  1. <p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">2020 Mae Young Classic- First Round Preview</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> This will be the first televised event in the new NXT era. The era of no longer being a developmental company. It will feature the first round of the 2020 Mae Young Classic. Very exciting match-ups coming your way, so let's look at the card:</p><p> </p><p> Sarah Logan vs. Chelsea Green</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Isla Dawn</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> Kacy Catanzaro vs. Raquel Gonzalez</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> Deonna Purrazzo vs. Vanessa Borne</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> Jessamyn Duke vs. Kay Lee Ray</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> Marina Shafir vs. Xia Brookside</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> Shotzi Blackheart vs. Piper Niven</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> Sara Lee vs. Santana Garrett</p><p> Comments:</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">bonus questions (4 points each)</span></p><p> </p><p> Please predict who you think will win each tournament.</p><p> </p><p> Mae Young Classic Winner:</p><p> NXT Title Tournament Winner:</p><p> NXT North American Title Tournament Winner:</p><p> NXT Cruiserweight Title Tournament Winner:</p><p> Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Winner:</p><p> </p><p> I'm planning on running this show tomorrow, then the first edition of NXT Unleashed will air, but the NXT Unleashed shows will not be part of the prediction contest, so hopefully I can knock them out quick.</p>
  2. There will be prediction contests, normally they will be January-June and July-December. This first prediction contest will include 2 shows in June, as well as 4 or possibly 5 NXT Takeovers. TV shows will not be up for prediction, just the events such as NXT Takeover. There will be 6-7 shows for each prediction contest. I haven't decided on prizes yet. I'd still like to do a Fan Challenge Series, but I'm not sure I'll have enough people predicting regularly to do so. We'll see how the first few prediction shows go and then go from there.
  3. <p>It's time to reveal the brackets and groups for the 5 tournaments.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">NXT Title Tournament</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> Pool A- Finn Balor, The Velveteen Dream, Keith Lee, Dexter Lumis</p><p> Pool B- Ryback, Matt Morgan, Rusev, Karrion Kross</p><p> Pool C- Roderick Strong, Damian Priest, Dominik Dijakovic, Titus O'Neil</p><p> </p><p> These are some stacked pools, and it's hard to determine just who will come out on top. </p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">NXT North American Title Tournament</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> Pool A- Zack Gibson, Daniel Vidot, Bronson Reed, Cal Bloom</p><p> Pool B- Ridge Holland, Isaiah Scott, Cameron Grimes, Joaquin Wilde</p><p> Pool C- Dave Mastiff, Alexander Wolfe, Ariya Daivari, Jack Gallagher</p><p> </p><p> Not a lot of star power in this tournament, expect several of the wrestlers in the NXT Title Tournament to make a bid for the NXT North American Title. Also several of the participants in the NXT North American Title Tournament are Cruiserweights.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">NXT Cruiserweight Title Tournament</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> Pool A- Tyler Breeze, Kona Reeves, Robbie E, Travis Banks</p><p> Pool B- Tony Nese, Jake Atlas, Drake Maverick, El Hijo de Fantasma</p><p> Pool C- Mansoor, Morgan Webster, Noam Dar, Raul Mendoza</p><p> </p><p> Nice group of cruiserweights here, gotta think the winner will come from Pool A or Pool B. Drake Maverick might be the sentimental favorite, but I like Tyler Breeze or Robbie E to come out on top.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic (Winner becomes NXT Tag Team Champions)</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <a href="imgur.com/HiMhc8n.html" rel=""><img alt="HiMhc8n.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/HiMhc8n.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></p><p> </p><p> A nice mix of teams here! The reunion of #DIY has to make them the favorites, but don't sleep on the team of Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin, or The BroserWeights. When you have reDRagon and Moustache Mountain as the 4 and 5 seeds, you know you've got a stacked tournament. For those that don't know:</p><p> </p><p> #DIY are Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa</p><p> European Union are Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel</p><p> Moustache Mountain are Trent Seven and Tyler Bate</p><p> reDRagon are Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly</p><p> The BroserWeights are Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne</p><p> Burch and Lorcan are of course Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan</p><p> Gable and Benjamin are Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin</p><p> Badd Boys are Chase Parker and Matt Martel</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Mae Young Classic (Winner becomes NXT Women's Champion</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <a href="imgur.com/aUZ1PN3.html" rel=""><img alt="aUZ1PN3.