Preview - TCW Destructive Energy 2020

The Biggins Boys (Bart Biggins, Brett Biggins) vs Benson & The Foxx
As announced just a few days after the Texas Heritage Tournament, TCW has signed Brett Biggins, older brother of Bart Biggins with which he won 4 World Tag Team championships in the past. The Biggins Boys seems destined to do a money-spinning nostalgia run in TCW tag division. Their opponents will be the babyfaces Benny Benson and Flying Jimmy Foxx, who already stated to looking forward to share the ring with The Biggins Brothers in what we can expect to be an entertaining bout.

Mr. Lucha III vs Gino Montero
Mr. Lucha III and manager Vinny cruz kept asking for some international competition, so TCW decided to put him against a new face in the company, someone who made a lot of noise in the wrestling biz as he left hometown Mexico, where he was one of the brightest new stars, to join Total Championship Wrestling. The youngest son of the legendary Luis Montero, even before his professional debut in 2008 there was talk going around that Gino Montero was something special. In this all-mexican singles action, we will see two rising stars with some heavy legacies on their shoulders: who will come out on top?

Texas Brawl: Dazzling Dave Diamond vs Texas Hangman
The rivalry between Dazzling Dave Diamond and the duo of Maverick and Texas Hangman continues to heat up, after months from the beginning at TCW Total Mayhem XXIV. Triple D finally got in Texas Hangman’s head, as the young heavyweight seems to be pretty out of control for the veteran mentor, Maverick. In fact, Dazzling Dave Diamond has challenged Texas Hangman to a good ol’ Texas Brawl match betweem the two, without Maverick or anyone else to interfere, and Texas Hangman has accepted the challenge!

TCW Tag Team Titles: Human Army (c) vs Party Lovers vs NXT in LINE vs The Elite
The Tag Team titles will be on the line, as champs Human Arsenal and One Man Army are ready to defend their golds in an insidious four-way match. Their contenders will be the Party Lovers, Edd Stone and “Dr. Love” Danny Fonzarelli, who had both already won the tag belts with different partners; The Elite, Nate Johnson and Eddie Chandler, a tough veteran team always capable to find a sneaky way to win; NXT in LINE, Greg Gauge and Joshua Taylor, who had some tensions between them in the past months. This could be the perfect opportunity to Gauge and Taylor to be officialy back on the same page! .. But you really can’t count The Elite out! .. But you have to be aware of Party Lovers’ chances! .. And how about the champs? They are capable on retaining the golds! Oh, what a match this could be ladies and gentlemen.

Eddie Peak vs Wolf Hawkins
Both coming from an underwheling Texas Heritage Tournament performance and with a desire to rebuild their momentum to come back in the World title picture, Eddie Peak and Wolf Hawkins had some hassle in the recent weeks, goading each other. That leads to a singles match announced for TCW Destructive Energy, with the leaders of Sinner Society and The Syndicate who will collide one versus one in a bout that could redefine the rankings around the TCW World Heavyweight Title.

Mighty Mo, BLITZ! (Julius Moor, T-Bone Bright) vs Most Hated (Freddy Huggins, Marc Speed, Matt Hocking)
Fresh of a win in the TCW Texas Heritage Tournament, Mighty Mo had to deal with runner-up’s rant about him, as Freddy Huggins went public to mock and trash talk the babyface major star. Mighty Mo simply responded to “The Gem” by challenge him in a one versus one rematch for the next Event, but Marc Speed and Matt Hocking got in the way, having leader Freddy Huggins’ back. Mighty Mo then found someone who backed him up in the fresh new tag team BLITZ!, made by former football athletes Julius Moor and T-Bone Bright.

TCW World Heavyweight Title: Jay Chord (c) vs Aaron Andrews
The Andrews-Chord rivalry continues here at TCW Destructive Energy 2020. Jay Chord defeated Aaron Andrews at TCW Summer Showdown 2020 to win the World Heavyweight title. After that, “The Ace” pinned Chord twice: at TCW Hotter Than Hell 2020 in a three versus three match, and in singles action during the TCW Texas Heritage Tournament Quarter finals. This two wins, guaranteed Aaron Andrews a rematch for the big gold. Will “The Ace” reclaim the title belt? Or will Jay Chord succesfully make his first title defence?

