1. At the very least, regardless how you feel about the game, I think we all can admit that Adam has worked extremely hard on it and listened to our screeching like a professional, especially these last few weeks.
 2. I agree with all of these, especially number 2 when you're playing a new fed or hired new workers.
 3. The search function is helpful but I like wheel scrolling when looking through the available workers list
 4. 1 day isn't a crazy delay. I'm disappointed but it's not a big deal.
 5. I feel like more people need to do this. Like I said, there have been a lot a valid criticisms, but I think some of them can be solved with user familiarity, which comes with time.
 6. So then the problem isn't with prebooking it's with us wanting a single button "highlight angle" + "move up" or "move down", which I think is a legit criticism. Rearranging cards now with the individual arrows is more annoying and was easier with TEW16.
 7. I just pre-booked a show and then ran it no problem at what I think is normal speed. Where do you see the issue with prebooking that makes it less simple?
 8. Pretty much. There are a few "default" angles I used a lot like "Monster Unleashed" and "Modern TV Opening." and some of the Video Package ones, but for the most part I just use freestyle angles because it gives me exactly what I need.
 9. I'm actually surprised all three survived. I always looked at DAVE as "CZW that got popular" and PSW as more similar to ECW proper, maybe a bit toned down.
 10. I know most of the matches going into each show so it's really just a matter of quickly selecting the workers. Once you get the filters down, it's really easy. I also work with smaller rosters, so I know each worker inside out and where they'll be on the lists.
 11. It's not like we'll be sitting down with a textbook and learning. You learn as you go. It's like playing a new video game. Take Mortal Kombat for example. They change a few things each games, add abilities, change combos, etc. You're not picking up the new Mortal Kombat and absolutely dominating like you used to because you have to learn the changes. You have the fundamentals, obviously, but you learn the new stuff by playing and pretty soon, you get used to it and you're back to normal. Then the next Mortal Kombat game comes out and you repeat the process. A lot of our knowledge transfers from 16 to 20. He added and changed a whole lot of features and it's going to take some time to adjust to those changes. They DO need to fix the mouse wheel scroll thing. That's just annoying.
 12. Exactly. We've been playing TEW2016 for 4 years. I can probably book an entire show without looking at the screen. Yeah it sucks that the UI changed but give me 3 months and I'll be able to book a show in 2 minutes with my eyes closed.

So your example here is wrong and doesn't prove anything.

It took me 10 extra minutes to book my first TEW2020 show.

There are some very legitimate complaints here. There are also a lot of nitpicky complaints that will be solved with increased familiarity in the game.

People are naturally adverse to change. We see it with every new release.

 14. I think TEW 07 was the most interesting time. I believe the Mexican draft had just occurred and all the companies were on equal footing, CGC was in a good spot to conquer NOTBPW and SWF and TCW were in the midst of their huge war and had just pillaged the indies. DAVE was also on it's final legs but could still be saved by clever players. Further, the indies themselves had a lot of newcomers debuting every month. In Japan, INSPIRE, a very bizarre and shady experiment, had debuted earlier the last year and I think this was the year BHOTWG and PGHW were going head to head. It was a great time.
 15. I started getting used to the UI FWIW. Just mad we can't mouse scroll on lists.
 16. I think the layout is mainly because we've all been playing the older version for so long. We might get used to the new layout and like it more, who knows. I wont really know until I get a nice long term game going. I remember there was a bit of an uproar about WMMA 5's layout and that basically subsided after about 2 months post release and it had a similar, "all the buttons on one screen" layout. I'm most concerned about games slowing to a halt 3+ years in.

I should root around with settings more.

Check out user preferences. There are a lot of small options you can turn on or off. I tend to turn some of the more annoying things off, like match aim, minimum roster and "leaving off show".

 18. Are you referring to ICW in a mod or IPW? If it's IPW (anti-establishment hardcore), it calls for either 1 wild brawl OR 1 hardcore match (which if you're not putting on a hardcore match in IPW or ICW, is it really a hardcore promotion?). Alternatively, you could always turn match aims off since I've noticed those get in the way of booking shows more often than not. Otherwise, my statements on min/maxing apply.
 19. 15 years on this forum and that's the only time I've ever heard people talking about it. I remember it culminated in Remi's indy workrate product which absolutely could steamroll you to high grades. I've played around a lot with the product system in prior games, but the only time I found myself really tweaking levels was when I was trying to tweak it to give me a better grade or change an effect (vocal vs non vocal, rating based vs pop based). I understand why the min/maxers are upset, but let's at least be honest that that's what it's about. I agree.
 20. The product issue seems to me, to stem from people liking to tweak their product until they get the grades that they want. Product talk on these boards always seemed to revolve around, "What product can get my small pop indy darling company B+ matches on a regular basis?"
 21.
Is Dragonmack even around anymore?

Back in the day there were about 5 of us who almost exclusively played NYCW. It's my favorite company and I've played as them since TEW 2005.

I took a look at them and they look interesting. Glad to see the style hasn't changed, but I'm reserving judgement until the full game comes out.