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/aUZ1PN3.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></p><p> </p><p> It's hard to think that an unseeded woman will win the Mae Young Classic. The top 8 seeds are really, really strong. Welcome Dana Brooke to NXT who comes in as the #6 seed. A bit of a curious move. This is a tough one to call as well.</p>

  5. <p>Here are the highlights from a press conference that <strong>Triple H</strong> had as he announced the reformation of NXT.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Roster</span></p><p> </p><p> About 90% of the roster consists of people that were currently working for NXT or NXT:UK when old senile Vince shut them down. Not everybody was retained. There are a few new members to the roster, but Triple H didn't reveal names, saying we would all find out soon.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Schedule</span></p><p> </p><p> The first show that the revised NXT will hold will be the first round of the 2020 Mae Young Classic. More on the tournament format later. NXT has also launched their own network, the NXT Network. In addition to all NXT events being shown on NXT Network, the soon to premiere NXT Unleashed tv show will air on the Network on Thursday nights. The first NXT Takeover under the revised regime will be NXT Takeover: Championship Night, in which all 5 titles will be decided. This will take place in a few weeks.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Titles and Tournaments</span></p><p> </p><p> NXT will have 5 titles, the same ones they had when they were shut down. The NXT Title, NXT North American Title, NXT Cruiserweight Title, NXT Women's Title, and NXT Tag Team Titles. The winner of the 2020 Mae Young Classic will be crowned the new NXT Women's Champion. The winner of the 2020 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will be crowned the new NXT Tag Team Champions. The Mae Young Classic and Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will be held every year, but specific months for the events have not been given. 1 will be held between January-June, and the other will be held between July-December.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Tournament Formats</span></p><p> </p><p> With NXT being the land of opportunity, all active wrestlers currently signed to NXT will participate in a tournament. The Mae Young Classic will have 24 wrestlers. 8 of the wrestlers have been seeded, and they will receive byes into the second round. Seeding was down based on popularity in the United States, as well as experience and Triple H's preference. It will be a standard single elimination tournament.</p><p> </p><p> The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will of course feature 8 tag teams. Those 8 teams have been seeded based on the same seeding criteria as the Mae Young Classic. Going forward, Triple H has announced that the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will be a double elimination tournament.</p><p> </p><p> The NXT, NXT North American, and NXT Cruiserweight Tournaments will all have 12 participants. These tournaments will not be seeded, but instead the participants were randomly drawn into 3 groups of 4. The group play is round robin, each wrestler faces every other wrestlers in the group once, for 3 group matches. Wrestlers earn 3 points for a win by pinfall or submission, 2 points for a win by DQ or countout, 1 point for a time limit draw or Double DQ or Countout, and 0 points for a loss of any kind. The group winners will then compete in a 3 way elimination match to determine the champions. It is said that Triple H may allow the top 2nd place finisher of the groups to participate, making it a 4 way elimination, but that has not been decided yet. This is the format that all 3 of the male singles tournaments will use.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Going Against WWE</span></p><p> </p><p> Triple H admitted that putting a show on Monday or Friday nights to go head to head with RAW or Smackdown would be a grave mistake. Companies have tried, companies have failed, and NXT won't be doing that. He did say, however, that NXT would take every available opportunity to fire a shot at WWE, so expect a fair amount of dirty tricks both ways. Triple H said he would be shortlisting all WWE in and out of ring personnel and trying to steal wrestlers from WWE when they legally could.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Relationships with Other Companies</span></p><p> </p><p> Triple H said that he has established working relationships with several companies, including AEW, Impact Wrestling, MLW, NWA, NJPW, and ROH. In addition, currently NXT will have talent trading agreements with AEW, Impact, NWA, and NJPW. There have been talks of starting an alliance and having alliance titles, but nothing has been set yet.</p><p> </p><p> And now it is time to reveal the tournament group seeding and brackets for the 5 tournaments. Stay tuned!</p>
