Team Raw is livid and it’s Karrion Kross who jumps into the ring, immediately attacking Balor and hitting a series of Saito suplexes before looking in the Kross Jacket. Team Smackdown urges Balor to fight out of it but he passes out as he’s reaching with all his might to grab the rope.

Cesaro is the next man in and he and Kross are extremely stiff in their strikes to one another and things are going okay for Team Raw until Cesaro sweeps Kross’ legs out from under him and puts him in the giant swing for seventeen revolutions. Kross doesn’t know which way is up and he’s soon headed down when Cesaro hits the Neutralizer for the pinfall. Cesaro has no time to celebrate as AJ Styles is in the ring and sends the US Champion to the outside with a knee to the back. Styles immediately turns to taunt the opposite team, drawing the referee’s attention allowing Omos to grab Cesaro and send him head first into the ring post. Lashley hops down and throws Cesaro back into the ring where he’s easy pickings for Styles who tags Lashley in who hits a spear on Cesaro but AJ blind tags right back in and waits his turn to hit a Phenomenal Forearm for the pinfall. As the referee counts, the frustration of Big E continues to build as he’s being ignored.

Styles is ready for the next opponent and it comes in the form of Adam Cole. The two men watch each other with some respect before exchanging a ‘too sweet’ gesture. They then get down to it and it’s Cole who is smart enough to avoid Omos’ side of the ring. They’re pretty evenly matched but when Styles refuses to tag in Big E, the two get into an argument. Styles turns back to Cole and eats a superkick. Cole quickly bounds off the ropes and hits the Last Shot to the back of Styles’ head and gets the pin. Big E forces his way into the match and spends several minutes with Cole showing off both of their athleticism but when Cole goes for the Panama Sunrise off the second rope, Big E stops his momentum while flipping him up onto his shoulder for the Big Ending which sends Cole to the showers.

Big E wants Reigns but it’s McIntyre who finally enters the match. Big E and he go nose to nose and show off their shared strength and power game but Team Raw gains the advantage when Lashley lands a knee into McIntyre’s back when he’s whipped into the ropes and it’s followed with a belly to belly release suplex by Big E. Lashley tags in and there seems to be some teamwork going on while a bored-looking Reigns converses with Heyman. McIntyre takes a beating and seems like he’s ready to go out when he takes a spear from Lashley but he gets his foot on the rope right before the three count. Lashley is growing angry and he whips Drew into the corner but when he charges, McIntyre explodes with a Claymore. Exhausted and unable to follow up, McIntyre drags himself to the corner where Reigns finally decides to tag in.

Roman’s first move is to Superman Punch Big E off the apron. He then lands not one but two on Lashley which stagger the Almighty and drop him to a knee. Reigns moves to the corner and lets out a loud ‘oooooh ahhhh’ signaling his own spear but he stops with a smirk and exits the ring, Heyman right behind him clutching the Smackdown World Title. Confusion abounds with the announcers as Reigns walks out on McIntyre and the referee counts to ten. McIntyre, who is still worn out, looks half pissed and half stunned as Big E quickly tags in and runs over, slingshotting Drew back into the ring before hitting a series of running clotheslines and building his own momentum, clapping along with the crowd to ‘Big E Rocks’ McIntyre is loaded up on Big E’s shoulder but he slips off his back and applies a sleeper. Big E is in trouble and Lashley looks like he’s fine letting it happen but MVP urges his man to break it up which he does. As the referee forces Lashley out, MVP grabs the Raw World Title and clocks Drew in the back of the head, allowing Big E to scoop him up one more time and deliver the Big Ending for the winning pinfall.

The arguments and threats continue as we go off the air.

The show begins with John Layfield in the ring and he couldn’t be smiling any wider.

“Last night the entire world saw what happens when the Almighty is running the show and yes we had to put up with a clown but that is a situation which will be dealt with in its proper time. The lesson the Almighty and I learned last night is we are stronger when we have a team around us. So tonight we are here to make a declaration. The Hurt Business is back in business….and we expand tonight!”

Jimmy Smith and the announcers walk us through a replay of what we just saw then hype tonight’s show. We’ll see the return of Kevin Owens, the New Day taking on the Alpha Academy, and what is being described as the “Coronation” of Charlotte Flair as the new Raw Women’s Champion.

<b>BARON CORBIN VS GRAN METALIK</b>

Corbin is back to his old ways of basically being a prick to everyone and it shows in everything from his sneer to his body language. Metalik keeps him on the defensive with some quick high flying but once Corbin grounds him it’s all done. A Deep Six and End of Days later Corbin gets his hand raised.

Just like a few weeks ago we find four teams arguing backstage but they all get quiet when JBL walks up and shouts them down.

“Apparently last night didn’t settle a damn thing and I’m sick of the bitching. So at Judgment Day we’re gonna have ourselves a four corners match for the Raw Tag Team Championships. And tonight it’ll be New Day versus Alpha Academy. Now get the hell out of here!”

The four teams go their separate ways as he shakes his head. “Kids.”

<b>KIMBER LEIGH VS DANA BROOKE</b>

Leigh, who’s going by a different spelling of her last name from the vignette we saw for her a few weeks ago shows off both some power and skill in the ring. Brooke, even with her win-loss record is not a pushover but Leigh is solidly in command and ends the match with powerbomb into an Alligator Clutch for the win.

We see a still picture recap of last night’s Raw Intercontinental Championship match in which Damian Priest retained before being attacked by Keith Lee.

We go live to Keith Lee’s locker room.

I am a patient man but even my patience has its limits and your title reign will come to an end at Judgement Day.

