1. Not sure if this is b.s. or not but I read that Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos of Strikeforce fame, might be in talks with the WWF. For me I am not sure if I believe it, first she does not have the "look" of the other Divas (neither does Kong but Kong is a more known person to wrestling fans in my opinion). Also, her English is not that great, which I know does not matter and they can cover that up by either giving her a manager or not having her speak at all. I am just not sure she will be a good fit.

No kidding. If the question would you rather Kong or Cyborg the answer would be Kong as at least she looks like a woman.

  2. Someone recently pulled out the old saying “If everyone jumped off a bridge would you?” on me recently and I realized something. The truth of the matter is I already have jumped off a bridge because everyone else was doing it (and it looked fun), not only that but almost everyone I know has at some point in their life jumped off a bridge because everyone else was doing it. I think of it as part of a normal childhood one day you go to a local lake or river see some kids jumping off a bridge and decide to join in.

Speaking of Bill Simons for those who didn’t already know last year he interviewed HBK and The Miz on his podcast the BS report. Good listens, like all of his podcasts are.

  4. I think the whole thing was in poor taste anyway. I mean, was I the only one who was thinking Owen Hart when they watched the segment.

I was thinking of Jeff Hardy and Shane McMahon. It almost felt like it was a little poke at Jeff at times.

To be honest, it didn't even cross my mind. I was thinking more like Sting/Raven to be honest.

Now it makes me think of that terrible Vampiro Sting feud.

I thought the Titantron thing was okay though I was expecting something to do with alcohol as the ultimate sacrifice.

I wouldn’t want to see divisions go away or wining a division not guaranteeing a playoff spot, but the idea of seeding being based only on record (and what ever tie breakers are needed) I could get behind.

  6. Stennick is right, I read that the show did not do well in the ratings and there is a very good chance it will be cancelled. That being said, Damages did not do good ratings for FX and they kept that around for three seasons I believe. If you go by that FX has some history of keeping quality shows around despite the abysmal ratings they seem to garner. I hope Terriers is one such show.

I know it did bad. I blame FX for how they marketed the show in a way in which no one had any idea what the show was about. I mean if it wasn't on FX a channel I gave all of it's new shows a chance I wouldn't have bothered to watch it. I am just hoping that it becoming the critic darling of new shows this year (due to the lack of one on network TV this season) FX renews it. You never know with Cable channels, sometimes they stick with a show with low ratting as long as it gets good press.

It wouldn't make sense for the 'E to do that, but I'd like it.

My dream would be Cena takes out Orton and Barrett wins the title. After the match Cena shakes Barrett's hand and then takes him out. "Awesome" plays the Miz comes out beats Barrett and the night ends with The Miz and Cena Hugging. Sure it doesn’t add up at all and would never happen, but I would love it.

  8.
What are some TV shows you watch or watched that you knew where horrible, but you still liked (stay away from reality TV as that is too easy)

I recently started watching LEXX again on Netflix on Demand I remember watching it when it was on Show Time I want to say or maybe it was HBO when it was first on. It has to be one of the worst space shows ever yet I love it. I mean the Acting is horrible, the costumes are horrible, the sets are horrible, the effects are bad for the time, the writing is a combination of cheesy and just plain bad, and the story kind of sucks. That being said it is just fun. It crosses that line perfectly of so bad it’s good.

  9. Well it was rather fun watching them beat the Eagles. :p

I'm glad Campbell is gone. I'm not denying McNabbs skill, just don't care for him.

I would love to have McNabb on the Vikings then we could develop a younger guy for a couple years. Though Childress would have to draft a young quarterback, which he has shown he has no interest in doing, as he is an idiot. I think he still thinks T-Jack is going to be a real quarterback.

  10. I agree there shouldn't be a "choose" but it does feel that way sometimes doesn't it? Either way I'm glad people enjoyed the show.

Yeah it does which always bothered me. I am one of them people who just likes watching wrestling. Last time an ROH show came to town I went. The last time TNA came to town I went. When WWE comes here on the 24th I am going. I have been to one of the local Indys for the last 12 or so shows they have done. Heck I have taken vacation days to go see all 4. Hell I even went to a Wrestlelicous taping (it was a double bill with that indy F1rst Wrestling) and if it wasn’t for working on Saturday and Sunday with limited vacation days I would go to more local events. So when people act like I have to pick one it gets on my nerves. They are on different days and I have a DVR I don’t need to pick.

  11. Thats awesome, I don't care if it was the best angles ever done in pro wrestling I would never watch a show with 7% wrestling. I don't watch wrestling for sub par acting I watch wrestling for wrestling.

After this show nobody can talk about the WWE needing to put more wrestling on their shows so thats nice.

Glad to hear it was a good show for those that enjoyed it. Maybe this will generate interest just not mine lol.

This may come off wrong so I will start it with saying no disrespect. That argument is pointless and completely invalid unless one of two or both takes place. If the person compares TNA to WWE when talking amount of wrestling or they are seen praising this then make an statement on WWE something like only 35 minuets of wrestling on a 2 hour show is unacceptable. Though adding something like when the angles are that bad, would make it okay to say. Unless they link WWE to TNA or they say something that doesn’t gel with something they said before then what TNA does should not effect what people say about WWE and vice-versa.

  12. I have no idea who THEY! might be, but if I remember correctly, THEM! were giant mutated ants, so THEY! might be giant mutated spiders.

    It's a thought.

    :o

The second I heard about Canadians trying to splice spider DNA with goat DNA I knew it was only a matter of time before we either had giant spiders or some weird goat-spider hybrid make its way to America. Though coming to Florida first is a bot of a shock.

    :D