  6. <p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">June 1, 2020</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> It was just a few days ago when the shock announcement came that <strong>Vince McMahon</strong> was shutting down NXT and NXT:UK. The fallout of that decision was the break-up and divorce of <strong>Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley</strong> and <strong>Triple H, Paul Levesque</strong>. There was now pure hatred between the McMahon family and Triple H, all except for Shane McMahon, who chose to side with Triple H. They set to work on a plan to get back at Vince and Stephanie, and the perfect plan finally came to fruition.</p><p> </p><p> *Triple H steps to the podium*</p><p> </p><p> I am the game, I am Triple H. You see, about 10 days ago was the worst day of my life. I divorced my wife, I wanted to do bodily harm to my ex father in law, but then I talked to my attorneys, and Shane McMahon talked to his attorneys, and I'm about to drop a big bombshell on you.</p><p> </p><p> You see, I had mine and my ex-wife who doesn't deserve to be mentioned nuptials revised, and in there was a key piece.... NXT. *holds up a contract* Zoom in, so you can see this, because this is very important. *camera zooms in to a line in fine print that reads, "The sole and rightful owner of NXT Wrestling, in the event of a custody battle, belongs to Triple H."* "You see, old senile Vince, and my spoiled slut of an ex-wife, you can try to shut down NXT, but this document right here says you don't have the power. I own NXT and everything that comes with it."</p><p> </p><p> Of course the McMahon's didn't take too kindly to this, and an emergency appeal was filed, but the appeal went in favor of Triple H. NXT belonged to Triple H, as well as all the trademarks and wrestlers and staff that were involved with NXT at the time of shutdown. This of course did not make daddy dearest and daddies little princess happy, but they had no leg to stand on.</p><p> </p><p> "I am The Game, Triple H, and this is the reopening of NXT. No more developmental territory for NXT, they are their own company now. I don't answer to Vince, I don't answer to Stephanie, I don't answer to anybody else when it comes to NXT. What I do is my decision, and mine alone. Well... of course Shane O Mac gets a say too."</p><p> </p><p> And with that the reformation of NXT was underway. I hope you enjoyed the backstory, I wanted to get this done today, hence the reason for no graphics. </p><p> </p><p> I will say that graphics won't be a big part of this dynasty, it'll be mostly text based. I will look to write the best dynasty I can. I retained most of the roster from NXT, but there are a few members that I took from WWE. I also hired a couple new talents. The roster will be revealed over the next couple days, probably tomorrow. Hope you enjoy.</p>
  7. May 2020 The pro wrestling world was in shock when WWE Owner Vince McMahon made the announcement that would not only change the pro wrestling industry, but also the status of his very own family. "Effective immediately, I am closing the doors to NXT and NXT:UK. What started out as developmental companies have now seen NXT turn into a company that most people don't even realize is still affiliated with WWE. My son in law has turned NXT into something it was never supposed to be. NXT was never supposed to be it's own brand. It was always supposed to be a brand for them to develop workers so that I could call them up to my baby, the WWE. I am putting NXT down before they get any bigger. All NXT talent will become part of the WWE roster. This includes in-ring and out of ring staff." Triple H, the man who had been behind NXT for the last several years, had these comments.. after destroying his custom built man cave. "Vince, you old, senile bastard. This is the last straw. You have made my life a living hell since I married your daughter. Now you are taking my company, my livelihood. You will not get away with this, old man!" Of course these words sparked a bigger war of words between Triple H and Vince McMahon. Caught in the middle was daddy's princess and Triple H's wife, Stephanie McMahon. To the surprise of some, but not all, she sided