Vita listens and thinks about her proposition and says that she might be right, two people can shine bright together, but only if both of those people get the same amount of help from each other, Vixen promises that and much more, extending her hand, Vita shakes her hand as they walk off screen, discussing their plans. • Rating: 32

Another match for the first round of the tournament, Erika Reid trying to defend herself from the strikes that KZT were throwing at her to start the match, one that had KZT taking command of the match at the first half of the fifteen minutes, but in the second half, slowly Erika would find openings to get her offense in, and out of nowhere hit a Twist of Fate to finish off KZT, winning the match and advancing to the next round.

• NEO-WAVE World Title Tournament: Round of 16
Deonna Purrazzo vs. Kakeru Sekiguchi – Rating: 47 •

Deonna made her in ring debut with an amazing performance against Kakeru, two wrestlers that have different paths in their career, both have held titles in the past, Kakeru mostly tag team titles, but this a perfect way to start the show, the crowd seem into the match and both wrestlers gave everything in this one, after fifteen minutes of a pretty nice bout, Deonna Purrazzo won with a Cosa Nostra.

• NEO-WAVE World Title Tournament: Round of 16
Reka Tehaka vs. Marti Belle – Rating: 32 •

To follow that amazing match between Deonna and Kakeru was a hard task to ask for Reka and Marti Belle, but they went out there and in ten minutes delivered a nice competitive match to keep the crowd into the show for the rest of the matches, Reka was the more dominant in this match, pinning Marti Belle after a Coconut Crusher, after the match Reka Tehaka stood over Marti Belle, and then Allie showed up, with a microphone in her hand, she walks around the ring and explains why Reka Tehaka will be the one to take over in NEO-WAVE, her natural strenght and agility showed in tonight’s match is something that her opponents should watch out and fear. – Allie then gets in the ring and raises Reka hand up. “Bow down to the Samoan Savage.”

• We go backstage seeing Allysin Kay helping her friend Marti Belle with an ice bag after the match she had against Reka, Marti was shaking her head lamenting the way she lost to her opponent while Kay looked nervous for her match against Vertvixen, a scene that Marti never seen before, so Marti Belle got up from the chair and hyped up Kay, saying that she should not worry about VanStarr or Virtvixen, that she will be ringside if they intent to cheat, Marti closed the segment placing a hand on Kay’s shoulder, saying: “Show them once again why they shouldn’t mess with the AK.” – Rating: 35 •

• NEO-WAVE World Title Tournament: Round of 16
Allysin Kay vs. Vertvixen – Rating: 45 •

Allysin Kay and Virtvixen had a memorable match for the first round of the tournament, Vertvixen making her last entrance as DEFY Women’s champion, as she vacated the title later in the week, but she proved why she was a champion, going toe to toe against a legend like Kay, a more back and forth match in the first ten minutes of the bout, until VonStarr appeared in the ramp, coming down as Kay were preparing to hit her finisher, she placed Vixen down and stared at VonStarr until Marti Belle showed up behind in the ramp and attacked Vita, this gave enough time for Vertvixen to recuperate and attack Kay from behind, that’s when Marti Belle went down the ramp and tried helping Kay but the referee stopped her at the ropes until Vixen pushes Kay into the referee and Belle, Kay bounces back and gets out of the way of a running dropkick, picks Vervixen up and hits the AK-47, pinning her and advancing in the tournament.

• After the match, Marti Belle raises Allysin Kay hand up before they both start to attack Vertvixen, Kay yells out as she kicks and slaps Vertvixen. “You are trying to CHEAT ME? – DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?” – Until Vita VonStarr get in the ring and lays out Marti Belle and starts to brawl with Allysin Kay, who starts to reverse her punches until Jayde shows up from the crowd, jumping into the ring and attacking Kay, Vixen joins the attack as it’s now three on one, everyone hits their finisher on the AK-47, before they stand over both Marti and Kay’s body. – Rating: 37 •

• Ariam Mendez is backstage when she announces that in NEO-WAVE Genesis there will be a tag team triple threat challenge to crown the first NEO-WAVE Tag Team champions, and K2 is confirmed to be in the match, after two amazing performances in the first two shows, and next week she will announce another tag team that will participate in the match. – Rating: 64 •

• NEO-WAVE World Title Tournament: Round of 16
Ashley Vox vs. Kaho Kobayashi. – Rating: 48 •