We see Elias sitting in the front row and Sarah Schrieber comes out to talk to him but he won’t respond to her. After she calls his name for the fifth time he looks at her and tells her that’s not his name. She looks confused as the segment ends.

KO is back in action and looks like he’s healed up. He dominates the match with long time veteran Daivari and hits a pop up powerbomb before ending the match with a stunner.

Seth Rollins is walking backstage talking to himself.

“I’m the freakin’ Architect. I’m Seth FREAKIN Rollins and I’m not on Survivor Series? This place is a joke! Everyone disrespects me. Nobody takes me seriously.”

He opens his locker room door and stops cold.

“What….what are you doing in here?” He slowly walks in and the door shuts behind him.

<b>NAOMI VS ASHLEY VOX</b>

Another one sided contest with Naomi on defense for only about a minute before taking it over and finally putting Vox away with the Rear View.

We’re shown a video of a CGI-styled desolate plain and in the distance a large city. Zooming towards the city we fly between the skyscrapers with millions of people shoulder to shoulder below us in the streets. Slowly we level off and fall in behind some of these unrecognizable people as they gaze up to the sky.

Judgment Day is coming…...

AJ Styles and Omos are in their locker room talking about last night’s Survivor Series when a staff member knocks and offers a note. The staff member says it’s from MVP and AJ quickly grabs it out of his hand.

“We’ve been impressed by you since day one. Please join us in the ring in a few minutes.” AJ turns to the big man. “Finally, this is our ticket!” He and Omos leave the room as we go to a commercial.

When we return to the show, Lashley and MVP are already in the ring and they’re soon joined by AJ Styles and Omos. As the former Tag Champions make their way down MVP whispers something to Lashley who shakes his head. AJ is pumped as he gets in the ring, shaking both of their hands and blurting out that they accept.

“You accept?” Asks MVP.

“Yes, we accept the positions in the Hurt Business that you’re offering us.”

“Oh, yes. Well there’s some good news and some bad news.”

AJ looks confused. “What’s the good news.”

“The good news is that we are interested in expanding the Hurt Business.”

“Good..good. Now what’s the bad news?”

“You weren’t the one the note was for.”

AJ looks confused before slowly turning to look at Omos who instantly drops him with a huge right hand, knocking him half loopy. MVP and Lashley stand back and watch as Omos ragdolls his now former partner before planting him in the middle of the ring with a double handed chokeslam.”

MVP begins to grin. “It looks like business is picking up.”

Lashley, MVP and Omos leave as AJ can barely move.

A replay is shown of Omos joining the Hurt Business and turning on his partner AJ Styles. Corey Graves wonders how anyone is going to overcome the Almighty now with the Colossus watching his back.

<b>THE NEW DAY VS THE ALPHA ACADEMY</b>

A great match between these two who are becoming familiar opponents. Otis shows off his power early on while Gable uses his technical skill but once Kofi makes the hot tag all of that goes out the window. Gable is run ragged by quick tags of the multi-time champions and a double dropkick sends Otis off the apron. Gable then falls victim to a double slingshot suplex for the 123.

The New Day celebrate their victory but it doesn’t last long as Otis steamrolls them both. Kofi is thrown over the top rope by his hand and then Woods is flattened again with a clothesline that helicopters him in the air. Otis takes the opportunity to bound off the ropes and hit the Alphalanche on Woods. Kofi returns to the ring with a chair and the Academy ditches to the outside but the damage to Woods has been done.

<b>BIG E VS ANGEL GARZA</b>

A good match which sees Big E’s power versus Garza’s skill and speed. Both men control large swathes of the match but Big E will not be deterred and his strength is the final element of the match which holds the advantage. After hitting a series of power moves, Garza falls victim to the Big Ending.

After the match Big E gets a microphone.

“Bobby, you know you’re not fooling anybody. We have our moment last night and suddenly you need Omos watching your back? Let me tell you something. As long as I have this briefcase it doesn’t matter who you have watc…..

Suddenly Jaxson Ryker slides into the ring and blasts Big E in the back of the head with a forearm. Stunned, Big E is open for a moment and Ryker latches on with the Cobra Clutch. Big E tries fighting him off but when Ryker grounds them, Big E’s eyes slowly close as officials rush the ring to break it up.

We see the Queen backstage getting the finishing touches put on her makeup. The Coronation is next!

Charlotte Flair comes out to the ring following her victory the night before with the RAW Women's Championship around her waist. She stands in the middle of the ring with a smug grin.

“Awww, are you disappointed that I have MY title back? Did you really expect any other result? Ladies and Gentlemen, how often must I repeat myself? I am the best. I am the living breathing embodiment of opportunity. I fight them all but you know what’s more important? I win. Opportunity does not mean success it means a chance. Well you don’t take a chance on Charlotte Flair because I am a sure bet.”

At this point the crowd is chanting ‘We want Becky’ and Charlotte is quick to shut them down. “Oh you want the Man? Well I’m sorry to tell you she’s still playing mommy and I am getting more than a little annoyed that every time you have the...yes, opportunity, to experience your Queen…..”

The crowd explodes as Becky Lynch’s music hits and a moment later she appears. She gazes around taking in the sight of the crowd before she makes her way to the ring. Charlotte stands frozen in the middle of the ring just watching. Becky enters the ring, playing to the crowd by standing on the ropes, before turning to Charlotte and walking up to her. Becky is smiling as she looks down at the championship belt, then slowly reaches for the microphone. Charlotte allows her to take it, never changing her icy demeanor. Becky takes a moment before she pats the front of the belt with a smirk and tells the world.

“Mommy’s home!”

Becky’s music plays again as the two have a staredown as the show goes off the air.