with her father Vince, which led to a battle like no other between husband and wife. The end result was a very, very messy divorce. There was no doubt Triple H was at odds with Vince and Steph. But what about Shane McMahon, who for many years played an on-screen role against his father and sister. Would that role continue off-screen? Or would he side with his family. The answer came when Shane spoke. "My father, who quite frankly should have retired years ago, and my spoiled sister, have gone too far this time. I love the WWE, and I loved NXT. It was getting bigger, but have you actually stopped to watch RAW and Smackdown lately? My god they are terrible. The writers my dad has hired to run those shows... hell, me and Triple H could do a better job." So it's clear that this was a family divided. Vince and Stephanie, well they still had WWE. Shane and Triple H, who were now working together, had nothing. Or did they? What Vince and daddies princess Stephanie didn't know was that Triple H had an ace up his sleeve, an ace that would further shock the wrestling world...…… *stay tuned, part 2 of this backstory comes later today. For those curious, I am using TheWho87's Real World Updates, and I'm using the latest update, June 2020.*
  8. Alright guys, after giving it some more thought, this dynasty is over. The main reason why is that I downloaded a new mod, and I upgraded from the demo version to the trial version. However, I have my backstory for my next dynasty set up, and it's gonna be a good one! Stay tuned, I hope to have it started on Monday.
  9. <p>Thanks all for the advice. I honestly tried to go to the editor and remove NXT from being a WWE developmental company, but then I ran into all kinds of problems with that. I briefly thought about using AEW. I had some other thoughts. When it came right down to it, I think I've made a decision. I've invested a lot into this dynasty, and although it might be a little frustrating to lose such talent, I can always use talent trades, alliance loans, borrow wrestlers, stuff like that. So as much work as I put into setting up the tournaments, I think I owe it to myself to see this out. So.. regardless of what the results of the poll say, I'm going to continue this dynasty as is, and hope for the best.</p><p> </p><p> Now, that's not to say I may not eventually decide to do something, else, or may get frustrated and end up using Stephanie McMahon as a user character and auto booking WWE, or who knows. But for right now I think I'll go as is. </p><p> </p><p> AEW just feels like too big of a company for me to take on right now, and I definitely don't want to take on WWE as they are even bigger.</p>
  10. For those that vote, feel free to tell me why you voted the way you did. I'm not going to say that my decision won't be influenced by the vote. I've got a pretty good idea what I want to do, I just hope I can get enough support and followers and people predicting to fully do what I want to do.
  11. Guys, I am getting increasingly frustrated with my NXT dynasty. I know that I am losing predictors and followers because I keep changing up what I do. I thought playing as a developmental company would be fun. The booking has been, but everything else, not so much. Playing as NXT, so far I have had almost 20 members of the roster that are set to be called up by WWE. Names like Finn Balor, Velveteen Dream, Adam Cole and Roderick Strong, Charlotte Flair, Matt Riddle, and several road agents. It's getting increasingly tough to do anything because every time I make a plan, I find out I'm about to lose another talent or road agent. Not the way I want to play, and I really have no interest in playing as a big company like WWE. So I have 3 options. I can either just continue to go as is, knowing that WWE will continue to deplete my roster and force me to make changes all the time, or I can set the editor to make NXT a separate company from WWE and start over. If I did this, I would combine it with NXT:UK, rename NXT:UK, and make it a developmental company. NXT is big enough that it could use a child company, in my opinion. Or the 3rd option is I can start over and forgo using NXT. There are a number of other options in my real world mod that I can use. AEW, ROH, Impact, or maybe NWA or MLW. Although some of these already have dynasties in play which I most likely wouldn't be able to compete against, and I haven't seen another NXT dynasty, it might be good to start fresh with a totally different company not associated with WWE. So I'm going to leave these polls open until Monday, at which time I will make a final decision and stick with it. Although I have to say, if sticking with my current dynasty ends up winning the vote.. I'm just not sure. I'll leave it as an option though. On a side note, is anybody else feeling my frustrations with playing as a developmental company??
