Mikey does something to cement how dark he is but it could cost him the World title.

UNDER CONTROL 2020

(Saturday, week 2, September 2020. Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, MO. Attendance: 40933 SELL OUT!)

Halsey's song "Control" plays to open the show in Kansas City. It's the fourth time this year a SWF event surpasses 40000 fans.

Cage Match

ALL-AMERICAN ARMY (ONE MAN ARMY, VALIAN and JACK GIEDROYC) vs HOLLYWOOD UNCENSORED (HOLLYWOOD BRET STARR, MAINSTREAM HERNANDEZ and LENNY BROWN w/ Justin Sensitive)

After Mainstream Hernandez escaped the cage at Welcome To The Jungle to give the victory to Hollywood Uncensored, this time the only way to win is by pinfall or submission. It was a great match to work the crowd in Kansas City with All-American Army fans all over the place.

After warming up the fans a little bit and some provocations by Hollywood Uncensored, One Man Army and "Bad Bad" Lenny Brown got stuck into a fierce fight. It was only stopped by Hernandez's accidental landing on them after Giedroyc pulled his leg when he was climbing to the top rope. Valiant tried to submit Hernandez with the V-Split but Bret Starr helped him.

We got into a chaotic phase with the six wrestlers exchanging blows in the middle of the ring. Hernandez is able to fly this time just to crash on them all. The fans chant "S-W-F! S-W-F!" as One Man Army gets up to deliver the Guided Missile on Lenny Brown against the cage. Justin Sensitive tried to help his teammates from the ringside but Valiant tells him "not this time!".

Giedroyc took the opportunity to hit Bret Starr with the Commonwealth Punch. Then Valiant & Giedroyc combine for the Atlantic Missile so that Giedroyc could pin Bret Starr for a victory in 18 minutes. Spectacular celebration by All-American Army with the fans, while a furious looking Bret Starr leads Hollywood Uncensored to backstage.

PAUL HUNTINGDON vs SEAN MCFLY

Sean McFly's entrance got the 2nd biggest pop of the night in Kansas City. Duane Fry said "the fans love him, what a legend" as the veteran wrestler showed a total domination of the scene (82)

The first match in his return to SWF for McFly was a technical masterclass that didn't deliver as expected. After a slow start full of strategy to create some anticipation they began grappling. Both wrestlers made some submission attempts and the pace of the match was still very slow.

The aristocrat Huntingdon tried a piledriver and McFly reversed it to a pinfall but he kicked out at 2. With McFly gaining momentum and the crowd chanting his name, the last attempt by Huntingdon to turn around things didn't work and Sean McFly finished Huntingdon with the Delorean Driver to win the match.

ANGLE: After Sean McFly interrupted his speech in the last episode of Supreme TV, Remo surprisingly steps into the ring to take revenge. Remo is out of control and delivers spear after spear until McFly can't get up and then destroys the legend with The Destroyer. "Don't you ever dare interrupt me again, Sean! Are you listening? (screaming in his ear) Never again!".

It seemed like it was over but Remo takes McFly's body and walks to the ramp. "What the hell is he doing?" asks Emma Chase at the announcers table right before Remo powerbombs McFly through a metal stage. "Oh no!" screams Emma Chase (71)

THE AWESOMENESS (JEFFERSON STARDUST & HUEY CANNONBALL) (c) vs FAITH & OLD GLORY (MATTY FAITH & MASKED PATRIOT)

Jefferson Stardust Unleashed copia.pngHuey Canonball Unleashed mini.pngvst white.pngimage.pngimage.png

4th title defence for The Awesomeness. Masked Patriot performed well to match Huey Cannonball in the first minutes. The masked wrestler could corner Huey a couple of times and punish him there a little bit but Huey's ability let him escape to land on him with a moonsault first and then tag his partner.

Stardust dominated Matty Faith with flashy moves until The Awesomeness combined for the Shock And Awe and Huey pinned Faith to retain in 10 minutes. Good match to steal the show.

