  1. Yeah I saw that. It was posted after I had already posted this. Still this thread is mostly just for background images. People had shared some pretty good collages for TEW2016 loading screens which I definitely made use of. Thanks for putting that together. I may actually make my own skin this time around.
  2. Since just like TEW2016 this game can use custom loading screens, I decided I would jump start this. I've made a custom template that tries expose as much of the background as possible. The file below has a psd and png version of the template Link to the file (let me know if it doesn't work): http://www.mediafire.com/file/3zrtyg77o429sex/Template_Updated.rar/file Sample image: http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/f223/x5o5zzr19lps6l5zg.jpg Note: It may be useful to just share properly sized backgrounds without the template applied as some Skin makers may have custom templates for the loading screen. This way users can just apply which ever template they want.
  3. So I have to ask if anyone else is having issues with this. In all the past games (TEW2016 & WMMA5) on all the lists, you could step through the list using the arrow keys and if there was a scroll bar you could use the mouse wheel to scroll. None of that is working for me in TEW2020.
  4. I always forget to suggest this and in my brief look through the era settings it seems like this has not changed. The way the male/female ratio is set is annoying for fantasy mods (such as the 9000 verse) or organic mods. I'd like far more control. Either something similar to how it's done in WMMA5 with independent settings for each gender or perhaps a slider. For a slider all the way left could be 100 male and all the way right 100 female and obviously half way is 50/50. This way you could still accurately simulate history but give far more control to those who wish to change things up. I thought of trying a 50/50 organically grown DB but with the current set up that's not very realistic. I could do it by setting a bunch of era's and alternating the settings between "Exclusive Women" and "No Women", but that's not very organic and a lot of effort.
  5. I did get the new wwe game and just managed to play for an hour. Mostly just browsed through the creation modes...not impressed so far. Some things immediately turn you off. For example when editing the body when moving a slider the character model completely disappears and then redraws when you stop moving the slider. Other simple things like being able to preview how the announcer will announce your name are completely gone. I tried one exhibition match. The new controls will take some getting used to. Not sure how I feel about them yet. Other than that it’s your typical wwe buggy release. Glitchy menus and glitchy in ring physics (especially the ropes). Did not leave a good first impression but I knew what I was getting into. Likely shelved for at least 3 or 4 patches. I have too many other good games to play.

Plus what franticloser said is also correct.</p>

It’s not the amount in debt, it’s the length of time in relation to company size (and there may be other factors) so unfortunately there is no way to force it to go faster. I even made booked the event with my middleweight champion vs. TBA in anticipation.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Another thing you can double check is your email settings (especially if you use multi-advance like me). The "<strong>Rival Updates Contract Bid</strong>" setting should be set to at least "receive" but most likely "important" (so it will stop multi-advance). I seem to recall that I had either accidentally changed this at one point or it's not set as important by default and I lost a few fighters because I didn't realize the AI had updated their bid.</p>
  9. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="DC4MVP" data-cite="DC4MVP" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44606" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I just had Kelvin Gastelum say this and sign back up with UFC anyway. <p> </p><p> My company is #2 in the world/low-level national and I blew UFC's offer out of the water and still couldn't land him.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Well I don't know what to say. I had a 20 year + game going at one time where I had gone through hundreds of bidding wars and I have extremely aggressive AI hiring turned on and have never had that happen (but obviously with such a long running game I did hit a point where I was the largest company so I definitely wasn't always competing against larger companies for every bidding war). The usual scenario is</p><p> </p><p> I adjust the bid to get the second message.</p><p> AI updates offer the next day.</p><p> I adjust the bid to get the second message.</p><p> AI updates offer the next day.</p><p> 3-4 more times I eventually get to a point where the AI won't update their offer and I land the fighter.</p><p> </p><p> Now what I haven't checked is whether or not after my last offer does the AI keep their offer on the table or are they withdrawing from the negotiation. In my current game I just kept two of my top fighters in a bidding war where I was mid level regional and the company I was competing with was mid level national.</p><p> </p><p> You said in your game that your company was low level national. What level was UFC's size at the time because the size difference definitely plays a part? I'm assuming the situation is rare but am trying to get to the bottom of it because as I stated in my experience the second message has been a guarantee as long as there wasn't an updated offer from the AI.</p>

