  1. Wow, that was a GREAT show! The Architect's scheming to align himself with a behemoth is a masterstroke that threw off everyone guessing, but it is a genius decision that totally befits his character. Is he laying the blueprints to build a stable where he surrounds himself with rookie monster bad ass heels for protection? This reader certainly hopes so! There's lots of available talent in that direction too, James Diaz, Original Sinner, even the already signed Texas Hangman fits the bill... Speaking of character work - that shone through in the 3 vs 3 match with the heels walking out on Rafael. Both doing so in different ways too which was nice. And then the twist of the main event. Poor Joffy Laine! He seemed all set to finally be the guy for a company, and you pull the rug out from under him! I've always seen Bradley Blaze as a babyface, so I'm really enjoying this iteration of him as not just a heel, but the top heel of a company. I struggle to see how the brash, cocky upstart Chip Martin fits in a stable alongside three bad ass renegade cowboys, and I don't mean that as a criticism, but as a sense of intrigue as to how you go about it.
  2. You do realise I could just predict exactly the same as you right now just to stop you? 😆 Luckily for you I won't do that - even though I think the PPV's have been where my predictions typically go down the pan for this diary! Alas, I shall continue with that tradition with these predictions: NWF Cruiserweight Championship: Welsh Dragon (C) vs JK Lee I like JK Lee between the ropes, and I wouldn't be disappointed with him winning here, but he's got as much charisma as a sheet of plywood. Actually that's quite unfair on plywood, they're typically made of multiple layers... Welsh Dragon continues to be the beating heart of the Cruiserweight division. NWF British Tag Team Titles: Future X (C) vs Chuck Frisby & Bret Heartbreak w/ Holly Leves I'm going for it lads! I think the temptation is too much for you not to put the belts on Frisby Foundation here. They've been the most entertaining aspect of your shows while I think Future X just haven't landed as much as an act, and are probably better served chasing the belts rather than holding them. Landon Mallory Open Challenge: Landon Mallory vs ??? Obviously this all depends on who the mystery opponent is, but Landon has featured heavily for you to date so I'm not going to bet against him. March Madness Match: Nate Manchester vs 'Big Mac' Nathan McKenzie From memory I'm not sure if Big Mac is tough and/or menacing enough to intimidate Manchester into the loss here, but that's what I'm going to speculate has happened backstage. NWF British Heavyweight Championship: Darin Flynn w/ Mark Moore vs Edison Silva (C) w/ Mo Adebola Though Silva gets the win I think the tension between him and Adebola continues to slowly build during these big, premium event matches - maybe the lawyer nearly costs Silva the title or something. Bonus 1: Who will answer Landon Mallory's Open Challenge? (1 point) Shimpei Hirose Is it any wonder my strong prediction scores always fall to pieces at the PPV with these sorts of predictions? No but seriously hear me out, in my saves Hirose and/or Kawagishi almost always fall out with Burning EXILE and quit EX2010. And the temptation is always to convince them to bring them in, they're so good. That's what I'm banking on here, especially because you're over a year into the game at this point, the falling out has likely already happened. Bonus 2: How many titles will change hands at 'March Madness' (out of 3)? (1 point) One At least according to the predictions I've made above. Tie Breaker: What will the three highest rated matches of the night be? (in order) 1. Darin Flynn vs Edison Silva I'm guessing that this is the only match where neither competitor is considered 'unimportant'. 2. Landon Mallory vs ??? Mallory can't put on a bad match, and unless his opponent is The Minor Annoyance then this match should make the top three. 3. Nate Manchester vs Nathan McKenzie In retrospect this match should probably be above the Landon Mallory match as Nate Manchester's popularity probably carries it just enough to a better rating, but I'll go for quality over popularity because that's real wrestling and not sports entertainment, damnit!
  3. So I finally managed to finish catching up with this after it had been on my list for a very long time! Loving what's been happening with LAP and excited to now join the journey up to speed.

  5. Dunton Hall is sat with a microphone propped up on the table in front of him as the video feed begins. The crowd of journalists, all in mid conversation, begin to hush at the behest of a stagehand who indicates that the post-show press conference is now live on OnDem. Dunton Hall: Hello everyone. Thank you all for sticking around following the conclusion of For Whom The Bell Tolls. I'm sure you are all very eager to get things underway and ask your questions, but before that I regret to inform you all that, despite being reminded of his contractual obligations by myself personally, the BOW World Champion Stevie Stoat has declined to attend tonight's post-show media call. He has however drafted a statement for release which he assures me will answer any and all questions you may have wished to ask him. Without further adieu I will read that statement for you all now. Dunton Hall opens an envelope and adjusts his reading glasses as he unfolds the piece of paper. The BOW CEO has a quizzical look on his face. It's blank. A couple of journalists laugh as Hall looks through the envelope again. The businessman offers a nonplussed expression as he pulls out a post-it note from the envelope, holding it up to the camera. It reads 'Do One'. The emphatic and inspiring words of the face of our company, ladies and gentlemen. No matter, in lieu of the World Champion's absence, I have arranged for us to be joined by not one, not two, but all three of our newly crowned champions tonight. I appreciate this may involve some reconsideration of your questions, so I'll invite all questions you may have prepared for myself first, and then we'll bring out our guests. So let's begin. Hi Mr. Hall, Ciaran Campbell here from Little Brits Of Wrestling. Tonight's card featured a long of strong bouts, but who do you believe had the match of the night? Oh man, where do I start? Can I say everyone? I mean, top to bottom, everyone on the card brought it tonight. Honestly, every wrestler showed up tonight, and I couldn't be prouder of the men and women on our roster for delivering what was undoubtedly our best show to date. Everyone involved should leave tonight proud because win or lose, they helped create a special show. I guess if you put a gun to my head and forced me to choose, I'd say that the main event was a very great contest. For as arrogant as he is, Stevie Stoat continues to prove that he still has 'it', and I think Landon Mallory continued to endear himself to the British audience with his valiant effort. Hey Dunton. Mark Willows from Fightr. Speaking of the main event, I have a two-parter for you. First, what are your thoughts on Walker van Cleer's actions in the main event? And will there be any disciplinary actions against him? It's tough, because as sports fans we always want the right outcome, the better competitor on the night to win the match, right? Unfortunately professional wrestling is a little different to other sports in so much that history is littered by examples of outside interference affecting the outcome of a match. And it's not always detrimental to the show either, some of the greatest moments in professional wrestling history include, or are a direct result of, third party involvement. So I'm loathe to come down too hard on it and try to eradicate it completely, because who am I to dictate that some of those memorable wrestling moments should have their legacies tarnished? I do agree there should be some consequences, and heavier punishments for repeat offenders, but sometimes the best course of action is to simply book a match between those involved, and let them duke it out in the ring. Give the wronged party the opportunity to enact his or her own justice on the perpetrator. Now, with all that said, in this instance Walker has affected the outcome of a main event World Championship match, and there does need to be