@gazwefc83 One thing I noticed is that they seem sort of pixelated in-game? Is that due to them being 200x200 or am I doing something wrong?

Ooo im not sure, iv not tested them ingame. I can reupload them in 150x150 if thats the issue

It's really only in-game. When you look at them in the folder, they look perfect. I'm not sure whether that's the reason for it, that's why I asked. It would suck if you go through the trouble of re-sizing them to 150x150 and there's an easier work-around.

I can just run them through a batch process, wont take long. Im away from my computer atm tho.

 

Edit: Damn, just realised that quality was set to 5 and not 10 when i ran the last batch. Ill redo and upload asap

Yes it’s likely because engine (VB) has a very crude resizing algorithm (or it’s relying on windows) which is nowhere near as good as any image editing software. So unfortunately to get a clean look you have to re-size to 150 x 150 outside the game.

Ok so the issue was my dumb ass converted everything from 500x500 png to 200x200 jpg but at 5 quality instead of 10. I have replaced the link in the other post and here is the new link now all at 150x150 and maximum quality - https://www.mediafire.com/file/k7jbifhv3v3nq4w/People.zip/file

Fantastic stuff @gazwefc83 - 700+ renders is absolute dedication, looking forward to seeing it through to the end. Would be awesome to have a CVerse mod where every single worker has the same style render.

Thanks mate, the best thing is that it doesnt feel like a chore either, im really enjoying it.

At first i was cutting the renders as they generated and it felt abit messy switching from tab to tab and different software. Got my process down now tho, i just generate a whole roster and save them into their promotions folder, then cut them once they are all generated.

Iv now got 3 folders, 500x500 transparent png, 150x150 jpg on CV background and a third folder with all the raw renamed full renders

Outstanding work fella. Feel like it's going to breathe new life into games for me now too. And I'm happy to see some of my creations made the cut. Happy to hear it doesn't feel like a chore either. I've considered this but in my head it just feels like work.