Reuniting the Biggins is great for the tag division, and I see one more reign for them. Gino is a huge signing for you, but a spectacular loss to give him a few months to go on a run before getting his win back works well too

TCW Destructive Energy 2020

Held in front of 13,711 peope in the BriCo Center (San Antonio, Texas)

The Biggins Boys (Bart Biggins, Brett Biggins) vs Benson & The Foxx
In the opener of the night, Brett Biggins debuts alongside brother Bart Biggins, defeating Benson & The Foxx in 14 mins when Brett Biggins pins Flying Jimmy Foxx with a B-B-Gun. Excellent reunion from the two brothers, who seems destined to do a money-spinning nostalgia run in TCW tag division. This match gets the show off to a strong start. [71]

Despite a good match, another loss for Benson & The Foxx, who fall again in the tag team rankings. The Biggins Boys returns backstage as Benny Benson helps Flying Jimmy Foxx, still stunned after the defeat. OH WAIT! Benny Benson gives a pat to the back of Jimmy Foxx, before hitting him with a vicious Superkick and turning on him. After a beatdown in the ring, staff members have to come out to stop Benny Benson. [59]

Mr. Lucha III vs Gino Montero
“El Hijo de la Leyenda” Gino Montero makes his TCW debut, going one versus one with fellow mexican wrestler, Mr. Lucha III, accompanied by Vinny Cruz. In a decent match, Gino Montero is able to score the W, defeating Mr. Lucha III in 20 mins by pinfall with a Montero Press. The contest may have been better, but the two wrestlers don’t seem to click and it made for an awkward bout. Still, this match gets the crowd buzzing and presents a new interesting worker in the company. [56]

Texas Brawl: Dazzling Dave Diamond vs Texas Hangman
In a texas brawl where anything goes, Dazzling Dave Diamond challenges Texas Hangman in singles action, with the agreement that no one, not even Maverick will interfere. After almost 10 mins of brutal violence, Maverick comes in to attack Dazzling Dave Diamond with a steel chair. Texas Hangman, however, blocks Maveric, as the two begin to push to take control of the steel chair. Texas Hangman use his strenght to snatch the chair from the veteran’s hands, as Maverick ends up being swinged outside the ring. “The Hangman” turns with the chair in hands, being reached by a straight punch from Dazzling Dave Diamond who hit the chair and impact on Texas Hangman’s skull: COLLATERAL! Texas Hangman gets knocked down, being pinned by DDD. [59]

TCW Tag Team Titles: Human Army (c) vs Party Lovers vs NXT in LINE vs The Elite

Human Arsenal and One Man Army defend their title belts from the assault of Edd Stone and Danny Fonzarelli, Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson, Greg Gauge and Joshua Taylor, in a four-way tag team match that has great heat and good wrestling. The Party Lovers don’t make their best performance, as Edd Stone seems off his game. Meanwhile, TCW International champ Greg Gauge and Joshua Taylor have some miscommunication once again who cost them the chance to win the tag team golds. After 19 mins, Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson are able to score the pin on Human Arsenal, by using some dirty tricks. We got new champs! The Elite win the TCW World Tag Team titles for the 2nd time. [77]

Eddie Peak vs Wolf Hawkins
Both with a cheap on their shoulders and a desire to regain some momentum, the leaders of the two biggest stable in TCW collide in singles action. The contest has fantastic heat and great wrestling, with fans engaged even if the two workers are both heels, due to the fact that both are major stars with a lot of skills. During the match, the Syndicate (new champs Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson, Doc Hammond, Chris Flynn) comes out at ringside to intimidate Eddie Peak and backing up their leader Wolf Hawkins. After that, Sinner Society (Killer Shark, Titan, Nick Booth) join the party, arriving at ringside. From this point on, the situation become really hot, with altercations between Wolf Hawkins and Eddie Peak. It seems like they both want to just brawl and unleash some violence, not caring a lot about the ongoing match. In fact, after a few moments of stalemate, the Sinner Society and The Syndicate enter the ring and fight against each other! IT’S A WILD BRAWL! And the referee has no other choice but to call for a Double DQ. [83]