Our main event of the evening, the crowd giving a major pop for both entrances, Ashley Vox making her first ring match in a long time, and as the match started the crowd could feel that Kaho Kobayashi was all business today, every single move she did or received, you could see that it shifted how she approached the next one, having a technical strategy match against Vox, both wrestlers needing to prove something, Kaho who has been seen as an underdog her entire career so far, while Vox is trying to prove that she can be more than a tag team phenom, this one went for twenty minutes to end the show and the ending came after Kaho Kobayashi caught Vox in the corner, went behind and hit a German Suplex, not once, not twice but three times in the middle of the ring, each one harder than the other, the last one with a bridge pinning Vox and qualifying for the quarter finals, after the match, Kaho Kobayashi left the ring and celebrated in the ramp, the crowd cheered her on to end the show.

• Allysin Kay opens the show going to the ring, Marti Belle next to her and as Kay grabs the microphone, the crowd cheers Vertvixens’ name. Allysin says that what happened last week was just another day in her life, people trying to take her down, but she was not made to back down from any challenge and winning this tournament and being the first NEO-WAVE World Champion will be the cherry on top of a legendary career. Marti Belle then is handed the microphone, aiming her comments at Vita VonStarr, saying that she did not come to NEO-WAVE to be second fiddle to losers like Vertvixen and Vita VonStarr,, and tonight she promises to put an end to Vita VonStarr in their singles match, later tonight.

Kay grabs the microphone and finishes the promo by saying to the crowd that she has not forgotten about Deonna Purrazzo and their match tonight, but to Kay, Deonna is not even a challenge she seems as difficult, and that Kay is ready to prove once again that people should fear the AK-47. – she drops the microphone and they both leave. – Rating: 35 •

• NEO-WAVE World Title Tournament: Quarter Finals
Reka Tehaka (w/ Allie) vs. Erika Reid – Rating: 34 •

Reka Tehaka made her entrance second and while walking down the ramp, accompanied by her manager Allie, who began to trash talk the people of New York, telling them they should bow down to their Samoan Savage Reka Tehaka, Allie continues speaking that there is not one person left in this tournament that could stop her client, and that tonight Erika Reid is just another victim. – as the last word escaped her mouth, the match started and Reka Tehaka wasted no time attacking her opponent, dominating this one for 7 minutes of action, Erika Reid tried everything, but it just seems that Reka is on a amazing run right now, a Coconut Crusher and a pin to advance to the next round of the tournament, after the match, Allie raised the hand of Reka, who’s showing dominance right now in the ring.

• NEO-WAVE World Title Tournament: Quarter Finals
Aoi vs. Mae Sebera. – Rating: 38 •

The novice Aoi heavily cheered on from the crowd had the most important match of her career so far, confronting someone like Mae Sebera, who seemed confident in her second match in NEO-WAVE, having the most offense in this David vs. Goliath match up, Aoi being a quite technical wrestler, used all her knowledge she has gained so far to stay alive in this one, a match that went the distance of fifteen minutes and ended after Mae hit her finisher to advance in the tournament. – after the match, Mae waited for Aoi to get up and shook hands with the Japanese young star in the making as the crowd cheered both competitors.

• Ariam Mendez is backstage with AKINO and Sonoko Kato, as they signed a few papers to be included in the tag team triple threat match, Kato and AKINO thank Ariam before leaving when suddenly, Ashley Vox steps into frame, she looks at Ariam and says that she is here to enter the match at NEO-WAVE for the tag team title, Ariam responds that she needs a partner first to enter the match.

That’s when Delmi Exo appears next to Ashley to the surprise of the crowd, former tag team champions, Team Sea Stars, Vox and Exo sign the contract – and Ariam Mendez smiles seeing the future matchup between K2 and Team Sea Stars, after Vox and Exo leave, Ariam makes a phone call, hyping up that the third team will be here in a few weeks. – Rating: 60 •

• NEO-WAVE World Title Tournament: Quarter Finals
Kaho Kobayashi vs. Su Yung – Rating: 50 •

Su Yung and Kaho Kobayashi set up a nice atmosphere with their entrances a big match feel as the crowd got ready to see a one of the best matches so far here in NEO-WAVE, two wrestlers that are different in their own unique ways, bringing in back and forth offense, this match went fifteen minutes of amazing wrestling until Su Yung hit Kaho with a hard slap in the corner, picking up her opponent, going around to hit the Panic Switch but Kaho reversed in the last second and went behind to hit the German Suplex with a bridge, pinning Su Yung and qualifying to the semi-finals of the tournament, the crowd cheering Kaho heavily a good pop for a wrestler who seems to be gaining more momentum as the weeks go forward.