  12. The next episode of NXT is set to run tomorrow, but it may not run until Friday depending on how busy my schedule ends up being tomorrow. Either way, it's a stacked show, so if you want to get your predictions in, now is a great time.

  15. I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but here goes. I am still using the demo version of TEW 2020, and I plan to play it out before I purchase the full version. This is partly due to the fact that I just don't quite have the money to buy the full version right now, and partly because of the fact that I've heard that the full version might still have some issues to work out, especially with real world mods, which I happen to be using. My question is, will I have any problem keeping my NXT save my doing in this way? In the past, I've always just bought the full version without playing the demo, and I definitely don't want to lose my NXT dynasty. Advice? Comments?
  16. <p><strong>NXT - Wednesday, Week 3, January 2021 - Show Review</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="font-size:18px;">A New Sheriff in Town and a Huge Upset Highlights This Show</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> Great work by the new NXT owner to keep us all in suspense through the entire show, forcing us to watch all of it. With their newly started war against AEW, this was a superb way to get people to tune in to NXT and stay tuned in. The big reveal came at the end of the show, and to the surprise of.. well.. almost nobody,<strong> "The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels</strong> came out to announce that he was not just the Interim NXT General Manager, but that he was the new NXT General Manager. With everybody wondering what was going on, Michaels made the announcement that <strong>William Regal</strong> would not be back for a long, long time, and the WWE board decided to pull him from the role. Therefore, Shawn Michaels is the new sheriff in town!</p><p> </p><p> He said that he would be keeping a close eye on things, and that security would be bumped to the max to keep things under control. He did say that he wanted some help, of the female variety. He wanted a female sheriff to dictate the NXT Women's Division. He said he would personally be interviewing candidates, and that a final decision would be made next week on NXT.</p><p> </p><p> The main event of this weeks episode of NXT was a spirited match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic between <strong>Moustache Mountain</strong> and <strong>Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly</strong>. It was a solid match, with Fish and O'Reilly pulling out the victory to get us one step closer to an all Undisputed Era final.</p><p> </p><p> The biggest shock of the night took place in a Mae Young Classic match, as <strong>Chelsea Green</strong>, not new to pro wrestling, but fairly new to NXT, pulled a huge upset over <strong>Charlotte Flair</strong>! Flair was her usual overconfident self during the match, and just made one mistake too many before being victimized with a quick roll-up. After the match, it looked like we were on the verge of having another postmatch attack, but Flair calmed down enough to shake Green's hand.</p><p> </p><p> A good show, not as good as last weeks, with the only real star power being HBK and Flair, but NXT seems to be going in the right direction. Of course, with their previously mentioned new war with AEW, it will be interesting to see when and if the dirty tricks come out to play.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Full Results</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <a href="imgur.com/6ggVoXv.html" rel=""><img alt="6ggVoXv.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/6ggVoXv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Post Show Comments</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> I'll be honest, I wanted Austin. He was my first choice to play the NXT General Manager role. Unfortunately in this particular mod, he is unemployed and wouldn't negotiate with NXT as he considered us too small. Ron Simmons was never going to get the position, because I needed someone with solid charisma and microphone skills. While Simmons has the menace to be a good bodyguard role, I don't think having him speak more than his usual catch phrase would have worked. So, HBK gets it by default. </p><p> </p><p> I have a good idea who is going to be the new General Manager of the NXT Women's division, but I will be announcing the 3 candidates soon. It's hard not to look at segment and show ratings, even though it's not a big part of my dynasty. However, in a sense, it is, because right now, NXT is being shown on the graveyard shift everywhere because they don't even come close to filling the minimum ratings that the prime time slots were looking for.