I was tired and I saw green. I'd already explained for about 20 posts before this whie winding up Outlaw that I was staying up just to see the write up, plus with only one kill I jumped to a conclusion while skim reading. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> Anywho, MQM time... this might take like... 30 minutes to do in sequential order.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Don't get the hate on green. Green is 99% of the time town, and generally masons. <strong><span style="color:#0000FF;">Blue </span></strong>and <strong><span style="color:#008000;">Green</span></strong> are town. <strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Red</span></strong> and <strong>Black</strong> are scum. <strong><span style="color:#800080;">Purple</span></strong> is indy. If anything, cult would be <strong>Black</strong> or <strong><span style="color:#FFA500;">Orange</span></strong>. At least, that's the standard. Also, that write up is using color for the sake of using color to differentiate.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Astil" data-cite="Astil" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>So you believe that in a game of 26 Outlaw gave two people the same very powerful role?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Sure. Hell, he even put in a student to learn an ability from someone if the assumption on what that role was is right. I think you over value a jailer, also. You think there's just one invest?</p>
  2. In the past, I feel like we were told if someone couldn't speak for the day.

Wasn't Nick on the reserve first, and thus would've had first dibs, and was likely sent a notice to respond if he wanted to sub in?</p>
  4. <p>Gonna move these around, out of order a bit. Figure I'll point that out now so no one thinks it's done for any shady business. Someone was popular enough to get 2 visitors, and takes appointments. Brain's not functioning well enough to come up with a good list of professions. Gonna leave out the death. Obviously the death.</p>
  5. Really not thrilled with the thought of having a cult out there. Hate to see Rev die early in any game. Feel like we're supposed to believe it was vengeance from someone for last game, but not sure how many back and forths my brain can go through psychology wise there. A lot to take in on the write up. I'm here, but I'm distracted by War Games. Afterwards, I'll really focus on the write up and see what I can get out of it.

Couldn't bring myself to do it on forums, where games take weeks sometimes. Same thing with the mutual agreement to not kill new players night one that everyone seemed to have.</p><p> </p><p> Would hurt the player base.</p>
  8. Change Vote: machinesxe *Insert something of meaning here so I don't look scummy.*
  9. I'd be a lot more open to it if the list was adjusted to what we deem common, and stuff like watcher, tracker, double vote, miller, and whatnot were added. Right now, that's a shortlist of the most important roles and one we rarely see in bigger games, really.
  10. That's ... a very short list of dangerous roles to have someone admit to having one of them.
  11. I've played about as careless as I usually do. Can't change up the gameplay, people might actually read something into that. Never been a fan of Day One stuff unless there's something to be gained. If you toss on a Kingmaker gimmick, I believe there should be a person or two that knows it's their responsibility to put the target on their back and figure it out and politic for it using whatever info they feel like sharing.
  12. Have had the same theory on Day One from the start. It's not a worthwhile gamble to hunt mafia on day one. We could luck out and find someone who's scum, but we have nothing to really question them with unless they make some misstep. This isn't real life, we can take our time and formulate our thoughts on how we want to sway the town away. Like you said, signals. The odds of finding a BAD scum player who can't lie aren't as high as finding a town power role and drawing attention to them. Even if they don't outright claim, the scum learn something to aid them N1. I'd rather they be as blind as possible.

If there is a cult, which I'm personally gonna go with there's not, expect far less mafia. A cult adds a whole new issue to the balance of the game, and an over sized mafia against a town who can't trust even proven townies, is a lost game for any color town aligned and most likely a win for the scum group instead of the cult as the cult generally won't have the fire power to deal with a large scum team.</p>