consequences to that. I have an idea in mind, but I think I'm going to let things play out a little first. Now if that's everything for me, then please allow me to introduce our first guest. He is the first ever British Omega Wrestling Honour Champion. Please put your hands together for 'The Brewin' Storm', Lenny Mochin! Lenny Mochin joins Dunton Hall at the table, displaying his newly won title belt on the table in front of him. Hi Lenny, James Fiore from WrestleRoundup.com here. Congratulations on becoming the first BOW Honour Champion with your victory in the four way match tonight- Lenny Mochin: Thank you. -with such great wrestlers in the match, just how confident were you going into this match up? Pfft, very. You've gotta back yourself, yeah, like if you ain't betting on yourself, how can you expect anyone else to? I always back myself bruv, even when my back is against the wall. Not just as an athlete, yeah, but as a person in general. I know how good I am as a wrestler, as a technician, and now thanks to this bad boy in front of me- Lenny points to his Honour Championship belt. -so do all of you. Hey Lenny, Chris Jones, British Wrestling Observer. Tonight you beat Merle O'Curle, Konrad Makinen and Padraig O'Hearne in a fantastic match. But out of all three competitors you faced tonight, who deserves the rematch the most? Do any of them deserve a rematch? I mean, the four of us was in the ring tonight. We each had the same chance at walking out as Honour Champion, the difference is I'm the man who took his chance. Like Merle O'Curle, yeah, he's a man I respect a lot. A twenty year veteran who is one of the smartest men to ever step on a ring mat. And tonight I outsmarted him. Konrad Makinen, Padraig O'Hearne, I'm not denying their talent man, and I know they're at similar stages of their careers to me. So much so that this geezer here next to me has gone on record to say he sees the three of us as pillars to build BOW round. Well, I'm the pillar sat here with a title victory to my name. And not just any title yeah, but the Honour title, a championship meant to represent pure, respectful, legitimate wrestling. And we've got a roster here full of guys who deserve the chance to prove themselves. Is it respectful for them to wait it out while someone who already failed to win this belt gets another crack at it? Nah. Look at guys like Gram Gorman, even JK Lee who he beat tonight. Both great wrestlers in their own right who should be shooting their shot. Jason Dempsey yeah, he's been in some good form lately, and I know he's been chirpsing about wanting a shot at this championship. So you know what bruv? Now that I'm champion, come at me, make that challenge and I'll happily accept it. I wanna be a fighting champion, and I wanna be defending against guys who've earned their shot. So when Merle, Padraif or Konrad have done that again, then they can have a rematch. John McCarthy from IrishTopRope.com. Lenny, you've spoken about wrestling as a sport with a lot of respect and admiration, and tonight you were presented with that Honour Championship by one of the most respected men in the history of British wrestling in British Samurai. The same man who trained you to become a professional wrestler. Considering your history with British Samurai, how did it feel when he was the one to give you the Honour Championship? Oh man, it felt great. For him. I bet. Of course I was buzzing too yeah, but like I was buzzing to get the championship belt. I couldn't care less who was handing it to me. Don't get me wrong, like I get what you're getting at. I have tremendous respect for British Samurai, man's one of the best ever to do it. And I'll always be grateful for his guidance and training as I started out in this business, but like, he didn't do it for free. I paid my training fee every time, on time at the Ring Of Fire Dojo. It was a legit transaction, you know, the exchange of money for goods and/or services. I don't owe him nothing, not money or a claim to my success. You know, on the flip side, like do I now get a cut of the commission from his students because I'm a walking, talking example of how his teaching leads to success? No-one sees it like that. So why is everyone seeing this as a cute little shared moment between us? That wasn't our moment, it was my moment. It wasn't our accomplishment or victory. It was my achievement, my win. And this title belt isn't our Honour Championship, it is MY Honour Championship. And you people will do well to remember that. Now, if we're done here, I'm going to go and have a toast to my success tonight. Thanks. Lenny Mochin swipes his title belt from the table and makes a swift departure. Well folks, it looks like it's time for our next guests then. Please join me in welcoming the winners of the BOW Tag Team Championship tournament, and the inaugural tag team champions, Billy Robinson, Don Henderson, The Shooters. The journalists clap as both Billy and Don sit either side of Dunton, both proudly displaying their new title gold on the table in front of them. Billy Robinson: Hi everyone. Don Henderson: Hello all. Hi Billy, hi Don. Alan from GBTV Sport Centre. Tonight caps off an emotional journey for long term British wrestling fans as they got to witness your first title victory together in telve years. How does it feel to reunite and win a title after spending so much time apart? Aye, well I dunno about you Billy, but for me it felt like I was right back there in 2008. I'm sure there's some more wee grey hairs on my head these days than there was back then, nut winning this gold really did make it feel like these last twelve years were nothing but a dream. Obviously me and Bill went down different paths after ROF closed, and I'll pass over to him to give his story in a second, but for me teaming with Bill again, winning tag team titles with him again, it feels right. It feels natural. It's funny because for me, if anything it's been surreal. When Ring Of Fire shut down, I took that personally. It affected me a lot more than I let on. I don't think I've said any of this publicly before, but I had to step away from the sport, from this industry when ROF closed their doors. And then, when I felt stable enough to start wrestling again, to love wrestling again, I had to do it as far away from these shores as possible, so I moved to Japan. I never thought I'd ever wrestle in Britain again, right up until that phone call from Dunton here, I never saw myself getting into a British wrestling ring again. I didn't think I could handle it, you know, mentally, but when Mr. Hall told me about his plans for BOW and floated the idea of a Shooters reunion, it was... I dunno, it was weird man, but like a good weird. It unlocked this hunger in me, this desire to come back and finish the story. And that's what we're doing here now as the new BOW Tag Team Champions, we're finishing the story that we never thought we would get a chance to do. Hi guys, Jason Doyle of WrestleWorld News. One thing that this tournament has shown us is that there is a lot of depth in the BOW tag team division. So other than yourselves, what other team in the tournament impressed you? Both of us recognised a few of the teams heading into the tournament, we've even fought one or two of them before. And Donny has experience with some of them from his time in Europe too. But for me, I remember watching the first round match between Future X and The Foreign Legion and just thinking, wow, we have our work cut out for us here. This place is taking tag team wrestling seriously. And if there's one thing that's followed both me and Don throughout our careers, it's that we're serious about professional wrestling. We're old school man, we get excited by competition, we don't fear it. Come and fight us, bring your best, because we sure will be. So that match man, oh boy, those four men brought the house down. Aye, like Bill said, we are professional wrestlers. We love to wrestle, we love a good fight. I'm Scottish, you'll never see me duck a wee scrap. We want the best competition here, and this tournament brought exactly that. The Northern Lights took us to our limits, the match with The X Force in the finals was a tense showdown, but if I carry on here I'm just gonna list every team in the tournament for you. So I'll just stop myself here. Good evening, Martin Holdenberg of