• Vita VonStarr vs. Marti Belle. – Rating: 28 •

Marti Belle theme song hit and she started to make her entrance, but only got to halfway down the ramp before Vita VonStarr and Jayde attacked her, they both hit their finishers on her and Irish whip Marti into two different corners of the outside barrier, the match didn’t start, it was cancelled as Marti got help from the doctors and staff while Vita and Jayde laughed all the way up back up the ramp.

• NEO-WAVE World Title Tournament: Quarter Finals
Allysin Kay vs. Deonna Purrazzo – Rating: 54 •

Before making her entrance, Kay passed by Marti Belle who was getting help from the doctors, Marti seemed to be out for the rest of the night, injured, so Kay knew coming down to the ring that she was all alone against Purrrazzo. Who made her entrance elegantly it seemed like the crowd is on her corner for the night, the match started slow with both wrestlers working their signatures offenses, an open match from the beginning, with Kay every time looking over her shoulder waiting for Virtvixen or Vita VonStarrr to appear but this went fifteen minutes interrupted, until Kay hit Deonna with the AK-47, that’s when Vertvvixen theme song hit, and the trio of Vertvixen, Vita VonStarr and Jayde came down the ramp slowly.

jayde.png.e44fcbc348e9405fe058c8bec20f3815.pngvertvixen.png.91252f70793e9ee5c43518843fd73d7e.pngvitavonstarrr.jpg.89858d9080809e9446528942c471c6d3.jpg

Kay was alone in this one, so she decided to take the fight to them, but as soon as she tried getting out of the ring, Deonna pulled her back in, Vertvixen and the other two partners watched as lumberjacks circling the ring, keeping Kay inside before Deonna hit the Cosa Nostra and pinned Allysin Kay to win the match and advance to the next round.

After the match Deonna celebrated and stepped out of the ring and made her way halfway up the ramp, that’s when Vertvixen and her partners stood in different sides of the ring, Kay slowly getting up now had a three on one fight in her hand, Deonna looked on in the ramp with the crowd cheering her on to go help Kay and that’s what she did, coming back and standing next to Kay, now it was a two on three battle. Vertvixen waited a few seconds, until she finally signalizes for the other two women to leave and the show ends with Vertvixen and her partners going back up the ramp getting boo’d by the crowd, seemed like their job was only to take the AK-47 out of the tournament, the last shot is Vertvixen smiling as the camera cuts to Deonna checking in on Kay inside the ring.

Very good show! Sad I wasn't around to keep on top of predictions :p

Ashley Vox vs. Sonoko Kato

Kato is still good enough to put on a decent match, but at nearly 50 this must be an opportunity to put over Vox
Su Yung vs. Melanie Gray

Stalwart of European wrestling, or one of the best characters around? I'm taking Su
Reka Tehaka vs. Mae Sebera – NEO-WAVE World Title Semi-Finals

Good opporunity for Reka to take popularity for herself.
Deonna Purrazzo vs. Kaho Kobayashi – NEO-WAVE World Title Semi-Finals

Since Deonna seems to be a face, sadly think this is where Kaho falls

• HAMADA theme song hits to open the show, she stands at the ramp, bowing in respect for all the cheering that the crowd gave her so far, before Mima Shimoda theme hits also and she walks out as they both go to the ring together, HAMADA who can speak English grabs the microphone and starts to speak her gratitude that the crowd showed both her and Shimoda, but they are here to announce their retirement from Professional Wrestling, the crowd listens respectfully as HAMADA continues.

HAMADA announces that their retirement match will be in NEO-WAVE Genesis, a final match between these two legends of Women’s Wrestling and then they will act behind the scenes here in NEO-WAVE helping the new generation.

Mima Shimoda is handed the microphone and in Japanese she speaks about how important it is to end her career in a big event like NEO-WAVE Genesis, an ending for some of us is the start for some of the girls backstage like Aoi and Sae Nomura and much more, she then speaks about her time in Mexico and how important all of this was for her and she closes the segment promising to push NEO-WAVE to be a stable promotion in the business and make sure more women get the chance to show their talent.

