  1. I had this thought a few days ago - could limited date contracts replace the events/TV-only distinction that currently exists? The contract system is flawed in that whether you run 3 events per month or 3 events per year, your veteran wrestlers on event-only contracts will work the just the events, no more no less (if you book them to be on them ofc). It should go by the amount of dates they have to work.
  2. If anyone would be willing to give it a shot; I'd love a logo for "Pure Evil Ministries." It's a stable led by Aldous Blackfriar in my save. I feel like it leaves a lot of room for creativity in terms of logo making.
  3. 21CW would make a lot of sense in canon considering they have Tommy and Edward Cornell with Tommy Jr's debut looming. They're set to become a major promotion if they play their cards right.
  4. I have a trios division in my save which I introduced 6 or 7 years in. I rely a lot on rematches as well as face vs. face and heel vs. heel matches because it's just hard having enough trios. Still, it works with my large roster and allows me to rotate stable members from division to division so that everyone has something to do at all times. You definitely just wanna make sure you have a big enough roster and enough star power before you commit to it. Otherwise, you might just end up depleting your other divisions and running out of matchups quickly. Edit: It's also a good way to give aging low stamina stars a title reign when they're no longer able to run singles or tags of decent lengths.
  5. "Revolt Wrestling" Southern England Local to Global - October 2031 Now 11 years into the save and I'm still addicted. We just ran our big annual event "Battle of Britain VII." I sorta felt like this was a good place to sorta plant my flag and write down where things are at. Aldous Blackfriar's stable "Pure Evil Ministries" has almost every title in the promotion after their historic performance at Battle of Britain. Mutant retained the Openweight Championship in a fatal four-way against Bret Heartbreak, Boone Rahn (gen), and Jordan Anderson (formerly Masked Patriot XXVII). Nakayama and Midnight Eagle retained against The LA Stars to continue their dominance over the tag division. And of course, Aldous Blackfriar ends Americana Jr's reign as world champion in the main event to pick up his first-ever world title. Champions look like this now. World - Aldous Blackfriar x1 (0 days) Openweight - Mutant 2x (115 days) Tag - Nakayama & Midnight Eagle [The Dark Connection] - 4x (105 days) Trio Tag - David Stone, Davis Wayne Newton, Steve Baroni (gen) [The Forgotten] - 1x (0 days) The next month or so will consist of The Forgotten, as the only other champions in the promotion, stepping up to the plate to challenge Pure Evil Ministries with the logic being "hunt them before they hunt us." Blackfriar will likely have a lengthy reign, but I have a number of babyfaces who could realistically dethrone him eventually. Will Beaumont (the figurehead), El Jaguar, Americana Jr., Bret Heartbreak, David Stone, and Moriarty Schnell. Schnell just concluded a multi-year slow burn breakup storyline with stable leader Yuta Isono which saw Schnell turn face and defeat Isono clean at Battle of Britain. He's officially slotted into my #5 spot in the "Franchise Players" tab and is way more over than I expected him to ever get. Oddly enough he's the most attractive option to me on that list despite being the weakest in the ring. I've also got a number of exciting generated talent ready to make the jump to the main roster. One is PN London; a prodigious technical wrestler who's only 21 years of age and comes with his personal hypeman in Lewis Luger (gen worker with insane entertainment stats). I'd love to hear about more of your guys' British Aisle saves to see how things have shaped up for you!
  6. The chaos division featuring the Chaos Openweight Championship (or just Chaos Championship)
  7. Absolutely loving all the masked worker renders. I'll throw another name out there who has never been done (to my knowledge) - Midnight Eagle.
  8. Make sure you have other stars and major stars on the roster that the booker will consider eligible for a world title match. Besides that, the booking is a little strange sometimes so you can just wait it out. They'll take it off him eventually.
  9. I've never had an injury to my user character but with the badly herniated spinal disc, you should expect some permanent effects on their stats. I had Logan Wolfsbaine suffer the injury in my save and it definitely lowered his in-ring ceiling a bit. He's still a great performer though, so it shouldn't be too much of a worry.
  10. Smaller companies in the British Aisles just LOVE employing The Minor Annoyance.
  11. <p>I just got my first ever 100 rated match in TEW! It was completely unexpected as it resulted from a filler match in Will Beaumont's now 500+ day reign as world champion. The storyline is that Multimillionario, a recent addition to the roster, rigged the fan vote to determine the next #1 contender for Beaumont's title using his wealth and connections. Multi has enjoyed a rapid rise to the top thanks largely in part to the help of his hired guns, Los Mercenarios (Mercenario l is injured). It wasn't enough to get the job done in this case as Beaumont's allies Daniel Black Francis and Boom-Boom Jamaica were able to help him fight off the masked mercenaries and retain the gold!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="k2f3sWc.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/k2f3sWc.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  12. Ah that's a bit unfortunate. I not only have a wrestler who lost a hair match who I'm ready to see rocking his hair again, but I wanted to use an alternate render for Lone Wolf with hair. I guess in the first case he should grow his hair back, but in the Lone Wolf's case, he's stuck bald. Not that it really matters for gameplay purposes.
  13. Is there any way to give a worker hair in an ongoing save? I've been clicking around and can't find how to edit that.
  14. I have a worker who has excellent chemistry with his manager, but at the same time receives a penalty which states "penalized for bad chemistry (overwhelmed by manager)." Does anyone know in this case if the worker is better or worse off with the manager at ringside?