Wrestle News Now. What's next for The Shooters? Well I know Billy just said that we came here and reunited to finish the story, and this may be the final chapter, but we're only just starting it. I know my time is coming to start thinking about winding down, but I don't plan on calling it quits just yet. And Billy here, he's got a few years on me yet, he's still practically a wee lad in my eyes. So there's still a lot to come from us and in terms of what's next... ???: Oi. We'll tell you what's next. The camera zooms out to reveal Stefan Raynor and Louie Peyton of The Assassins' Guild have arrived at the edge of the table. Stefan Raynor: Us. We're next. Oh you are, are you? Louie Peyton: Yeah. We won our match tonight. We beat Royal Air Force. And now, we want those belts. Oh do you now laddy? Well as I was just saying, me and Bill, we don't shy away from a fight. So why don't you meet us in the ring on Wednesday at Night Of Wrestling, and we'll see if you two can back your words up, eh? Sounds good. You're on. Smug and satisfied, The Assassins' Guild slink away. Yeah, you got it. Be careful what you wish for, boys. Well, there you have it folks, an exclusive for you all. I'm not going to overrule that challenge, if you both want to defend your titles on Wednesday night then who am I to say no? The Shooters versus The Assassins' Guild, this Wednesday on BOW Night Of Wrestling streaming live on GBTV Sport. Thank you both for taking the time to join us here, and congratulations on winning the tournament and the Tag Team Championships. Dunton Hall stands alongside The Shooters, who shake his hand as they leave. And with that, it's time for our final guest of this evening. Ladies and gentlemen, the first ever women's champion in British wrestling history, please welcome 'The Red Queen' Thea Davis! Thea Davis walks out and warmly receives Dunton Hall with a hug. She sits beside him at the table, and has a huge smile on her face as she places the BOW Women's Championship on the table in front of her. Thea Davis: Hello everyone. Thanks for having me here. What a night for women in professional wrestling, right? I'm a bit sore from that hectic ladder match so you'll have to be patient with me, but by no means, don't take it easy. Let's get this under way. Hey Thea, Laura Hoyt from LadiesWhoWrestle.com. What up, girl? How does it feel to be the very first BOW Women's Champion? Oh man, it's a dream come true. It's cliché, but it really is. You know, like obviously my name is in the history books now, but to be the woman, the first woman to represent this country as a champion? It's what little Thea Davis dreamt of as a child. Honestly, I'm a very patriotic person, I really, you know, I love England, I love Britain. But I never got these chances here before. I had to go off to Europe, to Japan to get the opportunity to show how good a wrestler I am. Now I'm doing it on home turf. And in front of a lot of very loud, very interested British fans too. Like the support we women are getting right now, it's unbelievable. I really do hope every promoter, booker and wrestling enthusiast is paying attention right now, because as much as I am so thrilled to be holding this title, I should not be the first women's wrestling champion in Britain. There should be a laundry list of women who have wrestled in the UK and represented these great nations. But, if I've got to be the first, then you can be damn sure I will do it to the best of my ability and continue to put women's wrestling on the map here. Ciaran Campbell again from Little Brits Of Wrestling. Thea, what kind of reign can the fans and the ladies in the back expect from 'The Red Queen'? A long one. I don't plan on giving this belt up any time soon. When I said earlier that I'm a patriot, one of the things I love most about this country is Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. She epitomises class and dignity, and she's part of the reason why I settled on 'The Red Queen' as my wrestling persona. I don't think I'll be matching her nearly 70 year reign, but I will sure try! But it isn't just the length of the reign that's important to me. As I said before, we women are facing an uphill battle to prove that we are great wrestlers. And that battles just beginning. But what better way to prove how good we are, than having a fighting champion ready to take on any and all challengers? Well, to follow up on that answer, who do you think could be your biggest challenger in the women's division? Oh, any one of them. All the women on the BOW roster are really, really good competitors. Just look at tonight. I think each woman had a moment in the match where they shone, where they stole the show even if just for a moment. On another night it could easily have been one of those seven women sat here as champion and not me. I might not respect all of them as people, but I sure do as competitors. Come on Thea, give them all an answer. Don't sit on the fence! Well you're the boss, I can't say no to you, can I? Well I tell you what Dunton, if I give you the answer, will you book the match? I'll tell you, but I want to face them for this title on Wednesday night at Night Of Wrestling. How's that for a deal? You got it! Well in that case, there's one woman I think I've got some unfinished business with. K.T. Devonshire. I really want to go one on one with her. Not only has she also used 'The Red Queen' name in the past, but she reminds me a lot of myself in my early years. We have the same Flying Elbow Drop finisher, and she really did a number on me with that Northern Lights Suplex onto the ladder tonight. So please Dunton, give me Devonshire, one on one for the title next week. There's no way I could say no to that. You've got it Thea. A second title match booked for this Wednesday, Thea Davis will defend her title against K.T. Devonshire. With that bombshell announcement, I'll give way to one final question before we wrap things up. Ethan White from RingRoar Australia. Thea, as we've just seen you and Dunton clearly have a great relationship, there's a strong back and forth between you both. But earlier tonight there was an exchange in the ring when he presented you with that title belt. How awkward was having to hand the belt back to Dunton, just so that he could present it to you? If you don't mind, I'd like to take this one actually. Please go ahead. Like I said, you're the boss. So, that was down to me, and I hold my hands up to that error in judgement. Now, she isn't going to like that I'm saying this, but there's a woman backstage who has been integral to helping me put together this women's division. As you've seen previously, I've acknowledged the help I receive from British Samurai, Leo Price and UK Dragon in running BOW behind the scenes. Each of them has a specific division that they represent, Samurai the Honour division, Price the tag team, and Dragon is working on a project that will be unveiled in the near future. Well, the lead agent for the women's division is none other than Eva Berlin. In addition to leading her 'War Dog' client Clubber Kohl on violent escapades that terrorise the men's locker room, Eva has been instrumental in working behind the scenes with the women of the roster. Much like you saw with Price and Samurai, it was Berlin who was supposed to acknowledge the winner of the ladder match tonight. But she refused to do so, adamant that she wanted to keep her resolute, intimidating demeanour in tact. And if there's a man that's brave enough to stand up to Eva Berlin and tell her what to do... Well, it's not me. So with Berlin refusing to present the winner of the ladder match with a bouquet of flowers, I had to step in. Only, I didn't want BOW to appear patronising in having a man award a female competitor with a bunch of flowers, so I had to ditch them. Instead, I had to improvise on the fly, and that resulted in the awkward back and forth with the title belt that you all saw. I can only apologise, but take nothing away from Thea Davis here, she is a tremendous athlete and a deserving winner of the BOW Women's Championship. So congratulations to you Thea, to everyone else involved in making tonight's show such a success, and a huge thank you to everyone for tuning into this press conference. We will see you Wednesday night, for the next episode of BOW Night Of Wrestling. The feed ends.