Mighty Mo, BLITZ! (Julius Moor, T-Bone Bright) vs Most Hated (Huggins, Speed, Hocking)
In a three versus three match, Freddy Huggins team up with Marc Speed and Matt Hocking, representing the Most Hated. Their opponents are big players indeed: the winner of the TCW Texas Heritage Tournament, Mighty Mo, and the BLITZ!, Julius Moor and T-Bone Bright. In a bout that has fantastic heat and great wrestling, T-Bone Bright scores the pin for his team after Matt Hocking gets Sacked’Up after 18 mins. Another W for Mighty Mo who keeps climbing the rankings in TCW, while the BLITZ! impose their dominance once again. [83]

PHmVoWw.png
TCW World Heavyweight Title: Jay Chord (c) vs Aaron Andrews

In an exceptional main event, Jay Chord and Aaron Andrews collide once again for the TCW World Heavyweight Title. Two of the brightest stars in Total Championship Wrestling don’t disappoint expectations, fighting a great match. After 20 mins of back and forth attacks, the referee gets accidentally knocked out. This opens the door to interferences, as Jay Chord screaming in pain for some help by the hand of partners Joshua Taylor and Greg Gauge which, however, do not appear on stage, leaving Jay Chord extremely pissed and alone. Aaron Andrews builds his momentum, finally climbing the top rope to finish the opponent with his Frog Splash: OH WAIT! A hooded figure climbs the barricades and reach the apron, dropping down Aaron Andrews. After that, the hooded figure enters the ring and target “The Ace” again: STAR MAKER! The man remove the hood, showing everyone his identity .. IT’S TROY TORNADO!! That egomaniac S.O.B. costs Aaron Andrews the main event, leaving the stage while Jay Chord ends the match with his Cradle Piledriver. [86]

Preview - TCW Psycho Circus 2020

Benny Benson vs Flying Jimmy Foxx
After having betrayed his partner and friend Flying Jimmy Foxx, turning heel in the process, Benny Benson has explained his reasons. Benson was tired of being relegated in the midcard, losing a lot of match alongside The Foxx, which he blamed the most. Benny Benson, now rocking a new all-black headband, said goodbye to the il’ nice kid. He’s angry and hungry, and wants something more for his career. The first step is a singles match against former teammate Jimmy Foxx, who definitely wants to avenge the vicious assault from his former friend.

Gino Montero vs Mr. Lucha III
The two mexican sensations collide once again, in a rematch of TCW Destructive Energy 2020, where Montero won in his debut. Mr. Lucha III’s manager, Vinny Cruz, did his job to ensure this bout for his client , as Mr. Lucha III is eager to avenge his recent loss. Gino Montero has agreed to another one versus one contest, knowing that going 2-0 against Mr. Lucha III could launch him as the top mexican star in TCW, if not in all the US scene.

The Biggins Boys (Bart Biggins, Brett Biggins) vs The Behemots (Killer Shark, Titan)
The Biggins Boys reunited at TCW Destructive Energy 2020, winning their match against Benson & The Foxx, which led to the heel turn of Benson on his partner. Already over with the fans who have patiently waited for their reunion, Bart and Brett Biggins are a tag team to look for here in TCW. And in order to redefine a ranking in the tag division, management has decided to put The Biggins Boys against The Behemots. A massive challenge for Bart and Brett, a great opportunity to bounce back for Killer Shark, who has recently shone in singles action, and Titan.

The Syndicate (Hammond, Chandler, Johnson) vs Human Army Machine (Human Arsenal, One Man Army, Daniels)
The new TCW World Tag Team champs, Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson (known as The Elite) received some heat from TCW fanbase after regaining the titles at the expense of Human Army in a four way match. Obviously, the two canadians did nothing to avoid the heat, mocking the fans and the former champs. This led to this three versus three match Human Arsenal and One Man Army join forces with ally Dean “Machine” Daniels, against The Elite and fellow Syndicate’s member Doc Hammond.