I had kinda hoped that this version of the game would've fixed that little problem.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> To be fair, the game does tell you when you make the offer whether or not fighter will sign with you.</p><p> </p><p> If they say</p><p> </p><p> "I'd accept these terms and it would be one of two offers I'd seriously consider"</p><p> </p><p> they could sign with either company (in theory...I usually make sure I up my offer whenever I get this response).</p><p> </p><p> If they say</p><p> </p><p> "I'd accept these terms and seriously consider signing for you unless a better offer comes my way in the near future."</p><p> </p><p> they will sign for you unless the AI updates their offer. I've never had a fighter go to the other company when I've had this response for a contract offer.</p>

  12. I'm just wondering if anyone has seen a local showcase show occur? I'm currently in a 13 year long game and there has not been one yet (and yes I did filter the results correctly to see them). I'm pretty sure the reason in my case is that I started with a reset mod similar to Taker's where every fighter started with no popularity. Currently there are lots of extremely popular fighters as there are International and National companies, however they are all employed.
  13. It's due to the reputation of the teams versus I believe the popularity of the fighters. So if the fighters are virtually unknown and the teams have a fairly high reputation they can't join. This works the other way as well...the fighters may be too big for any of the teams in Australia.

Fighters move more often for employment opportunities in WMMA5 than in past versions.</p><p> </p><p> Also what database are you using and have you checked the era settings? If I remember correctly, The era controls where companies can hire workers and it can be set so that even regional companies can hire from anywhere. I’m at work so I can’t check it atm.</p>

There are 3 options in the option screen affecting local fighters:</p><p> </p><p> Small Local Shows</p><p> Large Local Shows</p><p> Local Naming</p><p> </p><p> Turning off local shows will prevent any fighters from fighting local fighters when the are unemployed (but obviously they will sit inactive until a company in the database hires them). If you leave local shows on you will have fighter vs local fighters until the fighter has 5 fights at which point they will be scheduled against other fighter in the database on local shows if there is an appropriate match up. "Local Naming" just gives local fighters realistic names where possible however they are still local fighters and they do not exist in the database.</p>

Now the only characters in the game world will be the ones that the game started with and their subsequent regens. Regens are generated from a worker already in the game when they retire. They share the same basic data such as nationality, ethnicity, picture etc. Therefore if the retired worker had a picture the regen will have a picture.</p><p> </p><p> Randomly generated workers are completely random characters. I suspect that the worker is generated and then is assigned a picture from a list of pictures that match the criteria from the "free pictures". So if the worker is male, asian and 180 lbs, a short list of pictures from the "free pictures" would be created and then a random picture from that list would be assigned (I suspect...I haven't seen the code). In any case the only ways to reduce the chance of a generated worker not having a picture is to add more free pictures and/or reduce the restriction on the existing free pictures (for example making them available for a wider range of weights). Anyway without a huge amount of free pictures you cannot eliminate the possibility of a worker ending up without a picture.</p><p> </p><p> Regens and Generated Workers can be turned on/off in the options.</p>

  20. Yes you can put some new in the fight. Click on the “I” button next to the match and it will take you to the match making screen.
  21. For a suspension I'm not sure. I had one nuclear challenge that I didn't book for a long time because the challenger had a loss (I forgot to book the challenge) and they had wanted to fight the champion so I wanted them to be on a win streak. Eventually, the challenger started sending me emails and every time I booked the champion against someone else, the challenger took a moral hit. I'm not sure the time frame but it was a very long time.

Thinking it be a good idea to create a Greydog Squad and invite whoever's playing on this board.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Well I did purchase MH4 for PS4, but I haven't started playing it yet...I have a huge backlog of games (mostly on PC/Steam).</p><p> </p><p> I did buy EA UFC3. I did appreciate that they removed the more annoying mini games from the single player career mode, however it is still a mostly linear experience with not many changes from last year. Overall I'm satisfied for what I expected but it won't be long before it starts to gather dust. It's weird that last year my brain couldn't connect the dots with the submission mini-game and this year it's like second nature. I'm pretty sure it's still the same so I have no idea why my brain is suddenly processing it better.</p>