  6. The Heartbreak Express (Johnny Needham, Ralph Liotta) vs The Oklahomans (Jason Patterson, Jules Night) [1 Pts] There's more immediate value in The Heartbreak Express. Prime Time Jack Pryde vs Tavon Blake Jr [1 Pts] Prime Time Jack Pryde needs the win more to legitimise his cache as the top talent among the rookies of the roster. The Hive (Quentin Queen, Remmy Honeyman) vs The Architect, ??? [1 Pts] I like The Architect more than I like either Queen or Honeyman, so I'm going for him. Who’s going to be The Architect’s Partner? [1 Pts] "Kill Switch" Frankie Perez Did The Architect impress Perez enough during their tournament match to form an alliance with the Kill Switch? This reader thinks so. Ernest Youngman, Left Shot Bradford, Raphael vs Al Coleman, Big Hustle, Rob Reynolds [1 Pts] Technically, technically I'm not betting against Youngman here because I think Raphael eats the pin. Cali Slick vs Rayne Man [1 Pts] Cali Slick is more valuable as a whole and Rayne Man's national popularity makes this a big win for him. The American Cobras (Marvel Malloy, Storm Spillane) vs The Strong Hand (Cobra, Texas Hangman) [1 Pts] At this point The American Cobras need the win to redeem their status as a top tag team. Joffy Laine (c) vs Renegade Bradley Blaze for the LSW Texas Heavyweight Title [1 Pts] It's a retain for Laine as he begins his title reign.

  9. Here's an assortment of comments I remember thinking as I read all your predictions. I've just selected at random, with a slight consideration to what I think make interesting talking points, so apologies if you're not mentioned here - it's nothing personal and certainly not an indictment of your comments, it's likely they were already covered and I've just selected whoever made the first similar comment for that week's predictions. I've attempted Multi-Quote here, but apologies if this turns out to be an incoherent mess! You had no idea way back that you predicted the tournament with the first match! These two are made to be a tag team! I'm surprised I've not really seen anyone pair them up before. I remember laughing as I imagined someone as grumpy as Stoat desperately clutching his own rear-end as I momentarily read your comment far too literally here. But yeah, here you quickly caught on to how Stoat's title run has progressed thus far. I love the different direction we're both taking the Dangermouth character in for our respective companies, with both of us fully aware he is a future star of British wrestling! I wanted to know how @DAVEFAN95 reacted to your terrible pun given his affinity for the Irish workers in BOW! If I remember correctly everyone here was caught out by the interference from Night Spyder costing Macks this match. I would have preferred a Macks win here, but made this decision to prevent the rivalry descending into Macks winning one week, Spyder the next, rinse and repeat until the PPV. I think a few people were caught off by the heel/face divide. I try to allow the occasional face vs face (and even rarer heel vs heel) just to offer something a little different, plus a tournament is a natural environment to allow face vs face or heel vs heel matches occur, otherwise tournaments become too cute and predictable if you're always looking for the face/heel divide. Oh man I remember reading this prediction and thinking, boy he's got it, he's understood my style of booking here. I don't want to rush the stories I'm telling, and I like it when workers can be involved in multiple stories at any one time. Yeah this was exactly it. Get the top heel stable on the board with a win. It was fun to use Stuart Wilson to set this up. I always wonder how @smw88 feels about seeing Wilson in diaries etc! I'll have to double check my excel spreadsheet, but I don't think Aud has actually hit decline yet! So you like golfers and hate pirates? You are one complex dude. Love the love for Makinen! I'm not sure if you went back to read some of the older posts, but I believe I mentioned somewhere before that I see him as one of the pillars to build the company on in years to come! Clubber Kohl and Bali Daljit had great chemistry as opponents, and even though I'd already ran the show on the game before you'd written this, I still attribute that bit of fortune to this comment! Gregory had a solid showing in the showcase battle royal at Reckless Abandon, but was used in pre-show dark matches before this match. He's someone I want to develop for the midcard for sure, but he's currently further down the pecking order behind other characters I want to develop first. Regarding McKenna and O'Curle - I wanted desperately to give both of them the win in these matches for the exact reasons you gave, but I couldn't justify McKenna, O'Curle and Stoat all being champions, in addition with Don Henderson being one half of the tag team champions. Hopefully I have the opportunity to give them their flowers before they hang the boots up. I wince at the start of every month in game praying McKenna's not calling it a day yet. I'm really glad you've seen the difference between Stoat/The Assassins Guild and Manchester/Royal Air Force. It's one I'd hoped was subtly getting across to the readers so I was very glad to see you mention it! Of course he found a way... We all have Walker van Cleer to thank! It will come one day! Thea Davis is definitely being positioned as a big deal. British, babyface, capable in the ring; all good feathers to have in her cap, but I am slightly worried I might give her too much of a goody persona like pre-heel turn Brit Baker, so I'm going to tread carefully. They shot. Padraig will make a great champ, one day. The thrill is in the chase!