It was somewhere in one of these threads, maybe the gameplay or small questions thread.</p>

I sorta have him relegated to a muscle/tag competitor because he’s not all that great in the ring.</p>

It took him four years with YEPW to get good enough to put on high rated matches. What are his stats like in 2030?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> He’s a monster. In my save Beaumont also had a weight gain completely of his own accord, so that boosted him up even higher in star quality. I think he’s at a 95 now, but I’m away from my game for the week and can’t check.</p><p> </p><p> If I have a sorta weak heel lined up for him (say mid 60’s in polarity) I put them in a program and he’ll carry them to a 90 pretty effortlessly because he’s so popular and good enough in the ring. When he’s in there with another great performer like Muckletruck he can really deliver. I expect a 99 or hopefully my first ever 100 rated TEW match in their blowoff bout. He’s basically a John Cena who people cheer as a babyface no matter what.</p>
  18. Southern England Promotion Local to Global - March 2030 Will Beaumont is just 5-days short of hitting 400 days as world champion. He's the longest-reigning champion in the promotion's history and after the most recent PPV event, he's the most defended champion with 16 title defenses. He's been taking on the company top heels one after another while at the same time being involved in a more long-term blood feud with Roly Muckletruck. His next challenge is the winner of the Royal Crown tournament Apollo Prince who by winning has earned himself a title shot. After that, he'll finally get his hands on Roly Muckletruck in a dog collar match. I'm having a ton of fun booking his reign. It's sorta like a puzzle trying to find believable challengers for him each month. The goal is to get to our Wrestlemania equivalent show at the 21-month mark of his reign where he'll finally drop the title to Tommy Cornell Jr along with the help of his father and uncle, setting up our 2 biggest stars in a rivalry against each other.
  19. "Truth Serum" with Jay Lethal coming in and being given the nickname "The Lethal Dose"
  20. The original database. I should specify because my post was a little unclear, I have had mentor/protege relationships in the save, but I haven't seen one in about four years. My post made it seem like I'm four years in and haven't seen a single one.
  21. Are you guys getting any mentor/protege relationships developing? I haven't seen any develop in probably 4 years of game time despite having a large roster comprised of both young stars and veterans, some with the "passes on knowledge" trait.
  22. I ran about 7 years of my Local to Global with the face heel divide turned off. I kept track of the faces in heels in my head and made sure to book fairly realistically. Recently I switched to a loosely enforced face heel divide to add a bit more challenge and realism. Mainly things are exactly the same as when I had the divide off entirely. The game will penalize you if you have a face manager with a heel worker or vice versa, so if that's something you see yourself doing and you'd like that not to happen you should take it into consideration. I think the most major difference is that now there's a penalty for heel vs. heel and face vs. face matches. This means that if I want to get a 100 rated match it has to face vs. heel (unless I'm mistaken about that, but I believe that's true). I sort of like that because typically the best stories/matches are the ones that have a good guy and a bad guy, but depending on the type of promotion you're running and the type of stories you like to do you may not see that penalty as being realistic. It's really a matter of personal preference. Hope that helps!
  23. Update on my local to global company out of Southern England. It's currently October 2028. The company's size is big. We've officially overtaken 21CW and are winning the area battle. We just wrapped up our biggest annual event, Battle of Britain lV. In the main event, Yuta Isono defended his World Championship against our newest signing, Roly Muckletruck (who had just jumped ship from 21CW where he was the world champion) and his longtime rival Tommy Cornell Jr. The match was interrupted however as David Stone cashed in his Ultimate Opportunity briefcase Seth Rollins style in order to make the match a 4-way and steal the championship at the very end. Earlier in the night, Stone lost to Will Beaumont in a singles match. Beaumont is likely first in line for a title shot against the now three-time world champion. Ricky Storm and Sifu turned heel when they cheated out of desperation to steal the tag team championships from their then friends 808s & Heartbreak (Bret Heartbreak and Dangermouth). After months of dodging Storm and Sifu were forced to finally defend against the former champs and Heartbreak and Dangermouth walked out victorious. The Openweight title division has been appropriately wide open. Remmy Sky was able to dethrone Aaron Knight in an 8-pack challenge, however, Knight will likely have much to say about that result as he wasn't the one pinned. At a 99, the highest-rated match of the night came as the FCW & CWA castoffs Davis Wayne Newton and Donte Dunn (The Forgotten) took on Americana Jr. and his fellow stablemate Wild Red Stallion in tag team action. The Forgotten came out victorious and will be next up for a title shot against 808s & Heartbreak. The event got a 99 and was my highest-rated show ever in TEW.