TCW International Title: Greg Gauge (c) vs Dazzling Dave Diamond
The International championship is on the line once again, this time in an All-US singles bout, as champ Greg Gauge has to defend the crown from the assault of Dazzling Dave Diamond, coming from some nice wins against rivals Maverick and Texas Hangman. A new fascinating challenge for “Triple D”, while Greg Gauge has the opportunity to make a huge title defense against a real fought contender. Greg Gauge, like Jay Chord after all, can not count on Joshua Taylor’s help, who’s on loan in PGHW.

TCW World Heavyweight Title: Jay Chord (c) vs Aaron Andrews vs Eddie Peak vs Mighty Mo vs Troy Tornado vs Wolf Hawkins
The Psycho Circus has arrived in town! The World Title is on the line as six men compete in this massive six-way match, scheduled for one fall. The champ Jay Chord has to defend the crown from the assaults of Aaron Andrews, who got robbed last month after the interference from Troy Tornado in his championship match, Troy Tornado himself, Eddie Peak and Wolf Hawkins, who battled up recently for taking the main event scene, and the TCW Texas Heritage Tournament winner, Mighty Mo. The champ’s reign is at risk, as he could lost his title belt without even being pinned or submitted. A must watch bout awaits for us!

Preview - TCW Open World: Canada

Toronto Brawl: Maverick vs Dazzling Dave Diamond
The canadian Maverick has challenged Dazzling Dave Diamond to a final bout between the two, this time in a Toronto Brawl, a gimmick match pretty similar to the Texas Brawl made popular by “Triple D”. With Texas Hangman out of the equation, went missing since TCW Destructive Energy 2020, Maverick seems to have aboslutely no fear of challenging “The Dazzling” at The G Davis Coliseum in Ontario.

Eddie Peak vs Brendon Bradley
Opportunity of a lifetime for the young canadian rookie from developmental , Brendon Bradley, who the management decides to test in singles action against a star like Eddie Peak. “The Hardcore Assasin” has claimed that he will crash the kid, feeling offended that he has to fight this rookie. Meanwhile, Brendon Bradley doesn’t seem scare at all, eager to have a stellar performance in his hometown Canada.

The Biggins Boys (Bart Biggins, Brett Biggins) vs The Behemots (Killer Shark, Titan) vs BLITZ! (Julius Moor, T-Bone Bright)
At TCW Psycho Circus 2020, Julius Moor and T-Bone Bright saved Bart and Brett Biggins from the assault of Killer Shark and Titan. Still, after claiming that they want to defeat The Behemots once again to become the next contenders at the TCW World Tag Team Titles, The Biggins Boys clapped back at BLITZ!, claiming that they two brothers should be the next in line. Tensions between BLITZ! and The Biggins Boys led to this three-way tag team match to determine which duo will be the next in line to take on tag champs, The Elite.

The Syndicate (Hawkins, Flynn, Chandler, Johnson) vs Mighty Mo, Human Army Machine (Human Arsenal, One Man Army, Daniels)
Coming from a win against Human Army Machine in a three versus three match at the last event, The Syndicate is having a good momentum, as Wolf Hawkins is approaching the TCW King of Kings Tournament, which he won last year, and The Elite are the current TCW World Tag Team champs. In a wild four versus four match, The Syndicate (represented by leader Wolf Hawkins, member Chris Flynn, and canadians Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson) take on Human Arsenal, One Man Army, Dean Daniels and the babyface star Mighty Mo, another fan favourite to win the upcoming TCW King of Kings Tournament.

TCW International Title: Greg Gauge (c) vs Johnny Bloodstone
4-time NOTBPW Canadian champ and canadian star Johnny Bloodstone has the chance to make an impact in his hometown, debuting in Total Championship Wrestling in a title match against Greg Guage, for the TCW International Title. “The Submission Demon” is a superb technical wrestler who specialises in taking opponents apart with precise submission holds and slick mat work. Greg Gauge is a star in the making, eager to submit “The Submission Demon” himself with the legendary Proton Lock.