  10. Part Two: 6. Which character(s) are you currently least interested in? @Charasmatic Enigma said: Again, as above, the Honour division just hasn't done it for me. - In part one, I covered this both in response to your previous comment regarding the Honour division, and willr0ck's comment regarding the mid-card scene, so I won't go over it again here. But it is an area I'm hoping to improve in the immediate future! @Wrestling Machine said: Gordon Leve for sure lol - I don't know why this made me laugh, but it did. He is described as bland in his bio, despite his entertainment skills not being as bad as you would expect. With that said, yeah, he essentially has no character other than technician under the age of 30. I believe I've mentioned in previous answers that the mid-card are going to be developed in batches, well unfortunately for all the huge Gordon Leve fans out there, I think he's towards the bottom of the list there I'm afraid! @KyTeran said: Viper McKenna and I don't know why. - Similar to above, this made me chuckle and I don't know why! I can't really offer a response to this as you don't even know why, but if I were to guess I'd say maybe it's because you know she's at the tail end of her career and going to retire soon, so maybe you're reluctant to invest? Whatever the reason is, I hope she improves as a character for you in future! @willr0ck said: Hugh de Aske, I still hate him, just not as much. - What did Hugh ever do to you to warrant such vitriolic hatred? @John Lions said: I think other then the aforementioned trio of veteran tag teams, I think I've been the least interested in the Macks/Night Spyder feud. I feel like for a blood feud they have been wrestling in normal matches way too often? For two high fliers with good hardcore skills and spot monkey tendencies, I would have expected at least 1 big spot to really sell that these two guys hate each other. I might be missing something but the biggest "moment" between the two that happened in this build was Spyder costing Macks a match against Colin Picalo, which feels like it was brushed through quickly. - I'll focus on the Macks/Spyder section of the answer as the tag stuff was discussed in part one quite a bit. I hope that the match between the two changed your opinion on these two/their feud a little, but I also understand if not. I was trying not to give these guys the hardcore match slot every week because I didn't want to turn hardcore wrestling into just their thing, and I didn't want to create apathy to them being involved in stipulation matches. I also wanted to focus more on their characters in this early stage of the diary to make them feel more important. But I will keep all this in mind as things progress for these two moving forward, whether or not that's together of separately. 7. What, if anything, has been included in this diary that you would like to see 'more of the same' of? @John Lions said: The more humanizing segments that really drill home the personalities of the wrestlers. Reading from the beginning, obviously I have a good grasp of the "main characters" like Smoked Out and The Three Lions, Clubber Kohl, Landon Mallory, etc. When it comes to the midcarders I feel like it's a mixed bag of who I feel more strongly about. The best example and my favorite angle of the diary so far would be the one that started with Cain and Bali talking with Marbella and ended with Clubber Kohl destroying the Fashionistas. You were able to establish 7 characters pretty solidly to me and every time I see one of those 7 I think back to that original angle. JK Lee, Fink/Nigel/Pavel, and more recently Michael Gregory are a few examples recently of guys who have made impressions on me with relatively few words. - Yeah again, this is about the highest praise for a writer, particularly characters making impressions with relatively few words! So a tremendous thanks for that, I'm glad you feel that way! @KyTeran said: I definitely like how you set up World title challengers between shows and it makes me look forward to see the eventual clash on a future show. I hope that this plays out for both the tag and women's titles. - I want title defences to be both a regular and important feature in the weekly shows, so I'm glad this has resonated with you. I don't like pointless title matches, so I will always try to build to title matches and avoid having a title match 'just because', even if it's as simple as making a challenge one week for the title match to happen the next week. To futureproof myself, the impending Hardcore title will be an exception to this rule, which will operate closer to a television/hardcore title hybrid (not to the extent of the WWE's 24/7 rule though). @willr0ck said: Clubber repeatedly kicking the sh%t out of people. Maybe find him a psycho partner too help out. - I know Clubber Kohl has a tag team partner in the form of Cub Balowicz in Europe, and it's an idea I've entertained. However, given my penchant for dedicating workers to the tag team division, I'm not sure if that's where I see Kohl headed in the immediate future. I might reconsider once Kohl's gained more popularity. 8. What, if anything, has been included in this diary that you'd rather not see happen again? @willr0ck said: Anything involving Hugh de Aske - Google told me that a fear of pirates is called Thalassoharpaxophobia. You're welcome. @KyTeran said: I can't think of anything. - This is something I'm really glad to read! @John Lions said: Obviously this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt, but I feel like wrestlers you have feuding in the midcard wrestle each other or wrestle in general a bit too much? I mentioned Macks and Spyder before, but I felt this way with the four men in the Honour title match as well. - I think this was mentioned previously in part one, at least regarding the Honour title match competitors. Thank you for saying, I'll take it under consideration and take a look at how I'm booking things, as I do agree that it dulls the payoff of seeing two (or more) rivals finally go head to head when they've already fought a lot before. 9. On a scale of 1-10 how interested are you in this diary right now? 7, 7, 7, 8, 9 gives me an average of 7.6, which is a good haul, I'd say! Extra comments from this section: @John Lions said: I'd put it at a 7, and the biggest detractor would be that I don't have much connection to the British indies. The most enjoyable part has been learning the British indies, since most of my knowledge was from reading some of the old ROF diaries from back in the TEW2010 days, and reading this concurrently with @Charasmatic Enigma's NWF diary. Both of you guys are approaching a British indy airing on TV in completely different ways despite sharing a lot of the same roster, and it's been cool to watch in real time. - Again, I love what C.E.'s doing with NWF too, and glad you're enjoying us both! I don't want to sound critical of the C-Verse because I do love it as much as I said in part one, but I think if there's a new TEW, many fans would like to have seen the region have grown a lot. @KyTeransaid: I will say a 9, but that is only because their is currently multiple good diaries running right now and they are all great reads. - To get a 9 when there's so many good diaries is a great achievement in my eyes - but yeah, there are lots of incredible diaries running at the moment, I must admit I've been inconsistent in my following of diaries over my time on this forum, but this does feel like a renascence for them right now! @willr0ck said: I enjoy reading it, and making a mockery of your prediction contest! - That's funny because you making a mockery of my prediction contest is my answer to question 8. (Only joking, your answers have had me in stitches laughing every week) 10. What is one thing you would change about this diary? @John Lions said: I have a pretty piss poor attention span and struggle at visualizing match write ups, especially when they are longer. I don't want you to make them shorter for me, but one trick I remember from some of the older diaries I read back in the day was they would highlight out important parts of the big write ups, for both promos and match write ups, which made it a lot easier to read for me personally. - I've discussed the length before, but making each show shorter is something I'm actively going to try and do, please bear with as I try to get this right. @KyTeran said: Again repeating from 8, I can't think of anything. - Awesome! I'm so glad things are landing with you! @willr0ck said: I would write up a nice, long narrative where Hugh de Aske gets eaten by a shark! I would be extremely sports entertained if that happened. - What has Hugh de Aske done to cause you so much pain?! @Wrestling Machinesaid: Again, I prefer it a little shorter - Already discussed, but I do hope I can get the balance right for you moving forward! Final Words: @John Lions said: I know you are looking for criticism with this so I apologize if anything I said came off the wrong way - one other comment I'd have not under the above is that I really appreciate the care and effort that went in to the visual presentation of this diary. The consistent renders are excellent and I'm sure they took a ton of work to put together. - There is absolutely no need to apologise for anything you have said (That goes for everyone) - I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to offer me their feedback, and I took it with the good intentions that they were offered with. I hope my responses are received in the same way, as I mean no malice when them either! I'm so glad you like the presentation, the renders did take a lot of work, but they are as much a passion project as this diary is! The most sincere thanks to everyone for taking the time to answer these questions, make predictions, or even just reading the diary. It means a lot and I hope you continue (or start) to enjoy this diary as we move forward!
