BCW: Boston Championship Wrestling: Bringing wrestling back to Boston!

Recommended Posts
Definitely a solid first show. Burning EXILE always gets snatched up and becomes the PGHW booker on about Day 3 in my games, so I'm impressed you got him to come in and work for you. Looking forward to more, especially since I'm from Rhode Island (lil' Boston). Any chance we're gonna see some "Southie Street Fights" in the future?
In my games he always become booker of WEXXV. But that's only with a PPA contract.
I like your idea for a company, do you have a logo for BCW? If so, you should totally post it in one of your next posts so I can copy it and put your company into my game when the full version comes out!! Thanks!
I use that ugly circular thing that's in both my banners as a logo. I ain't really happy with it. I'll try to make a new one when I'm bored. :)

Friday, Week 4, January 2007 vs Cal Sanders vs. Primal Rage A good opening match, which got the crowd warmed up. Primal Rage pretty much dominated this match although he was pretty close to tapping out at one point. Winner: Primal Rage Rating: D After the match Primal Rage wasn’t satisfied with the damage he had done and started beating down Sanders some more. Rating: F
vs Hardcore Match: Burning EXILE vs. Dog Fyte A great match for our standards. It sure as hell should’ve been a main event match and if there wouldn’t be a title match tonight, it’d be one. Burning EXILE won this match after sending Dog Fyte through a table with the Exile Driver. Winner: Burning EXILE Rating: C Burning EXILE celebrates his victory. Rating: F+
Dazzling Dave Diamond and Roderick Remus come out for their match. As the match is about to start loud music hits. Corporal Doom comes out with an old title on his shoulder. Corporal Doom: “Halt! Wait a minute! Do you know what that old thing on my shoulder is? Bomber, you must know? Or were you too high when you were carrying it? You should remember me beating you for this title in August 1977. This, ladies and gentlemen, this is the one and only Championship Wrestling from Boston! And since this is Boston, I am the rightful owner of the title. Those misfits over in the ring are fighting for something that I already own. But I’ll tell you what… I’ll defend my title against the winner of that match tonight! Rating: D [IMG]http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i232/tRyPi0/BCW/DazzlingDaveDiamond.gif[/IMG]vs Winner gets a shot at the BCW Championship Title: Dazzling Dave Diamond vs. Roderick Remus In this match both competitors spent about equal time on attack. But Dave’s moves did more damage and he won the match eventually. Winner: Dazzling Dave Diamond Rating: D-
[IMG]http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i232/tRyPi0/BCW/DazzlingDaveDiamond.gif[/IMG] BCW Championship Title Match: Corporal Doom (C) vs. Dazzling Dave Diamond This match was the worst of the night. Even though Corporal Doom was by far the most popular wrestler on the card. Dazzling Dave beat the odds and pinned Corporal Doom after a Dazzling Driver. Winner: Dazzling Dave Diamond (The NEW BCW Champion) Rating: E Corporal Doom crawls back up and shakes hands with Dazzling Dave. Rating: E+ Corporal Doom asks for a microphone and apparently has something to say. Corporal Doom: “First of all, Dave congratulations with your first title victory. And secondly, people I’ve got news for you. This is the last time in a while you’ll see me on smaller shows like this one as I’ve been offered a written contract by TCW. It was an offer I just couldn’t refuse. I’d like to thank you all for your boos during my matches. Maybe one day, I’ll come back to reclaim my title.” Rating: D-
Attendance: 9 Final Rating: E

Personal thoughts: I didn't expect Dog Fyte vs. Burnng EXILE to get a better rating as they actually have bad chemistry. What a crappy main event! I overestimated the power of overness, as Corporal Doom's pop is D+ while the best of my regular guys has E or E+. Dog Fyte and Exile both only have F+. Ah well, better next time. Note: I added a third logo for those who think photoshop's pattern "Metallic Landscape" is pubic hair  .
Note: I added a third logo for those who think photoshop's pattern "Metallic Landscape" is pubic hair  .
There's damn few of us weirdos left. And hey, it was still a pretty good show. I especially liked Corporal Doom "shooting" on Bomber with his "were you too high" remark. Getting a C rating for a big match like Exile vs. Fyte is killer for a promotion that size.

This is just for those who are interested in what's happening with the rest of the small promotions, you don't have to read this. This doesn't add anything to my shows or so, but I just like to know what's happening in the game world...

Nice first show. I too liked the Corporal coming in for a one-shot. Gave the championship and champion some credibility I think. And that's an awesome belt! How'd you make that? I've been trying to make a couple of belts but I can't figure out how to make them look "natural" in the game, if that makes any sense.

Using mainly punches and suplexes as his weapons. Winner: Jerry Martin Rating: E Jerry Martin takes a butcher knife from under the ring and gets back in it. He walks towards K-Squared’s body, but when K sees Jerry coming with a knife he roll out of the ring and runs to the backstage area. Jerry Martin is standing in the ring laughing loudly. Rating: E-

Two powerful individuals in the ring. Primal Rage showed more passion and willpower than Dog Fyte. Winner: Primal Rage Rating: D
Cameron Vessey: “Tonight is my first official match ever. And all of you in the crowd are about to witness the beginning of a new era! The Cameron Vessey era. You see, I am the son of the greatest tag team wrestler of all time, Larry Vessey. While you lousy beaneaters are spending all your money to see a wrestling show, my dad is headlining PGHW’s Sweet Pain Tour and earning millions of dollars. I was trained by him and my uncle and I’m nearly as good as them! I bet I can take on no matter which two wrestlers in a handicap match. But, since this is my first match I’m going to make it a bit easier and wrestle a one-on-one. So hereby I challenge anyone who wants to be part of history. Who’s gonna be the first wrestler to be defeated by the future of wrestling?” Burning EXILE comes out and seems eager to fight. Rating: E+ vs Burning EXILE vs. Cameron Vessey A good match, Burning EXILE had the upper hand and was about to win until Dog Fyte came out. Dog Fyte distracted Burning EXILE and Vessey won with a schoolboy roll-up for the victory. Winner: Cameron Vessey Rating: D Dog Fyte gets into the ring and starts beating Burning EXILE. Burning EXILE fights back, but when Cameron Vessey helps Dog Fyte, EXILE’s overpowered. The only thing he can do is try to take as few damage as possible. Rating: F+
Attendance: 9 Final Rating: D

- A good show in my opinion - Happy with Vessey's performance. - Too bad Vessey and Exile have bad chemistry, else it could've been a better match. - Jerry Martin's match was as I expected.

The rules for it are quite simple. The title can only be defended in a Gauntlet match, a series of 1-on-1 matches, with at least 3 participants, including the champion. The Champion always starts in the first match. The order of the challengers will be decided by fate. The winner of the first match goes on to the second match, the winner of the second match goes on to the third and so on. The winner of the last match will also win or retain the title. The title also changes hands if the match is won by count-out or by disqualification. In a few moments the first ever Royal Gauntlet Title match will take place.
Take a real life belt and sort of "draw" over it with photoshop, then to fill the empty space I just added some tribals.
Guess I might've been overthinking it, making it more complicated than it has to be :) Good idea with the gautlet title. Should get some of your lowercarders an overness boost from title defences. I don't see many champions last long with the belt, though. They'll probably get worn out pretty quickly with so many matches per night.
