  1. We could definitely add rolls based on reaching certain match grades, the promotion reaching the next level and popularity.
  2. Are there any suggestions for changes to Road to Glory 2020? I think the basic challenge has stood the test of time but perhaps we need to rethink the annual rolls. Perhaps base them on achievements rather than just time progression?
  3. I haven't been keeping up to date with responses here (and i'll read through the thread when I get a chance) but do we really only have three completed challenges?! Let me know if you have completed the Road to Glory in 2016 and i'll add you to the Hall of Fame:
  4. Fight On 2017 is next: Vitality will defend their tag team titles Arias and Hawke Jr. will have a sit down interview hosted by Vita Champagne Lover v Grave Digger Karl Kozlowski v Kalu Owusu Wael Hossam defends the Triple Crown against a mystery opponent
  5. I think so too. There are plenty of good wrestlers who could carry a number two promotion in 2020. People like Darin Flynn, Mark Adonis, Grave Digger, Michael Gregory and the Red Devils. They would need a big star to come over too, perhaps Adam Matravers or Jonathan Faust? Or to really spice up the scene perhaps Edward Cornell jumps ship to see if he can escape his brother's shadow?
  6. We have just over three weeks until the new game comes out and I can't wait. I've planned out the rest of 2017 and i'm hoping to write the rest of the year in that time and pay off the current storylines.
  7. I've got an old TEW2016 save which I played until August 2020 so I had a quick look to see who was primed for stardom. Mark Adonis - seems like he could be a megastar. In 2016 he could talk right off the bat and had decent basics. His SQ was probably a bit low at B- but that can develop too. Maybe he's one of the top guys in 21CW four years on. Beast Bantom and War Machine - the two easiest workers to book on the UK scene. Both have A rated menace and are decent in the ring. In 2016 they were both already established on the 21CW roster so I imagine they are big stars. Cobra and Hugh De Aske - Both great all rounders who I always try and get and push Grave Digger - This guy had A* menace and B+ SQ in this 2020 save as well as B's all round for basic skills. If 21CW is still going with Cornell on top then this monster would be a great heel to challenge him.
  8. Like many here i'm playing Animal Crossing, i've finally found a game that my wife likes as much as me. I'm also trying to update my dynasty enough to pay off the current storylines before the new game drops. I haven't played CK2 for a while but I have 485 hours played on Steam, i'm sure i'll be back on it soon enough.
  9. Mighty Wrestling Group - Masters of Pain 2017 Saturday, Week 4, February 2017 Pamplona Arena. Attendance: 2300 Intermission. Part two coming up soon.
  10. That sucked. I need to spend some money on the go home show for Masters of Pain. I also badly need a back up announcer.
  11. Disappointing house for a good show. I need Hossam back in the main event from now on.
  12. Nice big crowd and an excellent overall show rating, Hossam continues to deliver.

The crowd are sympathetic to Macks' plight and boo the Coalition as they pose in the ring. It's an even contest with both teams using fluid wrestling and great teamwork as they go back and forth. </p><p> </p><p> The match is shaping up to be a classic before Sovereign Nation ruin it, much to the vocal disapproval of the crowd. The Red Devils jump down from the ring to help Vitality but they are blindsided by Owusu and Grave Digger!</p><p> </p><p> It's chaos at ringside with the 4 v 4 brawl spilling up the ramp and into the crowd. Illakov and Beskov hit a double power bomb on Digger right onto the ring apron! Digger rolls in agony and the Red Devils start to double team Kalu Owusu.</p><p> </p><p> Meanwhile, in the Nation v Vitality brawl El Gamberro picks up an empty beer bottle from under the ring and tries to hit Antonio Arias with it. Arias ducks and counters with a spinning kick to the gut. El Gamberro drops to his knees and the crowd roars in approval as Arias picks the bottle up and moves menacingly towards the masked Englishman. From nowhere Vita throws herself in front of El Gamberro preventing Arias from using the bottle! The crowd boos and Arias is furious. Arias starts shouting at Vita and even picks her up by her collar but Koller intervenes and drags his enraged partner out to the back. Vita, Gamberro and Adonis leave the ringside area together to howling boos from the live crowd.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating - 67</strong></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46735" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> <img alt="MSrzYWR.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MSrzYWR.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Smith and Ionut are trying to get back to normality after the chaos of the first half of the show. They explain that the upcoming match is not a number one contendership match but the winner will move closer to a title shot.