  1. <p>Companies products have been set. Familial relationships are all up to date. New workers have been imported. </p><p> </p><p> Attributes for workers in the following companies have been set:</p><p> SWF</p><p> TCW</p><p> USPW</p><p> CZCW</p><p> NYCW</p><p> DAVE</p><p> AAA</p><p> MAW</p><p> 21CW</p><p> AdePro</p><p> ARW</p><p> MWF</p><p> </p><p> Still to go:</p><p> 5SSW</p><p> BHOTGW</p><p> 4C</p><p> CGC</p><p> GCG</p><p> Hinnote</p><p> MOSC</p><p> MPWF</p><p> NOTBPW</p><p> OLLIE</p><p> PGHW</p><p> SAISHO</p><p> ROF</p><p> SOTBPW</p><p> SHW</p><p> UCR</p><p> WEXXV</p><p> WLW</p><p> </p><p> Then I need to double check contracts. Set starting storylines. </p><p> </p><p> At that point, set the start for January 2006 for some tests. Then fix whatever garbage I see comes up. Then release it to you all. Then have you tell me what garbage you see comes up and fix that. Hopefully I'll have V1 ready by release.</p>
  2. Question for the peanut gallery: Would you like to see workers who have had name changes (Wanda Fish -> Belle Bryden for example) with their TEW 2005 name as default, or their TEW 2020 name as default? I currently have names as they were in 2005. I can change them as I realize them, if that's what the majority prefers.
  3. If I don't give people specific home bases, will they naturally settle down during gameplay to wherever they find is best?
  4. Hahaha, I put a whole day in and finished attributes for SWF, TCW, CZCW, USPW, and NYCW.
  5. I'll be honest, I turned on Organic Bio for a vast majority of people so the bio should grow over time. With the number of workers that debut with bios of what they've done, we took all that out and were left with typically vague stuff. I'm also not going to lie and tell you that I really don't want to do that for nearly 3000 worker records. It'd take me forever. I thought the organic bio would be a compromise that would allow this to get released. That isn't to say I'm opposed to having fleshed out bios for some of the more important characters, but I would put that at the end of the project, after I know the data works as intended. I've been working on SWF attributes for the past hour and a half and I'm only on Knuckles. The new system is quite an undertaking.
  6. <p>I understand, for the most part, attributes are grouped in categories and then as weak, medium, strong. </p><p> </p><p> Any chance within the categories Can play and Can't play they could be sorted by alphabetical?</p><p> </p><p> I'm trying my best in updating the TEW 2005 database and I find myself searching around more than I'd like to be.</p>
  7. <p>Hey everyone, TEW 2005 database conversion is in the works. I'm doing attributes right now and crying my eyes out. Attributes will obviously not be a one for one with the 2020 database, because people change over 14 years (2005 starts in December).</p><p> </p><p> I've imported the new workers, I've nerfed their popularity (those that would have ring time because they debuted after 2016). I'll alter them on a case by case basis as it makes sense.</p><p> </p><p> I'll keep plugging away at attributes for awhile, then I'll do a test and make sure everything works correctly, clean it up as needed, then I'll release it for your consumption. By that point, I'll probably have burnt myself out on TEW 2020 and stop playing like I did with TEW 2016.</p><p> </p><p> Stennick and I have been doing this for the past few games. I hope others have enjoyed it, but 2005 is still the best game world Adam's made. All the bells and whistles since should make it even better!</p><p> </p><p> Questions, comments, concerns?</p>
  8. <p>I think this has probably been brought up, but I searched and didn't find anything. This may also be a cultural difference between the States and the UK, if that's the case feel free to ignore.</p><p> </p><p> I would recommend the progression of colors go similarly to what has been used in the past.</p><p> </p><p> Worst - > Best</p><p> </p><p> Dark Red -> Light Red -> Dark Orange -> Light Orange -> Dark Yellow -> Light Yellow -> Dark Green -> Light Green -> Dark Blue -> Light Blue</p><p> </p><p> Just a suggestion for consistency among games.</p><p> </p><p> Thanks Adam, I'm enjoying this year a lot!</p>
  9. <p>Mad Dog Mortimer</p><p> Thomas Morgan</p><p> Kashmir Singh</p>
  10. It would be cool if we could scroll through previous segments of a feud. As it is, I can only see the first 5 segments of a feud, then everything afterward doesn't show on the storyline screen. If not the ability to scroll through the story, then maybe have the Previous Segments portion show the most recent 5 storyline segments.
  11. Do house shows increase skills? If they do, I might veer away from tours, as they are throwaway anyway. If not, then tours it is.
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="The Nickman" data-cite="The Nickman" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="48333" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Did it set all the segment lengths to fit in with your product?<p> </p><p> That's been my biggest beef with autobooker to date, I'm booking RAW and literally every angle and match it books is 10-20 minutes, when they all need to be sub-8.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It was with PGHW and the autobooker was throwing out 20-35 minute matches, so it did what it was supposed to for me. Hahahah.</p>
  13. I had figured a 45% revenue split with the small company would be better than 20% from the medium. Looks like I was wrong. I ended up making $635,732 from the PPV on J-Remote 1.
  14. Auto-booker just booked a decent show for me. I just went in and set all the winners I wanted, changed pre-show matches to matches on the card, and then made some youngboy matches in the pre-show.
  15. <p>I'M LOSING ALL THE MONEY!</p><p> </p><p> First thing I saw was that my production was going to make me look terrible next to BHOTWG, so I boosted it. Now I look at my finance and after 3 tour shows, I'm in the hole $71,000. I don't have high hopes of recouping costs with the PPV deal, soooo... this is bad.</p><p> </p><p> If I pay out a portion of written contract pay each week, then I'm not going to cry too much, but I don't like my chances!</p>
  16. <p>It took me 5 shows to go from 10 to 11. I would bet the shows were gaining me .2% pop increase each.</p><p> </p><p> Rock Hard created fed in the Great Lakes.</p>
  17. I can't wait to do a RTG. The change in worker pay is so appreciated. I can sign all the guys I want to a $25 and a hotdog contract. It's brilliant!
  18. The AI just ignores the premade feuds and has the DeColts feud tag against everyone in the top tier.
  19. I'm watching the AI book TCW in the game I'm playing right now and I'm astounded by what's working. Makes me wonder if I could get it to work that way.
  20. Also, you know your promotion is the greatest when Ben Williams and Bob Casey are your Franchise Players.
  21. In my first demo, Tommy Cornell's contract came up and he scooted over to USPW. I bet THAT came as a surprise!
  22. <p>Haha! I won this one, I started an Insignificant size fed for fun. Had James Diaz squash Leisure Suit Morty (Mad Dog Mortimer) and earned a 0 rating. Even with in-ring performance in the teens, they were hated so much by the family-friendly fans in attendance that they got a zero rating. </p><p> </p><p> I found it funny. Any other 0 rating matches out there?</p>