TCW World Heavyweight Title: Jay Chord (c) vs Edd Stone vs Freddy Huggins
And in the main event, the two brightest canadian stars in Total Championship Wrestling, Edd Stone and Freddy Huggins, have the opportunity of their life in this three-way match for the TCW World Heavyweight Title, held by the american Jay Chord. Of course Edd Stone and Freddy Huggins are bitter enemies and this match is another landmark in their never-ending rivalry. Jay Chord, who has recently retained his world championship in a six-way match, has to defend his throne once again in a multi man match. Something that he isn’t really happy about.

I don’t know who Brendon Bradley is, but it would be a big upset if he took this.

I think the Behemoths win to get their heat back.

TCW Open World: Canada

Held in front of 24,664 people in The G Davis Coliseum

Toronto Brawl: Maverick vs Dazzling Dave Diamond
In the opener of the night, the canadian Maverick takes on Dazzling Dave Diamond in a Toronto Brawl, a gimmick match pretty similar to the Texas Brawl made popular by “Triple D”. In a bout that has great heat and good wrestling, it’s Dazzling Dave Diamond to score the pin once again, defeating Maverick in 15 mins by pinfall with a Dazzle Driver. This match gets the crowd hotter and gets the show off to a strong start. [75]

Eddie Peak vs Brendon Bradley
The hometown rookie Brendon Bradley, coming from TCW’s developmental company, faces his biggest challenge of his career so far, going against Sinner Society’s leader Eddie Peak. “The Hardcore Assassin” initially underestimates his opponent, who showcases some real raw talent in front of The G Davis Coliseum. In a bout that has decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Eddie Peak defeats Brendon Bradley in 13 mins by pinfall with a Peak Of The Devil. [54]

With TCW King of Kings Tournament approaching, TCW announces that the round robin tournament will feature sixteen workers divided in two groups. In Group A the contenders will be: current World Heavyweight champion Jay Chord, current International champion Greg Gauge, Joshua Taylor, as we complete the trios of the NXT in LINE, One Man Army, Edd Stone, Dazzling Dave Diamond, Flying Jimmy Foxx, Benny Benson. [69]

The Biggins Boys (Bart Biggins, Brett Biggins) vs The Behemots (Killer Shark, Titan) vs BLITZ! (Julius Moor, T-Bone Bright)
In this three-way tag team match to determine which duo will be the next in line to take on tag champs, The Elite, we witness a bout with good heat and decent wrestling, After 10 mins The Biggins Boys score the W by relying on their chemistry and brain, in this wild brawl against some real heavyweights. BLITZ! and The Behemots have been focused more on each others, leaving Bart and Brett Biggins as a third party. Bart Biggins scores a flash pin on Titan to win the match. [70]

TCW also announces that for each group of the upcoming TCW King of Kings Tournament, only two wrestlers will qualify to the Semi-finals, that will take place at the TCW King of Kings 2020 event. The contenders of Group B will be: former King of Kings Aaron Andrews, last King of Kings Wolf Hawkins, Human Arsenal, “The Gem” Freddy Huggins, leader of Sinner Society Eddie Peak, Troy Tornado, Mighty Mo, Doc Hammond. [79]

The Syndicate (Hawkins, Flynn, Chandler, Johnson) vs Mighty Mo, Human Army Machine (Human Arsenal, One Man Army, Daniels)

Wolf Hawkins has been head and shoulders above everyone else. [75]

In an angle inside the squared circle, “Ace” Aaron Andrews finally goes face-to-face with Troy Tornado. After months of subtle tensions and a mild friendship, Troy Tornado turned on Aaron Andrews on TCW Destructive Energy 2020, attacking “Ace” in the main event and cost him his world title match. “The Tornado” clearly did that out of envy, after being unable to defeat “The Ace” for the TCW World Heavyweight Title multiple times. Aaron Andrews says that he considers Troy Tornado a failure, unable to accept that “The Ace” is stronger than he is. Of course this has become personal, and Aaron Andrews will take revenge on Troy Tornado soon. Troy Tornado then leaves the ring, claiming that if they will face up in the King of Kings Tournament, he will finally defeat “The Ace”. [79]
