C-Verse. It's a sandbox with no preconceptions. I occasionally will play mods like the 2004 mod or some of the "real world what if" mods, but my favorite is the C-Verse. You can play the same company 10 times and have wildly different experiences.

This is anecdotal, but playing NYCW and two years in, I have people gaining stats. Losing stats in mid 30's could be due to lifestyle factors or poor destiny rolls that lead to "decline" early.

From my experience, Adam is one of the more receptive and communicative devs in gaming.

November 2021 NYCW: NYCW Empire Title "Fighting" Riley McManus Long title reign for him. I have an aging James Justice signed (merch sales yo) so I might have him take the belt for a short retirement run. NYCW Tag Team Titles Rich and Famous (Jackpot Jordan & James Idol) Not sure what to do with these guys since they're head and shoulders above most of my roster nd current tag teams. Considering having them drop the belts and go singles for a while before reuniting them for more tag runs. NYCW Tri-State Regional Super Massive Destroyer Just an experiment to get him over. Not sure it's working at all. His popularity is stalled at 17. NYCW King of New York Freedom Eagle I feel like he's about to break out soon but I'm spreading my attention across oo many people. He'll probably feud with Matt Vincent and go over since Vincent is kind of pissing me off and isn't long for this company.

I'm enjoying it but I can't keep myself to one save.

Short answer is that different companies will have different audiences.

Some guys, no matter how hard you push them, just don't get over with the crowd. The crowd just doesn't take to certain workers (See, Roman Reigns, Diesel, etc.). You can't forecast who the crowd will get behind but stuff like Charisma and Star Quality can give you an indicator. If a worker has 70 charisma and 70 SQ, I'm likely to give him a chance and push him to see if the crowd takes to him. Worst case scenerio, he'll cap out still in the upper card. That's why when a random worker starts gaining pop, it's sometimes best to just roll with it and see where it takes you. Who knows, you might accidentally find the next Hulk Hogan.

I only turn off the crowd control one. I don't like micromanaging crowd heat.

With all due respect, Brock Lesnar can come out and stare at the camera for 3 hours and I would watch it.

Adam uses the great "plothook method" where he seeds storylines andyou can use them or ignore them. He also keeps them open ended enought where you can add whatever you want to it. - Why was Enygma's SWF title run badly booked where it killed his momentum? - Who actually owns EX2010? - What was The Idaho Punisher punishing Idaho for?

<p>One year update:</p><p> </p><p> I don't like Brutus Milano, so I had Tennessee Williams beat him in February. Tennessee first fueded with Riley McManus, then Brutus Milano again, then Freedom Eagle.</p><p> </p><p> During this time I had Riley McManus win the King of NY Battle Royal and gave him a win streak. Anytime a worker announced they were retiring from the game world, I brought them in to job them to my boys.</p><p> </p><p> In October, Riley started a feud again with Tennessee Williams and beat him at the Deceber show for the Empire title. My goal is to keep him with the belt a bit, while Tennessee getsa redneck stable together and feuds with the Dimeo family.</p><p> </p><p> Speaking of the Dimeos, I gave the tag straps back to them in August. The Casey's are not doing well, its a mix of bad consistency and somehow, poor chemistry together.</p><p> </p><p> Denny King won the Tri-State regional in February and I don't know what to do with it. Given the average title run, he should have lost it already but there's really no one I could think of who I'd like to have it. I might just give it to Andrew Harper because I always liked him.</p><p> </p><p> Other interesting notes:</p><p> </p><p> - Freedom Eagle and Hawkeye Calhoun are both really good but they're not getting to Star status at all. </p><p> </p><p> - Popularity is tough to get past 17 unless you job out retiring workers with high pop or abuse "keep strong"</p><p> </p><p> - Finances are very stable and we're turning a nice profit. Thinking of running two shows a month (probably could have started that in the summer.)</p><p> </p><p> - Due to BCG, Animal Harker demanded a pay increase from $30 to $500. Start upgrading the merch. It takes a while. At level 4 the workers are setting up tables before, during intermission and after the show, just like they do in real life, and selling their own merch. So your company isn't making a specific shirt for your headliner, he's selling his own shirt that he gets screen printed at the local mall.

First real game. I got an owner goal of not hiring Brawlers... wtf THEN the Casey brothers have awful tag chemistry. Kill me now.