  11. Here are the probably not-at-all anticipated responses to the questions I posed ahead of the For Whom The Bell Tolls event. I'll cover comments made throughout the predictions in another post, but may reference some here if they are related. NB: I am terrible at using the multi-quote tool on this forum, so I'm going to tag people and copy/paste their answers rather than attempt that. 1. What has been your favourite part of this diary to date? @willr0ck said: It's easy to read, well written and I am actually learning about the UK scene in the CV, which I no zero about. Yes, I am learning a little, despite my predictions. @Wrestling Machine said: I always love to know something more about CVerse, this is helping me to get in touch with the UK scene a bit more. - To those who have said they're enjoying learning about the UK scene in the C-Verse... Do your own research and look it up yourself! No, just kidding. Obviously we're all C-Verse fans otherwise we wouldn't be here, and while I'm not trying to claim I'm the number one fan or anything like that, I can say I am a huge, huge supporter of the incredible and rich world Adam and anyone else involved have created in this fictional universe for us. I have distinct ideas for each and every company in the game world, and if I had all the time in the world then I would have a diary for each and every one of them. Unfortunately with real life being a thing I can't commit to that, so I opted to share my own tiny little stamp on the fictional universe we all know and love. I've tried several times to create a 2023 database for the default C-Verse, and sadly each time it falls apart due to struggling with stat changes etc, but never because of a lack of ideas - which I can only credit to the aforementioned incredible lore created by Adam (and any/all contributors). Now I know that was rambling, and definitely longer than I intended, but I wanted to add enough context to what I say next to give it the appropriate weight: It's very, very humbling and flattering to be playing just a small part in building your knowledge of the UK scene of this universe, given how much I love the C-Verse. I really strive to stay true to the characters (of course adding my own little flair), particularly with established lore, so I sincerely hope I'm doing them justice. @John Lions said: I'll go with two answers. First choice is the women's division - in my personal game, I decided to crack open a women's division day 1 in my similarly sized Aussie promotion (also an AEW-esque product). There's no history, there's no talent with pedigrees, so it's up to you to make that division feel important and give people a reason to care. With a thin roster you've done a great job of making the women feel important. Second choice is Clubber Kohl. There's nothing unique about a big monster with a handler beating up jobbers, but he seamlessly slid into the show interacting with workers all across the card where I find myself looking forward to who he's going to bully each week. @Charasmatic Enigma said: Clubber Kohl and Eva have probably been my favourite duo to date. - I must admit, up until the promo on the go-home edition of Night Of Wrestling, I was struggling with the women's division. I think this was down to having to build the entire division, while really wanting to avoid any impressions of any of the women being considered 'good for a woman', rather than just being 'good'. Of course, the fact that this is the first women's division in British wrestling is one of the larger narrative hooks for the time being, so that thread isn't totally ignored, but with that promo I really began to think that not only was I understanding their characters better, but I was presenting them better on the page too. The fact that they're being highlighted as one of the most enjoyable elements of this diary already is very encouraging. - To those who have said they're enjoying Clubber Kohl and/or Eva Berlin. I'm really glad to see that he has got over as the monster heel of the promotion. He's actually a little undersized as a bulky middleweight for the role, but he's young, menacing and good in the ring, all factors which I value above size alone as a trait. I'm hoping a jump from unimportant to recognisable in the near future will convince him to add some size, but if not I'm not concerned, especially now given the reaction from you all. Personally the near-mute, monster heel has always been the wrestling stereotype I've struggled to invest in in real life, so the fact I'm doing it well by your standards is a very welcome surprise. @KyTeran said: So far my favorite part of the diary is the developing on-screen relationship between Captain Crash and Marbella and I look forward to what comes next in their story. Another great moment was Hugh de Aske's debut and road to challenge Stoat. - 'Captain Crash' Cain Carlile and Marbella is actually just a fun little side storyline that I first thought of back in TEW 2016, involving another worker who I won't mention to avoid spoilers. I loved the concept as a bit of light-hearted, harmless, wholesome fun and I'm really excited about continuing it in this diary because there's already some story plots that will need to change due to other plans I have in place - but I'm looking forward to facing those as they arise. Expect this one to be more of a slow burner though, as Cain's going to need to face a few bumps in the road in order to really be the company's lovable underdog. - I'm so glad that Hugh's debut was mentioned here (despite how much willr0ck is going to protest!). I think his promo opposite Stevie Stoat was one of the most fun writing projects I have undertaken in a very long time. I had a huge smile on my face while writing it. I did go quite deep into the pirate gimmick with him, which actually surprised myself as usually I like to keep the pirate shtick toned down with him, but the more Will protested, the more it stuck! I expect it to pair back a little bit more as time progresses, purely because I think he's too good a talent to be used solely as a gimmick, so I'm looking to transition from 'argh, I'm a pirate' to a strong in-ring performer who has pirate lineage which influences how he sees the world. 2. What has been your least favourite part of this diary to date? @KyTeran said: Hard to think of one. @willr0ck said: I cannot say that there is something in particular I dislike. If I had to nitpick, the graphics are pretty awful,. Whoever made them is pretty terrible. - I'm really glad to hear there's no area you guys are particularly dissatisfied with/like the least! - Yeah the graphics suck. I'm going to fire the guy who created them and use AI instead. [For those unaware, willr0ck is the incredible artist who created the BOW logo and all of the championship designs. If you live under a rock (not will, but a real rock) and haven't checked out his graphics pages on the TEW 20 mods section of this forum, for the love of god you are missing out. Go and check it out now. Seriously, don't even finish reading this, just go check it out.] @John Lions said: The tag team division and tournament. 