</p><p> </p><p> You did hear right, we are at war with AEW. This is thanks to Mr. and Mrs. McMahon-Helmsley, who got the ball set in motion. My preference was to work with them, but Trips said no. This is going to hurt, because AEW is putting out better shows than NXT right now. Partially because of the new features and learning curves of TEW 2020, but more so, I'm just a terrible booker lol. It's ok thought, I'm having fun. The point of this is to have fun, so that's what I'm doing, ratings and wars be damned.</p><p> </p><p> Charlotte Flair is pissed! I honestly don't care. I've never been a fan of her, and I am a fan of Chelsea Green. As I said when I took over NXT, I'll definitely be ruffling a few feathers. However, with the new feature to talk to workers to ask them to put over talent, perhaps in the future I should try that. It doesn't matter, Charlotte is leaving in a few days anyways. She is one of 11 workers that are being called up to the main roster. About half are road agents, and the other half wrestlers. So, you might see some crazy things going forward.</p><p> </p><p> Please let me know what you think about the new format.</p>
  17. 24 hours give or take before I run the next show. Please get your predictions in for the prediction contest
  18. <p><strong>NXT Preview- Jan. It will also feature several matches in the Mae Young Classic. </p><p> </p><p> The Interim NXT General Manager will also be introduced. The 3 candidates for the position are "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and Ron Simmons. 19. Breaking News Baszler Suspended Indefinitely! After the attacks of Santana Garrett and William Regal, the WWE Board, including WWE Owner Triple H, Stephanie McMahon Helmsley, and NXT Owner Mike Schaplowsky had an emergency meeting late Wednesday night. They discussed all options, but when everything was on the table, they decided there was only one option. Triple H made the announcement today. "Shayna Baszler has been suspended and banned from entering any arena that hosts a WWE event of any kinds. This includes the Performance Center." When asked how long the suspension would last, NXT owner Schaplowsky commented "This suspension from NXT will be indefinite. If RAW or Smackdown wishes to take her on, that will be up to Mr. and Mrs. McMahon-Helmsley. As far as I'm concerned, she will never work in NXT again, and if she so much as enters an arena hosting an NXT event, she will be arrested on the spot." Stephanie McMahon Helmsley had this to say, "2 vicious attacks in 2 weeks that were Brock Lesnaresque. We can't have this going on any longer. She has no respect for authority or for anybody else within the company. Mr. Regal may never be able to appear on tv again because the attacks upon him were so brutal. Santana Garrett may not wrestle again for weeks, maybe even months. 2 great talents gone because of one psycho that didn't get her way." Triple H went on to say that "Miss Baszler is lucky she even still has a job right now. She's also lucky she isn't in jail. Rest assured though, she won't have a job if she shows her face around the company anytime soon." When asked about how NXT would proceed as far as an authority figure, Triple H deferred to Schaplowsky. "I have narrowed the list of interim NXT General Managers to 3 names, and I will interview each of them. The first name on the list is Shawn Michaels. He was commissioner of WWE during parts of the Attitude Era and he did a fantastic job." "The next name that will receive an interview is Ron Simmons. He has been a road agent for WWE in the past, and he has an intimidation factor that carries to this day." "And finally, our last candidate is.. well.. he's a rattlesnake that can still whoop some ass and drink some beers. You all know who I'm talking about. Stone Cold Steve Austin. Take no nonsense." 1 of those 3 men will oversee NXT until Mr. Regal is able to come back and perform his duties. The decision will be made next week on NXT. Next weeks NXT card is being finalized as we speak, and the preview for next weeks show will be up in a matter of minutes.
