The referee tried to tell her to get back to her corner, but she was on a rampage and, at 7:45, he called for the bell. In our defence, it was the first time any of us had ever teamed up, but enough about my match...</p><p> </p><p> This match still followed the usual pattern for a tag team match, but didn't feel as obviously formulaic as ours had. They worked the crowd expertly, especially when building to the "hot tag" in the latter part of the match. Tamara showed no fear, snatched the microphone from Talia and said "if I can't beat you, I don't deserve to continue my career! You're on!"</p><p> </p><p> The match told a great story of Talia dominating, but being unable to put Tamara away. Tamara was clearly determined to hold onto her career, and eventually fought right back into the match, eventually catching Talia in the McFly Roll for...</p><p> </p><p> <strong><em>TWO!</em></strong> Talia kicked out, and Tamara looked stunned! Would it be Good Lookin' Bunny again, keeping their newly-respectful rivalry going, or would it be The A-List? The last time these teams met, GLB were the champions and came away with the win. Would we see a repeat?</p><p> </p><p> In short, no. Cordelia (that's Devil's Daughter's real first name) kept the pace slow, grinding Suzi down and locking her in all manner of holds designed to wear her down. It is sounding really interesting and more engaging at the moment. I suspect there are lots of nuances not apparent in these changes until we get hands on and see how they work out. I'd actually like to see a combination of this new system and the existing "assigned push" system. The one flaw I see with this new system is that I can't see "Zack Ryder situations" or, conversely, "Jinder Mahal situations" surfacing in-game.

For starters, I was teaming with Ms Quine's personal protégée, Wendy, so if we had good chemistry, this could lead me somewhere! As well as that, we were up against Steph & Mary, who had both just lost their partners to NOTBPW, so I was rooting for them to work well as a team, too!</p><p> </p><p> As for the main card, there were three title matches, a number one contender's match, and a grudge match featuring Tamara McFly! If this isn't our best show of the year, I'll eat my hat, I muttered aloud.</p>

<p>Thursday, Week 4, June 2016</p><p> </p><p> North Of The Border Pro Wrestling's TV deal only covers Canada, so I couldn't watch Cherry's debut live, but I read an online report the next morning that said she'd debuted by getting into a brawl with former NOTBPW Women's Champion, Amber Allen. It was rated the worst segment on the show, but I was super proud of her all the same!</p><p> </p><p> No sign of Jaime or Zoe just yet, but I was sure they'd show up soon enough...</p>

They were very much an experiment, and one that failed. Cherry and I will be going back to the booking that brought us more success towards the beginning of the year, as well as bringing any current storylines to their logical conclusion. The first difference is that I will absolutely not be stepping back into the ring any time soon! Even after my limited involvement, I'm still aching today!</p><p> </p><p> Now, onto some unfortunate news. Jaime has signed a written deal with North Of The Border Pro Wrestling. While this is a big loss for us, this is a huge opportunity for her, and I wasn't going to try to stand in her way. I also think partner chemistry should still affect 6-, 8- or even 10-man tag matches. Being able to assign a creative team, I'd like to see more involved behind the scene staff. I want to make a writing team and have them pitch to me storyline ideas, I want a head road agent and a smaller team of road agents under that head and have them report issues with any talent. I want a creative team that suggests to me turns and possible gimmick changes. I want to be able to send scouts to other regions and have them come back with reports on possible talents I could sign and build and mold into stars. I want to be able to sign a head of security and get reports of anything out of the ordinary, this could be useful when other promotions try to use dirty tactics. Hell, even being able to appoint a senior referee would be cool. Even better if we did a brand split and each brand had it's own staff. I think all and all, I miss Sophie. Sorry if any of this has been posted before, I'm coming back from a extended stay in the hospital and haven't gotten around to reading all the posts yet.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This all sounds super cool.