3 of the teams in the tournament all feel so similar to me with very little differentiating them - Future X, The Shooters, and The X Force all feel like the same brand of "veteran tag team, serious tag wrestlers who have won titles elsewhere, babyfaces" mold that I have a hard time remembering which team interacted with who over the course of the tournament. Two of the more interesting tag teams who have more fleshed out characters are facing each other in a tag match that feels more important as a viewer/reader than the title match itself. Even Nigel and Pavel to me have had more time to stand out differently from the trio of veterans. It's why I'm partial to The Shooters, because of the three veteran teams they are the one I feel are the "best" and are the ones I have the most connection with. - I really don't want to seem like I'm twisting the narrative here, but I am really not disappointed by this response. This is almost exactly what I was trying to portray in the tag team division to start with. Don't get me wrong, I had hoped that I had distinguished The Shooters, The X Force and Future X enough from one another that it didn't quite play out that they were exactly the same, but I also don't disagree with what you've said. I do think they need more variation between them all, and that's something I'm hoping comes out more as the diary progresses. I think I've made a pretty deep division here, as you said you've got more connection to the teams involved in stories not involved in the tag team titles, so as time progresses and these stories both develop and overlap, the division won't be the weakest part of the diary for you. At least, I hope! @Wrestling Machine said: It's a pretty long read everytime, I generaly prefer shorter forms - The irony of my responses being so long that I'm planning to split this into two parts... facepalm. However, I take note of what you're saying here, and I both agree and disagree. It's tough, because wrestling is obviously a visual sport/entertainment, and that doesn't often translate well into entertaining writing. I sometimes find myself skipping match write-ups in other diaries because, frankly, I want to be watching wrestling, not reading it. That said, I understand the desire to write up important matches, because you want to take your reader on the journey of the story of the match. So I think in terms of matches I am trying to work towards keeping them concise, one paragraph summaries unless a particularly dramatic and/or significant match. One thing I like to try and do is provide at least one visual spot (usually the finish) just to give the impression of wrestling, rather than 'these two guys had a good match which ended with wrestler X pinning wrestler Y'. On the other hand, in terms of promos/segments etc, I like to try and give 'the full segment' as much as possible. This is where diaries earn their weight in gold for me. We're in a unique position where not only is the kayfabe stories the story in these diaries, but also the player's success in booking a show, managing talent, competition with rival promotions, etc, is also the story. Some people like a combination of both, some people only care about the kayfabe stories, and some only care about how well the guy is playing the game, essentially. I'll go out on a limb here and say that my diary is predominantly about the kayfabe stories, as if you were watching BOW as a real promotion on TV, with elements of the gameplay sprinkled in, in a prosaic way. For example, the Dunton Hall/Thea Davis segment at the PPV bombed, so I adapted the diary to incorporate that by adding the awkwardness of the title presentation. Likewise, I try to word match write ups in a way that suggest how good/bad the match was rated, without actually providing the game ratings. This is all personal preference, and I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong in the slightest. Because as much as I've said all this, I also agree that the shows are too long sometimes, and honestly, I'm still trying to find that 100% defined style of shows, so expect a bit more experimentation in show presentation, though hopefully subtle enough that people don't even realise it, other than them being shorter! @Charasmatic Enigma said: The Honour division just hasn't clicked for me. The characters all feel a bit bland, and they've all faced each other too much for the match itself to feel like a big deal. - Again, I don't disagree with this. The tough thing with the Honour division has been that it's about the wrestling. It's a pure championship, and as I said above, wrestling is frustratingly the least interesting part of a wrestling diary. I tried something a little different leading into the four way match by having had each competitor face one another in a one on one match prior to said four way title match, and I'm sorry that it caused apathy for you by the time the four way match came about. But this is noted and appreciated, and I hope the Honour division improves for you moving forward! 3. What do you think is the biggest strength in the BOW roster? @John Lions said: Contradictory to my above point, but the tag division. You had an 8 team tournament that left out your top 2 tag teams. You have a laundry list of future matches to run through that could all main event a TV show. @Wrestling Machine said: The tag team division @Charasmatic Enigma said: The Tag Division is your strongest division on paper. I also like that neither of the teams contesting for your belt have been involved in my diary, as there is a lot of overlap otherwise. - With three people saying the same thing, I'm confident that the tag team division is in a healthy state. I really like my tag team division to be defined by strong teams, that I pretty much count them as one spot on the roster rather than two. I know I covered a lot of John's concerns about the division above, but I think what I wrote there also applies to how the tag team division is one of the strongest divisions of the roster. @KyTeran said: The roster definitely has a diverse feeling and offers plenty of range in their match types. - I am so glad this was said! I can't remember if I said this in one of my previous posts, but I like to split my promotions into specific divisions (though in kayfabe these divisions aren't rigid and workers can theoretically compete for any title of their gender). Obviously in this company we have the World title, the Honour title (Pure championship), the Tag Team title and the Women's title. Hardcore matches have featured on almost every show too, so it shouldn't take much to guess which title is going to be introduced next. I think this not only justifies me having a larger roster (particularly when factoring my previous point about liking dedicated tag team division workers) but also splits the undercard in a fun way that allows for diverse matches. So the fact that you've said this is really validating! @willr0ck said: Since I no very little about the UK CV I am not really sure who you could add or what is missing that could make your roster better. I can say that I enjoy the characters you've signed or at least how you write these characters. Well, I guess that answered itself. I like the charactes you've built. I see so many diarys that just have "Mr_X, and his gimmick is he's good at wrestling". I can't stand that, here, you've got a great cast of diverse characters. I mean I don't even hate the Pirate that much anymore. That's an accomplishment. - Your character work being praised is perhaps the biggest compliment you can receive as a writer. So thank you for that! That I'm managing to get a landlubber such as yourself to warm to the pirate is reward enough! 