  20. NXT - Wednesday, Week 2, January 2021 - Show Review Baszler Strikes Again! Shayna Baszler is proving herself to be a force to be reckoned with in NXT. Midway through the show, NXT General Manager William Regal came to the ring to announce the unfortunate news that due to last week's attack, Santana Garrett would no longer be able to compete in the 2021 Mae Young Classic. Of course, this brought Baszler out, smirking, laughing, and carrying on about how she should take Garrett's place. Regal was not having any of it. "I don't think so sunshine. You see, next week on NXT, there will be a second chance elimination match." Baszler said that she would run through anybody put in her way and get her spot back in the Mae Young Classic. Regal chuckled before giving Baszler some game changing news. "Not so fast, sunshine. Do you honestly think I would reward your horrendous behavior? You see, Shayna, not only will you not be given a spot back in the tournament, but you will also NOT be a part of the second chance elimination match next week. You are done, out of the tournament." While the crowd roared their approval, Baszler was not finished, unleashing an even more vicious attack then she unleashed last week, bloodying Regal before choking him out. Baszler said this would not be the last we had heard of her. Also on the show, the Undisputed Era continued to have their problems. After winning their First Round match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Adam Cole and Roderick Strong were confronted by Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly, who are still upset that Cole and Strong got a spot in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Fish and O'Reilly said that they would win their match next week, and they hoped to see Cole and Strong in the finals so that they could prove who the better team was. We had some exciting matches this week, as both tag team matches produced some of the highest ratings on the show, as well as the main event and co main-event. Here's a look at the results: It was a promising show, as NXT embarks on a new era, but there's no doubt they are a developmental company. It's been rumored that new WWE CEO Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon Helmsley have already given new NXT Owner Mike Schaplowsky that they will be calling several talents up within the next month. How that will play out for the tournaments is anyones guess, but he is definitely on a good start through his first 2 shows with the book. Post Show Comments First and foremost, Shayna Baszler must be dealt with. I refuse to let her go out every week and injure somebody. This situation ends, and it ends now! Secondly, we have a few road agents that just aren't cutting the mustard and will be let go. I'm on the hunt for solid road agents to help me put together the best shows possible. I'm happy to see the ratings higher this week, and instead of every broadcaster being upset with me, only 3 were. An improvement, but as I mentioned, I'm not too concerned about ratings, just putting together the best, most entertaining shows possible. We're definitely working on something here, and the tournaments are going great. Oh, one last piece of business before I end here, we are doing random drug testing after every show. Unfortunately Brian Kendrick was a casualty this week. He tested positive for soft drugs. As he doesn't really have a defined role here in NXT (I have been using him as a road agent sparingly), I've made the decision to have him take advantage of the WWE Wellness Program, and he'll be entering rehab. Over the next couple days I'll work on tabulating the predictions from this weeks show, as well as setting up next weeks show. Please let me know what you think of the new format that I will be using for the NXT shows.
  21. Less than 24 hours to get your predictions in. Thanks to those who have. This show will run tomorrow
  22. I will be running the next show on Wednsday, and I will be using a new format. For those that are interested, please, please get your predictions in. If I'm going to do what I want to do for my prediction contest, I'll definitely need some people predicting regularly. Thanks.
  23. Going to be a couple days delay in getting the next episode of NXT out as I am under the weather. In the meantime, get those predictions in because as soon as I get better, I hope to hit this dynasty hard and heavy.
  24. The 2 mystery teams for the 2021 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic have been decided and added to the bracket. Here is a look at the entire bracket. Mustache Mountain are coming over from NXT:UK, but it is not known if this is a permanent deal or just short term. Raven and Sean Waltman are a definite surprise, as new NXT owner Mike Schaplowsky is thinking outside the box on this one, but both men have a lot of experience and definitely can cause a few upsets in this tournament.
  25. Thanks for the info, very good to know. I will look to make that adjustment going forward and make sure my angles don't just have people rated on overness. I understand that TEW2020 isn't appealing to a lot of people because of some of the flaws, but overall, I find it to be a better game than TEW2016. If I was someone that cared about ratings more, I'd probably be more upset, but as I mentioned, ultimately this dynasty is about me putting things together, not so much the ratings. If ratings become an issue, there's always the editor. But I'm more about the booking and the writing of my dynasty. I appreciate you following and commenting.