</p><p> </p><p> Barenhaft is out first with Voodude in tow, they are all business tonight after suffering the disappointment of losing their FEW tag titles last month. Lover also needs to bounce back after being pinned by Hossam in the first ever Triple Crown title match. </p><p> </p><p> Lover knows the challenge that faces him tonight. He needs to avoid Barenhaft's heavy offense and keep out of the way of Voodude. Both of these men are excellent wrestlers and this is a fascinating contest. Lover provides most of the offense at first via kicks to the legs and back. Barenhaft tries to overpower Lover but the Mexican slips away and lands a stunning drop kick to his huge opponents head. </p><p> </p><p> Just like the tag match at Fatal Fury, Barenhaft is very difficult to knock down. Drop kicks, chop blocks and flying forearms are all shrugged off by the bulky bear-like wrestler. Lover goes for a sling blade but Barenhaft throws him off. Lover is not just a high flier, he is also an accomplished grappler and he starts to have success by working over Barenhaft's right arm. A series of arm wrenches leaves the big man clutching his arm in pain and Lover finally takes him down with a drop kick to the knees. Barenhaft gets back on his feet with a furious expression on his face, he knows he's in a real fight now. The German comes out swinging and Lover is now forced to use his agility in defence, he is doing a great job of being elusive but fatigue starts to set in and Barenhaft catches him with an uppercut and a lariat. As Lover rises to his feet Barenhaft leaps and puts all of his power into a devastating shotgun dropkick! Lover flies into the corner and collapses in a heap.</p><p> "Unbelievable agility from the big man!" Shouts Ionut as Barenhaft picks Lover up and sends him across the ring with an Irish Whip. Barenhaft runs the ropes and crashes into Lover with the Bear Charge! The cover is a formality, the referee counts 3 and Barenhaft is victorious. </p><p> "What a display of resilience, power and agility." Says Ionut "Who can stop him?"</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating - 56</strong></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46735" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> <img alt="jux88wl.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/jux88wl.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> As the wrestlers make their way to the ring the announcers note that Kozlowski only has Roberts in his corner, his plan to have the Coalition help him has failed. He has to rely on his skill now.</p><p> </p><p> Kozlowski looks to gain the advantage by distracting the referee and involving Roberts but the ref is wise to this. Roberts reminds Karl that Hossam has champions advantage and backs off. The ironic thing is that Kozlowski doesn't need to cheat, he is quick enough and strong enough to overcome Hossam's grappling. Hossam is unable to wrestle the challenger to the mat and instead resorts to suplexes and working over Double K's arms.</p><p> </p><p> The bout is close. Everytime Hossam slaps on a submission from his vast arsenal Kozlowski uses his power to escape or get to the ropes. Everytime Kozlowski gets Hossam up for the Stock Market Crash the champion slips out and fires off some well aimed kicks to slow Kozlowski down. The crowd are on the edge of their seats for every near fall as the match passes the 20 minute mark. </p><p> </p><p> As always stamina is Kozlowski's undoing. Double K has Hossam up for the Stock Market Crash but he no longer has the power to finish the move. Hossam slips out and peppers Double K's right arm with kicks before putting on a wrist lock and jumping over the top rope causing Kozlowski's arms to twist violently and hit the ropes! Double K grasps his arm in agony.</p><p> </p><p> Back in the ring Kozlowski roars in defiance and fires back with lefts and rights. Hossam is rocked and the challenger summons up his remaining strength to lift the champion up for the Crash again. Hossam again slips out and counters into a sleeper then transitions into the Camel Clutch! The crowd are going crazy, Kozlowski has no fight left and he taps out!</p><p> Hossam retains!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating - 75</strong></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46735" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> Flushed with victory and sweaty from his exertions; Wael Hossam takes a mic.</p><p> "That was amazing! That was a close one. Thank you Karl." He takes a moment to catch his breath and wipe away some sweat. "This is what I live for and I can see that you all enjoy this too." He pauses again to allow the crowd to roar their agreement. "I'm happy to take on anyone in MWG. Anyone in Spain. Anyone in Europe. I'll take on anyone in the world! My challenge to the MWG board is to scour the globe to find the best of the best. Let me show the world just how good the MWG champion is!" Suddenly Double K attacks from behind with a clubbing blow to the back of the head.</p><p> "I'm not finished with you!" Kozlowski roars as he puts the boots to the fallen champion. The Red Devils run down to the ring but Roberts sacrifices himself by blocking them off and taking a beating. Kozlowski can't lift Hossam up for the Stock Market Crash so he hits him with a chair before fleeing from the Red Devils. Kozlowski poses on the entrance ramp as the show ends.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating - 78</strong></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Overall show rating - 70</p>