4. What do you think is lacking in the BOW roster? @Charasmatic Enigma said: I can't help but compare this diary to mine, as it's a very similar concept. We both face into the issue of a lack of depth at the top of the card. It's a race to get your new guys (Landon, Walker, Hugh) over before Stevie Stoat's in ring performances drop off to a terminal level. - For anyone who hasn't read C.E's NWF diary, check it out when you get a chance. He's doing some awesome work and if you're enjoying the British indy C-Verse scene, he's using a lot of the same/similar workers while writing a diary that has it's own strong identity! But everything you've said here is true, we're in a similar boat here and I don't think I need to expand on it as you've essentially nailed the hammer on the head here! @Wrestling Machine said: A major draw @John Lions said: The obvious answer would be a lack of experienced depth in the men and women's singles division, but you know that already. At the end of the day no matter how you position it, Stevie Stoat and Nate Manchester were midcarders in 21CW, and there hasn't been women's wrestling in the British Isles ever to my knowledge. As much as you build up Landon or Walker of Hugh's successes in other countries or continents, it's an uphill battle building the credibility of BOW and it's going to have to be done internally. - I mean, yeah, I don't disagree! The UK C-Verse scene outside of 21CW is desperate for star power. I've tried to adapt to this by flipping things on it's head and booking around Stevie Stoat, in a 'come pay to see the dastardly heel get his comeuppance' rather than 'come see the superhero babyface vanquish his foe', but yeah, a major draw would be beneficial for sure! - I covered the Women's division already, but everything you've said here is true. @willr0ck said: Again, I'm not familiar enough with the scene to know who's out there. You've got plenty of tag teams, a decent women's division. Maybe some more midcard guys that aren't tag guys. I think I suffer from the same issue in my diary as well. - I disagree, in so much as I think I have a lot of midcard guys signed, but I agree in the sense that I just haven't utilised them as much yet. With this being a new company, new diary, etc, I've focused more on establishing the top of the card, particularly due to the lack of stars there. The midcard guys are going to be drip-fed in; you're seeing it already with the likes of the Matthew Macks/Night Spyder feud, the Honour Championship title competitors, Gram Gorman etc, it's just happening much slower than I'd like it to! I think when the Hardcore title is introduced this is going to change. @KyTeran said: I don't think their are many major gaps. - I'm glad you see it this way! Outside of the comments above regarding the lack of a major star/top of the card/World title scene, I'm of the similar mindset. 5. Who is your favourite character in this diary so far? @John Lions said: I've really liked Walker van Cleer. His motivations all make sense and he's threading the line between babyface in heel perfectly. - I like my characters to be shades of grey rather than black or white. Not just in this diary but in my writing in general. So I'm thrilled that this has come across in Walker, and I have to agree, he's been a sleeper hit for me! Again, to wax lyrical about the C-Verse again for a brief moment, his character development comes from his default bio about having always been the number two guy, and that resulted in his (in my opinion) fire promo ahead of his PPV match with Nate Manchester. @KyTeran said: Hard to pick one, but currently the top of my list includes Hugh de Aske, Night Spyder, Laurel Wreath, The Fashionistas, Cain Carlile, and Marbella. I like the personality you have given so many members of your roster. - I know some of these workers have been discussed in my answers previously, and I don't think it would be anything other than self-serving to go through each one you've listed, but I'm sincerely flattered that you've liked so many of my characters! As I said previously, that's like the highest of praise for a writer, so imagine the size of the smile on my face as I'm writing this reply! @willr0ck said: Clubber Kohl, his name is Clubber for God's sake, and he kicks the absolute sh%t out of people. What's not to love. - Funny, you spelled 'Hugh de Aske' incorrectly... No but seriously, I've already discussed Kohl in previous answers so won't go into it again, but I'm still happy to read what I'm doing with the character is being so well received. @Wrestling Machine said: Following last answer, Landon Mallory has the X-Factor so I'm really into it atm - Oh dude is for sure a star in the making! If there is a future edition of TEW, I expect to see him at the top of the card in 21CW! However from a writing POV, I have really struggled with trying to incorporate his South African background into his character, while always trying my hardest to be both respectful and accurate to the culture, so if anyone with experience/knowledge of South Africa has any advice/tips/corrections, please reach out and let me know what I'm getting right and wrong! @Charasmatic Enigma said: As I said above I've really enjoyed Clubber Kohl/Eva Berlin, and I've also enjoyed the Cain/Marbella stuff. - I've mentioned all these guys in answers above, so I won't bore anyone by repeating myself here, but really thrilled you're enjoying them! I'm going to end part one here as obviously this post is way too long at this point. Stick around for part two - or wait until the post-show press conference if you're not interested in reading these!
  12. If Hugh de Aske doesn't arrive with Joanna Silver as his valet then I am never reading this diary again!!! In all seriousness though, don't apologise too much regarding the tag tournament mishap - I know I only listed it as my critique because I had very little else to offer for that question! As for the narrative, that was hilarious! Even better than I had imagined and so glad to see it come to life!
  13. Welsh Dragon vs Padraig O'Hearne Taypen & Buzzard (Grant Taypen & Leighton Buzzard) vs The Party Animals (Rave & Trance) ??? vs The Northern Lights (Alton Vicious & Riddick Jordan) Red Dragon vs Stuart Wilson NWF Cruiserweight TItle No. 1 Contenders Match: Martin Heath vs JK Lee
  14. The Big Guns (c) vs ??? in the Halloween Wheel Challenge for the LSW Tag Team Heavyweight titles [1 Pts] The Canadian Blondes (Flash Savage, Ozzie Goldstein) vs The Heartbreak Express (Needham, Liotta) [1 Pts] The Architect vs Remmy Honeyman [1 Pts] Raphael vs Tavon Blake Jr [1 Pts] Ernest Youngman vs Chip Martin [1 Pts] Renegade Bradley Blaze (c) vs Joffy Laine for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title [1 Pts]
  15. I was so close to getting the entire thing perfectly too! Curse you Bradley Blaze for interfering too early. I did consider the heel/face divide for the final but thought since it was a special tournament it might not matter as much.
  16. Frankie Perez vs The Architect in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts] This feels like an indy dream match - As much as I like The Architect, I think this run has been to see how he works as part of the roster and prove himself ahead of a future ongoing contract. Meanwhile Perez is a bigger name and in line to put over a bigger part of the LSW roster in the later rounds. Cowboy Buck Winchester vs Big Hustle in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts] A win over 1/3 of The Most Wanted sets him up to enter the title picture down the road. Tavon Blake Jr vs Left Shot Bradford in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts] To set up a showdown with former rival Joffy Laine in the next round. Ernest Youngman vs Joffy Laine in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts] I want to stick by my man Youngman but I can't see the number one contender losing in the quarter finals. Winner of 1st Quarter-final (Frankie Perez) vs Winner of 2nd Quarter-final (Big Hustle) in the Semi-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts] Big Hustle is a big part of LSW and Perez is in the tournament to put over a big part of the LSW roster. Winner of 3rd Quarter-final (Left Shot Bradford) vs Winner of 4th Quarter-final (Joffy Laine) in the Semi-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts] Laine conquers his demons in the form of his first LSW rival Left Shot Bradford on his way to the final.
