I'll probably bring over some of the Rockverse characters because Club Exotico and The Sins are my babies and Devil's Playthings, El Chupacabra, Mr Mosca and a few others are just too fun not too. He is a really useful free agent and it just made me think about how you created something incredible around him. And I actually like the default data and I like that we have two different styles. The Default that allows us to get in the game with a solid base to change and yours that throw us in a world completely changed, amped to the max and where everything can happen. Yeah I've always loved the CVerse, it was playing it so much that inspired the mod as I felt I was started to play on repeat, always knowing who to sign, who'd turn great etc. I have tried to create a bit more of an air of competition. There were more bigger promotion to start as I wanted workers to potentially be stolen, but with the TEW20 finances that wasn't really an issue. I am hoping with finances toned down that in TEWIX humans may actually find themselves having to lose top stars even when working for a large company. Download link updated for version 1.03! Most time consuming was changing the weights of workers if they'd gone through changes in my mod, which meant making two MDB files from TEW20, one of my mod one of default, putting in spreadsheet and looking through nearly 3000 thousand records comparing size and shape of each worker. Stopping to change in editor if needed...that was effort! Typing up the business histories was oddly not too bad, new attributes was a bit annoying, and belts hardly took any time at all which actually worried me I was missing something...but yeah editing those weights was the worst lol I still need to look over anyone non-canon, and find out who has gone through name changes as they won't have default heights, weights DOB, but while on that spreadsheet I at leas got a good 20-30 sorted I think. lavelleuk Posted August 7 Author Share Posted August 7 So sorting out the right sort of heights and weights was more work than I thought, or maybe not more work but certainly took longer. I looked through every single male wrestler profile, including default workers, to see if they had height and weight in bio as in the past I may have changed the weight part if someone bulked up/slimmed down in my mod. As for non-canon workers, the weight converter does a solid job tbf, although if you go by TEW20 weight lists lightweight can be as low as 180lbs, and light heavy as high as 290lbs, so what i found was workers who converted over either tall or short all ended up with a sort of "base" minimum (190lbs) or maximum (290lbs) meaning hundreds of workers could have the same max or min, which would create a world where potentially everyone becomes the same. Because Astil adjusted heights for me post-conversion too it meant there were a few 5'5 guys who could get up to 260lb, or things of that nature, that goes against default data. Anyway, enough broing you, long story short if you see any guys who don't seem quite right please let me know and I'll take a look. I am releasing next version of the beta now as now the game has been released I can look at finances, which are higher priority then things like random European unemployed guy having a height and weight that matches his bio lol I also added career goals or new attributes where I thought appropriate. This includes on some default guys who might not have the attribute, but I feel they give workers a bit more personality and more flavor of who they are, but don't worry it's a minority of guys. I think there being non is preventing features like wrestlers showing up looking for work or to hang out with friends and the new weather system from being implimented for the mod. Since I haven't really seen either of these things occur yet. Edit: along with that, I noticed that WCG didn't have the tour settings set up yet (the "start of tour/end of tour") so despite having tours technically, you can't sign anyone to touring contracts. As someone who had to reschedule a bunch of tour events, I found out that the easiest way to do it is to use the mass edit feature to make sure that the tour dates and events that they are supposed to be on the same date and then using the positioning shift to determine when the tour shows occur. For example, for Mad Panda Wrestling I used the mass edit feature to set all events and tour dates to be on the third Friday of the month and made sure that each tour date was set to be in the same month as the event it coincided with. I then adjusted each tour date with the negative value in the position shift to tell the game how many days each tour date was supposed to be before the event. It is still a bit tedious, but it was better than when I tried to set each date individually and it also ensures that tour shows won't fall after the event that they are supposed to lead to.