After that they hug inside the ring promising an exciting and emotional final match for them and their wrestling careers. – Rating: 49 •

• NEO-WAVE World Title Tournament: Semi-Finals
Mae Sebera vs. Reka Tehaka – Rating: 37 •

Mae Sebera and Reka Tehaka is the open match that has a feel of main event, both wrestlers who were in the market before signing with NEO-WAVE, now right here only a match away from a tournament final that has the biggest prize in the whole company the world title. – This was an open match in terms of offense with Mae keeping up with the aggressivity that Reka dished out with her moves and throwing some of her own back at the Samoan Savage, Allie kept on cheering on her client, Mae trying to hit the Mae Bomb when Reka moves out of the way, waits for her to get up and goes for a clothesline, Mae ducks and run the ropes but on the rebound she meets Reka’s forceful palm who hits the Coconut Crusher and pins the veteran wrestler to move on to the finals. The crowd is electric, cheering on Reka who is the first to reach the finals, now waiting for her opponent that could be either Kaho Kobayashi or Deonna Purrazzo.

Sonoko Kato vs. Ashley Vox – Rating: 33 •

One of the matches to showcase the upcoming Tag Team Triple Threat match that is happening at Genesis, Kato vs. Vox, without their partners at ringside, this one was a quick and fast match between two veterans we could say, Vox and Kato trading blows at the end of this one before Vox hit a suplex and a splash to pin her opponent and win this one.

• Vertvixen, Vita VonStarr and Jayde make their way to the ring, after last week they took out both Allysin Kay and Marti Belle in different ways, Vertvixen is handed the microphone first and she starts to speak on the events of last week, on how their plan were mainly to take out both Kay and Belle and their plan went perfectly, the crowd who at the start of last week’s show seemed to be on their side, this time around they are booing their actions.

Vertvixen continues to speak that what the crowd and the people watching at home are seeing right now in the ring is the next big thing in NEO-WAVE, Vita VonStarr says that they are not just an alliance or a faction, they are the embodiment of power hidden in the shadow, Eclipsia. Jayde then says that Eclipsia is not just a word, it’s a revelation, a force to be unleashed upon NEO-WAVE, Vita VonStarr says that Eclipsia is not just a word or a revelation, it’s a promise that when they step into the ring, the world can witness a force that has been hidden, but since last week, it has been woken up.

Vertvixen ends by telling the crowd and everybody in the locker room to get ready, because when the shadows fall, Eclipsia will rise, and the world will witness a force that can no longer be hidden.

AllysinKay_alt4.gif.f418e9479967bd8c4525dbdbe96f6ad6.gif

Allysin Kay theme hits and the crowd gives a powerful pop for the AK-47, who tells Vertvixen to shut her trap, that last week was merely a hiccup on her way to the top, she might not be in the running for the title anymore, but that can wait, Kay is now focused on to destroying Eclipsia, and then Kay announces that she already talked with Ariam Mendez and that in NEO-WAVE Genesis, it will be Allysin Kay vs. Vertvixen. – Crowd erupts with that revelation, and Kay ends the segment by saying that Vertvixen will regret ever getting in her way. – Rating: 47 •

Su Yung vs. Melanie Gray – Rating: 38 •

Su Yung that got eliminated last week from the tournament aiming to get back into the winning ways, this time against an opponent like Melanie Gray, it was a nice cool down match that was decided fairly quick in the first ten minutes when Su Yung hit the Panic Switch and pinned her opponent to win, looking to cement a future chance at the NEO-WAVE World Championship perhaps.

• NEO-WAVE World Title Tournament: Semi-Finals
Kaho Kobayashi vs. Deonna Purrazzo – Rating: 55 •

Our main event of the evening saw two of the most over players in NEO-WAVE so far in a grand match for the semi-finals of the world title tournament, that brings someone that has been amazing so far in the tournament like Kaho Kobayashi and a established star in the United States that is Deonna Purrazzo, a back and forth match that saw Kaho Kobayashi use all her intelligence to outsmart Purrazzo, getting out of a package piledriver, setting up her picture perfect German Suplex only to have Purrazzo reverse that and lock her in the Fujiwara Armbar, Kaho tried crawling to the ropes but after twenty minutes of a NEO-WAVE early season classic, Kaho taps out and Deonna Purrazzo will confront Reka Tehaka at NEO-WAVE Genesis in the finals for the title.