PRIMUS ALLEN (w/ Kristen Pearce, Avalanche and Chill) (c) vs Steven Parker

minKristen_Pearce.pngminAvalanche Demolition.pngminChill Demolition.pngw/ Primus Allen Demolition copia.pngvst white.pngSteven Parker copia.png

A wild brawl. The Sensational was at a high level to start the match knowing this was a fantastic opportunity for him with some highlights like a great crossbody. It made Primus Allen raise the bar and soon he connected the Flying Lariat but Parker kicked out at 2. Parker did a good job with takedowns on Allen in different moments of the match and on the ground the forces where much more even thanks to Parker's technical skills.

One of these times, Parker tried to submit Allen with a headlock on the ground but Allen showed his incredible strength to get up with Parker on his back to execute the Running Powerslam. This time Parker couldn't avoid the 3-count. Primus Allen retains after 15 minutes of non-stop action.

Duane Fry yells "it's Devilfish!" as Lobster Warrior comes out accompanied by New Zealander wrestler Devilfish. "Now I understand why Nicky Gilbert told Lobster that he knew the biggest fan of Lobster Warrior!". Emma Chase commented "apparently Lobster Warrior was his inspiration for this gimmick. Anyway, let's see what he can do in the major leagues. They're facing The Unleashed Bumfholes tonight, it's no joke".

LOBSTER & DEVILFISH (LOBSTER WARRIOR & DEVILFISH) vs THE UNLEASHED BUMFHOLES (RANDY UNLEASHED & ZIMMY UNLEASHED

image.pngimage.pngvst white.pngRandy Unleashed copia.pngbZimmy_Bumfhole_altpreview.png

The Unleashed Bumfholes welcomed Lobster & Devilfish on the ring laughing as they were not familiar with the New Zealander. With the aim to steal the show, Zimmy and Lobster started the match. Zimmy put Lobster in trouble with a senton and a knee strike until Lobster slowed him down with a standing hold.

Later, Randy and Devilfish got tagged in. Randy laughed at him and Devilfish replied with the Devilfish On The Seabed (caterpillar dance) making Randy laugh louder until Devilfish came up to jump from the ground and hit him on the head with his foot. Randy kicked out at 1 but the New Zealander made his presentation.

Lobster got tagged in again to took over and trap Randy into the Lobster Claw. Zimmy tried to help his partner but Devilfish prevented it. Lobster & Devilfish won their first match as a tag team and the fans went crazy.

Main Event: SWF World Heavyweight championship (Cage Match) SWF_World-removebg-preview mini copia.png

ROCKY GOLDEN (c) vs MIKEY LAU

image.pngvst white.pngimage.png

Rocky and Lau have a great start of the match exchanging blows in the middle of the ring and it quickly turns into a wild brawl with them fighting on the ground with punches, elbow blows and kicks. Lau got up earlier to wait for Rocky with a flying kick. The champion reacted to lift Lau and launch him against the cage.

Rocky punched Lau in the mid section repeatedly until Lau got rid of him with a high knee and them kicked him on the ground viciously before stomping his head. Lau pinned Rocky but the champion kicked out at 2.

Rocky's nose and lips were already bleeding but the champion reacted to even things with a great hook that caught Lau off guard and then cornered him against the cage to hit him with good combinations.

vdDamian Carvill mini.png

Suddenly, Lau's manager Damian Carvill, who was banned from ringside, appears on the screen. This distracts Rocky enough for Lau to hit him with the Scything Side Kick.... "Could it be? New champion...?" yells the announcer Duane Fry... "No! Somehow Rocky kicks out at 2!".

The champion begins his comeback with punches to the upper body and frenetic footwork to dismantle Lau and finally the Rocky Road... 1... 2... 3!!! "Rocky retains! Rocky retains!" yells Duane Fry.

There was a mistake with the bonus question because it was a PPV and not a weekly TV show, so there is no bonus in this round.

Yes! They are basically even now, although technically at Welcome To The Jungle it was American Machine and All-American Army teaming up to face the 4 members of Hollywood Uncensored.

The Unleashed Bumfholes clearly underestimated Lobster & Devilfish in this match.

@Wrestling Machine It was tempting to give Mikey Lau the title because he's been brilliant lately but I have too many good options right now, some of them totally unexpected. The mission to make Lau a star has been completed, I think. @SIser187 well, it was probably more a thing that Damian Carvill did, finding the loopholes to interfere in the match, than Mikey but Mikey showed how vicious he can be fighting in a very different style to what he did when he was a face.
