  1. Also it's not Silva's fault if people don't stand a chance against him, if they earn a title shot they earn a title shot.
  2. LOL when has he said that? Because he has expressed clear cut reservations time after time. Silva has always said he is open to it.
  3. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Fantabulous" data-cite="Fantabulous" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="26660" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>And did you see the first round? I'll give you Silva doing all those things in the second round, but the first round was almost entirely pantomiming and clowning around from Silva.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Except for when Okami pushed him into the cage for a couple of minutes, Silva attacked with knees, and then a headkick before rushing him at the end of the round.</p><p> </p><p> Calling it clowning around suggests it has no purpose, which is not true.</p>
  4. Did you not see the start of the second round? Silva came out on a mission, moving wildly as he came forward and throwing all kinds of shots. After that he did lure Okami in but to say he didn't initiate anything is false.
  5. Exactly. You need a massive ego to even cope with that side of things, and only one man has one big enough...
  6. His knees are gone for good, he'll lose if he's against someone who wants it. And Silva - what is there to say. I ****ing love that man! Now THIS was an event to show someone if they'd never watched MMA before.
  7. Well that was inevitable. Apart from the fight I knew nothing about I'm 3/3 so far =D
  8. I love him. This and the Nate fight...he's an idiot, but he makes things happen.
  9. They are not going to let Okami lay on Silva that's for sure. Same with Forrest and Shogun. Refs zealous with standups so far...a few of these fights could represent public executions.
  10. Haha I know, I just found it funny. Though I'm not sure (in WWE even) I've ever seen a "if X loses we riot" sign and X actually lose, I'm sure people are more forgiving when it's lady luck answering to them
  11. Nogueira is 18/1 to win by TKO/KO. Think I'm gonna go for that xD
  12. Crowd's chanting "you're going to die" at the weigh ins to US fighters apparently xD
  13. Forrest I would think. He just doesn't seem too enamoured with the whole fighting thing right now. If he suffered a loss anywhere near the one to Silva I don't know how he'd react.
  14. Aye but he's not exactly fought that much, got dropped by Nelson and I don't remember him taking many shots (apart from Cro Cop elbows) in his last 2. Didn't notice the eyes though, I'll have to check that out xD On the spot retirement tbh.
  15. Completely different kettle of fish. Pettis/Guida was a clear style clash where neutralisation was possible, Guida and Henderson are too similar for one to dominate the other in that fashion. Got a weird feeling about tomorrow's main event, just based on the way the UFC are now after all this time banking on Silva with his heightened drawing power and exposure in Brazil. With his age, his enigmatic approach, it could so easily go so wrong. Not that I expect it to. Anyway: Silva vs. Okami Shogun vs. Griffin - I think he'll blitz him, not getting good vibes off Forrest atm Nogueira vs. Schaub - okay so maybe this is becoming a Brazil love in, but Cro Cop gave Schaub a lot of trouble and almost outfoxed him, he's been KO'd before, and I think he'll get dropped on the feet again and then maybe submitted here Barboza vs. Pearson - I like Pearson but don't see what he has to offer here Cane vs. Nedkov because I've heard of him.
  16. Henderson/Guida makes by far the most sense if they're not putting on an absolute blockbuster IMO. Guaranteed to be a great fight.
  17. Forrest/Shogun 2 is one of the hardest fights to pick in a while. Shogun is almost certainly not 100% and Forrest kind of seems like he doesn't want to be there. I think the home crowd factor might just be enough for Shogun but if this were in the USA I'd pick Forrest without a doubt. Also I love how they're already planning Anderson's next title defence (or a three rounder at LHW maybe). They're banking on one man winning even more than with GSP/Shields.
  18. Could see it maybe being a bit like Stun Gun vs. Condit; early takedown, Anderson gets back up, Okami has no other ideas and gets KTFO. Someone on twitter speculated that if Silva wins they'll offer him Hendo as the first ever Fox main event basically just to hype up a potential Sonnen rematch. Then some dude started saying Hendo was a bigger draw than Chael and I told him vs. Anderson he was very, very wrong =D
  19. So, anyone think Okami has a chance of blanketing Anderson for 5 rounds?
  20. Anything that freshens TUF up is a good thing IMO.
  21. Lesnar/Mir III as the first Fox show? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
